- Verified traveler (4/5): Has potential but I wont be back. Mold everywhere. - Pros: Pet friendly. Attentive staff. Free wifi. Smart TV. Porch with chairs to sit on. Microwave. Mini fridge and freezer. Large closet. Space heaters. A/C works very well. The sheets were stain free and smelled freshly cleaned. Cons: Check in camper is falling apart, holes in the floor and roof. Room has intense musty smell. One of the chairs at the table was broke, couldent even be used. Mold in multiple drawers. Mold in picture hanging in the bathroom Everything that was metal was rusted, even the lamps. The jacuzzi tub was so old the button to turn on the jets was brass and was rusted. The shower had lots of grout missing so you know there is mold growing. No hand soap was provided.

- Patricia (8/5): Cottage Stay - This was a great place with everything we needed near by, like home plenty room, huge bathroom & a wonderful arated tub. There's a moisture problem few mildew issues we burned a candle & wiped things down, that was too be expected with all the dampness in air. We'll stay here again
- Mark (4/5): - After spending 8 hours in the saddle (motorcycle) in full gear in 90 degree heat, I was looking forward to a nice cool hotel room! But they didn't even have the AC on! Grrrrrr. I'd expect after reserving a room they would have the AC on BEFORE I arrived. They also advertise a "whirlpool tub". THAT was a joke!

- Melissa (10/5): Hidden gem - The room was so clean and cozy. The beds were perfection and was perfect for us middle aged women with back issues and the kids loved it too. The owner was also kind and very helpful getting us checked into a clean room and we will definitely be back!! Oh they had a fireplace would love to come back in the winter

- Verified traveler (2/5): - Rented a cottage. Full of bugs, heat didn’t work, the electric heaters were an absolute joke as after running for hours it was still 57 degrees inside and below freezing outside. Tv didn’t work in the bedroom. Breaker kept popping for the bedroom the entire time. Finally just left around 10pm. Absolutely ruined the entire weekend getaway.
- Verified traveler (8/5): 1 night Only - The room itself was nice. It had 3 queen sized beds and everything was made nicely and the blankets/sheets were clean. The bathroom was tidy as well. The floors needed another sweep and mop though. And there was random pieces of short, black hair on most of the towels. Also, I recommend checking in when it is daylight as the check in office is a camper off to the side of a much bigger hotel and at night, it seems very sketchy even though it's not. The camper does not give the greatest first impression but we were pleasantly surprised with the room itself and ultimately enjoyed our stay and would stay again if the need ever arose again.
- Kayla (10/5): New family tradition - Visiting family for the holidays and not having to stay in a crowded home is why we’ll do this every visit. Incredibly fair price for what you get! We loved having space for our dogs to roam and being in our preferred neighborhood. We’ll be back for sure!

It was run down and people living next to the room we stayed in with car up on jacks and windows out of vehicle. Did not feel comfortable or secure staying but it was just a place to sleep as we traveled through the area.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Honest, Old Fashioned Accommodations - Old fashioned cabins where you're likely going to be next to another guest or family with just a wall between you, but very well kept and likely as clean as they can be for their age. The staff I'd dealt with was friendly and accommodating. My youngster was a bit uncertain at first because it was his first time at somewhere like this outside of church camp, but we had a great time and would recommend it to anyone who is comfortable with a cabin-style approach. If the wife is used to five star resorts you might need to look elsewhere, but if you just need a safe, clean place to sleep while you explore LBL or have other adventures, give this place a try.
- Katherine (4/5): - This listing is nothing the pictures present. We rented a 1-BR "cottage", which was depicted in the listing. It was a dumpy, off-the-road motel. Clean but totally dumpy, with broken interior lights, no plug-ins, a sink with broken parts, and definitely no kitchenette - just a microwave and fridge. The TV didn't work. Would not recommend.
- Michael (10/5): - My son and I took a fishing trip and this property was perfect for us. It was convenient to Kentucky Lake and the bed was comfortable for sleeping, since that is all we did at the property. We were upgraded due to few guests at this time of the year:)

- Twila (2/5): Beware... this is unkept and scary. - We didn't even stay here. The exterior was unkept. The check in guy showed up to a trailer that i didn't even think was part of the facility. The room he showed us had a roach running down the inside of the door. The pictures on the website are much nicer. Building behind the cabins look even worse. Inside unit very dated, but main concer was the roaches, gap under entry door and surroundings!
- Chiquita (4/5): - This property is pure trash. The office is an RV camper. The property is a mix of rooms to rent and people who actually live there. Outside will creep you out. The room itself was dirty. There were spiderwebs in the corner of the room. If you raise the pillows of the couch, there is junk in the couch. The refrigerator had mildew stains around the creases when you open it. The room itself smelled like mildew when you enter it, and was extremely stuffy to the point where I couldn’t get any sleep. This was the best looking room in the area. The rest look like prostitute trails.

- Sam (4/5): - This place is extremely run down. Apparently they rent some rooms out as apartments. We had a guy next to us that woke us up yelling with a lady that showed up at like 7:30am. Screaming he cheated on her and stole from her. It was sketchy place to say the least. Another thing our room’s door had previously been broken into. They had the wood piece just screwed back in. See photo attached. No dead bolt to help secure the door either. If you are looking somewhere for a family to stay this is not the place.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Twilight Zone - The cabin was really old. Had a heater sitting on a desk. Beside the cabin was the old KenBar resort. The parking lot was full of people who rent rooms by the week and they were a very noisy, drug looking crowd. We left after a few minutes and went to holiday inn in paducah. The lake rental does not match its web site. Wasted my money.
- Judy (10/5): Rustic and Friendly - The small cottage is a little rustic and very nice, clean and the king size bed sleeps amazing. We have stayed her twice in different seasons and have enjoyed our stay. The owner is very nice and friendly .
- Verified traveler (6/5): mixed feelings - owner was accomidating and room was fairly clean but honestly, the place is a giant dump site! none of the attractions save for ky lake and pattis were even in buissness anymore, our room had no heat- plywood batroom door. outside there was a dump site for appliances and 3 units were torn down and gpne except for foundations and fireplace chimneys! 2 were condemned, grass 13” tall and a trucks on blocks being repaired in lot in front of our room! there was also black mold behind toilet on wall and sheetrock busted arpund shower head! not a good one for you to reference

The rooms are advertised as non smoking but they can't control that people actually do smoke in the rooms. I smelled the smoke immediately upon entering the room and I had an asthma attack.

- Rhonda (6/5): Cute cottage like places - The manager/owner called ahead to verify our arrival time and upgraded us to a kitchenette for free. Upon our arrival, I inspected the room and although it was clean I chose not to stay. I had anticipated a pool for my preteen to enjoy and there was not one. Therefore, I chose a different hotel.

- Violette (2/5): Hotel From Hell - Was the worst it was non refundable so I was out the 80$ spent on the room but the room smelled so bad as was so nasty I literally turned my key back in within the first 10 minutes and went to another hotel pictures I uploaded are actual photos and look nothing like the photos on the website found bugs in the bathroom sink was just horrible wouldn't recommend this place to no one
- Disappointed (2/5): - Cheaper and misleading on computer and it showed after we got there. It was smelly and bathroom floor was very dirty. Bathroom door would not shut completely. Electric switch in closet without a cover. Parking lot was in bad repair. Cups setting out not covered. Sheets and pillow cases were nice and seemed fresh and clean. Would definitely not stay there again.

- Brandon (8/5): - If you’re looking for a property that’s close to Kentucky lake (.5 miles from Kentucky lake resort marina) and has a cheap price tag attached to it then this is your place. The room was good, the water pressure was good and everything was clean. I will say the kitchen could use some updated, mainly a bigger stove and better pots and pans to use. Also a burner was broken. All in all 4.5/5 stars, and we will be using them again.

- Verified traveler (2/5): - I did not stay at this location, it was stand alone cabins or whatever, behind a hotel with trash bags and junk cars next to an old bar, I was afraid to stay there cancelled my stay and paid 20% fee and drove home instead of staying there, wouldn’t recommend to anyone unless you are tough, not be confused with Kentucky state resort down the street, this May suit some people but not for us, I think the name says resort, not what I call it
