I threw mine out and watched other people do the same thing. The waffle mix was out and people kept pulling it towards them trying to get dough out. We gave up trying. The sausage was bland.

The coffee was barely warm, they were out of knives with a note that said there would be none until “the truck came in”! Same with orange juice.

• Kirsti (8/5): Nice hotel, good location, clean, poorly managed. - Right off the highway. Room was clean and comfortable. Everything seemed to be in good condition. There wasn’t coffee available, until breakfast started. At breakfast they had an omelet that had ham in it, with no label saying there was meat. It looked like just veggies at first glance. When asked if there was meat, the employee was unhelpful, dismissive, and didn’t provide an answer. The staff behind the desk were all very young, and were often on their phones. They were polite though and attempted to be helpful. One staff member appeared to be on shift for almost 24 hours, which leads me to believe that issues with the staff was due to poor management. The pool and hot tub were also out of order.

• Denae (6/5): Ok. I don’t think I’d stay here again - The property was clean, and the attendant was very helpful. It took an hour from the time we arrived for us to get into our room. Which is extra frustrating when waiting out in a hallway that long with a newborn baby. First, we were given a key to a room that people were already in. Then they downgraded our room that slept six to a room that slept four without offering any compensation. We needed a room that slept 6 not 4…. The second room we rented we were given three different keys that wouldn’t work. Finally, a manager was called and our room was opened with a master key but then we did not have a room key. If you’re going to allow third parties to reserve rooms, then make sure you have the room available that was reserved by the third-party.

It's nothing to do with you, but while I was sitting in the parking lot, 2 hunters walked by, both carrying more than one weapon. It freaked me out a little, I gotta admit.

• A8527NKkatherinem (2/5): Horrible customer service, avoid this hotel - My husband and I stayed at the Fairfield in Rawlins Wy on October 4th. We are Gold level Marriott members and always have great experiences at Fairfield hotels, until then. Upon check in (at 5pm) the clerk at the desk was unfriendly from the start. When we got into our room we realized that the television didn't work, we called the front desk and was told "ya it is an ongoing problem" we asked if someone could come up and fix it, he said that wasn't possible, so we ask for another room, again was told that would not be possible. We asked to be refunded our money and we would go somewhere else and was told that he didn't have authority to do that and his manager was out of town. The TV wasn't really that big of a deal but it was his rudeness and unhelpful attitude that made me fume. If this is the kind of representative this hotel has I would say STAY away, there are several other options in the area.

• Daisy (2/5): - Expedia advertised the room I picked as a room that sleeps 5. When we got to the hotel, just before they handed the key I asked if the room fit 5. They said the room only had two queens. They said if I wanted to fix this mistake I would have to call Expedia and fix it. I’m ok with that but the way they dealt with us was so inexplicably rude and unhelpful that it is hard to explain. Not only does the first employee I worked with, a female whose name I do not know but whose attitude has left a bitter taste in my mouth, does not belong in a hospitality career, but the second guy I talked to after I fixed the issue through Expedia belong in this kind of job either. They were both extremely rude about the whole thing. It’s almost like if you book through Expedia you are automatically marked and treated with disdain. The room they gave us had an a/c unit that worked but rattled all night very loud. My only regret is not getting the employee names to make a formal complaint.

Left at 9 o’clock in the morning power was out all night and didn’t get restored from what I understand until 1030 the next morning I would like to request a refund.

• Ron (8/5): Nice close to freeway. - This is a nice hotel close to the freeway. That is its good and bad. You can hear the sound of the freeway but not to bad. It is clean and the room was large. The staff could have been a little more friendly. It was like they were just tired but maybe everyone in Rawlins is that was. We drove through the town and it is a bit depressing how many businesses are closed.

• Keven (4/5): - For such a new property, we were pretty disappointed. The staff was very unhelpful: our tv was not hooked up and we were having a hard time figuring it out. We called down to see if the staff could help us. The girl said she was the only one at the desk so she couldn't help but she'd call us back. Never heard back from her. The breakfast was good but 80 minutes before it was supposed to end, most of the food was gone. I needed to print a pass for our activities for the day so i asked the front desk what i needed to do to use the computer and printer. She was less than helpful. "Just login with your account and password. " Um. Ok. Which one? I tried my microsoft accounts, Google, nothing worked. It was just frustrating.

• ericad265 (6/5): Acceptable - This was probably the most 'meh' hotel on our 11 night trip. Nothing to recommend it, but nothing terrible. Check-in was incredibly bland and disinterested. We were on the ground floor and the outside door didn't shut unless pushed - a safety issue. The room was somewhat dated but fine? At least loading and unloading the car was easy, and there's a McD's and Taco Bell, both open late, just across the street. Breakfast was mediocre with many items running out at 8:30 AM. It was fine for what we needed.

• Patchen (8/5): My stay was just OK. - It was nice I put a few sodas into the refrigerator when I arrived, and they were frozen solid the next day. One of them even exploded in the refrigerator the entrance to the room the door itself fits so poorly. You could see do daylight around the perimeter of the door. The shower, the water faucet was set up backwards. The hot was cold. The cold was hot. It took me a while to figure out.

• TravelingBillK (4/5): Nice Hotel, Unreliable Internet - Room was small but comfortable, very clean, nice. Staff was competent and very friendly. The breakfast had limited selection but eggs, sausage, mini-muffins were fine. Orange juice was watered down, you could see the water being mixed with OJ as it poured - not a good look for a hotel that wants to present as upper mid-tier - and the flavor was faded. If you don’t care about internet connectivity this room is about a 4 out of 5 and the only real negative that takes it down a point is value; it is moderately overpriced. Internet connectivity: We could not sign on. Called the desk. They called back, told us that support said that wifi was down, was being worked on, hopefully would be back in 30-60 minutes. The connection was never stable, kept failing repeatedly, totally aggravating. This is 2025. Connectivity is important, especially for travelers. People expect stable connections. What we experienced was unacceptable. Hotels in this class simply cannot expect a favorable review from people who want to be connected.

Pool and hot tub were not able to be used. Do not recommend this hotel!
• Rollin (10/5): Great place to stay. - The room was quiet and comfortable. Staff was very accommodating and worked with me to resolve a booking issue.
