Guest Reviews
- 930clarek (4/5): Disappointing Choice Inn - Reception staff here were exceptionally friendly & welcoming.
However the standard of the rooms was below anything we experienced elsewhere on our trip. Whilst the rooms were clean & serviced daily, the bedding was of poor quality, the socket fixtures were loose on the wall with the plug of the kettle held together with sellotape. The most disappointing feature of the hotel was an extremely limited breakfast. The location was excellent being only a short walk from the shopping area with good restaurants & also being close to the lakeside.
- Mehedi Hasan (8/5): - I liked it overall
- RGaonkar (10/5): Great place to stay while in pokhara - This is a good property just alongside the lake. The rooms are very spacious and the staff is very courteous. We stayed here for two nights and would specifically mention about FO staff Ms. Laxmi Kunwar who explained us well about what to shop and where to look out for it.
- stepheneH5402EP (6/5): No hot water, intermittent WIFI and dog barking all night within hotel grounds - I personally wouldn’t bother with this place. No hot water, intermittent WIFI . A dog barked most of the night which is locked within the grounds while reception stay sleep downstairs while guests don’t sleep in the hotel. Why wouldn’t the reception staff just let the dog out and maybe we could get some sleep.
- saibabar2024 (10/5): Super hotel - The rooms are clean and spacious. Special thanks staff his team of talented man who were all very attentive to make our stay enjoyable.
Mr.Suku, also guided us on how memorable we can make our visit to Pokhara. The bathroom was so clean and big.
- 72bipinl (10/5): Amazing hotel - Amazing views of the fewa lake and Machhapuchre mountain from the room. and I also got a nice view of Taal Barahii temple. The staff were friendly, When I arrived early in the morning, my booked room wasn't ready, but they quickly provided another room for me to freshen up. I really appreciated their hospitality. Highly recommended.
- pujag701 (10/5): Excellent - Best hotel to stay.Very kind staff,good facilities, delicious breakfast,nice location
The view of the fishtail from the roof top is best.overall choosing Pokhara choice in to stay is the best decision. Very good staffs with a smart manager.
A great place and great value for money.
- kishoreg981 (10/5): Everything was excellent - Most of all I liked staff, all of them are extremely careful and kind, manager Suku cared so much, I felt like I'm at home. Thank you a lot :) Also the size of the room is quite spacious. The price is very affordable to what you get. Hotel is in the center but in silent area, so I could sleep nice every night.
- suprima2024 (10/5): Everything excellent - Excellent service and hotel staff are very nice they are warm welcome. They have lift we staying 3th floor room front side mountain in front of sarangkot and fishtail mountain we saw.
And the hotel manager are so helpful man, he is all the time smiling 😊
- 802iant (6/5): Mixed experiences - Ideal location near to lake, shops and eateries. Rooms are spacious and clean and ours had a pleasant balcony with some view of the mountains The young team of staff around the hotel were all very pleasant and welcoming. Unfortunately the water pressure on the shower and lack of hot water was disappointing as was the breakfast choice where any hot options were cold even though we were reasonably early in the breakfast time window. We stuck to toast and cereal on day 2 and overheard other guests who had reached same conclusion.
- stefferrari8 (10/5): Great experience at Choice Inn, Pokhara - The Choice Inn in Pokhara is a great place to stay as base for the trekking around Annapurna. The quality of the structure and the service provided are superb. Each room is equipped with independent and high-speed wifi connection to the internet. The personnel is extremely nice and friendly, always ready and available to help. Breakfast is good with a wide choice of salty and sweet food. The view of the Annapurna range from the roof top is unique. Definitely the best choice to stay in Pokhara.
- Wing Hang (10/5): - Easy location and nice view
- sohailoo7 (10/5): Paid for the location. - Good hotel, AC, good staff, good price, and most importantly, it is very near to lakeside so you don’t have to walk too far every day to visit key areas in lakeside.
However food is a relatively expensive in that area. So, if you’re on a very very tight budget, this is something to consider.
- santanu2017 (8/5): Good 3* Hotel - Good hotel with good service. Very good cooperative staffs with a smart Manager. Awesome food quality. Wish to stay there again. Location is good. Just walking distance from Fewa lake. Full view of Fishtail top from roof and balcony. Great location.
- kayb774 (10/5): Awesome stay - My brother and I spent two nights here and we have nothing but rave reviews. An excellent location close to the lake and all the amenities of shopping and dining etc. that you could want. The staff was exceedingly accommodating and bent over backwards to ensure that everything was to our liking. They went out of their way to accommodate my dietary restrictions because of allergies and the food on site was absolutely delicious. I would love to have the opportunity to stay here again. The room was spacious and clean with no shortage of hot water. We were totally satisfied.
- sohils271 (10/5): Memorable stay at Pokhara Choice in - Had a great stay at Phokara Choice inn. Check- in process was quite easy . The rooms are clean and spacious. Special thanks to Mr. Suku and his team of talented girls who were all very attentive to make our stay enjoyable.
Mr.Suku, also guided us on how memorable we can make our visit to Pokhara.
- Chandra Shekhar (8/5): - The hotel is located amidst other several new hotels, not at Phewa lake shore but inside the 14th Street about 300 m away from Lake side Road at Pokhara, which is more than 800 m away from Fewa lake shore.
The property is more hyped for its facilities, breakfast etc but the breakfast have only few items, was not very hygienic. Passing on the Slice or equivalent mango flavoured drink as option for fruit juice. There were cockroaches roaming around the dining area, what to say about the kitchen. The request made for providing tea bags and milk sachets and any other thing was unheeded and simply ignored...The room price was extremely high in name of club room, compared to similar other new properties in surroundings. There was no vegetarian food available at this hotel, hence we have to take dinner and lunch at outside restaurants.... Though electric kettle provided in the room, but there was no tea and coffee kit made available except few sugar sachets, no milk sachets provided...There was no room boys help available. The receptionist herself doing all the chores. No welcome drink...!!! This hotel could not be a star rated hotel but a simple budget property with exorbitant prices....!!
- zaitons2022 (10/5): Very highly recommended. Clean and tip top service from all friendly staff - Our stay at Choice Inn was delightful. We were welcomed warmly and Vishnu was very helpful and polite.
The room was spacious, super clean and cosy.
Kettle, mineral water, hairdryer were provided.
The washroom was large with a partition for shower area.
Everything was a breeze, we enjoyed staying for 2 nights and also accomodate to our early breakfast 6.45am.
It was like more than personalized service overall. Highly recommended.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍🙂
- JessL0nd0n (10/5): Fantastic staff, location and value - We loved our stay at Choice Inn in Pokhara. Fantastic location, really comfortable room and the most amazing staff. After trekking the Annapurna Sanctuary and going up to ABC we were so thrilled with a really hot shower with good water pressure! The staff couldn't do enough for us and were so friendly. A great place and great value for money.
- Kiki (10/5): - It was delightful. Staff was amazing. Loved the room as breakfast. Very comfy and clean!
- Amit748397 (10/5): Very pleasant stay at Pokhara Choice Inn - ...
”Very pleasant stay” I would stay there again and recommend it to others. "Thank you for this experience! Amazing friendly staff and clean rooms. The FEWA lake is just like a next door. Would again return for a stay at this hotel."❤️❤️❤️ (AKK)
- sivakumarv2017 (8/5): A Modern Hotel in the Second important City of Nepal - Pokhara Choice Inn is in a very prominent place in Pokhara. You have banks, pubs, restaurants of various types, entertainment halls, and money exchange kiosks very close.
The Hotel rooms are very comfortable with all the requirements in place. Very safe key systems to rooms. Food is very good. Free breakfast. If needed, you could get the same packed for you to carry.
Very helpful Staff and in toto we had a memorable stay.
- 643umeshk (10/5): Best hotel in Pokhara city, masala chai was the best one I ever had here - Me and my friends stays in the hotel for 4 days breakfast and dinner was excellent and staff was polite and helpful
I would recommend this hotel to everyone who what’s to have pleasant stay in the Pokhara city
- MeghanaLama (10/5): Fantastic location, excellent customer service - The hotel is located very close to the lake and as such has fabulous views from the rooms. The shopping/eating hub is under 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The rooms themselves are comfortable, large and very clean. Breakfast had a good spread and the in-room dining had plenty of options as well. The winner however, was the customer service - the staff was always ready to help us with a smile and went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. Special thanks to Manish and Sukku for being wonderful hosts.
- Alex (10/5): Great place to stay - Nice place, welcoming staff, good location and excellent breakfast.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The Choice Inn Pokhara was a great place to stay - comfy beds, great breakfast and located in a great spot. Would stay again
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The hotel was ok, but the staff was a top notch.
Everyone from manager named Suku to counter personal to kitchen staff were friendly, accommodating, and eager to serve with a smile.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Everything was great except the food. Breakfast was so bad we paid to eat breakfast out instead of eating free at the hotel. The rest of food was ok at best. For the money it was a good hotel but make sure you eat out.
- martha (10/5): - Everyone at the hotel has been so helpful! Can’t thank them enough.
Comfortable, clean, and great location.
- Stella (10/5): The right choice in Pokhara - My friend and I had a pleasant stay at Pokhara Choice Inn. The room was clean and we were able to check in before the check in time. The reception staff and cleaners were all wonderful, helpful and friendly. They were efficient in helping us organise different activities we wanted to do. Hotel amenities were sufficient. The location was not on the main road, which meant the noise level was very minimal. Highly recommended!
- Arindam (10/5): - All staff were friendly. Location was excellent.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent welcoming staff. I forgot my mobile phone in my room and left to another city. The receptionist Miss Johthi, she managed to contact me and sent my phone to my workplace. Very helpful staff. I definitely visit again. Thank you
- A (10/5): - We had a great experience staying 3 nights at Pokhara Choice Inn. From the start, we arrived an hour early to the airport and when we called the hotel to inquire about pick up, staff Sukti told us to just grab a taxi to the hotel and he took care of the payment. All staff members seem to really try their best to ensure that guests have a positive experience there. Staff Jodie always came up to ask how we were doing whenever she saw us. The hotel is located in a great spot, just a few steps from the busy Lakeside road. It was easy to walk to the lake from there. All in all, we had a nice stay and would highly recommend this place!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Had a lovely stay here, staff were friendly, hotel is located in a great location. Breakfast was quite average but overall we Had a great stay!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Surprisingly nice place to stay. Hotel staff are willing to go a long way to make you feel comfortable. Rooms are clean and up to date. Room rates are more than OK for this standard.
- Brauser (8/5): - Good hotel in desirable area close to lake, shops and restaurants. Of 6 days stay had only 2 days room service.
- Dean (10/5): Clean and comfortable - Good clean comfortable stay...very clean bathroom and nice hotel staff.
- Danny (6/5): - I spent two nights but the my room was never cleaned and towels were never replaced.
- Verified traveler (8/5):
- SR (10/5): Great accommodations very comfortable - The staff was very helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. After trekking being out in the city for the day it was a nice retreat.
- sue (8/5): An ideal location, close to restaurants and shops - It was an excellent experience, I emailed them in advance about my time of my arrival and they were very prompt in responding back. I got there much before the check in time. Also I requested for a room with a nice view. Since it was an off season time, not only the receptionist Jyoti accommodated me with the early check in, she upgraded my room to a delux room with a balcony and an amazing lake view.
Jyoti and the rest of the staff were very helpful at all time. She arranged all the sight seeing events upon my request. She was very mindful of keeping the cost as low as possible.
The room was with AC and very clean.
- xhixhi (10/5): Great small hotel - Hostel type great small hotel for quick stay at pokhara. No garden but enough parking area. Interiors gone crazy with the decorations, still you get great sleep at night. Breakfast was very basic.
- Janice (10/5): - Need to improve on breakfast. Taste and quality
- Verified traveler (10/5): Fantastic - The service was excellent. It was like something you would expect at a very high end hotel in a major international city. The room was quite large, and the view from the patio was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again.
- Michelle (10/5): Totally Perfect - First of all this was the nicest hotel I stayed in in Nepal. Clean, cozy, delicious breakfast etc. What I really have to comment on is the service and care from the staff. Suku helped us with our trekking itinerary and even showed us where to buy some last minute trekking items. After our trek I unfortunately came back to the hotel with a fractured ankle. The manager Tirtha literally knocked on doors to find us a room with a bathtub. A nice couple moved for us and Tirtha moved our luggage with a smile. Excellent management, service, good and location. I simply don't know why you wouldn't stay here when in pokhara.
- Geoff (8/5): The right choice - Wonderful staff and convenient location!
- MD ARAFAT (10/5): - Everything was perfect
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great views - The hotel is in a great location close to dining, shopping, entertainment and while you are surrounded by beautiful mountains and a lake. The staff is friendly and very helpful and rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable and they have great pillows which you don’t always find in Nepal. This is my second time here and would stay here again the next time I come back. The only thing they could improve on is the coffee but hey it’s free!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice stay - Very friendly staffs. Very clean room. Slipper is provided. Room also has toiletries, kettle and a box of premium tissue paper which many other hotels don't have. Buffet breakfast menu is changed daily.
- Verified traveler (8/5): neues Hotel abseits des Trubels der Hauptstrasse - Pokhara ist die Aktivitärtenhauptstadt Nepals, man kann vieles machen, allerdings fast immer mit Veranstaltern
- Mike (10/5): Great hotel and very reasonable price. - Choice Inn Pokhara is a great place to stay when visiting Pokhara. Big rooms, good breakfast and very reasonably priced. Right in the main tourist area. I would highly recommend it.
- Harjeet (10/5): - Great place to stay ... clean and safe.
Welcoming smiles as always from all the staff.
Will sure come back if we are back in Nepal.... lov it.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good value for money - Average accommodation. Nice staff although not always efficient. Breakfast was basic but good; biggest disappointment was they only had instant coffee, no fresh brew. Had to ask each day to have the room cleaned; the one day we didn't ask, it wasn't cleaned. The location is good with a nice view if the lake and easy walk to restaurants and shops. This last comment is no fault of the hotel but if you come to Pokhara for mountain views there is a good chance you won't see any due to all the smog. We stayed 4 days but the visibility was only good enough one day to be able to see the Himalayan range.
- Kai (10/5): Loved this hotel - We stayed at Pokhara Choice Inn for 5 days in April and it was perfect. The woman who works at reception was especially helpful and kind, she really went out of her way to help us book flights and make sure we were well taken care of. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the rooms were comfortable and clean.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Convenient and Clean Hotel - Pokhara is a gorgeous place to visit. The hotel was in a great location and was very clean. There wasn't always hot water for showers but otherwise a pleasant stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Convenient and quiet. - Perfect spot for wandering around the Lakeside area and visiting local shops and eating places . Very quiet as on a side street.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very good location - Quite new hotel - would like to have more electric inlets and an exhaust fan in the bath room
- Kristin (10/5): Clean, new hotel with very friendly staff. - This is the cleanest hotel I have stayed in Nepal, and it is also new. We had a beautiful lake view from our balcony, the location is great. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Overall very good and comfortable hotel, we decided to come back for our stay after trek. The one thing that could be improved would be the breakfast in the hotel which was good some days, but others the food had been out in the buffet for a bit too long.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good service and friendly staff
clear and comfy room
nice stay in all!
- Vijay (6/5): Over all nice - Over all was a good stay. We had booked a club room for 2 of us but. We were first allotted a room on the 5th floor and that was facing a building which was under construction. On request we were allotted a room on the 4th floor that was much much better. Thanks the hotel staff for that. This was possible I guess as it was not high season. But other wise that side is not at work staying.
Also the rooms on the 4th and 5th floor facing the lake are better. Over all a nice stay. Rooms are okay, and location is good as it near the market place. Staff are very polite and always ready to help.
- Asiya (10/5): Loved it! - Pokahara Choice Inn is a very modern and clean hotel. We loved our stay there. Staff is extremely helpful. Location is great. The breakfast was actually pretty good at the hotel. Air conditioned rooms were a plus after spending time in budget hotels in Kathmandu. Would stay here again!
- Amit (10/5): Excellent Stay!! - The property is new and offer scenic views of mountain and lakes. One can sit in the balcony and enjoy that. The owner Mr Bhaskar was kind enough to arrange for the free airport pick up and drop and a nice gentleman to talk to. The staff is friendly and Jyoti at the reception was helpful in giving sight seeing tips and regularly checking on the stay.
Look forward for next visit. Keep it up.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good stay at Pokhara - Stay was good with very friendly and helpful staff. The reception Helped to book bus to kathmandu and went to the extent to ensure eveything's alright for the guests. But power tripped several times, hot water was limited and lift construction still not completed.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Unfinished hotel - This hotel should be good once it is finished but it isn't: the elevator hasn't been installed and instead there is just a big hole in the wall. That strikes as insanely hazardous for children and that is the reason for my low rating. Otherwise the hotel is quite modern with good shower. Service is a bit annoying as there are trying too hard to be nice: having someone ask me 10 times a day if everything is fine with the room ends up being unpleasant...
- Allison (8/5): Reasonable in a great location - Great place to stay, cant beat the price for the quality you are getting! The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good hotel, great service. - Stayed at hotel for 2 nights in February. One night before a trek and one night after -- they were very nice about storing our suitcases for us while we were on our trek. Staff was very helpful. They helped us arrange our tickets on Buddha Air back to Kathmandu. Lots of construction of a new building next door, a little noisy but it wasn't too bad. Breakfasts were great -- coffee, tea, juice, eggs, toast, granola, fresh fruit. Beds and linens great. Ran out of hot water in shower. They have generators for when the power goes out in town (and it is out a lot). No smoke detectors in hotel (but probably not in any hotel in Pokhara). Hotel is clean and safe and just a step from the main street by the lake. They seemed to be working on building an elevator in the hotel. Good location. Wifi worked. Really nice staff.
- Verified traveler (8/5): New and clean hotel - It is nice and clean simple hotel.
It has no elevetor which is under construction
If going with children, be careful because the construction place it is not properly secure
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very nice and new hotel - New and clean
Shower wifi and air conditioning worked perfectly
Hotel has solar panels, so when electricity cut off we still had power
Personnel were very nice and helpful.
They can make arrangements for different activities in Pokhara
The hotel does not have elevator which is under construction. This area is not safe for children.
