• Simon (10/5): - We booked this property for 2 days stay. Unfortunately, our flight delayed for one day, and then arrived late night when the office was closed. The Art Suites team was very helpful. Clara assured us someone would be there and Mojo came gave us the key. They also kindly moved our reservation one day late, so we did not have to find another hotel. We really appreciate their help. The unit is nice and big, especially very clean. The neighborhood is convenient and very safe, we walked out to have dinner and back after 10PM, nearby restaurants still full. Overall, we give a 10, and highly recommend.

• Victoria (10/5): - The apartment was great for our two weeks in Buenos Aires. The kitchen has everything you need for simple meals (i.e., a pot, a pan and more). The only thing I wish I knew beforehand is that cleaning during the stay isn't included. But a broom is provided and the apartment was spotless when we arrived. Recoleta is a very nice location to stay. Very safe both during the day and at night, with a lot of life at the local restaurants and bars (although the road is the hotel is not very noisy)

When I first walked in the place seemed quite "dumpy" and unappealing. The bed was so/so. This impacted us when we'd come home after long days of walking and seeing the sights as there was no comfy place to relax.Sofa and easy chair needed replacing years ago!

If fact it was difficult to make any contact with them even by phone or email. Efforts to confirm our registration were difficult and stressful. The said they would confirm by email which they never did.Their website also indicated breakfast when none was provided. Also said baggage storage was available when it was not.

• Tracy (10/5): - Perfect location for hanging out in Buenos Aires. We can walk 15-20 mins to major attractions. We love to walk around to feel the city. If you don't want to walk, you can get a taxi easily on the street. There are many restaurant options near by. Maria and all other staffs are very nice. Maria helped us check in, and she setup a Whatsapp session with us for communication that was very helpful.

We didn’t see it noted on their website or in any communication until the actual day of arrival when they sent us a text. They insisted on cash. They had all our flight info a month ahead and didn’t mention it at that time. Their communication appears to only be in Spanish on WhatsApp. The room was very quiet, convenient, we loved the area—too bad about the charges.

• Dan (10/5): - Super-friendly, great management. I was concerned about a late-checkout, no problem, a small payment. Two apartments on each floor, any in a renovated building are going to be noisy, huge trucks at traffic lights growl when they start up. I'm hyper-sensitive to environmental noise, it wasn't enough to make me used the ear plugs airlines pass out. A tradeoff, an occasionally rumble, with the charm and fun of a non-cookie-cutter you could actually live in v. non-stop door slamming from all the rooms down the hall and all other floors. For US visitors: like everywhere else in the world, bring your own washcloth, they're never provided. Floors are wooden, not carpet, pack your slippers if that's an issue. A special mention of the showers, HOT water, lots of it, ancient shower heads that remind you of what a 'powerful' shower was. Living area had a real sofa, an easy chair, bedroom had extra pillows in the closet. Small grocery adjacent, highly-awarded restaurant at the end of the street. Again, management made me feel like I was a guest in a home. After decades of travel I'm hard to please and extremely critical. I'd like to stay there again!

We walked to city center too although it is a long walk, particularly during summer heat... so maybe get an Uber. Rooms were large and clean, fairly quiet too. Staff are friendly and helpful, they arranged an airport taxi for us and had no problem with a very late check in.
• MarcandPaula (8/5): - Big livingroom with couch and chair, great cable tv choices including CNN and also Fox as well as lots of other US shows that were dubbed, but could be played in English at touch of a button. Bed Excellent and a real King, in a large room with two sets of curtains, and an exterior terrace(we did not use). Also excellent bathroom with plenty of pressure and good hot water. Kitchenette fully functional, with big fridge. ONLY negative was that the fridge made a truely horrible noise when compressor came on, and even with kitchen door shut, it was still way too loud. Mgmt said they would look to repair. Air conditioning Excellent! Location Excellent....a little noise from a restaurant across the street, but hey that was part of the local atmosphere. It is very well situated in Recoleta, and we would definitely stay there again. Controlled entry access, and good 24 hour desk staff. (Our review and stay was on calle Peña2268, and as I write this review it is showing as “Comuna,2 “so just be aware...)
• Alex (10/5): - The property is very well-located, right between the Recoleta Cemetery and the El Ateneo Bookstore. It looks beautiful. It was a fully functional 1-bedroom apartment except for the lack of a laundry. Everything worked perfectly. Sebastian was very friendly at the reception, giving us suggestions of what to do, and helping out with everything we needed. I would book the same place again for sure.
• Ty (10/5): - The entire staff was super helpful and pleasant. The did everything in their power to be accomodating, from allowing us into our room early to supplying maps and valuable information. They called rides for us and told us where the locals ate. The property is very clean and well maintained and in the Roleta area. We didn't really know what that meant at the beginning of our stay but found it to be in a wonderful, safe, central location close to many parks and stores in walking distance. Within 100 meters there was a bakery, a tiny local market, a fruit store and several restaurants. the Suite had a nice little kitchen stocked with a refrigerator, 2 burner stove, tea and dishes and cutlery. It was spacious with ample closet and storage space and a room safe. The only suggestion for the suite would be a large mirror on the wall of the sleeping area in addition to the (only) mirror in the bathroom. We loved it and would stay there again if we ever travel to Buenos Aires again.

Even though these are private apartments, the property offers a range of concierge services, including daily room cleaning, so you have the best of both worlds. The location was good, too. In easy walking distance to local tourist attractions, restaurants, cafes, banks/ATMs, etc. Highly recommended.

The staff was very friendly, professional, and always willing to help him in order to make his stay pleasant. Modern and updated room, spotless. Perfect choice for business trips.

• Roger (8/5): - Hotel front door is quite discreet so it's better to search from street number instead of property name when taking taxi/uber. It is basically an apartment with very basic utensils provided, except washing machine. There are ample of launderette nearby anyway. Location is safe and wifi is stable. the only downside is the uninteresting breakfast which is sent to our room directly each morning.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Rest and Relaxation in Recoleta - The hotel is on a mostly quiet street in Recoleta, near some dining spots and just a short walk from the Recoleta mall and the cemetary. Taxis are abundant and it seems like the neighborhood is safe and friendly. Lots of locals out walking their dogs. There is a drug store one block away, a parilla directly across the street, and a convenience store just next door. I found walking around was very easy and enjoyable. The hotel has 2 elevators, is quite minimalist and it has a mid century feel. Staff were very friendly and helpful in every way possible 24 hours a day. Here are some highlights of my weekend stay in room 5A. The good: Excellent water pressure, super clean, firm, comfortable beds, separate living and bed rooms, long beautiful balcony, excellent temperature controls, great complimentary in room wifi. The not so good: Paper thin walls and ceilings where I could hear every single word spoken by people showering a floor above me and every step they took, street noise from cars below, dogs barking and crying children in apartments across the street echoing through the canyon-like street, low quality soap and shampoo/conditioner products provided (so maybe bring your own). This is a good place to stay as a base for exploring the rest of the city. The best sites and places are close by and you feel like you're staying in a quaint Paris neighborhood. The price was right and all in all, I slept well here and I enjoyed my first visit to BA.
• Adrian (10/5): Great location and super helpful staff - We were in and out of BA over a two week period both for sightseeing and work and we stayed at the Art Suites & Gallery whenever we were in town. The location is excellent, with the cemetery and other sightseeing within walking distance. Also, there are plenty of food and drink options from the Disco and Coto supermarkets around the corner to bars and restaurants right outside the front door. The guys at reception were always helpful, be it with recommendations, booking taxis, explaining Subte or helping with bags at the door. They speak excellent English. The apartments had plenty of space for me, my wife and toddler and a baby crib was provided, with an area to cook for the little one. The wifi also works flawlessly!! All in all, highly recommended.

• Dmitri (10/5): Our usual place in BA - My wife and I have been choosing Art Suites for the last couple of years. The hotel is conveniently located at the heart of Recoleta. Rooms are spacious and clean, the staff are friendly and superhelpful. One thing to keep in mind that “B” apartments on the lower floors (a cheaper option) are facing the wall - avoid if you are staying in your rooms during daytime. In some of the “B” rooms WiFi is very slow.

There are heaps of general stores/supermarket nearby if you plan to cook. If not, restaurants are within walking distance or you can easily get a taxi to Soho area. Would recommend this place if you’re staying in Buenos Aires for a few days and want to feel like home.
• Agnes (10/5): Great place in recoleta!! - It was amazing. Our flight arrived very early and the check-in was after 2pm. They kept our luggage so we could go see the city and eat breakfast. We were back around 10:00am and by 11am they let us check in. The crew was very attentive and polite, the room was nice, comfortable and clean. Great location and neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again.

All staff are very helpful - one of the staff even helped us to negotiate (in Spanish) with a taxi driver who was trying to scam us on a taxi fare. I would stay at this place again.
• Lauren (10/5): Vacation in Buenos Aires - We greatly enjoyed our stay here. The front desk was friendly and helpful. Our apartment was very clean, modern, and comfortable. The area is nice and felt safe. There are lots of bars/restaurants/cafes within walking distance and it is located a 10 minute walk from Recoleta Cemetery. I would not hesitate to stay here again or to recommend it to my family and friends.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Very pleasant - Since I stayed 11 nights, I occasionally cooked simple meals. A few more items in the kitchen such as a medium size pot to boil pasta and a colander would have been nicer. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay. Two apartments per floor. A apartments face the street, so have better views, but B apartments are quieter since they are on the back. Breakfast is very simple and delivered to your apartment. I wish there had been more coffee in the pot every morning. That said, I would definitely go back to this hotel.

• Peter (8/5): - Spacious apartment with simple cooking facilities and a large fridge. I have no criticism of the property at all but I prefer the Palermo area as it is a nicer low rise area with more shops and funkier restaurants. Just my preference. The reception staff were helpful.

• Dovenia (10/5): Spacious, clean apart-hotel with helpful, fr staff - Being in an apart-hotel is great as you have 24 hour service but in a more relaxed apartment feel. The staff are very attentive and helpful, and though you have your usual Argentine problems that you would have even in a 5* hotel, (e.g. Wi-Fi not working - but they have a flip swirch that you can just reset each time yourself and always works again, toilet flush breaking - but fixed, etc) but overall it's clean and spacious with daily cleaning service. The shower is fantastic as there is so much water pressure! The breakfast in the room is basic but a nice touch if you are just needing some food for the busy schedule, especially since they don't have a restaurant. Only thing is you can't change your mind if you wake up tired as they are pretty on time! It can be a bit loud on the street but it's no different to being anywhere else. I would definitely go back and stay there next time. For the price it's worth it!
• Max (10/5): Perfect Location - Perfect location for walking to many fantastic restaurants and shopping areas, very safe area, Suite was large , super clean and comfortable, the only thing is Suites facing the main street are subject to alot of noise so if you are booking, email ahead and request a suite at the back of the property, also Living are needs heavy curtains to provide privacy. Otherwise everything is fantastic, I loved the property
• richo (10/5): very little english spoken - very little english spoken so impossible to make yourself understood also in my age group hard to find good variation on meals as no cooked breakfast available round the area mainly Italian or poor steak houses like steak and fries or hamburger and fries so as very little english spoken unable to find if argintina has its own food but taxi very good and cheap just make sure you have the address of where you are going or your hotel and make sure they put meter on but the city is beautiful

• Dmitri (10/5): Thumbs up! - We stayed there for three nights after pretty demanding hike in Patagonia. The hotel delivered on every promise: large two-bedroom apartment with huge terraces and excellent beds, very helpful staff, supreme location in the heart of Recoleta. Breakfast probably could have been improved but unattractive desayunos is a national challenge of Argentina. Overall, we give Art Suites the highest rating. Great stay! P.S. Right across the street is Bar de Carne - a small cerveceria run by young people. Their burgers are out of this world, blonde beer is delicious and the crowd very pleasant. It’s a very local place. Don’t miss it!

• Carmen (10/5): Excellent stay in the heart of Buenos Aires - This boutique hotel was wonderfully comfortable and centrally located. The staff were extremely helpful and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Far superior to any Airbnbs in the area and with equal, if not better, amenities.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Don't give them your passport - Hotel was fine but front door wanted to scan and store my passport. This is a huge identity theft risk. Also, they make guests leave their room keys with them upon leaving the building. Absurd.

• Liliane (8/5): More than a hotel! - I used a secret code to make my reservation. I was quite surprised when I paid to be told that the price indicated was not in Canadian dollars as I had thought but in US dollars. A huge difference. The 10 % discount was useless.

• Cecilia (8/5): My "home" in Buenos Aires - This apart-hotel is in a great location. Just a few blocks away from the famous Recoleta Cemetery, it is a nice and comfortable place to "call home" while in Buenos Aires. Room are not as noisy as other customers mentioned. Apartments are spacious and bright. The small kitchenette has a full size fridge that can be stocked with drinks and food available at nearby convenience stores. Recoleta is a safe area. There is a lot of police presence in the city as the government understands how important tourism is to its economy. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place in the city.
