Chi segnala di aver percepito pericolo probabilmente non é mai stato in una metropoli nella sua vita. L’annuncio é un po’ illusorio parlando di hotel: si tratta di un ostello a tutti gli effetti, con bagni condivisi e senza servizi. Il personale alla reception c’è poche ore al giorno (anche se molto gentile e pronto ad aiutare quando presente). Segnalo che avevamo un soggiorno con colazione inclusa, ma la prima mattina non sono stati in grado di fornircela perché era il primo dell’anno. Presumo che in molte altre festività possa succedere lo stesso, e contando che le festività sono i periodi in cui la gente si sposta… beh direi che non é il massimo.

Christopher (8/5): - Excellent place to stay if you need something affordable in the area. The store across the street does run loud music untill around 10PM, but it quiets down after that. The cafe downstairs has great breakfast food at reasonable prices. Property was quite clean.

Erin (2/5): - The reservation said the lobby wasn’t staffed after 5. I showed up at 4:10p and the place is locked up. I called the number on the door and the lady had me open the lockbox to get the key. There is no key in the lockbox. She offers me a room in another part of town. I decline. She says they are charging my card anyway because I declined the room on a totally different property. Meanwhile I’m out on the street alone surrounded by a very sketchy crowd of people so I quickly ended the call and left. Ugh.

I stayed here for three months -- I had not expected such a spacious and comfortable room given the central location. Large fridge+freezer in the room, clean and well-equipped common kitchen, full-blinding curtains (They're sliding wooden blinds), the whole place is kept really clean and tidy.

Nicholas (9/5): Superb - Overall the rooms are exactly what you need, and of high quality. Fridge, large new TV, comfortable bed, and spacious enough for my long term stay. Feels like an in between Hotel & hostel experience, with only private rooms. The shared bathroom and showers were clean every single time I used for all 30 days of my stay, cleaned daily by housekeeping. Kitchen was also cleaned by housekeeping and in good shape. Host was responsive and kind. The location is out of their control, however within 6 mins of walking you are in a much better area of SF. No crime or anything i witnessed or experienced, just high number of homeless shelters on the street. Large police presence however as well so felt safe.

No parking but I was using Ubers and public transport. In general it’s better to have your wits about you and whether in Europe, LA, Seattle, etc. Super clean but if you get cold at night use the heater ofr ask for more blankets.

They do have rooms without bathrooms so make sure to book a room with a personal bathroom otherwise there’s a community bathroom in the hallway. The donut shop and food next-door is delicious and slaps. It’s walking distance to the Bill Graham.

Lacee (1/5): I will never stay here again. I wouldn't even stay here for free. So much mold EVERYWHERE! - Nothing. As soon as we walked into the room all we could smell is mold. The bathroom was completely covered in mold. There is no way it's safe to stay in that hotel. We had to park 3 blocks away to the closest parking garage. There is no elevators in this hotel. We had to walk 4 flights of stairs just to get to our room. The room was completely covered in mold. The owner told us we were getting our deposit back, still haven't received it.

The front desk young man very polite and friendly. The parking. They don’t have parking and the public parking around the corner charged us $40 from 10pm to next day 12pm.

Dara (8/5): Great rooms and central location, unfortunately a pretty rough neighbourhood and no parking. - The room was very clean and comfortable, all appliances etc looked very new. The TV was huge and the mini fridge was cute! The bed was extremely comfortable. All of the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Not the hotel's fault, but the neighbourhood is very sketchy and even the cafe attached, which we had vouchers for, was pretty rough and I wasn't happy to bring my daughter around the surrounding streets. The only other thing is, the room has a fan rather than aircon and the fan is so loud I really couldn't leave it on. You can open the windows but there's obviously a lot of street noise as well.

It was in a very ideal location proximity wise to downtown, the shopping plaza and other ideal locations, there were some homeless in the area but no different than other parts of downtown

Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful stay for Travelling - It was a wonderful stay! I went with three girls in total, and we felt safe the entire time. We were greeted by a very nice receptionist that took care of us the entire trip, and the breakfast staff were incredibly friendly as well. The room and lobby was clean, and the dining area was incredibly cute. I reccomend staying at this hotel to anyone visiting, for the price it cannot be beat. It was super close to various stores like Walgreens and public transportation, perfect for travelling.
Uyenchi (10/5): Terrific Hotel - While the hotel was not in a great location and it could get loud outside (Ironically, I chose this hotel because I needed to be at that location), the hotel itself was fantastic. Jay at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The room was extremely clean, tidy, and comfortable. If I need to come back to this location, I will definitely stay here again.
April (10/5): - Ram’s is located a block and a half from my school and has a cafe on the corner that has good lattes and food. The hotel has wood shutters that take away a good deal of downtown noise and the fan and heater are perfect for any adjustments I need to handle with SF weather. The staff is friendly and the beds are comfortable. I stay here every time I come to town.

No spare bedding for pull out beds which were uncomfortable. Due to late check in we had to wait until the next day. Area was really bad, people in balaclavas and homeless people constantly directly outside the property. Felt very unsafe at night.

My room was noisy due to window onlooking street plus some goings on each night. Still San Fran is very expensive now and I was on a Budget. Still cost $262 for two nights, hardly cheap.

Lidia (4/5): Will not stay here again. Decent if just passing through. - The bed was comfortable. Close to concert location. Working sink in the room. When we arrived to the location we rang the doorbell which led to a staircase that smelled like urine. At check in, the staff wanted to charge the room again even though I paid in full through booking, I refused to pay again and after checking she saw that it was paid but still asked me to sign the paper with the room fee. I refused to sign the paper so she printed out a new one without the fee. SHARED BATHROOMS - when checking in the staff said the rooms in our floor all share a bathroom and stated that it was said on the booking site. BEWARE if you want your own personal bathroom in your room you will have to pay extra. Thankfully we just stayed for one night. No central air conditioning/ heating. When we walked in the room the windows were wide open so smoke from the people smoking outside was coming in. There’s no ventilation other than the windows. There was a fan on the wall that was assumed to keep the room cool. The heating option was a portable heater. No microwave. No coffee maker. PARKING- there is no parking. Even the parking garage that they claim to be around the corner is only open week days so if you’re staying on a weekend it will be closed. Parking is not ideal as you can only park on the street on certain days at certain hours.

Room was great, had its own shower and clean, but the hallways smell really bad, I assume it’s because it’s old. Simon (8/5): It was a great stay inside the hotel and I would probably stay here again if given the chance - The staff was very friendly, the shared bathrooms were never dirty and were kept very clean. Upon arriving and checking in the person at the desk gave us vouchers for a free breakfast sandwich at the restaurant located under the hotel (which we ate at every day). In the room they have a vanity sink whish had amazing lighting to do makeup and check our outfits in. A short walk down either direction brought you to some fantastic restaurants and about a five minute walk to a Walgreens. The location is not the worst in San Fransisco, but it is far from amazing. The area outside had many homeless people and people who seemed to be collecting money in exchange for small white baggies. The entry way smelled of urine as the door next to it was used as bathroom. This not something that the hotel can control but it is something to consider. We were never bothered by any people, and I never felt unsafe as there are "Community Ambassadors" at the Corners of nearby intersections.

We also liked the wooden shutter for the window that helped keep light and sound out from the street at night. We didn’t like the musty smell from the carpets that filled the whole hotel during our stay. We also didn’t like that the front door of the hotel was in a sketchy side of the street that wasn’t well-lit at night.
Vincent (7/5): Ram's Hotel - lots of homeless around - Modern room facilities, a little bit squishy, good for a few nights stay, very comfy bed. The location is across from what appears to be a city mission for homeless, so the homeless are everywhere on the street.
Clemens (3/5): The location is the hotels biggest problem - Just the guys at the beakery where you get the breakfast The location - lots of homeless and junkies + dealers. Because of the noise at night you won't get any sleep.

Steven (9/5): Great value in SF - My family stayed in 2 rooms, both were very clean with comfortable beds and attached bathrooms. The staff was very friendly and professional, they readily let us leave our luggage after checkout for free. There is also pretty good sandwich shop on the corner.

Rachael (8/5): Cozy and comfortable! - The building itself was quiet and the staff were very accommodating so thank you! Would definitely recommend to others as it was a great value for $. The bed was super comfortable and we liked that there was a space heater as the room was cold. Mini fridge was cute. We wished the cafe downstairs was a bit more welcoming. There is nowhere to sit and because of the location we didn't feel comfortable being there. The bathroom could have been cleaned better as the floor was dirty and there was pee above the toilet handle. The hairdryer needs replacement as it was sparking when I tried to use it.

Voucher (10/5): it’s not in the ritzy part of town. but it is a couple minutes walk from Civic BART station .. so it was perfect for us - vey clean. and the nicest thing was rhw staff. they were very welcoming and kind after a long journey
Mio (8/5): Bus and Value for money. - The clean room, shower and toilet. The bed was comfortable. There are shared microwave and toaster. Also washing machine and dryer. Starbucks coffee for the coffee machine. Not a good location as many homeless people are around, especially after dark.

Yu-wen (6/5): The owner is extremely nice! Great location to take bus anywhere but horrible neighborhood.. If you’re looking for a bud - Nice host. The room is quiet during our stay even it’s located in downtown. I was terrified by the ppl on the street. Some were yelling some were staring at us… Strongly recommend not to walk around there after 8pm. Hot water comes slow.

Dorottya (8/5): Good price and value - Clean rooms, just like pictures and helpful staff. Also, they gave vouchers for breakfast to the bakery next door which was nice and hearty. If you come with a car, ask the reception if they have a pass available to the close-by garage, they offered it to us on a super friendly price and the garage is very safe and close to the hotel. The hotel is just a street away from a bit sketchier part of the city. Their street is still OK but could be a bit scary if you walk back to your accommodation in the evening. Also, just as an FYI, the hotel placed an authorization on my credit card for the first night about 2 weeks before arrival regardless of the free cancelation policy (reverted it only about 8 days later), did the same for the full amount upon check-in (again, reverted 8 days later), but actually charged my card in a different (third) transaction and not in the authorization they already placed. I’ve never had this issue with any other bookings with the same card, so it’s good to know before booking.
Michele (9/5): Superb - Close to the venue we went to so we could walk to dinner and the show. Shower wasn’t very hot. No onsite parking - had to pay $60 to park.

Theodore (6/5): Solid Hotel - Tough Neighborhood - Great for budget travel, just in a very bad part of town. Loud street noise and not safe to walk around at night.
Charlierw (8/5): Very good - I checked in late at night, the staff provided me with a quick and satisfactory solution. Very good reception the next day. I also appreciated being able to leave my bag after check-out in order to visit the city easily. The street was quite noisy
Jasmine (4/5): - It was very difficult to find Parking. On the website it says available parking for $30 off site. This IS FALSE. We called the hotel to give us more information on this $30 parking. when we arrived at that parking structure they told us there was no overnight parking. We had to go to 3 different parking structures just for them to tell us no overnight parking is available. We had to pay $80 for one night at parking away from the hotel. Hotel has NO AC. Very compact.
