The ladies in the spa were fabulous and provided excellent services. Bed ware very comfortable and we had everything we required. The only criticism is that gym was very basic and water wasn’t available unless you purchased it. Overall, I think water should be available freely. We have a wonderful stay in an amazing place 💙

- Teresa (10/5): - Great stay at the Aqua Blue Hotel. Excellent location steps away from the sea, restaurants and shopping! Clean spacious rooms, excellent breakfast, great walking area besides the Aegean Sea! Front desk staff were great and easy to communicate with prior to our stay and very attentive during our stay. Beach chairs included & beach service for snacks and drinks. About 45 min away from Oia, , 20 min from Fira, 20 minutes from Akrotiri Lighthouse, we rented a car for 60 Euro a day from a rental service hotel provided for us, it was the best decision we made. We were able to drive around the entire island, parking easy everywhere we went! We experienced all of Santorini and not just Oia which was the best experience. It doesn’t have the views of Oia but the sea view and access to the Aegean and swimming besides a gorgeous mountain outside the hotel was unmatched. Highly recommend Perissa Beach as top destination in Santorini.

- Eloise (10/5): Amazing hotel! - The hotel was perfect! And the location is amazing as it isn’t as busy as the rest of Santorini. The room was great, modern looking and patio was right by the pool. Cleaners came every day and there was also an option to have bedding changed everyday. The pool was big and loads of sun beds. Also got free sun beds on the beach which was right infront of the hotel. As Muslims we were worried about what food we could have but there was loads of options for breakfast and there was a restaurant next to the hotel called Pergola which told us they did halal food. The staff were great, they helped us with all of our trips and helped arranged some flowers and decorations which my partner asked for. Hotel was very quiet at night time and couldn’t hear anything from our room. Would definitely stay here again if we ever came back to Santorini. Would definitely recommend staying here, best hotel we’ve stayed at!!!! Our flight wasn’t till 9pm and we had to leave our room at 11.30am but they let us stay at the hotel and use their facilities and they looked after our suitcases. 11.30am was the perfect time to leave the room it wasn’t too early and gave us enough time to prepare have breakfast and double check we had everything. Lastly, they help you with any activities, atv/buggies/car rentals with reasonable prices rather than finding our own at more of a price, and they will direct you to the best places to visit in Santorini .10/10 for Aqua Blue Hotel!

It wasnt too crowded so always be able find a table or sun lounge The transfer to Fira was very handy to go there and spend evening with great sunset. There were a few restaurants and a bar walking distance from the hotel so if I wanted a lazy night I could walk to and it was just so perfect. I would definitely love to stay there again.

Savor a diverse array of nearby dining options and take advantage of its prime location across from the stunning black sand beach. Despite the snugness of our rooms, we had a restful stay with cozy beds and a serene atmosphere. I recommend this hotel.

Plenty of choice for breakfast. Two pools with lots of space around them. Would happily stay again. Bus stops just a short stroll away providing regular easy access to all areas of the island including Fira, Oia and Kamari beach. Very pleased that we chose here for our week on Santorini.

- J (10/5): - From start to finish, Aqua Blue was noticably the best hotel among the strip of hotels with direct beach access. Very clean and the staff was very helpful and gracious with any request. Only things that they don't really tell you about is that all of the windows need to be closed to get the air conditioning to work. Also, the Wi-Fi is free but is extremely weak and most times, you cannot connect to it unless you are in the lobby area. If you're in your room, forget it. Other than that, the beach service and servers were very pleasant, the beach area itself was extremely clean as well. If/when we come back to Santorini, we will most definitely be looking to stay here again.

Staff are friendly and welcoming and are happy to assist with anything you need. There are plenty of restaurants around the hotel.

- kelli (10/5): - We really enjoyed this hotel. Nice, clean, quiet, just like the pictures. We loved having beach towels and sun beds provided. You can even order drinks/food at the beach and pool. (The beach has beautiful black sand that gets extremely hot, but bring water shoes, as Perissa beaches ocean floor is slippery rock, not sand.) We visited the spa twice, Iro was amazing. The free breakfast was good. A mix of English/Greek options. Olive, the restaurant at the hotel has a menu for dinner. We ate there 3 out of 4 nights we stayed at Aqua. Markella waited on us every night and remembered our favorite table, drink and appetizer orders. Highly recommend the Kataifi - excellent blend of Greek cheeses. This was our favorite item the entire week we were in Santorini.

- Gabriela (10/5): - Great location. The area is so busy and FULL of stores and restaurants. The hotel has beach beds with umbrellas on the beach. Couldn’t ask for more. The breakfast wasn’t great. I skipped it for some of the mornings and grabbed a bite from the many restaurants on the small strip.
- Ryan (10/5): - We stayed in Athens, Mykonos, Santorini and then Crete. This was by far #1. First of all, the place is spotless, all first class bedding, linens, towels, etc. And being on the black beach vs. the over-priced and crowded blue domes on the cliffs is the way to go in Santorini. Take a day trip over there at sunset. The hotel will setup transportation when you get there for $35, but then come back to paradise with the nicest and most accommodating staff and bartenders to be found anywhere in Greece! Cheers!

Although it was the end of the season, we still had plenty of restaurants to chose from in Perissa. For busier night life, we headed over to Fira. The hotel is really stunning - picturesque and relaxing in its decor, very clean and with excellent service. The buffet breakfast was fine (nothing to write home about!) and the pool side bar had a good range of food and drinks. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel or (sadly) avail of the spa services...an additional reason to go back!!!

I was told there were no other rooms. There was no way I was staying in a room with no window and not even space to open our luggage. Had I not pre-paid, I would have walked right then. Instead, I said I had to think. Soon they found us another room that was just adequate. Next morning I asked for help with luggage and was told there was no one there to help. When I checked out, the internet was apparently down and I had to pay cash instead of using my credit card for incidentals. Never will we return to Aqua Blue and do not recommend it to others.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Loved the location across from the beach and a great strip of bars, restaurants and little shops. Close to get the bus to Fira. Far more relaxing than staying in either Fira and Oia. Hotel very clean and modern; nice big pool and good gym. Breakfast ok but only open until 10:00 and shut it right down! Maybe keep open to 11?
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very clean and well looked after hotel. Staff were extremely helpful and quick with all requests for booking taxi’s, trips and providing towels whenever we needed them. Location wise it’s perfect, all the restaurants are only minutes away. Highly recommend
- Verified traveler (2/5): - In no way is this a five star property. It is totally mis sold. We went to have breakfast twenty minutes before close and the surly staff told us that they were out of coffee, eggs, etc. The “juice” was a sugary powdered drink reminiscent of the 70s and the fruit was from a can. We booked a taxi through the hotel but ended up being taken all over the island to pick up other passengers and missing our flight. Will never ever stay at this place again or use their extortionate ‘taxi’ service that’s really a shuttle.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This hotel is located at a perfect location for the beach. The property is gorgeous. There is a lot to do around. Amenities and service could be inproved somewhat such as: Breakfeast Variety (same every day), more personable service at breakfeast, beach beds, some additional transports to other villages by the hotel at different times in day and some entertainment for the guests. Overall worth to stay at this place but if they put a little effort in the above notes items it would truly be a western 5* hotel.
- Sam (2/5): - The facility was clean, the manager did not accommodate my request for separate beds. The room was very noisy as the room next door was making noise till 12am , even with calling the front desk the noise issue wasn’t resolved. They refused to give me any credit for the noise or the bed accommodation.
- Robert (2/5): Aqua Blue lied to us - Unfortunately Aqua Blue their online advertising is purposefully misleading. Aqua Blue was the most expensive hotel we stayed in during a recent three week trip to Greece. Since there were four of us I reserved a "Junior Suite" with a "Sea View" and the photo the hotel provided that showed what the "Sea View" looked like was not what we got. The photo shows two lounge chairs and a table complete with cocktails next to a balcony wall with the sea just beyond. Sounds perfect doesn't it. But what you actually get is a small patio with a wall, that is closed, then 75 feet of flat roof to the far away parapet and a very thin line of sea horizon above the wall. The photo was obviously staged to purposely misrepresent what you would actually enjoy. When I immediately brought this to the attention of the manager, he shrugged and admitted that others had also complained about this. His closing remark was that if we enjoyed the pool we would eventually forget about not having a "sea view". He was not in any way willing to adjust the price or give us any other benefits in response to my complaint. We were paying about $500 Canadian a night for our "sea view" room. The hotel offers five "Junior Suites" and they all have the identical issue. What I most find deplorable about this the hotel's purposely lying to their customers and then dismissing their complaints. A typical response from a hotel that assumes their clients are one-off and will not return so they don't need to play fair.
- Kate (8/5): - The property is on black sand beach with complementary beach chairs, With a lot of dining options. 30 minute bus ride from the town Fira, and about an hour bus ride to Oia town. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Aqua Blue hotel.
- Melissa (10/5): Perfect hotel - The hotel is in Permissa which is about 30 minutes from the airport. It’s situated on the black sand beaches. It’s a beautiful clean newer hotel with great food and pool. They have a spa but I didn’t see it. It’s a quiet area with a long stretch of walking with lots of restaurants and shops. They also have a shuttle up to Fira and Oia for about €12-15. Taxis costed us usually €30-50, so this is a great price. I personally found this to be my favorite place to stay while in Santorini. Thursday nights a restaurant just down the road also has a traditional Greek dinner with dancing and breaking plates!
- Bliss (10/5): Beautiful resort with amazing pool area. - Beautiful room with a spectacular view. The front desk service was wonderful. We felt very welcomed. The only area of feedback for improvement I would say is the lack of service pool side. There is a beautiful pool and a bar pool side but the service was nonexistent.

Staff was always friendly and eager to help with recommendations. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning with a nice variety. We wish the pool would have been heated as it was just to cold to go into the water when we got to warm from the sun.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - I loved everything about this hotel. While we were visiting Santorini it rained quite a bit. I honestly didn’t mind sitting in the hotel room during the rainy periods. It felt very homey. My room overlooked the beach and we fell asleep each night listening to the waves. It’s a great hotel if you are wanting to stay away from all the hustle and bustle of oia. There is nearby public transportation that you can take to get to Fira and Oia or the hotel provides a ride share, for a fee that will drop you off and pick you up. The hotel has two pools. Both are gorgeous, clean and have great beds to relax on. The hotel also provided us with towels. Overall it has been one of my favorite hotels I’ve stayed at and I travel often.
