TV and wifi dropped out quite a bit (but it didn’t negatively affect us that much) It was quite cold, so we used the heating. Only S bed had electric blanket, but plenty of normal blankets provided. All in all a pleasant, comfortable, clean place to stay. Staff were very friendly and super helpful.

However, it would be better if guests were clearly informed of the check‑in time, as the staff member was not always at reception. The room itself was comfortable, and the heating provided sufficient warmth. The shower cabinet was comfortable overall, though there was no shelf or space to place personal items like shampoo.

• Veitch (5/5): Dirty rooms - Location staff friendly Room was fun of flies smelt damp the bathroom badly needed a good scrubbing especialy around the skirting boards crockery supplied was very poor I have certain food allergies so brought my own breakfast but could not eat it as there were no bowls to eat from would not recommend any of my colleagues to stay here when in town
• Celia (8/5): - Perfectly normal motel stay. In the town centre, easy to park. Provided all necessary items in a fairly small space. Good for one or two nights stay. Unexceptional. Convenient. Fairly small space with nowhere to sit out other than the car park.

• Barb (9/5): Great location in the main street of town - Room was perfect for a 1-night stay in Colac, spacious room, clean, comfortable bed, block out blinds, USB charging ports in power point and so quite considering it is on the main road. We were happy to see a little 2-seater couch and a nice big smart tv, Onsite parking & right in the town centre. Nice polite staff on check in, with a simple key drop box on check out. - Just a shame the tv was situated on the wall opposite the bed rather than the couch without a swivel arm. - The onsite restaurant & bar was not open, not sure how long it has been closed. We dined over at the RSL which was just over the road.

We were a bit disappointed your restaurant wasn't open but then again it was New Year so we understood people close and have breaks over this time.

• Jack (7/5): Room was good but noise from some kind of machine outside was no good - The staff are great and the room was very good. I stayed in room 7 sand there was a loud grinding noise which sounded like a machine fan or heater, outside the break wall which kept coming on and off all night. It was very annoying and hopefully the owners fix it.

Would definitely stay again.😁 There was a light at the bottom of the TV. So make sure you turn the TV off at the wall otherwise that light pulses all night..😉

• Caroline (8/5): Comfortable stay and centrally located for our needs - We had an unexpected stay in Colac whilst travelling the Great Ocean Road. Our car was towed into town after sustaining 2 shredded tyres due to a pothole incident. Nevertheless the manager was most friendly at our late evening arrival and even let us check out late on our departure day until our car was repaired. The motel was central and comfortable and we managed to have two pleasant days in Colac. All fine considering our circumstances.

• Kerry (5/5): This would be a ok stay but way overpriced - The bed was really comfortable. The heater couldn’t stay on as it had a slight rattle and there was no way you could sleep with it on. There was no box of tissues, a small issue I know but one I would expect at the price. And no drinking glasses either. Considering many places I’ve stayed I though $180- for the night for what it was was overpriced

• Jonny (8/5): - Staff were lovely. Location was great and everything was really clean. Rooms were spacious and comfortable Minor. There was no pressure from the cold tap which meant the shower couldn't be very powerful otherwise it was too hot

• Jayne (7/5): Comfortable, convenient, affordable stay. - Very central, convenient. Easy booking process. Staff welcoming and accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable. Tv remote was a bit tricky to use and laggy. Minor issue though. Also some glasses would have been nice rather than having to drink everything out of coffee cups. Bathroom fan very loud even when not on.
