• MichiganMelissa04 (8/5): Great location. Room furniture and excessive light at night could use attention room 405 - This is a lovely hotel, walking distance to shopping and dining on 9th street. The folks at the desk were always pleasant. I loved the fruit-infused ice water decanter that was always available in the lobby, though I do wish they offered paper cups instead of plastic. Some minor issues, but nothing major. We thought breakfast was included - but it was not. So we had to stand in a long line and pay just for coffee, etc, in the morning, which was a bummer. But, the silver lining was that it forced us to get up and at ‘em earlier, and we found the Windmill and Bowerman’s on 8th down the street. At the hotel, we loved that our balcony looked out over 8th street. One negative was that the door to the room lets in a lot of light at night, and the smoke detector has these irregularly flashing lights that drove me absolutely crazy when I was struggling to fall asleep. The bathroom has some kind of night light under the counter, which seems great, but all in all it was much too much light for sleeping, for those of us who prefer dark anyway. Another slight issue is that the bathroom counter console and the furniture in the room were slightly beat up, revealing the cheap particle board underneath. That could use repair in room 405. But all in all, it was a comfortable room and we would stay again in a heartbeat.

• Thomas (8/5): Comfortable & Great Location- But You PAY for it. - Loved the location. Very Comfortable and in the Heart of downtown! QUITE EXPENSIVE and they don’t even have free Coffee in the Lobby - let alone Breakfast. Granted, they have personal coffee in the rooms, but if you’re the one up early & y don’t want to wake your spouse- its nice to be able to go to the Lobby & get a cup of coffee. Without going back up to the room to get your wallet.

• EunJi (10/5): - This place is located in the downtown. Very convenient to eat out and shopping. Every thing was squeaky clean. Loved the hot tub.
• Childers (6/5): Pleasant - Room smelled musty, thermostat didn’t work properly. Only blew warm air. Woke up with the temperature set to 67, and it was 79. Had to turn off and open the balcony door.

• danielcN6766SF (10/5): Great friendly experience - The hotel is a newer but standard Courtyard experience. Nick at the front desk was excellent on check-in. The people in the Bistro were very efficient and welcoming on a busy weekend morning. The food was delivered quickly and was great! Location is central in downtown Holland and made the commute to local activities easy

• danb60 (8/5): Great location in downtown Holland - I'm normally a Hilton guy, but this Courtyard has a location that can't be beat. It's right on the "main drag" of Holland downtown, with dozens of restaurants, bars, and shops within a few block radius. I was there in the winter, so there wasn't much hustle bustle. Staff was nice. Rooms are trendy. One elevator was on the fritz. I'll be back.

• BillParker (10/5): Great stay - Attended a family wedding and ended up staying extra days due to snow storms at our home. This hotel was exceptional. Seems new, our room was on the top floor with nice views, couch and king bed. Our Avis car did not have a snow brush so the first two days there was a considerable amount of snow on the cars. Imagine our surprise when we learned that the hotel staff had cleared the snow off all the cars. Their response was, this is what we doin Holland! Breakfast and Starbucks in the lobby were great. As a lifetime titanium we enjoyed the $10.00 per day per person to help cover the cost of the breakfast and coffees. Location is great-short walking distance to the whole downtown. Big E’s Sports Bar is attached to the lobby and we ate there twice.
