Luis (10/5): - Acabámos de regressar de uns dias na Torre de Gomariz e a palavra de ordem é: sossego. Se procuram um sítio para desligar do mundo, este é o lugar certo. Toda a área envolvente transmite uma paz incrível, ideal para carregar baterias. Mal chegamos, percebemos logo que íamos ser bem entregues. A limpeza é impecável e a simpatia dos funcionários faz-nos sentir em casa desde o primeiro minuto. Um destaque especial para o pessoal do restaurante, que além de super profissional, é de uma amabilidade extrema. Acabámos por jantar lá 2 vezes. Excelente confeção da comida a preços justos. Para quem gosta de relaxar, a zona do Spa é obrigatória. Está tudo muito bem cuidado e a temperatura da água estava simplesmente perfeita. O jacuzzi, a sauna e o banho turco são o combo ideal para o final do dia. Aberto até às 22:00. Ficámos rendidos à Quimera, cadela Bernese , que é a coisa mais linda e simpática que já vimos. Além disso, a zona da cavalariça é de visita obrigatória: ver mais de uma dezena de cavalos tão bem tratados e bonitos é um verdadeiro privilégio. Saímos com o coração cheio e já a pensar na próxima visita. Recomendamos muito!

Helena (6/5): Serviço não corresponde a 5 estrelas - O verde, o espaço e a vista dos quartos. Primeiro, o facto de não ter tudo concentrado num único edifício. Acredito que no Verão possa ser agradável, mas em tempo de chuva é algo que condiciona completamente a experiência. Termos de sair dos quartos, à chuva, para passar para o spa, para o restaurante, para o bar ou até para a receção, que fica na outra ponta do hotel, é muito desagradável. Outro aspeto negativo a realçar foi o valor que cobram por um compal (tamanho de copo), que custou 5€. No pequeno-almoço, de realçar que o facto de não terem as opções quentes (bebidas, panquecas, ovos, bacon) em self service, condicionou bastante a refeição. Isto porque pedimos duas meias de leite, mas demoraram tanto tempo a chegar que nem conseguimos acompanhar com as torradas (que acabamos por comer para não arrefecer). Creio que se colocassem máquinas de bebida self service, assim como optarem por ter os ovos já prontos nos devidos recipientes aquecidos (que já estavam no espaço, mas vazios), seria bem mais rápido. No quarto, o chuveiro vertia água pra outras áreas e o lavatório estava entupido, ficava sempre com água. Acredito que para um serviço 5 estrelas, estes são aspetos importantes a ter em conta uma melhoria.

Tina (10/5): Fantastisk Hotel - Fantastisk hotel, kæmpestore lækre værelser med privat terresse og udsigt til haven, pool vinmarkerne. Stort badeværelse med både kar og brusekabine. Super lækker morgenmad, skøn vinbar og frokostrestaurant, rigtig god restaurant, stort udvalg af mad til roomservice, lækker spa-afdeling. Service helt i top. Kan varmt anbefales. Vi har boet på hotellet to gange, og kommer gerne igen.

La botella de bienvenida un acierto y unas vistas maravillosas desde el hotel No hay nada que me disgustara personalmente . El desayuno estaba guay pero por el precio del hotel esperaba que tuviera más variedad.

vanhoskier (10/5): A little slice of heaven nestled in a charming northern Portugal parish - We first stayed at Torre de Gomariz in September of 2024 and fell in love with the hospitality, comfort, and tranquility. We left to visit Nazaré but missed Torre de Gomariz so we drove back north for a few more days! The rooms are lovely with the most comfy beds and pillows, and luxurious baths. Wine and chocolate were delivered to our room. We returned this May after a stressful trip in northern Spain and it felt like coming home. Staff remembered the wine we liked and delivered a bottle to our room upon arrival! The breakfasts and dinners are amazing. The saltwater pool overlooking the vineyard is my favorite relaxation spot in Portugal. This hotel offers the best of northern Portugal’s hospitality, food, and wine. Braga, Barcelos, Esposende beach and Ponte de Lima are just a short drive away. But make sure you spend a day or two or three just relaxing!
Roy (10/5): RURAL HEAVEN - Returning to Torre de Gomariz Wine & Spa Hotel was an absolute delight, and this time, I had the pleasure of surprising my wife with this rural escape. Nestled in the serene countryside, the hotel offers a sense of peace and tranquility that is truly unmatched. The open, expansive views are breathtaking – rolling vineyards, lush greenery, and a horizon that seems to stretch forever. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel a world away from the everyday hustle. What really sets Torre de Gomariz apart, though, is the staff. They are super friendly yet incredibly professional, striking the perfect balance between warmth and attentiveness. Every interaction felt personal and genuine, which made our stay even more memorable. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the evening meal. The dining experience was nothing short of Michelin-starred perfection. Every dish was an art form, with exquisite flavors and attention to detail that left us savoring every bite. It’s rare to find food that’s as much a feast for the eyes as it is for the palate, but this was exactly that. The rural charm of the hotel, combined with its luxury and refinement, makes it a truly special destination. Whether you’re looking to relax, indulge, or simply enjoy the beauty of the Portuguese countryside, Torre de Gomariz delivers on all fronts. A heartfelt thank you to the incredible team for making our stay so extraordinary. We’ll treasure these memories and absolutely look forward to returning once again. N/A

ThomasK732 (10/5): Charming and romantic - Outstanding 5-star hotel in a historic building surrounded by vineyards. The hotel offers all the amenities that guests expect in this category. The spa area includes a heated indoor pool, sauna and steam bath. An additional room with fitness equipment would be desirable, but is not available. In the hotel restaurant, we enjoyed a menu that would have earned a Michelin star. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and good, but should offer a little more for a 5-star hotel. In addition to the main restaurant, there is a second restaurant which is open throughout the day and offers smaller dishes. The rooms are scrupulously clean and luxuriously furnished. Just a note, not a criticism: the guest houses in which the rooms are located are about 250 meters from the central building. So you have to take a walk outside on stairs to get to breakfast. This didn't bother us, we are fit and had an umbrella. However, it could be a problem for guests with disabilities.
Holger (8/5): Abgelegen aber empfehlenswert - Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Hotel, mit einem sensationellen Frühstück. Allerdings wäre es nach unseren Erfahrungen kein 5* Sterne Hotel. Das bezieht sich insbesondere auf die Zimmer, die sehr hellhörig sind und wo ein gewisser Comfort fehlt. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und professionell. Das Restaurant ist durchaus gut und empfehlenswert.
Beverley (10/5): - From the moment we arrived, we felt and saw the wow factor. The hotel is beautiful, the bedrooms are large and the bathrooms are large as well. The breakfast was delicious with so many choices. Our dinner menu was excellent and the food was delicious. The wines were top notch, we absolutely loved all the wines on offer. Everything was perfect. Even on wet mornings, umbrellas were left outside bedroom doors. Can’t fault this wonderful hotel. We will definitely go back. Thank you for making our stay soo pleasurable.

Inspire68558137530 (10/5): Loved this Hotel/ Spa - I absolutely Loved this Spa Hotel! It was nice and quiet. The grounds were beautiful. They have bikes available for you. Rooms are nice and clean. Staff was exceptional. I witnessed a very arrogant, demanding family and the staff handled them professionally and with as much patience as humanly possible. They were complaining about not having a newspaper every morning and an elevator?? American Arrogance! I'd put money on it they were East Coast lol I apologized on behalf of America lol I guess they missed the part is used to be a Tower which is still standing. And my favorite was the Chapel on the grounds. The food unfortunately wasn't the greatest and there is no real options in that area so we end up going to Braga for food allot. Other than that it's a must stay!

Diana (10/5): - Hotel in which you can appreciate the local architecture, with a 5 star restaurant, beautiful views, but the most important thing was the friendliness and service offered by its staff. Bravo for the excellent team they have in this hotel. As for the facilities there are things to improve, such as air conditioning. Our room temperature was not as cold as we expected, especially because the room received all day sunlight (which we love), however the administration provided us with a portable AC which solved our situation.

Excellent restaurants, one for a light lunch and a real high end dining place, with lovely views over the vineyard. Not often had the pleasure of having real good food at a hotel!

I missed more amenities top quality or a well known cosmetic brand aince it's a 5* hotel. I expect quality and luxury. Maybe the room service should be more complete and include salad..

trippero2022 (10/5): Best Stay Ever! - We stayed for 10 days in the Tower bc of a family event in Braga. The setting is magnificent, the food and drink are fantastic, and the service level and friendliness of staff is truly the best we have experienced anywhere. Highly recommended!
