Mir war nicht klar, ob das wirklich das gebuchte Executive Zimmer war, denn im TV unter My Room wurde ein anderes Zimmer gezeigt. Das habe ich erst am 4. Tag bemerkt Das Angebot für Lunch/Diner ist unbefriedigend vom Angebot her, als auch preislich. Als wir am Tag der Abreise noch 2 Expressos bestellten, musste ich diese bezahlen. Dies nach einer Hotelrechnung von ca. Fr. 4500!

Pioneer294465 (10/5): A Truly Magical Stay!! - This review is long overdue! My sister and I visited in April 2025 for our annual sister trip. From the moment we arrived, our experience at this elegant hotel was nothing short of magical. Although my sister and I arrived early for check-in, Lola Narici from Guest Relations immediately made us feel at home. She graciously offered us light refreshments, but even more memorable was the genuine warmth of her company. To our absolute delight, we were upgraded to a stunning suite with breathtaking views of the Eiffel Tower. This was an unforgettable surprise that set the tone for our entire stay. What truly made our visit exceptional, however, was Lola’s gracious manner and attention to detail. Her dedication to guest experience are truly outstanding, and she is an invaluable asset to the hotel. I would also like to commend the concierge staff, Lilian and Germain, who were equally attentive and helpful throughout our stay. I was so impressed that my husband and I are already planning to return this August to celebrate our anniversary. I have enthusiastically recommended this hotel to family and friends planning a trip to Paris. All of my highest compliments to Lola. Her work ethic is exceptional, and she deserves every bit of praise.

Destination766985 (10/5): Great Service, Great Room, Great Location - My wife and I stayed 3 nights at the Grand Hotel du Palais Royal in March, 2026. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding and attentive. The concierge had arranged for our visit to the Louvre and came over to give us the tickets as we were checking in. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. We had a light lunch at Cafe 52...great food, great service, relaxed cafe vibe. And we walked to the Louvre...very close to the hotel, but not so close as to be noisy. On subsequent days, we explored different parts of the city nearby, and we ate at several of the restaurants recommended by the concierge...lots of great choices nearby!

The hotel was in the best location, very quiet street even though it's close to everything including steps from the Metro. The staff was all very friendly and able to answer any/every question. The fitness center was very clean as was everything in the hotel. Had a surprise welcome amenity when I arrived which was just icing on the cake of an incredible visit. Highly recommend this hotel!

Nole95 (10/5): Once Again; A Great Stay! - We recently completed our second stay at the Grand Hotel du Palais Royal, and once again we had a wonderful experience. Our last stay was almost two years ago. During the check in process, the staff immediately welcomed us back and went above and beyond to recognize that we had been past guests. This is top notch service. The staff throughout the stay were all very welcoming and helpful. After checking in, we wanted someplace quick and easy for lunch. The concierge gave us a great recommendation the next block over. We enjoyed it so much that we went back for dinner our last evening. As others have mentioned, the location is unbeatable. There is a metro stop (1 and 7) two minutes away and plenty of wine bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. All in all, a wonderful experience from a hotel and staff that knows how to take care of its guests.

Love the Steam room and breakfast. This hotel is close to a lot of sights and restaurants and the Galleria Lafayette, Place Vendome, Les Halle……etc… excellent location especially if you enjoy walking and exploring! E5244HXbriant (10/5): A Grand stay at the Grand Hotel du Palais Royal - We just got back from a wonderful trip to Paris. A crucial part of what makes a great stay is having a great hotel. The Grand Hotel du Palais Royal was a very exceptional and memorable experience for us. It was my first time in Paris and the staff really made it a very easy and enjoyable trip. From the first staffperson we worked with, Safira, to the several concierege, Germain, Christopher, and Lilian, to the restaurant wait staff to Lola, the customer relations manager, everyone was very helpful, attentive, and kind. The check in process was quick and easy. Our room was clean and ready for us before our scheduled check in time. Room cleaning and room service were excellent as well. We stayed on the 5th floor. Our floor may not have been very busy, but if it was, we wouldn't have known as we didn't hear anything. Serverl times, we needed assistance with directions and scheduling siteseeing. We received great help at each step. The tip to use the carousel entrance for the Lourve was spot on and very helpful, considering the alternative of standing in the rain. Another helpful feature, which may be common at other hotels, but was still great, was the ability to message a WhatsApp number for questions I had. At one point, I was short on time and had asked if retrieving some butter from a nearby store was possible and to my surprise, they were willing to go to the store for us. When it was time to leave, the concierege helped us with a 2-stop taxi trip to the airport. I am very grateful for how the staff treated us on our stay. I will certainly stay at this hotel the next time we are in Paris. The price was very reasonable. I recommend that you try this hotel as well. Brian T.
sarahmG5040UO (10/5): 10/10 Highly recommended! Concierge is Exceptional - I stayed at the Grand Hotel du Palais Royal from February 2 - February 8 with a work colleague/friend. We were in Paris for shopping, sight seeing and professional social media content for my boutique. Upon arrival, the front desk staff was welcoming and provided coffee during our check in. We were early (it was 10am and check in isn’t until 3pm) so the staff kindly offered us the use of the spa and showers to freshen up before we went out for the day. We were able to leave our luggage (it was delivered to our room, where we found it upon our return). We were surprised to have been upgraded from the small room I booked, to suite 402, which had multiple balconies, a massive bathroom, a living area with sofa, desk and coat closet, and separate bedroom — all overlooking the Emily in Paris office. Throughout our stay, the concierge (Pierre-Jean and Germain) went way above and beyond to make our visit exceptional. Pierre-Jean even purchased and delivered two extra suitcases for us to use on our return flight. We enjoyed the bar in the evening, and the breakfast buffet was very good. The First Arr. was perfect for our stay — picturesque, in the center of the city, easy access to the metro, lots of restaurants within walking distance, but not too crowded. I cannot express how grateful and happy we felt with our experience at Grand Hotel du Palais Royal. We will most definitely stay here again very soon. 10/10. Most highly recommended.

Walkable to shops & cafes. - A beautiful boutique hotel with such friendly and welcoming staff. Our room was gorgeous with a balcony and lovely courtyard views. Their restaurant offered a breakfast buffet, and dinner in the evening. My daughter and I loved their Truffel Mushroom Risotto! A cute little bar separate from the restaurant was perfect for a nightcap. Helen at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure that our every need was met, and Pierre Jean was the consummate concierge.
kristinib (10/5): Nice hotel near the Louvre - Hotel is nice. In Feb, it’s cold and can rain often, but it’s a great time to visit bc so few people are there. Clara, at the front desk, was very helpful and responsive, which was appreciated…as was Juliette (I believe that’s her name if remembering correctly- we’ve been traveling fir a few weeks around Spain and France) and offered champagne and then helped with our luggage upon arrival. She was nice and helpful. Thank you to both ladies! Hotel is right near the Louvre. Keep in mind this past week on Tues, the Louvre was closed. Maybe it’s closed on most Tuesdays so it might help to check in advance (we didn’t). Property is part of the Hilton family so points can be used and includes water daily, later check out (at noon), daily breakfast to include eggs (not on the buffet but can be ordered off a part of the menu), and a possible upgraded room. Note: hotel courtyard is where ‘Emily in Paris’ show on Netflix was filmed. Didn’t know this when we booked but was fun to learn.

Very attentive, the concierge was very helpful in restaurant recommendations as well as most importantly getting us tickets to Louvre Eiffel Tower, Sainte Chapelle last min when we were not able to get ourselves. The rooms are small however we were never there except to sleep and shower. I would pick to stay again

Arie (5/5): A disappointment - Close to the Louvre, rooms were clean and staff friendly The first morning I was there the geysers failed so we could not shower or bath! The second day at 2a.m. the fire alarm went off and we all had to go down to the lobby with a blaring alarm which turned out to be a false alarm. Did they apologise for any of this? Hardly! I would imagine that they should offer us breakfast on the house or something but no - just an indignant 'it was not our fault' In addition, and this is supposedly a 5 star hotel, there was no laundry service on a Sunday! All this for 500 euros a night. There are much better hotels for the same price. Rather go elsewhere.

We chose the Eiffel Tower Suite, and at my request the hotel made our arrival magical — balloons, flowers, and treats were waiting in the room, beautifully arranged. The team truly went above and beyond to make the celebration feel special. The concierge staff was exceptional, offering wonderful restaurant recommendations and seamlessly helping us adjust reservations throughout our stay. The hotel’s location can’t be matched — just steps from the Louvre and Tuileries Garden — making it easy to explore Paris! And the breakfast spread is absolutely delicious!

It is walking distance to many historic sights.. The hotel is small and intimate and very calm and quiet. Nights are particularly quiet allowing great sleep. The room accommodations are comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast served in the dining room is both delicious and bountiful with many choices. The staff is top notch. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Lola Naciri , guest relations and the Conceirge staff were outstanding . I look forward to my next visit. I highly recommend this hotel

Peter (6/5): Lovely neighborhood and location but, overall, hotel was less than I would have expected. - Staff was pleasant, room ready for early arrival. The location is very nice for the things we were interested in doing. Room was small, bed was not a "king" as listed. The bathroom was lovely but very dysfunctional with an open shower, a "rainfall" head that essentially did not work and a hand held shower at hip level. The entire bathroom was a wet mess every time we would;ld shower.

Das Personal ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Betten waren wunderbar. Leider recht teuer, ist aber bei solchem Hotel leider normal.

RJKCD (10/5): Great personalized service! - This hotel far exceeded my expectations! We normally stay at prince de galles but wanted to use some of my Hilton points. Was quite apprehensive at first at it seemed to be a boutique hotel, but I was so pleasantly surprised. From the way they decorated our room for our wedding anniversary (not to mention the free room upgrade; thank you!), to the daily messages from their team asking if everything was okay, their personalized service is top notch. Thank you for taking great care of us. We loved our week long stay. We will certainly come back!

Laurieslife (10/5): PRESTIGE SUITE 602 A WONDERFUL STAY - PRESTIGE SUITE 602 This exquisite hotel is in the perfect location. Next to the Palace Royal and extremely close to the Tulieries Gardens and the Louvre , walking distance to the Champs Élysées. Fun fact, Emily in Paris is filmed in the same plaza. Our Prestige Suite was incredibly well appointed with a walk in closet, separate bedroom (with balcony) nice marble bathroom (big soaking tub with a separate shower and excellent amenities) . The living room has a nice couch, desk etc, and a large round window (which swivels to open) allowing for incredible views. Actually there are gorgeous views from every room and of many monuments (inclusive of the Eiffel Tower) This is very quiet hotel, no ambient noise in our suite. It is extremely clean and everything is well taken care of. What stands out is the art on the walls of each floor, simply outstanding. Ensuite I truly loved the ability to make a cup of herbal tea at night and appreciated that the hotel seemed to think of everything. BUT there secret sauce is the staff. All exceptional. We’d suffered a loss to our family on our third night and I was devastated. While cancelling a dinner reservation at the hotel, Safara ( spelling?) came outside while I was crying in my husband’s arms with a Kleenex box and said how sorry everyone at the hotel was and how they’d do anything to alleviate my pain. Incredibly sweet. This was our seventh stay in Paris and our first at this luxurious establishment. We will now call it our Paris home.

tubulus (8/5): Great location, but there are better 5* around. - Short stay here in adjoining rooms. I'm not going to nitpick on our choice of rooms (first floor, fairly dark) or price since we booked pretty last minute. Decor felt a bit tired, lots of yellows, dark carpeted room, ceiling not very high for Paris. We could hear some other rooms/hall noise at night. Bathrooms were good and well-designed (no water spraying everywhere like you often get in Paris). Beds were comfortable and the HVAC system worked well to keep the room comfortable. Not enough charging ports. Location obviously excellent, quiet side street near a very busy area, a few meters to the entrance to the 1 metro at the Louvre. Breakfast on the lower end for 5* Paris hotels, not much fruit available, pastries weren't great, weirdly a la carte eggs were included in our included breakfast, but pancakes/crepes were not (had room credits anyway, but it was weird). Scrambled eggs and omelettes were not good at all, almost tasted like US-style egg mix (sacre bleu!) Overall, didn't feel like it was up to the same level of other 5* non-Palace hotels, there are better options even within the HIlton/SLH ecosystem especially if you don't need to be right in the center of Paris.

dougw2023 (10/5): Parisian Gem - There is no shortage of fine hotels in Paris, so when you find one that does everything well, with quintessential Parisian charm, pluperfect service, and location, location, location, there is no need to shop around. The Grand Hotel du Palais is a gem, with a drop dead roof-top terrace. The service is par excellent, and a special Hat Tip to Ms. Lola Neciri in guest services, who delighted in making our son's stay delightful.
