The rooms are comparatively bigger than most other hotels in HK. Great for family. We have tried both towers and they are both very good. It is not in the city but still a very handy location

Having Coles directly across the road was incredibly convenient, and the train station is only a short 7-minute walk away, making it easy to get around the city. The area felt lively, central, and perfect for both short and longer stays. Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Melbourne. room could be bigger. small tv

• Mark (8/5): Was there for three nights work, really enjoyed the room, it was small but all I really spent time there for was to slee - Awesome shower, room very quiet considering it’s opposite a major set down stop for busses. Walking distance to most inner city places, trains, busses, light rail, shops etc (Coles across road, QVB half a block). Check in a breeze, friendly staff and a quick lift.

Shower had two heads with strong water pressure. Blackout curtains that cover the whole window. Sleeping in a pitch dark room was really peaceful. The rooms themselves were built well. I did not hear one neighbour or any street noise. My room had a king bed and small fridge. Two cafes across the street. Pick the left. Better coffee. I stayed in 510. 4 nights. None.

• Amanda (9/5): Great location and nice, comfortable rooms with all the basics. - Location was central to everything in the CBD. Very convenient and only needed to cross the road for dinner or groceries. There was no heat option on the air-conditioning in my room, and it got cold as it got later into the night. I didn't have a spare blanket in the room and when I called reception, it rung out and noone picked up. That was the only issue I experienced. Everything else was great.

• Andrew (8/5): great value for money and location - for the price I paid and my business events in the CBD is was perfectly placed. I could hear a slight rumble of the train but it didn't bother me. The room was a bit of a squash and squeeze and the TV small but for the price I paid it was fine. Staff were helpful TV could have been a touch bigger but no biggy

• TA (8/5): Overall, great rooms, amenities and friendly staff. More thorough cleaning needed though. - The room was easy to find and the staff were excellent and friendly. The room itself was enough for 2 people, the beds and amenities were great. The lift was spacious enough for large luggage and multiple people. The hotel is in the middle of the city and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Needed a more thorough cleaning. There were cobwebs on the ceiling and smudges on the windows and, dust and trash under the beds.
• Julie (10/5): The best customer service! It is budget accommodation at its finest! - The staff were super friendly. I was handed a bottle of water and upgraded to a bigger room. The rooms are basic but the bed was very comfortable. It was clean and suited exactly what I wanted. The location was amazing as it is in the heart of the city and i was travelling for work in the city. They also held my bag until i returned to collect. Great value for money! I honestly cannot fault anything.

Exceptional Service: The staff were incredibly friendly and provided a generous, complimentary upgrade from a single to a king room. Peaceful Sleep: The rooms feature excellent soundproofing against street noise and neighbours, with high-quality blackout curtains for total darkness. Modern Amenities: The bathroom was recently renovated, featuring fantastic shower pressure and plenty of fresh towels. Functional Design: Although the room was cozy, the layout was smart and didn't feel cramped. Perfect for a home base while exploring the city. The main railway runs directly beneath the hotel. While the soundproofing blocks outside noise, you will notice a constant low rumble from the trains (though it is relatively mild).

Il est ausso possible de prendre un bus jusqu'à Bondi beach. Ma chambre individuelle etait dans un escalier de secours ce qui n'est pas dérangeant mais la fenêtre donnant sur la cour intérieure ne s'ouvrait pas.

• Ian Shelley Sasha Pugal (10/5): Central location with affordable rates - Such a sweet hotel. They gave me a bottle of wine with a note as a welcome gift and the wine even tasted nice. In addition, I was also very happy that they gave me a room upgrade without me even asking. It is a quiet hotel and the housekeeping staff are really good at what they do. It is centrally located. A very short walk to the Queen Victoria Building as well as many other attractions such as the Sydney Tower Eye, the Sydney Town Hall, Hyde Park, Saint Mary's Cathedral, Darling Harbour, and many more. I also just walked going to Chinatown and even the Sydney Opera House. For such a central location, this hotel is really a great value for money. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom very clean. The room had everything that I needed. I really think that Megaboom City Hotel is a gem and you are fortunate if you get to stay with them. It is such a good thing to have a hotel like this in such a location as it gives travellers on a budget a really good choice. All good.

The curtains block the light very well. The bathroom is new and lovely and clean. The air conditioning works well. The location was great. It is good value. Although the wallpaper was old i didn't mind as I was only there to sleep before heading off for appointments.
