- J7166IZheidis (10/5): Best place in Sumner - Ive had a special attachment to this wonderful lil place. I had my family visits here for years. It provides an area for kids that is safe, and plenty of ample parking. Has a Mexican restaurant with in walking distance, there are shopping and banking amenities within in walking distance. The employees go out of their way to serve you. They have a dog park and accept animals. It very affordable for those who need it to be.
- Amadeo (10/5): -
- harold (9/5): - We have stayed here many times and have been pleased every time!
- Monica (6/5): - Always accommodating for us and our dogs! Well all was good until I left a bad review about my experience and now I'm banned from the motel!!! WWOW THOUGHT THATS WHAT REVIEWS WERE FOR! FREEDOM OF SPEECH!
- Nicks (9/5): - The bathroom smelt musty but the room was great!
- Surendra (9/5): I like it nice and quiet …. - Good Good
- Brad (3/5): - About the only thing I liked was the location to stores and restaurants The mattress was old and I could feels the springs. The pillows were hard as a rock. There were zero places to hang clothes. There no hooks anywhere, especially in the bathroom to hang a towel. The dog next door was barking most of the night.
- Lorna (3/5): Dated, dark motel. Good location. - Very very nice staff. People, extremely helpful. The location was amazing. The rooms were extremely old and dated, very shabby furniture with a metal bed, there were dead ants in the bathroom, stains on the bedspread. Very dark, low lighting. Just a very depressing place.
- Helen (6/5): - Bed to hard. No blow dryer

- Michael (7/5): was nice but too much micromanaging beforehand - It was peaceful the town is quaint Odd matched rooms Ione had carpet the other not. was told I needed to call after id booked not paid but that was worrying to know if after 7- 10 hrs travel if I had a place to stay was told on message that rooms I ordered were not available but they were when I arrived just the oddest system

- Boyden (1/5): Bad owner - The actual workers are great The owner has actively violated the Americans with Disabilities Act.
My animals are emotional support animals and are prescribed medication for my P.T.S.D.; all the previous times I have stayed here i have paid an excessive pet fee every time, sometimes even being charged extra once i leave the property. This time, after I provided the proper documentation, he still tried to charge me a pet fee and threatened an attorney.
If possible I need him reported for bad business practices, I am currently working on filing for discrimination.
- Boyden (4/5): - I already have to pay almost as much for my dogs in fees as I do for me and my wife (60+tax/night)only to have the owner charge my card without my permission after I check out an extra 10+ for an extra dog fee. I leave my room clean every time and always pick up after my dogs, 2 of them are also emotional support animals for my ptsd so I shouldn't be getting charged either way for 2 minimum. I only continue to stay because I'm homeless and have to housing options
- Tambria (5/5): - Nice small town location $10 added on to the prepaid price, no in room coffee
- Boyden (6/5): - Front end manager; she is why it's a higher score Not clean, door hard to close
- Kevin (8/5): - Room was clean. It was relatively quiet
- Rick (8/5): - The parking area is well lit at night and felt our vehicle was safe. They have a large area for dogs, although they could use a dog station with poop bags. Fortunately we had our own. Also there is a lot of thistle in the grass and the dogs were hopping around when they stepped on them. Wouldn’t want small children running around barefoot!😊
- Saul (10/5): - Everything was well and it was exactly what we needed.
- Allan (6/5): - It was ok for a business trip stay. Sketchy area. Police were there both days for disturbances. I wouldn’t recommend for families. I recommend El Charro Mexican restaurant just outside the parking area.
- Kim (10/5): - Always a pleasure 😀
- Michael (10/5): - Quick overnight trip. This place is easily accessible and has everything you need — clean, quiet, and attentive staff. I would come here again.
- Steven (8/5): - Clean, cozy, and comfortable. Could not find any restaurant nearby for breakfast.
- Mary (7/5): -
- Kim (10/5): They remember and treasure me! - Without messaging or asking, the reservation manager put us in our favorite room! It’s nice to be remembered and given special treatment! N/A
- Steven (6/5): - Having problem with Expedia virtual credit card confirmation.
- Holger (9/5): Gute Lage, sauber- aber Prei und Leistung passt nicht . - Gut gelegen
Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit Preis zu teuer
Kein Kaffee oder Tee auf dem Zimmer

- A9501KTanitab (4/5): Needs updating - Older budget friendly Motel. Rooms pleasently large, Beds reasonably comfortable and great pillows.
However, it needs a lot of updating. We were there for 3 days and had to go to the office and ask for the maids to bring us clean towels and empty our garbage. There was no closet to hang our clothing in so had to use the shower bar. There were ants all over our bathroom, and our floors were so dirty it was obvious it had not been mopped in quite awhile. Could not even walk to the bathroom without getting our feet black. We had to shake the ants out of our clothes before we packed and still managed to pack a few home. Would not recommend staying here until some updating and pest control is taken care of.
- Miller (8/5): Good coffee, nice clean room. - The lady's were so nice ,except 1 rude one.nice place, good people. A woman at the desk with short hair, light colored. Didn't have any people skills. Would not try to help. Would not stop what she was doing to assist. Rude
- Niumaga (10/5): - Nice and close to work
- Daniel (6/5): - A little run down. Good price.
- kim (7/5): -
- Niumaga (10/5): - Close to work, and nice place and clean.
- Mikhail (8/5): -
- Misty (10/5): - The owner was very polite we might come back again sometime.
- shop99er (4/5): Stayed here for the Highland Games in Enumclaw this year. Staying somewhere else next year. - This started off poorly, and went downhill.
I had made a reservation for a double queen room. My email confirmation from the motel said I had a DQ room, for two adults, for 2 nights. Price was $190 per night. The guy at the desk flat told me no, that was wrong (?!?). So, we wound up with a single queen. Confirmation from this joint clearly means nothing.
So, we go in the room and look around. Small fridge, small microwave, minimal lighting, no coffee pot, no place to hang shirts and costumes, and no place to hang wet face towels, bath towels, or wash cloths. Temperature control on the shower was chancy, at best.
No breakfast unless you wanted to buy something from a machine in the lobby. Allegedly, there was free coffee in the lobby from 6-11 am. Of course, this assumed the lobby was open during that time. I tried at 9, and again at 10:30. Lobby was locked both times.
At least the a/c worked well, and the bed was fairly comfortable.
Never again.
- Lana (5/5): - Clean and bed comfortable. Had downstairs room and people above us made alot of noise. Kept waking us up. Sounded like water
running and scraping floors. No coffee maker in room. Ice machine scuzzy looken.
- Niumaga (10/5): - So quiet and peaceful
- Dave (6/5): Pleasant - The location is relatively quiet. It is not on a major highway. There was no place to hang clothing. That was disappointing.
- Julia (8/5): -
- patrick (8/5): - The room was clean and very functional.
- Peter (4/5): - Way overpriced for the room
- Roy (4/5): Shower was only good thing to report - Internet didn’t work, TV service terrible
- Lamour (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shujing (5/5): Not worth the money I paid for this place. - The location The room was very smelly, and I do not think the bed-sheet was changed from the previous visitors. The price for this place was way too high.
- Dmetro (7/5): Good - The staff was very helpful in allowing us in after normal hours due to a very late flight .
- Loves (10/5): Extremely well, my fiance and I had a lot of fun - Place was very cozy, close to the town for exploring. Overall very nice!
- Rosalio (5/5): Poor - Honestly, the condition of the room is really poor , and the bathroom is really ugly 😕 and has no coffee at all. Honestly, I don't recomended
- Bj (8/5): - Property and room was clean, staff was very friendly and polite.
- Irene (8/5): - Very clean and quiet, reasonably priced
- Aaron (1/5): Bad - Place is a shit hole with hookers everywhere was even strong armed out of 50 dollars by the owner who also kept us up all night yelling at his employee every piece of furniture in our room was busted to sh!t none of this is exaggerated Room staff cleanliness there's nothing I liked about the sh!thole
- Birkhead (8/5): Very good - Comfortable room, conveniently located. Spectacular fireworks all around us on July 4th!
- Valerie (4/5): Disappointing - Sumner town center was close and really lovely, I would recommend the bookstore The tile and grout was falling apart in the bathroom. One of the tiles was lifting up and wiggling when stepped on. The metal floor transition was peeling up and screws were sticking out. No hairdryer. Bed was uncomfortable and they only had 2 flat pillows on a queen bed. Paint was peeled off the walls and there were multiple discolored sections on the walls.
- Ben (6/5): - The lady that ran it was real nice. But it was not 5.7 mi from WhiteWater Amphitheater like it said. It was like 25 or 30 lbs away which made a long drive after the concert.
- Brooke lyn (10/5): Great Place to stay … - Amazing staff . Christy is very nice as well as the rest of the staff ( I’m sorry I don’t remember anyone’s name ), the owner makes sure everything is in order , the area is great !
- James (10/5): - Very Clean very quiet great stuff very much highly recommended to all looking for a great priced place to stay.
- Sandra (6/5): - Units need some updating. No iron, no closet or rack to hang clothes, no blow dryer. We booked for 4 guests and only issued 2 sets of towels. Only coffee/tea is provided in lobby. Just very bare bones.
Area was peaceful. Staff very quick to bring us more towels.
- Shaun (4/5): - Checkin was a hassle . Front-desk 'close' 1am ,which was not mentioned . We got in at 12:34 am . Asking for an extra towel was like pulling your own teeth . Room has TONS of damage : Bathtub , broken vent , damaged door , broken doorlock . I am hoping that I can upload photos later . The value of the hotel felts like one of thoses $59/night places .Would not stay here again .
- Russa (8/5): Good value - I chose this bc they offered 3 queen size beds. The room was a good size. Beds not very comfortable. Lobby was locked when I arrived at 5pm and had to wait for someone to come but then check in was efficient. It seems like people live in the motel rooms. Quick trip to airport
- Herman (8/5): - The rooms were clean but needed a serious refresh on equipment. Water pressure was not that great, but looking at the age of the property, wasn't really a surprise. Stayed on the bottom floor of a two-level and could hear the upstairs occupants stomping around. No real amenities aside from a mini fridge and microwave. One thing that disappointed me was my room did NOT have anywhere to hang my clothes. Customer service was excellent.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff is amazing , great location , old motel that has been maintained very well . Rooms were very clean, property is kept clean of debris exterior also . The Mexican restaurant next door , not so good , take the time and go down a block or two( same side of the road ) to the Mexican store / restaurant.
- Christina (10/5): - 1
- Mary Jo (6/5): - Nothing fancy
- A2546XJmarcosr (10/5): A great little Motel - A great little Motel in a quaint little town. Great for a stay on the to/fromMt. Rainier, Crystal Mountain, hiking in the Cascades, or Lake Tapps. The management and staff are very friendly and super helpful. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Walkable to many restaurants and shops.
- Tk (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jenni (6/5): - Staff is friendly
- Johnson (8/5): Very good -
- Jeanette (10/5): - Nice and easy stay. Clean room, working appliances(fridge/AC/microwave/ect)
- 723paritoshs (10/5): Budget friendly welcoming motel. - Sumner Motor Inn offers great value and a convenient location. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, making for a pleasant stay. Rooms are clean and well-equipped with essentials like a fridge and microwave. While an older property, it's perfect for budget-conscious travelers seeking comfort and accessibility. I'd definitely recommend it for a straightforward, welcoming experience.
- Tim (6/5): - It was ok. Nothing fancy
- CHRISTOPHER (2/5): - Dirty rooms woth bugs
- Alex (8/5): - Pleasant and quaint
- Jay (8/5): Very good -
- Greg (5/5): Bad wifi - Wifi was a constant issue the entire stay
- Ellen (8/5): - close to my friends
- Lowell (10/5): - Clean and convenient
- Tricia (10/5): - My rating is based on this as a budget, 2-star motel. There is nothing wrong with a 2-start place, as long as your expectations are adjusted to that standard. We needed a simple one-night place to stay while at a tournament at Bonney Lake High School and we did not plan to be in the room much. Price was a significant consideration.
The room was clean and basic. There were some signs of wear, but it had also been updated recently and with some care.
It is a motel with two stories. Our second level room opened onto the upper walkway and overlooked the ample parking lot. This made my teenage daughter nervous, but I felt adequately safe on the second floor with a deadbolt. YMMV.
We got in at about 9:30 p.m. and left by 7:00 a.m. During that time there was no unusual noise from the other guests or in the parking lot.
Our check-in and check-out were handled cheerfully and smoothly by the staff in the office. There is complimentary coffee available and a selection of candy and snacks to purchase.
All in all, a good, basic stay. I would recommend this motel to others with the same level of expectations.
- Alaa (10/5): - Just wonderful and right near the place that I was visiting.😀👍
- Aaron (6/5): Pleasant - Bed was about 10 inch thick with springs hard no internet EVER no internet EVER I went to the front and asked about it they said it's always like this there's nothing they can do but there is take wifi out of your listing
- Betsy (7/5): Good -
- Marci (10/5): - Super cute little place with incredible staff!!
- Mark (8/5): - A hive little motel, quiet, safe and close to lots of dining options. And very walkable.
- Ramon (8/5): Very good -
- Keith (8/5): Very good -
- Mcmahon (4/5): Wouldn't stay there again! - Clean room and comfortable bed. Lots of noise in rooms above us and was afraid to complain. No place to hang any clothes. Needed plunger before using the bathroom. Paper only clogged. Two locks were broken on front door and chain on lock was missing.
- Coy (8/5): - Good
- Dheyaa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shalda (8/5): Fun times - For what it was I can't really complain. No coffee in the room.
