• Frida (5/5): Sehr nettes Personal. Frühstück o.k. Sauberkeit passt nicht zu meinem Standart und zum Zimmerpreis - Das Frühstück war zeimlich gut. Das Personal hat sich Mühe gegeben, sie waren sehr nett. Sie haben immer wieder betont, dass die hoch Saison nch nicht angefangen hat, deshalb waren sie nicht vorbereitet. Meine Antwort: Sie sollen dann das Zimmer nicht anbieten, wenn sie noch nicht soweit sind... Bei meiner Ankunft war gar nichts vorbereitet. Die Dusche und Wasserhahn im Badezimmer haben nicht richtig funktioniert. Im Laufe meines Aufenthalts haben sie das Problem gelöst.

• Michell Besser (10/5): Just lovely just amazing staff and guests - I lovede the staff very nice welcoming, our first room had problems with the water supply and the toilet couldn’t flush, they tried fixing it without luck but they immediately changed us to a better room without any issues. I loved the breakfast and I loved the whole staff very friendly and smiling staff nothing forced they’re just genuinely lovely people. I have been travelling to Zanzibar for the last five years and stayed multiple places I can confirm that this is in fact the most nice place I have stayed, the small pool is also nice, clean and well maintained this is my take on luxury a comfortable safe place for both singles and couples. This is the place I will book forthcoming any day anytime. I have nothing bad to say whatsoever ❤️

Most of the items on the lunch and dinner menu were unavailable. Resort had no glasses if you brought your own drinks to the table.
• 65linusa (4/5): Well.. it had potential, but lack the engagement. - Well.. it had potential, but lack the engagement. + Location. - Electricity Beds Service Place to relax Bar So, it has a quit good location right on the beach at the center to the activities around Jambiani. But there is really nowhere to relax at the hotel. They have this awesome balcony with a roof for shade, but didn't put the effort to add beds, sofas or anywhere to chill. On ground level you could hang out, but it just lacks the atmosphere you know. They also don't sell beer or cocktails (which I guess most would like while in paradise). The hotel is organized so that all the residents take off to nearby hotels/bars for food, drink and relaxation. When they with a few simple actions they could have made so much more money ceeping guest hang at the hotel. You can feel they don't really care. Also, the electricity. It's gone all the time. The blame the government or some fault nearby. It's true, the government cuts the power sometimes, but when we walk out of the hotel the neighbors have power. Most of the time it's a local problem to only this hotel. No power = no toilet, fan, shower or AC!!! We sadly would recommend you to book elsewhere.
• sandrine (4/5): Photos trompeuses: ça tombe en ruine - Chambre degeulasse à l’arrivée, pleine de toiles d’araignées et d’araignées, pas de filet pour les insectes. Lit horrible, chambre sale, 2 pouces d’épais de crasse sur le dessus de l’air climatisé, literie tachée. Vu les nombreuses araignées dans la chambre j’ai demandé à changer de chambre, on m’a répondu que pour avoir une chambre propre j’allais devoir payer plus cher. J’ai donc payé un supplément pour une chambre nettoyée convenablement…cette chambre là était en bien meilleur état. Par contre, Aucun service, le personnel n’est d’aucune aide. Ils s’en foutent complètement. Hôtel n’est pas du tout représentatif des photos, ça tombe en ruine. Les heures prévues pour le petit déjeuner ne sont pas respectées (on nous a dit 7h à 9h mais toujours servi en retard entre 7:30 et 7:45..à prévoir si vous avez une excursion de prévue!) le wifi ne fonctionne pas dans les chambres, seulement dans le lobby. Aucune bouteille d’eau de fournies dans les chambres, il faut payer pour des bouteilles d’eau. Aucun shampoing juste du savon de fourni. État général de l’hôtel laisse à désirer comparer aux photos de l’annonce. Mais le pire vraiment, c’est le service qui a été horrible sur toute la ligne.

Hôtel dans un état de vieillissement et vétuste (tuyauteries rouillées, salle de bains très sale, électricité en très mauvais état, poignée de porte moisie, robinetteries inutilisables, etc, etc....) Hôtel à ne pas recommander et personnel sans aide pour les clients.

• Dondre (1/5): Terrible - The view of the sea is great. Unfortunately, if you get the side sea view room, you view will be completely obstructed by the plants/bushes It was a group booking. My wife and I's first room did not have a functional toilet. The second room did not have any running water and then there was a power cut all night. The hotel did not have a back up generator and the hospitality staff had all left for the night leaving only the security guards. My sister-in-law's room had blood on the mosquito net. My brother gave his laundry to be washed and it was returned with bird poo on there. We left after the first night and the hotel refused to refund us anything at all. The owner also accused us of being spies sent from the hotel next door.
• Délene (8/5): A pleasant surprise - This place is Halaal, has good breakfast and fresh fruit juices the best on the island. The rooms are cleaned every morning fresh and cute bedding design changes with flowers which really just make your day. The young staff keep the place bubbly Ibrahim and muddy really were great tour guides. Always on time and never in a bad mood. In fact this place surprised me every day it gets even more beautiful The beds make a lot of noise during sleep moving around it wakes you up every time, you also sink or roll to the middle of the bed. It’s not comfortable at all. The toilet seat was loose which they replaced during our stay which I was grateful for however the whole toilet moves when you sit on it and waking up at 3am to do se the toilet and forgetting might just fall.

• Irist (8/5): Clean and comfortable, pleasant staff on a gorgeous beach. - Good location next to the beach and within walking distance of many good restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff. The property could use a facelift. There were visible tarps on the thatched roofs. The rooms are in need of some general maintenance, eg., toilet was loose, window screen had holes, the railing was broken, we were without water a couple of times. This was often resolved within an hour.

The beach is so peaceful although locals are always trying to sell you stuff The room can do with a closet atleast to store our stuff, there is no tv. We loved being able to walk right out to the beach within seconds of leaving our room. Being beachfront I was looking forward to sitting on our balcony a lot, but unfortunately the sellers on the beach were constantly approaching the fence a few feet away from us. It was just a few steps away from the room and we could hear the waves even as we slept at night. Simply perfect. The breakfast was delicious. A different thing everyday and always fresh fruits and juice. Eating while watching the waves and the sun reflecting on the blue water was simply magnificent. The staff were understanding even when we were late they still saved us our share. The beach was amazing. It was clean and peaceful and we sat there till early in the morning listening to the waves and it was the most romantic thing. The safety was another thing we appreciated alot. Being on the beach till 3am watching the stars without a care in the world is irreplaceable. We felt at home both at Jambiani and in the surrounding areas. Paje town was close. It had more restaurant variety and we appreciated that. We had the time of our lives and it will always be an extra special memory. Would reccommend and would go back again. We would have liked more closet space in the rooms.

The location is great, the beach in front of the bungalows is great, breakfast was very cool with big portions and variable extras. Lots of great places to eat in the neighbourhood, attentive staff, comfortable bed. It was a very pleasant stay. We were generally satisfied with the room. Pillows are tiny bit uncomfortable and sometimes it was a little noisy in the morning with people shouting in the garden.

• Elena (8/5): Very good - Jambiani is a very quiet beach town, with little tourist infrastructure. We stayed for two days to relax and White Sands was a lovely place right on the beach. Great location, friendly staff, and the basics that you need. The air conditioning did not function well, but once we switched to opening the screened patio door the breeze kept us cool.

• Ben (8/5): Nice little hotel directly on the beach. - Quaint little hotel located on the beach at the south end of Jambiani. Room was very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast is served each morning with a selection of fruit followed by a choice of eggs and pancakes. The restaurant isn’t really geared up for much else and doesn’t open in the evening, but there are a nice choice of restaurants in both directions along the beach. Only critism would be that staff aren’t particularly well trained on hospitality and customer service aside of what seemed to be ‘the manager’ Jocher who was very helpful, but obviously not always available.
• Kam (1/5): Quite probably the worst property we have ever stayed in - A couple positives...air conditioning worked adequately, the one dinner menu item we had at the property was pretty good and we were given an unused (and unusable, with a big chunk of the ceiling missing) unit to shower and change after we had checked out...but, alas, that is where it ends... We really hate giving a property a bad review, and if there are one or two glitches - especially if these get sorted - we are happy to roll with it. However, there was so little good about this place and so much bad... Our first unit was grungy, had a broken toilet seat and a aucet that was not actually secured to the sink. We got moved into a second unit that had been renovated at some point and was marginally better in appearance; at least we could use the faucet. The toilet seat was likewise attached with just one bolt. That one bolt broke a couple days later and the seat was reattached but not in the correct location, making it uncomfortable and potentially dangerous to use; there was a gap between the porcelain and the seat that threatened to trap body parts. Our rooms looked nothing like the photos on booking.com The fan worked fine but was old and rusted and every time it was turned on it sprinkled bits of rust on the bed AirCon worked fine as well, but left a stream of water down the wall and sometimes onto the pillows Sheets and pillowcases were clean but were old and stained with rust spots...at least I hope they were just rust... Room was tiny with a huge bed that left minimal room to move about in The sea view balcony/sittling area was tiny and almost unusable Outdoor furniture on the balcony and in the public area was old, broken and virtually unusable There was a single usuable plug in the room No mosquito netting Dining room/common area was uncomfortable with the same old, rickety furniture and shaky tables The property does not have a liquor license, so alcohol was not available. If I wanted a beer, one of the local lads would have to run to a store and fetch it for me While the dinner we had was good, the breakfasts - the same each day - were horrid We ran out of water three days in a row, once mid-shower. By all accounts the property's water tank had been allowed to run dry.

And one of the window locks and the wifi was not working until our second day (but the staff provided us with local sim for us to connect)!

It was extremely hot - not have an air conditioner was very uncomfortable. The swimming pool was not in use either. There wasn’t a place to sit in the room besides the bed. If I was wet or sandy from the beach there wasn’t a place to wait for a turn in the shower.

• Martyna (8/5): Very good - -Faboulous beach -Delicious food -Very nice staff -Clean Bathroom was stinky and toilet seat was broken, it could not remain open without holding it. Personel did their best but the owner should invest and renovate it.
• ceydab2024 (10/5): Amazing - Awesome experience, breakfast is good. The staff is very friendly. Hotel has an home feeling and we have a nice view on the sea! The rooms are big and clean and we had a balcony as well. Fresh fruit every day. Thanks, I had an amazing time with my friends here :)
• Michèle (8/5): Good for a short stay - not too expensive - simple - Location Everything’s a bit slow esp in the morning to get coffee but everybody friendly They could do a bit more to attract people for dinner - like life music or special meals - pool on picture is more a colored bath tub - tiny

• Alice (8/5): Lovely hotel with friebdly staff in a beautiful location - The staff were so friendly. The rooms were comfortable - with great air con and mosquito nets on the beds and windows! The location is stunning - right by an incredible beach. Is it was a great base for exploring the south of the island. There wasn't loads around in the local area that you could walk to in the evening - bars/restaurants etc. But we found a couple of places nearby.

• Heide (10/5): Exotic and relaxing - The room was as expected, clean, simple and perfectly located on the beach. The food was also very good, with fresh fruit every breakfast and a good variety of dinner alternatives. The staff was very friendly and hospitable, and a great driver who actually followed the rules and who made me safe in the traffic. The stay met my expectations to the full! Difficult to walk on the beach without being approached by local offers, all the time. Ok the first few times, but a bit too much after the first day... Nothing related to the hotel!

• Johan (8/5): Very good - Like the Breakfast.like the location .just by the beach. Suleiman one member of staff was amazing he went out of his way to help when our car had a flat battery. No drinking water apart from the first day. Only thing room was supposed to have a balcony with garden view.no really a balcony when only 1 chair can fit .view was to a wall not a garden.for this I do not blame the staff at hotel but was definitely wrong to do.i was disappointed which is a shame .

• Maria (9/5): Feel the beach good vibes - Breakfast was included in the price so it made it easy to start in the morning with a lovey sunrise. The front desk personal( Joka) was very kind with us; he went to the village to get change for us, it was very kind 😊 More information at the reception: timetables for breakfasts, show us the activities book… maybe, as we arrived late in the afternoon, we didn’t get information of like welcome.

• Rosemary (7/5): Room with a view. - The situation was excellent with a choice of places to eat The staff very friendly and always there to help. The standard of cleaning was excellent. The room was small for two people and the toilet seat was not fitted so was uncomfortable. The area where we could sit out was small No alcohol served. Very small pool.
• TrasgoCochabamba (8/5): Superb view, excellent food and amicable and flexible multilingual personnel - Small clean rooms right on the beach with comfortable beds, air conditioned and decent bathrooms. The staff very amicable and with good English, French, German, and some Italian languages. Excellent restaurant service although they are a bit slow when you order and don’t have a good variety of drinks. Kite school next door and the beach is clean and with a great sunrise view
