- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - The place is very clean and Robert was attentive to our request. Location is in a quite part of Aspen but is veey close to the city center. Amenities comes with sauna and pool and parking. House has complete set of pots n pans and all kitchen needs. We had problems with the central heating on the first night, which could be difficult during winter. Robert tried to fixed it but it still not working. He opted to provide us portable heaters instead.

- Dana (10/5): Comfy stay in a great location - We absolutely loved our stay at the Shadow Mountain Lodge! The room was clean and nicely decorated. Nice artwork adorned the walls. The bed was super comfortable. The kitchen was minimal, but was all we needed. Easy walking or bike riding to shops, restaurants, bars, and trails. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hot tub/pool was a treat that we enjoyed every night. The pool was clean and surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers, and had a nice view of the mountains. No complaints

- Yevgeniy (8/5): - Good place for the price. Good for longer stays because of the kitchenette. Nice balcony. Heated pool. The place is older, but functional. A suite can easily house a family. Our loft had a tricky staircase and low ceiling, but perfect for younger people, though it had only one big bed. The area is green and quiet and within an easy walking distance of everything. I felt like I got a lot for my money. The front desk is not staffed all the time, so it can be challenging, but luckily we needed someone only twice, checking in and out.

Easy walking distance to downtown Aspen. The swimming pool is a hot tub and was close to our room- fabulous! Ski locker next to our room was really useful. The upper bedroom area is hard to access and cramped so the room we had (1) was good for 2 people but not so good if you had 4

- Emily (10/5): Perfect little condo just 6 min walk from the heart of Aspen! - Very clean and spacious. Well appointed kitchen. Great staff on premises and the cleaning lady way lovely. This was an awesome stay. We will stay here again on our next visit. Only negative I can come up with was the Mattress was comfortable but sagged some. Likely due to age. We slept all right.

I would only say that you need to coordinate the check in 24 hs before arrival, because if you arrive after 4pm there will be no one at the reception and you need physical keys to enter into the property.

- Erich (10/5): - The Lodge was exactly what we expected. Very clean and perfect for our 2 night stay. It was just my wife and I but there was enough room for two more in the upper loft which is quite spacious. We elected to stay in the murphy bed in the living room because the stairs to that lower level were easier to climb than the ladder to the loft but the loft was a great space. Our host was very helpful with our late check-in. Check out as as simple as leaving the keys at the office desk. We'll definitely be back.

(did not expect that and did not like). bedroom: you had to go up a ladder, not a normal room, you could only crawl to the bed. bed was comfortable. kitchen with the basics but not much else (we did not see coffee) so bring what you need / want. no staff there when we checked in. When we checked out, we were not even asked if we had a nice stay. Checkout time was 10 am and at 9.30 we already had the cleaning lady at the door wanting to clean the studio. bedroom - you can sit but not stand. studio was in the basement. Planning a ski trip to Aspen in the near future but would not stay here again.

Facilities were great. Only small issue would be that the bed and pillows weren't very comfortable. It was a fold out bed to maximise the room size but it wasn't the most comfortable and pillows were flat.

Love the full kitchen and everything you needed. Off street free parking. 4-8 was a little noisy and busy across the street. Over privileged brats were being picked up and dropped off for hockey practice. It was beautiful out so we had the balcony slider open. If it was closed, wouldn't have known the noise. Hotel itself, no complaints.

He moved us the next morning and the second room was much better. He was as helpful as he could be. Off-season construction did not help. Di not provide a warm, fuzzy experience.

The only thing that we were not happy with was the smell. Not sure if it was the carpet but we had to have the sliding door open to get fresh air (and a scented candle). Because it was the cheapest option we could find we let the smell go.
- Ivana (10/5): Cute Condo With Great Views! - We loved our stay at Shadow Mountain Lodge. It was nicer than the pictures. We were expecting one room with a Murphy bed, but hat we got was three unique levels with a spectacular view. Management made sure we were able to access our condo even after closing which is when we arrived. We didn’t get to use the outdoor heated pool, but it was very nice and clean. The location was perfect. We didn’t drive anywhere the whole time we stayed. We walked to town and to great walking/hiking trails. Everything was so convenient. I can’t wait to visit again and I will definitely stay here again.

- Evan (10/5): Aspen Mountain Retreat - The condo was outstanding. Spacious, beautifully furnished, and wonderful large balcony with mountain views. Heated pool and sauna. Laundry room on site. Check in process was a breeze with Anders. Unit contained a loft sleeping quarters with queen bed off entry/mudroom. Beautiful spacious bathroom with nice shower. Full kitchen with small table and chairs and granite bar with bar stools. The bar overlooked the living room with queen Murphy bed. The living room was always basked in light from the large glass sliders that opened to the balcony. Highly recommended. Walking distance to everything downtown and right on the side of the mountain. Very quiet.
- Jeffrey (10/5): Spring break getaway - The condo was more spacious than expected and was adequately equipped with cookware etc. It was in a quiet part of town but walking distance to downtown and near shuttles to the ski areas. The pool was a nice temperature too. The kids (11 and 13) really enjoyed the loft but the ladder would be too steep for younger ones. The mountain view was an added bonus. A great place and value all around and would recommend for others.

Our only wish is that they would have provided shampoo and conditioner, as we didn’t think to bring them since it was advertised as a hotel.

The location is within walking distance to town and a bus stop to the different ski mountains is blocks away. The loft area has a low ceiling, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the pool was nice and hot.

Loft area with very low ceilings and can imagine it would difficult to use for adults, but the unit can easily accommodate a large group. 10 minute walk to slopes or 1 block from bus stop. Perfect place for our stay with reasonable rates.

Maid service only once since check in, we were there for 4 days. No shampoo or body wash, soap was provided. Never saw an on site manager or desk employee in 4 days, check in was done by an envelope outside of the office with your name on it.
