- Ting-yu (7/5): Place and rooms are big, but facilities are old. - No washing machine and WiFi doesn’t work well.
- Malgorzata (1/5): Bad - The company managing the apartment left me without accommodation in the middle of the night at the bus station in Mexico although I informed in advance that I will arrive during the night and I asked that they make sure that getting in creates no problems. But on the date of arrival the company sent me first all codes to get to in but then sent me another e-mail with information that my apartment is no longer available. Although I booked and paid months in advance! They proposed me another apartment in another location which after investigation appeared to be cheaper but they were so dishonest to write me that they would cover the difference in prices. Solving the problem with no place to go to in the middle of the night with limited access to Internet connection while traveling, delays in communication and nobody there from afternoon until morning resulted in nervous exchange of e-mails for a few hours and we ended up with no access codes to the new proposed apartment. When we finally got the new codes, we could not open the door. The security guard was trying as well and did not succeed either. All together we spent 5 hours at the bus station and in the hall of the building from 4.00 a.m until 9.00 a.m. trying to communicate with someone and then struggling to get in. Not even mentioning that the apartment proposed instead of the chosen one was 30 minutes away from the originally selected place where we were supposed to stay 1 week together with our friends as that was the purpose of our stay. That plan was ruined completely. I am very disappointed with the way the management handled the problem. The name of the managing company is Vacasa and is located in the US with phone numbers in the US - in case of problems you will have to make phone calls to the US. We only had a Mexican sim card for Internet so we could not use it to make phone calls to the US and connections from our Polish sim card would have been very expensive. I do not recommend.
- Mette (7/5): It could have been perfect, but the place lacks proactive maintenance - The location. The spaciousness. It was clearly once a very luxurious apartment. Great fridge. Well equipped kitchen. Aircons in all rooms, a great rooftop pool. We had too many inconveniences for the stay to have been a succes. 1. The host had only shared the main door code and not that lockbox code with us. So we couldn't get in until reaching out to Vacasa. 2. Ants all over the kitchen. 3. The apartment looked great and clean at first glance, but it was very worn out and on closer inspection, a bed was broken, the bathrooms had rusty appliances and handles coming off, the aircon in one bedroom was leaking, water was coming in closed windows while raining and there were weird stains on the wall next to the bed in one of the bedrooms 🤢. 4. We were missing a control for one of aircons and when asking for them to get us one extra, they told us to share which wasn't a real solution in our situation. 4. Halfway through our stay the main door code was changed without notice so we couldn't get in to the building and at the same time the remote control for the parking basement stopped working. 5. The last weekend of our stay we had a water leakage that flooded one of our rooms with water under the beds and we used our last days being available for handymen to come and fix everything. 6. We are still waiting for a promised compensation and it hasn't been clear how, when and where we will receive it.

- Pille (8/5): Very good - Location is good, building overall good and pool area nice. Building manager tried to fulfil our requests and continuous support. The construction work across the street is not a problem. It was not a big problem, but could consider adding more value to apartment. For example some high chairs to kitchen counter, some bowls for breakfast, water kettle, fresh water dispenser, bbq to terrace. One ceiling ventilator didn’t work and noone came to fix it during our stay. Main door code was changed twice and we got message about it half day later. Should send info beforehand, that code changing will take place at a certain time and new code before it changes. First code change was before arrival, no code update was sent before check-in.

- Stephanie (6/5): No privacy and constant noise - The location is excellent. Very close to the beach. The towels are very nice. The pool is very nice. The construction. The property across the street is under construction. The apartment advertises that the noise is from 9-6pm M-Sat. The noise and presence of workers is actually 100% of the time. They start work, music and yelling around 6am and often worked until 10pm. They are building a taller building so the pool area is completely within the view of the workers and not private. Its not shaded either. The company was unapologetic about their misrepresentation. The balcony is also unusable because of the dust and proximity to construction (as told upon checkin). The bed is extremely hard.
- Jane (10/5): Great place - Stayed at Klem Residence in Playa Del Carmen with my daughter. The apartment is notably large with marble and granite finishes. We appreciated the quiet location, just a short walk to Encanto Beach and 5th Avenue. The private balcony was a nice touch, as was the rooftop pool. Definitely a decent place for a getaway!
- Mirit (9/5): Amazing place, we will be back! - The building was great, it was clean and comfortable, we had 5 apartments and the whole family was together It was close to the beach and walking distance from all restaurants and shopping The elevator was great as well The pool should have been cleaned more We needed more sheets and blanket and it was not possible to get
- Mirit (9/5): it was an amazing stay for our whole family. we had 5 units in the building and it was perfect. - the apartments were beautiful. very comfortable beds. well maintained. great location. balcony in every unit. there was an elevator that was very important for us. there was a very nice pool on the roof. we needed more towels and sheets and it wasn’t available. the neighbor complain about things we did not do( there was another family there) and about some noise. we had 5 apartments so noise is part of it.
- Michael (8/5): Very good - The condo was spacious, clean and in a good location. It has a pool on the rooftop. There were two bedrooms and a kitchen. It is near the restaurants on 38 as well as Encanto Beach. The door entry code was changed by the building manager unknown to Vacasa rental who manages the propery. Fortunately, cleaning ladies were waiting on building manager to come down and we received new code. Wifi was challenging and two of us couldn't get work done due to it not connecting to websites. It ran around 2 MBps to 19 MBps. We could use wifi at other locations we stayed at in Mexico and got work done. The other locations were not that fast either but seemed to connect. They ran around 24 MBps. In this condo building and several others in the area, water was out for around a day due to a cistern/city/water supply issue. Water was eventually delivered to the building. The faucets tend to spray out beyond basins. Overall, we were happy with the place and would stay here again.
- Sofiya (4/5): Underwhelming "luxury" apartment - The flat's location, the terrace, the beds were comfy. Flat was spacious. Carlos was responsive. Our stay ended up being very disappointing. We were given wrong code for the building's entrance door and after spending 30 minutes trying to get it we had to call customer services. Unfortunately they couldn't help giving us the right code either. Thankfully Carlos managed to provide it so we eventually gained access. The apartment is nothing close to its description, it falls short of being "luxury" in every way. Most items inside are worn off - showers, sinks, faucets, mirrors, even the sofa has stains and the bath towels too! From 3 rooms, only one shower had kind of a decent pressure so water was running through though still splashing everywhere. Same thing happens with all faucets in all sinks except the kitchen one. The sliding door to the bathroom in the twin bedroom opens only half way through as it gets stuck. The shower does not have any stand where you can leave your soap, bar, etc. The shower in the room by the balcony leaks. The toilet there doesn't work properly. Our cousin sat on one of the chairs in the open plan kitchen and the chair fell through! He could have easily been hurt! On our last night there was an issue in part of the center with buildings having no water. Thankfully, after 10pm we managed to get some so we could shower. However, the next morning when we were leaving the water was on for about 20 to 30 minutes and then it stopped again. We paid almost ÂŁ700 for a "luxury" apartment that in our opinion and after our experience should not be priced for more than ÂŁ400. We are extremely disappointed and will not return or recommend that anyone stays here. Waste of your money!

- James (9/5): Big bright clean great location, needs new blinds - Very nice very big apartment great location. 2 blocks to the beach a block to 5th Ave. NOrth end of 5th so it was quite. No blind in large window that looks directly on to bedroom door. Needs a blind for privacy. The blinds in bedroom are very thin and do not block the light from street light across the street. Was not a problem for me but if you like a dark bedroom this needs to be fixed. Needs shade on rooftop pool. BBQ would also be nice.
