Holly (8/5): - Good price and everything you might need but at minimal quality. The only thing was I couldn’t get the air conditioner to go at a lower rate and it was pretty cold all night. Long staff were just really kind though nice clean breakfast area.

James (8/5): Great surprise. - I was a but surprised since I didn't know what to expect. There's a TA truck stop across the street and a small convenience store next door with a Subway that is 24 hours which was a plus. It doesn't look like much, but it was quiet, clean, and AC worked REAL well. I actually had to raise the temp a bit because it was cold in the room. 95° outside, I was very happy about that. The gentleman that checked me in was friendly and quick about getting me a room. Don't let the exterior fool you. This is actually a good place to stay.

Nancy (6/5): - This facility was directly across from where I gassed up and I was very tired, so I decided to stay. I booked thru a 3rd party booking service (expedia), while I was eating a bite also across the street. At check in the clerk gave me a paper to initial and was quite short with me when I questioned her about it, stating that that was how she got paid and to just sign it. I didn't understand and questioned her further and stated to her that I was trying to understand since I thought I had already paid for the room. Not really the kind of customer service I am accustomed to. Kindness counts always! Bed was fine and the bathroom was nicely tiled. Hot shower and room was basically clean. Check the frig. some leftovers were in there, not mine.
Victor (10/5): - Well, everything was clean, the shower was good and hot, the A/C was good and cold, the bed was good and comfortable, the TV had plenty of channels even though I slept through most of it. No bugs, no brats, no noise. I've been here several times, its getting better.

We checked in very late and the gentleman at the front counter called me personally to ensure we were still on our way, which was very kind. He was extremely helpful and pleasant from the very beginning. The room was very clean and tidy. It’s along the freeway so there is some noise, but that’s just where the location is located and you know that going into it. Earplugs deaden it all if that’s a problem. It’s not their fault. Room was very nice and tidy. We would easily stay there again and the price was excellent for the area as our options were limited with steel plant turn arounds happening. Had no idea there was a continental breakfast too in the morning. We’ve stayed at hotels twice the price not as nice and clean. Hope that helps others in the their choice. Our experience was wonderful!

Pressed the issue twice after returning again to the night 'window' only to not communicate again and be handed a BATH MAT to use. Told it was truly a towel for "body cleansing." Too road weary at 11:30pm to try a third time. Aarrgghh. Ridiculous. Ice machine conveniently out of order... Sink bowl was clean but the 1-cup coffee maker countertop area was dusty and hair dryer dusty and grimy. Definitely chose not to use it. Wiped down what we could with Kleenexes. Didn't want to use the 1/2 roll of toilet paper we were gifted. No thanks. Bedsheets thankfully were clean although blanket and bedspread had cigarette burns. A/C was luckily working pretty well after a couple hours, as well as the mini fridge. Yay! Got a couple hours of needed shut-eye although too firm for us, and the 3 of us had a warm shower with 2 out of 3 thin towels. We've read nice reviews BUT all-in-all for us we did not feel welcome nor appreciated. Sad. The owners appear to run a very tight, somewhat skimpy, limited budget and give guests little choice but to do without. With this @#
! inflation, we're unable to stay at our usual next level 2** hotels on a longggg 2,000 mile road trip at 2x the price today vs 2 years ago! Also very sad and disgusting. ... Do you hear me Washington??!!
Patricia (2/5): - The minute that we open our vehicle door swarms of mosquitoes flew inside. And then, of course, they flew inside our room. Which had rust everywhere, including on the luggage rack! Which was covered with rust!

It was fairly quiet for being very close to interstate and truck stop across the street. Everything else was average or less. The person at the check-in was helpful. The best part was convenient to the interstate.
Sonia (2/5): MALARIA HAVEN. - The room was infested with BIG mosquitoes. I requested a refund. They offered me some bug spray. How can I fumigate a room, not open a door or window for ventilation & sleep in there. He asked me did I open the door. Of course I opened the door. I had to go in.

Verified traveler (6/5): A place to sleep and little else - This was a very barebones stay. They didn’t have Wi-Fi and instead of being open about it they kept telling us the internet would be back up “in five minutes” all night long. I unexpectedly had to pay cash upon check in which should have been my first red flag. The rooms were ok, clean enough, although the toilet hadn’t been flushed when we entered our room and all the metal (place to hang clothes, lamp bases, etc) were rusted over. Also, they don’t have breakfast offerings despite the listing claiming otherwise. They said they have asked hotels.com to correct this although I question if that’s really happened. If you just need a place to stay for the night it’s fine enough, just don’t expect any bells or whistles.

Ray W. (4/5): - The first time I stayed at this hotel on this same trip was pretty good. Room was pretty good. Downstairs, parked my truck directly in front of room. Did not have trailer yet. Coming back through I stayed again at the same hotel. They had to put me in another room because the first one I tried when I got there this time was upstairs, and it should not have been rented out. Could not get any lights to come on, the chair was falling apart, super hard to get the door open, even when the key worked. It was super late when I got to town and I was tired and had to walk back and forth to my truck and to the office to get into a room that was satisfactory!! I will not stay at this hotel again. I would rather sleep in my truck!!!!
Verified traveler (6/5): Inexpensive stay - For an inexpensive quick sleep this is an okay place to stay. The room had a musty smell and the bed wasn’t great. However, a cheap place to stay, a good clean shower and that’s pet friendly, it does the job.

Kathy (8/5): Quiet spot outside Memphis - Easy to find, just off of I-40. Area felt a bit industrial, but safe. Check in was with a sweet lady who was helpful to chat with. The room was recently updated, clean and comfortable. A/C worked great, as did the WiFi. There’s exterior maintenance that probably should be addressed—some of the outside stairs that had rust & crumbling concrete—but didn’t affect my stay. Disappointed that their listing says continental breakfast, but they don’t offer it (Covid related)…that influenced my decision to book here before I knew it wasn’t offered.

Laura (8/5): A few issues - Overall, it was a good experience. A few down points was the lack of housekeeping coming by. We ran out of towels and TP and garbage was overflowing in our rooms. I also had to fix a nonstop running toilet. On our final night there, an adjoining room decided to smoke stink weed at midnight til 2am, so needless to say, our room stank so bad because it came thru the vents and we didn't have a working room phone to complain at that time. Otherwise, it was a nice place.

Kennedy (6/5): The whole truth - Communication/Communicability: difficult to say the least and short, abrupt responses prior to staying Cleanliness: The place is not that busy so you would think they could at least have their housekeepers spent time doing deep cleaning. That's never been done. All surfaces around the edges, on the window ledges, behind doors etcetera were filthy. They apparently took down a tree and when I arrived it was all over the parking lot. They did decide to clean it up that night but that meant running a leaf blower at 9:30 at night right outside people's doors so that was odd. My experience was poor enough that I packed up after the 1st day and hoped to find another place to stay and not return. When I did end up coming back that evening, my room had been cleaned but I discovered they didn't replace the bed spread, not sure if they do that between guests or not. They also did not bring me any towels. As to cleaning, it was very minimal. Certainly not a quality clean. Overall, the place is just completely run down and poorly taken care of. The drain in the bathroom sink did not work. The draperies did not close properly to allow for privacy. The door was difficult to open. The bed was practically a bowl.

Joyell (8/5): Ehh - Booked with Hotels.com app and thought I paid for room on app since I entered my card info. Got to the hotel at 3am after being broke down in my work truck on the side of the highway for 9 hours. Called hotel 3 times to make sure they understood that it was going to be a very late check in, they assured me it would be fine. Finally get to hotel to be informed that they cancelled my reservation when I didn’t check in by midnight even though I had called them once after midnight. I booked the room at $54 but ended up having to pay $66 for the night. Room was clean but steps going up to the 2nd level are a little sketchy. Probably won’t stay there again.

Angela (4/5): Get what you pay for - Definitely got what I paid for. I read reviews that said rooms had been redone but the one I got looked like everything was from 1970s garage sales. Smelled horribly like smoke, the bedspread even had cigarette burns and I found a lighter under the bed. Bathtub looked old and rusty. The bathroom vent was falling off, and there was a crack in the ceiling. I stayed the night because it was cheap and the sheets at least looked clean.

Deborah (8/5): 1 night stay - It is an older hotel, but the bathroom had been remodeled. There were plenty of plugs for charging our electronic devices. The room was clean. When I booked the hotel on hotels.com the only non smoking room choice was with 2 queen beds so I took the room. When I got to the hotel, they offered me a room with 1 king bed, which was what we really wanted. There was no breakfast. The room had a coffee maker, microwave & fridge. This was a 1 night stay on our way to Knoxville.

Pubes left on toliet. was charged 65 for the room which is crazy, its a 40 dollar room at best. List goes on and on. The only good thing about it was its not in memphis. Verified traveler (2/5): - i had booked this place for a stop for my parents trip back to ny. price was good reviews were that bad. my parents got there and the guy at the check in wouldnt talk to my mom even though the room was booked in her name , only would speak to my dad..they got the room and the door handle fell off , a non smoking room smelled like smoke and there was no hot water , my parents went down to complain to that guy and he didnt care they said he was rude and made them feel uneasy how he spoke to older people . they didnt fix the door nor would give them a new room they used a chair to prop inside to prevent anyone from entering. then my father messaged me earlier this morning saying there was no breakfast as advertised , he had to carry the microwave to an outlet to use it .. the outlet was a fire hazard it wasnt in the wall and there were wires exposed. and they also found condoms in the bedroom too. when they checked out they wanted to bring these concerns to manger but there was noone there for checkout in the morning so they left the key as told the night before. i contacted expedia who contacted the hotel and they basically told them to shove it and that the hotel told them to tell me "to go to the hotel and talk to them directly " and that " i can get at the hotel " or call them .. so i did call them a guy pick up as soon as the phone rang ... he played dumb or maybe he was idk.... when i told him the situation he was trying to deflect and said that expedia didnt call the
Ronald (10/5): Fresh rooms - Room was clean all appliances were working great
Victor (10/5): a real nice place to stay for the night. - A real nice place, the staff was friendly & helpful, it was clean & smelled good, easy to get to from the highway.
Alta (8/5): - It was late when we got there. The office was clean. Had restrooms right there that was was nice and clean. But the curtains were terrible. Made the place look shabby. They were to short hanging on sheets that Wes torn and raggedy
Sonny (8/5): Travel for business - It was a far out from Memphis but it was a good stay nonetheless for the price
Gerald (8/5): NO CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST - NO CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. They are still using the Covid excuse. Clean room. Matress was firmer than i cared for. Easy check in

John (8/5): Perfectly fine - This was a perfectly fine stop on a long drive across country. The building is a bit worn, but my room was clean and comfortable.
