Desde os funcionários da receção, dos restaurantes/ bares e os empregados de limpeza, foram todos 5 estrelas. As instalações também são espetaculares. O quarto é muito bem decorado e limpo, o ginásio muito bem equipado e as piscinas incríveis. A comida no restaurante Atlas e nos bares da piscina e praia está claramente abaixo da qualidade do resto do hotel, especialmente pelo preço que se paga.

The beach is semi-private, which makes it very pleasant. The hotel offers several facilities. The view from the restaurant is incredible. A little bit expensive.

- Michaela (9/5): Wunderschönes Resort für Erholungssuchende - Die Zimmer sind riesig und sehr schön eingerichtet. Das Essen ist sehr gut und wird auch sehr schön präsentiert. Es gibt kein Frühstücksbuffet, sondern man bestellt a la Carte. Man kann soviel bestellen wie man möchte. Der Mondpool ist sehr hübsch angelegt und man hat eine tolle Aussicht aufs Meer. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, Davinda ist besonders hervorzuheben. Das Gym ist auch gut ausgestattet. Das Resort ist ganz ruhig gelegen und für Erholungssuchende der perfekte Ort. Der Strand war sehr klein und nicht besonders gut zum Baden. Wenn man ein paar Schritte weiterlauft hat es einen besseren Strand.

All of the staff were extremely friendly, responsive and flexible. Andjana, Ranga and Vipul were all a pleasure to meet down at the Beach Cove, as were all the staff in the cocktail bar and Atlas restaurant. Finally, Devandi and the general Manager were very attentive and if ever there was a small problem they were immediately dealt with. We will definitely return again in future.

The resort itself is beautifully designed and very well maintained. The restaurants were excellent, offering delicious food throughout our stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and attentive, and they made everything feel effortless. They helped us with bookings and reservations very smoothly, and even the drivers arranged for experiences outside the resort were trustworthy, kind, and extremely helpful. Overall, the service, atmosphere, and experience were outstanding. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Sri Lanka for the first time. Nothing.

Was uns ins Auge gestochen ist, war der Preis für die Suppen. 18 und 20 Dollar für eine Gemüsecreme. Als Schweizer sind wir uns hohe Preise gewohnt, eine so teure Suppe ist aber sicher selbst in der Schweiz selten zu finden. Beim Einchcken mussten wir die Nummer unseres Mibiltelefons angeben. Kaum im Zimmer, erhielt ich von einem Reisebüro eine ganze Menge Whatsap-Meldungen. Das heisst, dass das Hotel meine Nummer an ein Reisebüre weitergegeben hat. Das ist etwas, das ich in keiner Weise billigen kann!
- Milad (7/5): Wonderful place, lovely staff, but much to improve on to meet the standards and justify value. - Great location, beautiful nature and surroundings, wonderful staff (very kind, attentive, polite), very spacious and comfortable rooms, Forest School (kids’ club) is a great idea and the staff there is wonderful, swimming pools are very nice, the beach club has a nice vibe. Food is mediocre but overpriced, staff (while lovely) needs significant amount of training to meet 5-star resort standards, there was unbearable noise every day mid-day coming from the loading dock next to our room which should have been better handled by the management, then they decide to cut the grass with a noisy machine right next to the swimming pool.

The room was remarkably spacious, and designed with a sense of calm luxury that made it effortless to unwind. What truly distinguished my stay, however, was the level of service. The concierge team was outstanding, consistently attentive without ever being intrusive. A heartfelt thank you to Brenden, who was an absolute standout. He anticipated my needs with such ease that it felt as though he was thinking on my behalf, allowing me to simply relax and savour the beauty of the hotel. There isn’t one single thing that I can think of.

The views from the restaurant were stunning, as were the various viewing points around the hotel grounds. We weren’t told ahead of our booking that the accessible beaches, and the beach bar by the family pool would be closed (the former due to it being rough seas and the latter because it was undergoing reconstruction).

- Simon (8/5): Excellent beach location and amazing grounds. - When we arrived with two adults and 2 kids in a suite we were surprised to find a large room however very dark. The staff and in particular the front office manager Udith were super in addressing the issue and relocating to me to a superior room for most of the stay. I think it related to the allocation of families with kids next to the kids pool but that wasnt what we were looking for as our kids are a little older than those in baby pools. Rest of the facilities were amazing. the property and the breakfast were top notch. As well as the early Yoga sessions with monkeys overhead :) Other than the dark room which we moved out of the only thing i can say I didnt like was the cost of the food which was very expensive. We had lunch there once but other than a few drinks, didnt eat there again. There were also many smaller issues with the rooms which had to be sorted my maintenance. Safe and Door lock not working, one of the overhead fans and at one point the Wifi. But they were all fixed pretty promptly.

- Kevin (10/5): - What a view! The moon pool is stunning! The Forrest school for the kids is perfect as they learn a lot vs traditional kids club. The breakfast is up to Relais and Chateaux standards with a view over the Ocean. We also experimented the SPA and the quality of the treatment was excellent. I would come back and highly recommend it for couples or family with kids.

This was our third time staying here and we will be back Apart from food and beverage prices. I only have small things / suggestions rather than not liking about the property. Surf board rental would be good. Having cold coconuts rather than warm ones. Fix steps that have been washed away to the pretty west beach.

We loved the wildlife and waking up to see peacocks at breakfast and monitor lizards and monkeys to entertain us. Stunning views and lovely watching the surfers on the beach from the clip top position of the hotel Nothing. My only comment would be that it wasn’t clear that you could walk down to the beach (perhaps because it’s a public beach with quite strong surf).

Secondly, the villas were extremely large and comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the large covered patio and garden / pool area. No private beach, it's a small shared beach with the public. Luckily, very few public visitors.

- Hajnalka (10/5): Exceptional - The resort is gorgeous, the garden is beautiful, nicely maintained, with many pools (all with warm water) and also the beach is very nice (no big waves so you can enjoy swimming). Steambath was great in the shower. The staff was very kind and professional, we got a free upgrade upon arrival to the best room of the resort with a great view and a private pool. There was unlimited water supply in the room. Breakfast was amazing, so many choices and very delicious. There is a beautiful view on the ocean from the restaurant and bar. Nothing.

- Miles (10/5): Stunning hotel, impeccable service and the most amazing food we had in Sri Lanka. - Everything was immaculate. The main restaurant is stunning, the service was fantastic. Our room had an infinity pool and a built-in steam room. The main moon pool has the most amazing views and the gym below had great equipment and was spotless. One thing that really stood out for me was the food. My partner and I have dined in some of the best restaurants in the world (without wanting to brag) and I would go back just for the food. Every dish we had was beautifully presented and made from excellent local produce. My partner had a massage at the spa (by masseuses from Indonesia) and said it was the best massage she had ever had. That's saying a lot as she has massages all the time. Big shout to to the chefs and also Sajith who took amazing care of us. The food was so good that every other restaurant we ate at on the rest of our trip was disappointing in comparison.

- Sandra (9/5): relaxing 3 night stay. - The food at Cape Weligama was excellent, we particularly loved the spaghetti lobster dish. It was a very generous with plenty of lobster and the pasta was cooked to perfection. Breakfast was also delicious with plenty of choices and fresh juices. The staff were all incredibly friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. The villa rooms are incredibly large and spacious and tastefully furnished. The only dislike was there were no fans outside on the verandas which was annoying if just wanting to relax and read, without them it was far too hot. The property is very hilly but good if you like the exercise. There is no beach to swim at as rocky below, although the pool is fabulous. We booked a premier villa but did have to share the pool with others which I was no a fan of. Plus, we had another villa above us which took away our privacy.
- Philippe (7/5): Nice but overpriced - The view when you get it is good, the service of the staff is friendly and efficient, the facilities look good Value for money at this hotel for Sri Lanka is very poor, we had to pay USD 1000 per night to get a room with a nice view, food at the restaurant is also very expensive for Sri Lanka. So in short you pay a lot for something good but not something that justifies such charges. It seems completely off in our world where so many options exist to continue this approach to the clients. We went to many beautiful hotels with great food in the country at a fraction of the price, really not excited by the experience.
