I especially like how clean it smells throughout the hotel. the rooms are spotless and the bed is more comfortable than most hotels that I've stayed at in Dilley. Other hotels offer free breakfast too, but there is always a fight over who gets the last strip of bacon. Those other hotels rarely have anyone refill breakfast items when they are all eaten. I never have that problem when I stay at this Best Western in Dilley.

- TxTravler65 (10/5): Very clean and quiet - We throughly enjoyed our one night stay at the Best Western in Dilley, TX. We did encounter a problem with our hotel room door not locking, but we were transferred to another room on the same floor within 20-30 minutes. We were made to feel welcome and all the staff that we encountered were nice and friendly. We felt this to be a safe location. Clean, well lit outside and the room was clean. The bedding was clean and so was the bathroom. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

- 16London (2/5): I do not recommend this place! - I go to a hotel to sleep on a decent bed. Everything else is secondary. The beds here are extremely soft pillow tops. This is not luxury for me. A temper pedi is my idea of luxury. I had to take the cushions off of the sofa and chair, place them on the floor and there I slept. The woman operating this place had no idea about the mattresses. Wow! I HAD A MISERABLE STAY AND ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND!

- Craig (1/5): One of the worst hotels we've ever stayed in. - Nothing, keep driving and don't waste your money. Walking into the hotel it smelled of old cigarettes and the floor tiling looked dirty. As we proceeded to the elevator the elevator panel looked like it had been punched. Then the elevator itself was very dirty and slow. When we walked into our room we immediately noticed an empty water bottle laying on the bed. Upon closer inspection we see that there is burned residue and such on the bed. The white comforter was so dirty that it was brown. Someone had been doing drug in the room. We asked for another room. We received another room; however, it was still not as clean as a hotel should be. Everything was covered in a film and dust. The beds were clean enough that we stayed, but the next morning we discovered that the shower didn't work. No water would come out at all. We sought some coffee out so we could get back on the road. Well, the automatic coffee dispenser didn't work. After the uncleanliness of the rest of the hotel we were too afraid for our health to try the breakfast. The front desk clerk did not offer apologies. Even for my ID being left down at the front counter when we had checked in. Just don't.....keep driving.

- Katharine (4/5): Not the best experience - The hotel seemed run down. I was staying for a business trip. As soon as I checked in I had some work to do so I didn’t notice the dirty sheets until I got ready for bed. I called down but they couldn’t send anyone to change my sheets so I had to pack up and move rooms. The location was loud. I was woken up a couple of times during the night to someone honking their horn and slamming doors.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Don't recommend! - Dirty rooms. The bed sheets/pillow cases had blood and hairs all over. The shower shelf fell off on its own plus the tub looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. To top it off my daughter found a roach on her while laying on the sofa bed.

- nmartin2245 (4/5): Bad Experience - The Best Western in Dilley Texas has a lot to be desired. Breakfast was OK but 6 days I was there, coffee maker in breakfast area not working properly, rooms not being cleaned each day properly, ask server about coffee and nothing was ever done.

This was the most disgusting motel have stayed in 50+ years. front desk staff were very pleasant and friendly. breakfast was good and what you would expect. We had multiple rooms and did not know or realize the the lack of cleanness in everyone's room until we had checked out

I stayed at this property earlier in 2021 and the experience was awesome. But that was under a different manager. She has left and I could tell the difference!

- Verified traveler (4/5): Best Western new name Best Western POOR - Requested King Bed and got handicap king bed, overstay for 5 five nights and was going to extend to 10 at least. Five days the elevator did not work, even thou started on Thursday and still not fixed by Tuesday. Of course put on 2 floor. Hallways dirty, vac clean set out in hallway three days and never put up even thou the stairways and hallway never cleaned while I was there five days. No towel delivery to the room even thou they requested you leave the towels outside the door. Excuse is COVID. But you can pick up the dirty towels but can't delver fresh clean one to the door of the room. Guest have to go down to the check in and request the towels you want. Remember upper level and no elevator that works. When a person works hard during the day, hot and sweaty, you come to a hotel expecting clean and comfort that you are paying full price (No discount since no services) its very disappointing. Management did not care and it is apparent. This Best Western Plus should be called "Best Western POOR"

- annerbanner (6/5): Finally found a place to stay - I guess from Laredo to Dilley all motels were full from nurses doing a “project” in the area. Another Best Western suggested this location. Nice motel, breakfast was a grab and go bag because of Covid-19. We gave some suggestions to front desk at check-out, she seemed to care nothing about it. (1) We told her the room was not vacuumed throughly as paper was found under foot stole when I pushed it out. (2) one light bulb burnt out by bed. (3) not sure if the handle was going to stay on toilet, husband fixed it. (4) shower has no edge on it so easily water gets all over room, plus no shelf to put shampoo etc. Basically a nice new motel, I would stay again. I am telling you the issues on checkout, because staff does not stay here and without customers telling you how would you know this. Hopefully the desk clerk will say thanks next time!
- David (6/5): Questions left - My husband and I questioned if this room was ready for guests. There was no blow dryer, no toilet paper rod, and no Kleenex. The light above the tub didn't work, and there was no bathroom vent (or it didn't work). The room was clean and the bed comfortable, but there definitely were some question marks about this hotel.
- aguirregary (6/5): Ok Stay - Rooms were worn down. Beautiful exterior building, but rooms need to be updated and maintained better for the price they charge. A lot of oilfield workers still in the area staying for long periods of time may be the cause of the wear and tear of the rooms, bathrooms, carpet etc... Overall, it was OK. I'll probably find a different hotel next time with better prices.

The hall and room don't get vaccumed I drop something and it is covered in dirt and hair from the previous hotel room guest; GROSS. The shower was lose and crusty, the drain had a wad of hair in it and the tiles hurt your feet. I was afraid to drink the water due to the crusty hard water gunk growing in the faucet. The price per night is $50 pernight higher than the holiday inn that is in the next town. Their is nowhere to eat in Dilley Tx so that is one thing. The wifi did not work well enough to use, I called the front desk and they gave me a number to call for wifi help. The number was discontinued. I called front desk again and they told me the manager said that is just how it always has been. That is unexceptionable. I gave up on the wifi and went to sleep around 10pm due to having an early morning. I got a call from the front desk at 11:15pm waking me up. I answered and hung up deciding to cancel my stay the next morning. I was going to stay from 11\8\20 to 11\21\20 but cut is short to switch hotels on 11\14. All venders for Dilley Feed & Grain as well as all associated industry leaders\ integrators have been made aware to avoid your hotel.

- Michael (10/5): Hotels.com linked a card that wasn't mine. - Everything about the stay, hotel, staff, etc., is GREAT!!! Would definitely stay here again!!! It's Hotels.com that's the problem. I checked in and a card that isn't mine was linked to my reservation. The lady at the front desk fixed the reservation without delay, all while being very warm and kind. As far as hotels.com, I'm wondering if my card is going to be linked with someone else's reservation. That's definitely not good!!!

- Ana (10/5): Only Stay Here - This is the only hotel I would recommend in Dilley. We ended our stay at Super 8 after 30 minutes. The staff was WONDERFUL, helpful and pleasant. The breakfasts had variety, tho after a week a little more change would have been nice, they have a minimal workout room but it was sufficient. The meeting room was an unexpected bonus!!! The bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean.
- rosannec611 (4/5): Cleaning needs supervision - not welcoming - 3 days in a row- room was not vacuumed nor dusted - obviously need both-told front desk each day-took 3 days to get roomed vacuumed and dusted. Hallways had same crumbs and debris for days. Also, what's with the ropes barring guests from entering breakfast area except for breakfast. Not a very welcome sight. Would not stay here again.
