Guest Reviews
- Arna (10/5): - We throughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were fantastic, so friendly and provided lots of recommendations and answered any questions we had. Breakfast had a good selection. The room was nice and we really enjoyed the pool. We would definitely stay here again
- NOBUYUKI (8/5): - スタッフの方が明るく親切でとても好印象でした。
- Andre (10/5): - This was our second trip to Hoi An. The town is majestic! The hotel was fantastic. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, and most of all an exceptional staff. We were also super happy with the store across the alley from our room. We bought drinks, snacks, deodorant and rented a scooter from them for the equivalent of $5 a day. I can’t say anything bad about the trip and genuinely loved staying there. If you pick it try to meet and talk with the store owners also. Super sweet sisters and their husbands. Everything was fabulous. The beds are stiff like all beds in Vietnam but at least theirs was comfy and easily sleepable
- Suzanne (10/5): Best boutique hotel in Hoi An. - Amazing staff and cozy beautiful rooms.
The food was delicious.
Quiet.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - スタッフの皆さんはとてもフレンドリーで、リクエストにも素早く対応してくれました。
- P.S. (10/5): - The customer service at Cozy HoiAn is fantastic, second to one, they have just opened their sister property next door and share staff. Very high service ethics throughout the facilities, at the front desk, the restaurant and the spa.
Pros: Staff, staff, staff, they were attentive when I had a question, gave great recommendations for tours and shopping. The rooms are well appointed and large, very clean and the beds are incredibly comfortable. Breakfast included is nice too but read the con below.
Cons: it is further away from the old town, but only about a 15 minute walk. But that doesn’t really make it quieter. There is a lot of construction and because life is lived early in Vietnam and outside you will hear people talking and laughing and motorbikes at all hours. Breakfast was abundant but definitely not made for vegetarians, there weren’t many choices as even most of the salads had meat in them. But for anyone else I think they would love it.
- sam (10/5): - friedly, very helpful staff, good breakfast. nice ambience.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The most incredible staff! So friendly, attentive, helpful and kind. The rooftop pool is FABULOUS and the property is clean, well kept and perfectly situated. It's just out of the main part of town so feels much more calm when the buses of tourists come through. Loved every bit of it.
- Verified traveler (10/5): "Cozy" Boutique Hotel in Hoi An - Amazing boutique hotel. Room is spacious and the bed very comfortable. The buffet breakfast, with eggs made to order, is fantastic. You have lots of Western and Vietnamese choices. The staff are welcoming and helpful. They are always willing to serve you.
The hotel is a bit outside of the centre (about 10 minutes walk), but that is a good thing (the old town can get a bit loud and crazy). Note: As of September 2019, there is a building under construction right next to the hotel, so there can be some noise and dust, but we had no issues with it.
- YU LING (10/5): I love the breakfast - Very friendly staff
Very nice breakfast!
- Jonas (10/5): - Very friendly staff.
- Chieh (10/5): Amazingly beautiful! - Well, I will have to say, the stay in cozy villa is one of my best experiences. The staff is super friendly and helpful, especially miss V, she is amazing. As I arriveD from ho chi minh very late, She greeted me with a welcome drink and very detailed personal tourist suggestion. Actually I try almost everything she recommended and almost everyone of them are great. The only issue is the location which is far away from town and the the neighborhood is not so nice but the supreme service the hotel provides simply resolved the problem. If I were once have the chance to come back, I will definitely stay in the same place.
- Wing yan (10/5): - 職員好主動介紹旅遊點,問候需要,服務很好。唯位置前後都有地盤工程,影響環境。
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The room is nice and clean, not far from the Hoi an ancient town (by cycling) ..great breakfast and nice variety.
- Ong (10/5): - Love the personalise service
- Justina (10/5): - Small boutique hotel tucked in a hidden alley. Was relatively easy to find and had a very cozy feeling indeed. Staff was very nice at check in , took time to explain to us about the place and food/ attractions to check out and gave tips on how to travel around etc. Room was surprisingly big and super comfortable. Loved everything about the room. The aircond wasn't working properly on the first day but the staff got it fixed very quickly. Breakfast was decent and staff was once again very nice and attended to all our needs. Love the room so much that I kept wanting to go back even after I left Hoi An and stayed in another hotel in Da Nang. Super good deal for the price and would definitely come back again!
- Yezad (10/5): Great place - The staff is very good and take the pain of explaining each thing in detail. Good breakfast. A little away from Hoi An ancient town but they have cycles with passenger seats. Good stay and would love to stay here again
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great small hotel with personal touch .young staff always there to help if you need something and helpful when asked what or where to go the bike were a great plus. I explored the country side and went to the beach with the bike. Small ish town and country side is 10 min bike away beach is 15 min .
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Had a great stay. The staff were very helpful, and the hotel is comfortable, and a reasonable 10-15 mins walk into the centre of old Hoi An.
- ALAN (10/5): Cute as a button. - Beautiful little hotel. A real gem. Staff super helpful. Room was perfect. Good breakfast. Nice little pool to cool down in the evening. I know the staff were stressed about the nearby building work. But it really didn’t disturb us at all. Overall a strong recommend.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Wonderful service by Anne and Daisy, lovely food and place recommendations by them. 7 minutes walk from Hoi An night market
- I R (8/5): It actually is nice and cozy :) - We wanted to get some food before leaving for the airport at 11.30am and the kitchen was closed ! This was pretty much the only let down. The staff were very friendly and were very personable. Loved how they had looked at our reservation and done small changes that we never even requested to the room to make our stay comfortable (e.g. extra bed for kid)
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Situated a 10/15 min walk from the old town. Great location. Borrowed a bike to take to the beach. They made a birthday cake and sang me happy birthday at breakfast. Very helpful staff. Very clean room. Loved it there.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean, well docor, full amenity, large bathroom, comfort, value for money
- Lee (10/5): Totally cozy and friendly! - The villa is beautiful with lots of lovely features and the team were really friendly. They took time to talk to us about the local area and we received a warm welcome each time we came back from being out in Hoi An. The bedrooms are nicely decorated and the breakfast was lovely. It’s a 10 min walk into town but a nice, safe stroll gets you there. The only downside is there was a lot of noise from building work opposite, which started at 7 and finished around 4. It didn’t bother us too much as we were out and about, and when we returned to chill by the pool at 4 the builders had gone home. For the price it’s a real bargain and worth the noise whilst the area is developing, which can only be a good thing.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Decent place at a bargain price, but damp room - It’s a good value overall but the cleanliness and finishing of the room could be improved. There is a general dampness in the room and the musky odour that comes with it and the corners and bathtub in the bathroom are grubby. The staff were attentive and the new bikes (not all) provided for free are of excellent quality. Location is fair.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Cozy Villas is well named, it is a cozy boutique hotel with high standard rooms with an oriental flavour but western facilities. Staff are very friendly and remember your name, the included breakfast was substantial and plentiful if one is hungry - you won't need lunch after a Cozy Villas breakfast! An easy walk to the Old Town makes sight-seeing easy and enjoyable. Our one-week stay in Ho iAn followed by two weeks in Da Nang was a memorable Vietnam visit made better by the Cozy Villas Hoi An and Belle Maison Da Nang.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The staff are what make this great little hotel, it is an easy walk to town.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Hotel is slightly isolated. Room 302 smelled and was noisy and overlooked construction. At BF next morning receptionist Lyn moved us to 304 which was clean, quiet and better view. She was also spot on in recommending restaurants, tailor, etc. Very good staff and decent BF.
- Johnathan (10/5): It is an awesome place to stay. - Overall it was a nice experience with this small boutique hotel. The receptionist were always eager to serve and help. The room was well maintained. The breakfast was good enough for a simple breakfast. Location was away from the busy street of Hoi An. Fantastic people at Cozy Villa always smiling.
- michel (10/5): - I had a great time in this hotel.
Staff especially Ms.Hanna and Ms.Vi were very helpful and approach us very friendly way.
5 mins walk to Hoi an old town, and free rent bike was useful to explore the town.
Thanks for the wonderful time!
- leonie (10/5): Beautiful boutique hotel - Absolutely loved our stay at Cozy Hoian Boutique Villas. From the moment we walked in to our departure all the staff made us feel so welcome.
Our room was beautifully decorated and loved that there were no plastic bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash were all in ceramic containers..great for the environment.
Only a easy 10 minute walk to Old Town .
Check in was quick and easy, price was fantastic.
- Vaughan (10/5): Only place to stay when in Hoi An - This is the second time we have stayed at Cozy. Great location quiet & peaceful yet still close to all the shopping, markets & restaurants. Staff are brilliant, very helpful & knowledgeable.
- Allisson (10/5): Fantastic hotel with great staff - Loved my stay at this boutique hotel. The staff at the hotel are lovely, they are very helpful and friendly and have good English. For us the location was perfect, it offers a very quiet stay whilst still being close to the ancient town, which is approx a 10minute walk. We opted for Morning Glory room to have abit more space and these are located on the ground floor which suited us. The rooms are nice, clean and very quiet, the bed is comfortable and the air con and wifi work very well. The pool was lovely, it is on the small side but rarely is there more than a few people at the pool at any one time and mostly we had it to ourselves. The breakfast was delicious especially the freshly cooked egg station items and bakery items. We did use the free to use bikes to explore the surrounding areas which was fun and convenient. The airport transfer worked very well, was on time, quick and comfortable. Would highly recommend this hotel.
- goh (10/5): Cosy Cozy Hotel - Good service upon arrival. Spacious and clean room. Amenities work fine. Away from Ho An Old Town which suits us fine.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was a warm welcome from the beginning. They were helpful, and at least they tried their best.
The villa was nice. Especially impressed by "Hoi An" unique interior.
Good location. Walking distance to the ancient town.
Internet and breakfast was okay.
Note:
Hotel has free motorbikes, but check it carefully before you take one. Better walk than drag a broken bike on the way back. (As I did)
- Agnes (8/5): Nice hotel - Brilliant 3N stay. No negative comments . Friendly attentive and polite staff. Clean and comfortable room.
- Verified traveler (8/5): 3 days in Hoi An - Very helpful staff. Close to old town. Quiet. Enjoyed our balcony.
- Verified traveler (10/5): A friendly hotel in a quiet part of town - We had a lovely stay in this hotel. We travelled with our 18 month old daughter and the staff were particularly attentive and helpful. The rooms are light, airy and stylish with beautiful Hoi An lanterns above the bed. Our balcony was small but perfectly fine for the two of us to avoid waking a sleeping baby (staff brought us room service with a very gentle knock). We used the little pool every day which had a shallow section perfect for a toddler to splash in. Would highly recommend this hotel and it's fantastic staff.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location close to old town. Easy access to restaurants and helpful staff.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Traditional hotel. - Pretty hotel. Very clean. Welcoming reception by decor and staff. Staff were extremely helpful and always asked if everything was okay in your room etc. Bicycles were provided for free which we used a couple of times. Telephone bookings were made willingly. Breakfast was provided with plenty of choice. Pool area was really nice -not so sure about fixed beds immersed in pool water but it looked very nice andclean. Shiort walk away from the old town. Very quiet area. Small balcony but pleasant to sit on.
- Justine Mei-Ern (10/5): Comfortable, personal, and stellar service! - It was an amazing stay - we would definitely book a room here again on our next visit!
Upon check in, we were given detailed explanations and tips of things we could do around the area. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Getting to know them was wonderful, and we really appreciate how they always took the extra initiative to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of :)
Love the traditional setup of the hotel as it feels like home, and the friendly staff who make conversation with you make you feel immediately welcome. Since it was also Tet (Vietnamese New Year) during our visit, the hotel also gave us 'lucky money' (red packets) and tangerines which was a nice touch.
The breakfast fare included traditional Vietnamese foods alongside the standard toast and cereal. Definitely enjoyed that!
Location-wise, the hotel is tucked away from the bustling traffic on the main road, but still close enough to all the nearby attractions. The only downside was that patrons of the cafe next door can get quite loud and noisy.
But overall, this was an amazing and certainly memorable stay!
- Allison (10/5): Amazing stay once again - The staff at Cozy are what make the stay amazing. They make an effort to remember your name and remember your likes and dislikes. They are all so friendly and helpful. Great place to stay a short 10 minute walk away for. The busy old town. Lovely breakfast with local and western options. Will definitely stay here again.
- Nhu (10/5): Nice, clean hotel - Nice small hotel with very nice staff.
About 10 minutes walk to the old town
- Prashant (10/5): Nice and Beautiful Hotel close to the old town - We had wonderful stay at Cozy Hoi-an. The place is lovely with very helpful and interactive staff. It is very close to the old town yet secluded from the madness of the old town. Nice spread for the breakfast. we requested to check-out an hour later and then we rested next to the pool till we left for the airport at 4. Our request was given attention to accommodated to the extent possible. The room decor is nice and beds are very comfortable, perfect to relax after walking throughout the day.
- Allison (10/5): Amazing staff - Loved staying at Cozy Villas again, it was nice to be remember by the staff. Breakfast was great as usually, beds comfy loved my stay. Easy working distance to town will definitely stay here again.
- Vincent (10/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff
- Verified traveler (10/5): Terrific Stay in Hoi An - Terrific. Will definitely stay again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice hotel, just outside old town - We loved our stay here, very comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff helped show us some excellent places to visit and great restaurants.
- Rose (10/5): What an amazingly staff at Cozy! - Thank you to Anne, Hannah, Lyn & everyone at Cozy! We stayed for 3 nights and it was a wonderful experience. From the first night, they were excellent. Our hotel shuttle organized by Anne was waiting for us at Da Nang airport, it was quick 45 minute ride to Cozy. Check in was a breeze, Anne was nice enough to sit down and map out some sights for us. Our room on the 2nd floor was quiet and very clean. Breakfast was delicious with nice selection of meats, cheese, breads, fruit, juices, coffee & tea. They are local dishes as well and even a noodle of the day (the cao lau was really tasty). Free bicycles are available to borrow, just pick one that works. It's about a 10 minute walk to the Old Town ticket booth. Maybe it's a little further than other hotels but not a big deal. I highly recommend this hotel. Staying here made Hoi An an even more memorable holiday!
- Lisa (10/5): One night stay - We had a lovely experience atcozy! Lovely welcome drink upon arrival and the nicest receptionist, Vi, who was genuinely very helpful. She told us what was around hoi an and where the best foods were The room was very clean and comfortable, the bathroom was also very clean (which I am very picky about). Only negative was that the Villa was a little bit of a walk to the centre and pool was very small, however, it was no big deal at all. We highly recommend this villa and we would definitely stay here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Oasis - love the location and wonderful staff. we stay in this seclude but just 5 minutes walk from the heritage town, Hoi An. We enjoy every restaurant and street food from Marie. All the staff are very helpful and courteous. Word of advice ask the reception for anything, they always will try they best to help you. The little pool at the back is our oasis from the heat and crowd.
- Kyli (10/5): Amazing staff and perfect location - Loved this hotel!! The entire staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing, and it was! Breakfast was delicious. The pool is a little small but we had it to ourselves one afternoon and it was great. Cannot recommend this place enough :)
- Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful break - What a wonderful plan to stay , great rooms and the most fantastic staff
- Damien (8/5): Great staff, nice room! - Staff really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and are really helpful with tips for Hoi An, free bikes are a bonus. 5-10 min walk to old town or a couple of minutes ride on a bike. Room was large and clean with a good bathroom and small balcony, bed firm as per most of Asia but still comfortable nights sleep. Wifi strong. Plenty of fresh food for breakfast with lots of options, would stay again.
- Chris (10/5): A small and very friendly hotel - Our family group of 5 stayed for 8 nights (Sept 2016). The location is great for the old town - about a 10 minute walk to the Japanese Bridge. We walked just about everywhere. The hotel is relaxed and without exception has the genuinely nicest and most helpful staff I've ever come across. Thank you Hang, Ohn, Ty, Tien and your colleagues for making our stay so pleasant.
- Ryan (6/5): Average hotel - Despite the much rave reviews here, i feel it is an average establishment befitting of a 3-star hotel as indicated. Small and compact in size. Rooms with balcony literally next to each other. Some of the staffs probably need to upgrade their language skills as we had some difficulties getting our request across in English. 10-15 mins walk to reach Hoi An Ancient Town or if you are adventurous enough, you can borrow the bicycles from the hotel. It was my birthday and the hotel made me a birthday cake, so that was cool. Recommended to get the hotel to arrange for transportation to pick you up from Danang Airport instead of hailing one from there to avoid getting ripped off. Generally, a fair deal given the price.
- Kamelia (10/5): Lovely spot - The staff were lovely, the rooms clean and tidy, the amenities and pool were great. 10 min walk into the ancient town, this place was perfect. Would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy Hoi An!
- ivy (10/5): Cozy hotel with nice staff - Cozy hotel with nice staff. They were helpful doing the reservation for restaurants and tour bookings. Would definitely stay here again when we comeback.
- Verified traveler (10/5): New clean value for money gem - Location - walkable or cycle to old town / night market
Place was new, clean
Staff were very friendly, remembers your name throughout the stay
There was a pool to cool off but we didn't get to use it. Clean with deck chairs
Overal recommended if you visit hoi an
- Anthony (10/5): very comfortable, quiet and stylish hotel - All of us love the passionate staff, relaxing environment and comfortable room.
- Jonathan (10/5): Great value for money - Cozy is great value for money. At this price it was never going to be a five star luxury hotel but where it lacks in that it makes up with service, friendliness and convenience.
Bikes available for free.
- Allison (10/5): Amazin Staff - What makes this hotel great is the amazing staff, they great you like family from the start and ensure they great you by name each time they see you. they provide great advice about things to see and do in the area and some great restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was great with a local option each day which I loved especially the Cao Lao noodles.
The small pool was ideal for a cool of I. The after noon.
A big thanks to Tam, Ann, Lyn, Marie, Hanna, Micky, Winn,Loc and the rest of the team I loved staying at you great little hotel.
- Michelle (10/5): We will go back! - Wonderful week, new hotel, clean, great pool, great breakfast, great location. You feel at home staying.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Quiet Oasis - This hotel is extremely friendly. The building is fairly new, so everything is wonderful and kept very clean. The staff are so helpful. Thank you to Helen and everyone that greeted us each morning! The pool is a great little spot to take an afternoon or evening swim. The breakfast is great and it's nice that they have food and drinks throughout the day if you don't want to wander into town. Walking to town for restaurants, snacks, coffee, or a drink is extremely close. You're literally two blocks from the old town. Plus, they have bicycles that are free to use. We never had an issue getting one to use and it made it incredibly easy to get around. I would recommend this place to anyone!
- Jacqualine (10/5): Nice hotel, just tucked away from everything - The hotel is lovely and the staff are eager to please and ensure your stay is great. However it was a little bit out of the town for us when we like to walk and this coupled with the bathroom(difficult to get in/out of the shower/bath) would mean I wouldn't recommend it for older travelers.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Small Boutique Hotel close to Old Town - Lovely small hotel with very attentive staff. The place is spotless and although not in the old center it is a short walk or bike ride. The hotel provides free bikes which made it fun to get around.
- Elaine (10/5): Great hotel in a quiet part of town - We found Cozy to be a great hotel in a quiet part of town but close enough to walk in and out twice a day with ease.
The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff are friendly and very helpful. The pool looked great too, nice and clean and inviting.
Breakfast was great - heaps to choose from and the breakfast room was large with outside seating as well, much better than other hotels we have stayed in.
Bicycles are free and kept in good working order.
The bed was very firm, but when I asked for an extra doona (intending to lie on it) they worked out what I needed and a beautiful mattress overlay appeared on the bed - greatly appreciated.
Tam, Mickey, Yan and Kathy made our stay special, Thank You.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Indeed a very cozy place! - Staying at Cozy Hoi An boutique has been an amazing experience. The hotel staff have all showed high sincerity and hospitality to all guests every single encounter. In particular the hotel receptionist, Hannah is most warm and patient sharing local recommendations and giving tips to all guests. This is unforgettable stay and the coziness is something I hope every traveler will also similarly experience!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Etwas abgelegen! - Neues Hotel Personal sehr Freundlich Gerne wieder !
- Brent W (10/5): Nice little hotel 10 minutes from the center. - I enjoyed my stay here quite a bit. The staff were very attentive, the room was nice, the breakfast tasty, and the neighborhood quiet (except for the morning roosters).
All in all my companion and I had a lovely time here and I would definitely return.
My complaints (which are small) were:
-the way the TV was positioned on the wall it was almost impossible to access the HDMI port
-to get out of the bathtub you had to step very. it was not a problem for me, but I think it would be for older guests or those with limited mobility
-the shower and bathtub were in great shape, but it took a while for the water to get hot
- Verified traveler (10/5): Staff was very kind and I got good feelings. - This was new hotel so room was nice and super clean! staff always help to us!
- Abigail (8/5): Great value stay - Very nice staff, keen to help and practice English, good breakfast buffet selection. Pool very refreshing. Rooms were comfortable and clean with good, hot showers. Othe guests children were a nightmare, but you can't blame bad parenting on a Hotel!!
- Soney D (10/5): Lovely brand new hotel with exceptional service! - Although this is a brand new 'boutique style' hotel the staff service was exceptional and super-friendly! From the minute we arrived the reception and greeting was welcoming by the front desk manager Zhung and the bell boys, over the 3 days stay we were well looked after by their hard working housekeeping team leaded by Huong, with quality and well equipped room amenities
Breakfast consisted of plenty of food options..very well attended wait staff by all including Mai, Thanh and Thao ensuring us the feelings of home-away-from home! This hotel is situated within 12-15min easy stroll along the river to the bridge temple and the night market, they also offer free of charge bicycle access to the nearby beaches if desired.
Overall our stay was amazing and definitely recommend this accommodation to everyone, especially if you are after a quiet night of sleep with the most comfortable bed I ever experienced in Vietnam ☺
