- Kathryn (10/5): Historic Gem on Route 66 - When we walked into our room a radio was playing ads from the early 50s and 60s. Enjoyed listening to them so much we never turned on the TV!! Also, the bed had the old Magic Fingers attachment where for 25 cents you got 15 minutes of massage. I remembered this from when I was a kid! The Route 66 decor and in-room treats were very much appreciated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. This is another must stay on historic Route 66! Also, recommend eating dinner at Las Chaparritas on Main Street.

- Teresa (10/5): Nice staff, clean and retro - Clean right on Route 66 had retro items and a fun spot to stay
- Karen (10/5): Cool vintage MCM vibes - The vintage MCM vibes were great. Retro radio playing vintage tunes upon arrival in the room was awesome. Little table & chairs outside the room was a nice touch.

- ROGER (10/5): I would stay there again and would recommend it to others. - The location was great.
The time period capture of 60s was well done, the radio playing older music from the 60s took me back in time when I was growing up listening to the same music. It was great.
- Ian (10/5): I wouldn’t have a problem staying here again - Checking in was so easy and welcoming .
Same day reservations and check in was not a problem . Room was super clean and comfortable.
I would definitely stay again when passing through Nothing
- Gail (9/5): Updated mid century charmer on Route 66! - Very nicely done Route 66 hotel with a mid century vibe. Felt like travel with my family when I was a kid in the 60’s. Comfortable bed. No coffee in the room although that was true in the 60’s too.
- stephaniedJ2613EW (10/5): Great for pups too! - Retro, quaint and located on the infamous Route 66, this hotel did not disappoint. We travel with our pups and the welcome was so nice. Dog yard, treats and a bowl and towel just for your pups! So perfect for our road trip. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. Great restaurants right down the street.

- Beignet_Patrol (10/5): Best for Your Fur Baby - We really liked this motel. It was simple, but the hospitality was outstanding. Lots of quaint vintage touches. The best part for us and our furry friend was the warm and personalized welcome for our dog. We appreciated the clean dog play yard so she could exercise her legs after a long day of traveling. Fun experience on historic Route 66. We ate at Del’s within walking distance for an additional vintage experience.
- jamie (9/5): -
- Leonard (10/5): Always stop here when I can - Super clean and nice All good
- PeeWee (8/5): Nice boutique hotel - Cute hotel, love the throw back vibe. Road noise was always present, but that be rectified unless new windows and doors are put in.
- Pete (10/5): Great place and very friendly people. Will stay here again when back in Tucumcari. - Check in was super fast. Parking is very close. Clean and easy to get to the room. Great place in great location.
- jimdL4099TF (10/5): A blast from the past! - Cross-country trip from FL to AZ for the holidays. Finding dog-friendly hotels that aren't super sketchy is hard. We originally booked at a hotel across the street that had a 4.5 Google rating. Entered to room and it was a hard NO.
I called The Roadrunner Inn and the fit us in for the night.
What a treat.
Retro room, clean, quiet, awesome dog run, firepit and the list goes on.
We'll definitely stay there on our return trip.
- Carol (10/5): It was a fun experience & we hope to be back!!! - Greeted with a very kind front desk staff. This was our first time to the property, really likes parking right in front of our unit. Even had the old key on keychain for entry. Our unit was lit up open arrival with music playing from the retro victrola. The interior had true magic vibes & it was clean as a pin and a quiet stay. The lobby has that nostalgic feel with souvenirs, along with complimentary tea/coffee and snacks for the road. The exterior lights along the walkway were illuminated all night making the room lightly lit.
- Alfred (10/5): - Second stay...very convenient easy in and out!
- Nathan (10/5): Sweet retro boutique Route 66 motel, bringing Tucumcari back to life - Fantastic retro-motel experience on old Route 66! So many well thought-out touches, like vintage radios playing old music and adverstisements from the 60s. Great, friendly staff. Free coffee in the lobby and great giftshop. Gas-powered fire pit was a nice touch for a chily evening. Tucumcari has seen better days... but this motel is a sign that people are trying to get it back up on its feet!
- Dennis (10/5): -
- Hallie (10/5): They were lovely and went out of their way to send us our daughter’s jacket after we left! What a wonderful establishmen - It was so cute! Very mid century modern. Nothing!

- Gary (9/5): Exceeded expectations - Getting older but well maintained. Some of the little things at the facility make you feel that they care about their customers. The person that checked us in was exceptional. Nothing really. It exceeded my expectations because I’d stayed in Tucumcari before.
- Moparjim (10/5): Clean and cool vintage place - We stayed at the Roadrunner Lodge while on our Route 66 trip. It was very clean and the owner was very friendly. We enjoyed visiting around the nice fire pit in the evening too. I can recommend it. Great vintage place to stay.
- Deanna (10/5): Love this Lodge! - Super cute property and very comfy accommodations. The front desk clerk Makayla gave us a smooth and friendly check-in. Great customer service and great hotel. Will definitely stay here again when passing thru 💚
- Robert (10/5): Great property and very clean. They even left moon pies for each guest. - Loved how everyone was so friendly and the amazing fire pit! - Paula (10/5): Kicking it up on 66! - Tucumcari is a favorite stop for my husband and I while traveling West! The Roadrunner Lodge is a vintage GEM, full of special nostalgic touches! We arrived a bit early and was pleasantly surprised to find comfortable outside furniture on a small lawn to kick up our feet and enjoy the Arizona sun! At check-in, we found our room to be super clean and very well cared for, including its signature Route 66 radio show, two comfy chairs and tasty Moon Pies left out for us to enjoy, as an evening treat! The small museum and gift shop was a nice treat! We'll be back again to Get Our Kicks on 66!

- Voyager60974348103 (10/5): Time Travel To Tucumcari - Our room was very clean and classically furnished. Parking right outside the door was convenient. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. This made for an enjoyable relaxing step back into the ‘50s and a chance to reset before continuing our journey.

- Charles (10/5): - Our check in was excellent even after reserving our room just 5 minutes prior to arriving! David at the front desk was just a great guy and directed us to a great restaurant. Del’s on Route 66 is a great eatery!
- A881PHjohnnym (10/5): Wonderful charming and clean - I visited the Roadrunner motel yesterday while conducting some personal business in the area. This motel is wonderful. My wife loved the cleanand charming decor.
I travel a lot and while larger chains advertise reward points, I thought this place provided a wonderful memory. I didn’t get to use the fire pit at night but I thought it to be a great place to meet people from literally all over the world. I’m thinking of visiting again “just because”

Thank you for trying to contact me when I left my book in your reception,
Our room was very spacious, very clean and the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in!
Loved the theme of the hotel
- Wayne (10/5): - We were not able to arrive during normal check-in time. Dave made arrangements to help us out. Great customer service, nice nostalgic 60's motel. Already booked another stay on our way back through Tucumcari.
- rhondal519 (10/5): Outstanding Experience at the Roadrunner Lodge Motel - We can't find enough great things to say about this wonderful property! We traveled Route 66 last week and stayed at the Roadrunner Lodge Motel. Loved it so much we stayed again on our return trip! Everything the owners provide is so well thought-out from the rooms themselves, to the complimentary Moon Pies, to the Rambler with whitewall tires parked out front, and the radio station is icing on the cake. If you're traveling through Tucumcari, this is a must-stay. Thank you, Dave for your first-class hospitality. We LOVED IT! Rhonda and Dorothy.
- Aleta (10/5): - Really neat retro vibe. Amazing attention to detail. Super clean. Waaaaay better than staying at a plain hotel on the highway...for about the same price.

- Preston (8/5): Reminded me of traveling route 66 with my parents in the 50s. - The hotel room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the retro ambience with the old radio playing classic music and advertisements when we entered our room. Not a thing.
- Tommy Marshall (10/5): Great -
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We loved our stay at Roadrunner Lodge. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Great check-in experience and loved the Route 66 feel to the location.
- Iain (9/5): Worth a stop on a road trip - Nice retro vibe motel along Route 66. Clean and comfortable. I was only there one night, but served its purpose very well.
- Lee (10/5): - The staff has been great. Room and property very clean.
- Brittany (8/5): - I have stayed here before and really enjoyed it, however, this time was a little bit less magical. Upon arrival, the man at the front desk seemed annoyed that we had arrived, and wasn’t particularly welcoming. Instead of telling us anything about the property or anything like that he simply said “if you wanna know anything there’s a sheet on the bed for you.” I don’t know, I just felt really impersonal compared to last time. The room was pretty plain compared to previous rooms. I’ve stayed in, and the air conditioning did not work very well at all. It was quite hot in the room. The beds were very comfortable though and everything else worked just fine. Dining options in the area are very scarce so make sure that you keep that in mind when booking.
- Frederick (10/5): - Great
