• Judy (10/5): Eleuthera...a lovely Bahamian Island - Enjoyed my stay! Only 1000 feet from one of the best beaches on the island,and they had beach chair/umbrellas to carry. Good restaurant on site as well. Rent a car for 2/3 days to see the island and other area beaches since no public bus on this island. Staff is friendly and made my stay enjoyable. No Lenny Kravitz citing but the restaurant has a life size image!

Assisted us with a car rental & were very accommodating with any request we may have had. There was a beautiful beach a short walk away & they offered us umbrellas & sand chairs. Beach towels were available in our room! It was right next to the restaurant that we frequented each day! The food was delicious especially the crab cakes! Thanks so much for a great stay!

• Sandra (10/5): - Everyone at the inn was welcoming and helpful. Wish I could have stayed longer. Location is perfect, and it’s a quick, quiet, solitary walk down a hidden path/road to get to a virtually deserted beach. Idyllic. Food at the restaurant is excellent.
• Marion Elinore (10/5): - This was our first time to Eleuthera. Daddy Jews was the perfect place. Everyone there was so friendly and you felt like you were staying with family. We ate quite a few of our meals there and everything was excellent. And the best surprise was when we went to the beach. You can drive or walk through a little almost like a forest and all of a sudden it opens up to this perfectly crystal clear, turquoise water, and white sand. And we had the beach to ourselves. You will definitely not be disappointed if you stay here.

Convenient walk to the beach and Glass window Bridge & Queens Bath were very close for a walk or short drive. The Staff was very welcoming and Professional. I look forward to visiting again.

It seems to be the hangout for the locals. It was fun to chat with them and get a feel for their lifestyle. The property is a little outdated, but it sounds like they are starting some renovations. It is definitely the nicest "affordable" hotel in that area.

Its family owned and was really nice every morning when we got back from a run we were able to talk with the owner Tiffany. Tiffany is very kind & helpful.
• David (10/5): Nice place to get away - A coworker and I stayed at Daddy Joe’s on a work trip. We had a really good experience and would recommend it. The building is old but updated. Rooms are really nice with WiFi, streaming tvs, good air conditioning, refrigerators, and other amenities. Bed was comfortable and water was hot. The restaurant has excellent food and good prices. Breakfast is available, but you have to order the previous day. I can’t say enough good things about the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. If you are expecting a stereotypical beach resort, this isn’t it. It’s a relatively small facility with no pool. There is access to a beautiful beach a short (1/4 mile) walk or drive across the street. I’ve had longer walks to the beach at large resorts. Daddy Joe’s is about a mile from the glass window bridge and even closer to the Queen’s Baths, but I’d recommend a rental car to see the island and explore. This is a great place to get away and relax.

The accommodations are beautifully designed with a keen eye for detail, featuring nice little touches throughout the room that made our stay extra special. The recently renovated rooms are not only stylish but also equipped with everything you need—good working AC, coffee and tea, water bottles, and even a welcome gift with drinks and snacks. Upon arrival, we were treated to a welcome cocktail at the bar, which was a lovely surprise. The owner, Tiffany, truly made us feel at home and like part of her family. Her warmth and hospitality added a personal touch that made our experience unforgettable. We celebrated New Year at their restaurant and were thoroughly impressed by the delicious food. The meal was a highlight of our stay, and the festive atmosphere made it even more enjoyable. The beach, Gaulding’s Cay, is just a very short walk away and is absolutely gorgeous. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing day by the sea. The entire staff at Daddy Joe’s was incredibly friendly and lovely, making us feel welcomed at every turn. We can highly recommend staying at Daddy Joe’s for anyone looking for a cozy, welcoming, and beautiful place to stay. It was truly a fantastic experience!

The on-site restaurant is a gem- the food is delicious, the drinks are tasty, and the people who work and visit make it so fun! We were here over Christmas and Tiffany invited us to spend it with her family. It was so memorable and truly a day (and vacation) we will never forget. • Paul (10/5): Amazing Stay with amazing hosts - We had an amazing stay at DaddyJoe's, Tiffany and her team were so welcoming and made us feel right at home right away! Special shout-out to Sandy and all the restaurant and bar staff, so warm and friendly! Fantastic food (fish tacos!!) and delicious drinks! We caught the sunset on the beach across the street two nights in a row. We even got upgraded to a 2-bedroom suite! We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it to everyone we know!

• Joana (10/5): - Our family of four spent a week at Daddy Joe’s Hotel in July. We had a two bedroom unit that had a small kitchen. The appointments are simple and efficient. The air conditioning is ice cold and with a little creativity and a trip to the grocery store, we were able to use kitchen to prepare several meals. While Daddy Joe’s might not qualify as luxurious, the beds are just that— you will experience the very cleanest sheets and the most comfortable beds as any fancy hotel you have been to. The real stars of Daddy Joe’s however, are the people who work there. The personalities and the kindness of the restaurant and hotel staff is why we will be back. They are lead by proprietor Ms. Tiffany Johnson. Tiffany personally checked in on us at least once a day: to hear about our adventures, to make sure we were comfortable, to answer our questions, or just to shoot the breeze. If you are considering an adventure to Eluethera, Daddy Joe’s is this place to stay.
• Todd (10/5): - The owner, Tiffany, is a class act. From the moment I walked in the door she was kind and helpful. The room was perfect for my needs - sizable, clean and very comfortable. Excellent AC! The restaurant food was good. The wait staff was extremely friendly. The live entertainment was good as well. Daddy Joe’s is a convenient location. It is 30 minutes south of North Eleuthera Airport and about 35 minutes south of the Government Dock where water taxis take you to Harbor Island. Across from Daddy Joe’s - a very short and enjoyable walk lands you on a lovely beach where more than likely you’ll be the only beach goer! Can’t say enough good about Daddy Joe’s! Strong WIFI, too, and a generator in case of power outages.

• Jacqueline (10/5): Great stay - We had a wonderful stay here . The staff are amazing and very friendly . They even offered complimentary beach umbrellas beach bags and lovely beach towels . There was a welcome gift on arrival too. Although we didn’t have a patio there was a great outdoor area with shade and garden furniture to relax by so you weren’t confined to your room . Food was also very good . Great location for exploring the north part of the island, Spanish Wells and Harbour Island. You definitely need a car .

From the clean, fresh and comfortably appointed room to the exceptional staff and of course amazingly scrumptious food (both dining in and taking out), everything was easy, relaxed and delicious. I really appreciate the little touches and personal service that transforms a stay there from ordinary to extraordinary. Try the Daddy Joe’s burger and the garlic Parmesan wings! Gaulding Cay beach across the street was literally paradise. I cannot wait to return!

• Diana (10/5): Great stay, excellent food, service, location - We very much enjoyed our stay at Daddy Joes on Eleuthera – it’s in a great location, across the street from a beautiful, low-key beach and within walking distance of the spectacular Queens Bath. Tiffany and the entire team at Daddy Joes are so welcoming and helpful – Tiffany even gave us beach chairs and an umbrella to take to the beach, and offered to have a cooler with ice delivered to us there. The food at Daddy Joes is excellent – no wonder it is a popular place to dine! Our room was simple, and had everything we needed to be comfortable.
• Daniel (10/5): - The room was great and much bigger than expected. The staff and managers were super nice and genuinely cared about us having a good vacation. It’s not like a hotel in the USA. It’s more like staying at a friend’s beach condo and they really want you to enjoy yourself. Has a nice restaurant with a pool table and sometimes live music. Apparently Lenny Kravitz stops in sometimes. He has a house across the street. Has an outdoor tiki bar as well. The area is great. So close to one of the best beaches on the island as well as queens bath and glass window bridge. Need a car? They have a car to rent you. Has a lot of miles, rattles. Who cares… AC works. Makes it down the rough roads. If you come here looking for prefect things and a 5 star chain hotel with everything running on a tight schedule then you are doing it wrong. This is island life on island time and with a laid back attitude. If you ride that wave and stay here with the right expectations you won’t regret it. They will take care of you.
• Ester (10/5): - As the sign on the front door says, come as guest leave as family. And we did! Tiffany and her family welcomed us with open arms and invited us out to local events. The room we had was small but clean. There were small inperfections such as the door was off thr closet or the shower didnt give much water, but it did not inhibit an amazing stay. If you want easy beach access and a relaxing day this is the spot. You can rent a car from them but you dont need to with a resurtant on sight. (Best food on the island!) We will totally stay here again when we come back.

• Kamma (10/5): - From the minute we arrived it was like coming home to family. Several times during our stay Tiffany and her family hosted us and other guests for games, snacks, a meal and other fun. It felt like a get together with aunts, uncles and cousins. This is not a fancy immaculate hotel, it is a down home, friendly family inn with a beachy vibe and what youd experience as a " beach house" vs resort living which is exactly what we were looking for. You will live and experience being a local here. We had great suggestions for outings from Tiffany, her daughter, MJ. Sandee was a wonderful cook and all the servers at the attached restaurant were delightful 😊. The beach "Gaulding Cay" directly across the street was amazing for snorkeling and swimming. Calm and shallow waters on Exuma sound. Almost like our own private beach. We will be back!

• Jessie (10/5): - The Daddy Joe's property is nice and quaint, conveniently located a few steps away from Gaulding Cay, the glass window bridge, and queen's bath. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and refreshed each day by housekeeping. Tiffany, the owner is very friendly and helpful. The staff on-site will assist with arranging or contacting a taxi driver to get you where you want to go. Please note, the property is on the outskirts of town. You may require a car or a taxi depending on what you want to see or do. The restaurant at Daddy Joe's is good, please make reservations or plans to eat at a reasonable time. Some entrees may not be available if you decide to eat late. The drinks at the bar were really good, I enjoyed the Goombay Splash. Be prepared to meet some incredible guests, workers, and locals. Overall, I would stay at Daddy Joe's again. Future guests, remember that resources on the island are scarce. Please do not travel expecting fast-food services. Island time is very real, so plan accordingly. Thank you to everyone at Daddy Joe's that made my stay pleasant. Also, Marty, the taxi driver is a VIBE. Highly recommend him!!!!!!

They have a wonderful bar and restaurant with some amazing staff and delicious food and drinks. Their fish fingers and cracked conch lunch is amazing and their Taco Tuesdays night did not disappoint. We recommend their Sunday brunch taco. Their outdoor area is quite nice to relax at under the umbrella or on one of their swing chairs. Its a quick 7 minute walk to Gauldings Cay beach which is breath taking. The staff is truly what made our vacation great, they are very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We even rented a car from one of the owners which was nice. My only critique would be that they have a better coffee maker in the room and more easily accessible water to offer guests instead of having to request a bottle each time, as none of the residents appear to think drinking the tap water is ok. I also think that adding a microwave to the rooms might be a nice addition. Other than that we had a fantastic time and would definitely return for a stay again in this beautiful region of the Bahamas.
• Danon (10/5): - I stayed at Daddy Joes as a solo traveler. The property was clean, the staff were so friendly. The food at Daddy Joe’s restaurant is delicious, and the cocktails equally yummy! The property is across the road from Gaulding Cay Beach. Queen’s Bath, the cow and the bull, and Glass Window bridge are all very close. If you drive south, there’s some great shopping. It was perfect!! I hope to return soon!

• Georgia (10/5): - I would recommend anyone who is looking for a home away from home to stay at Daddy Joes! Tiffany and her family really are the most wonderful people. I’m a solo traveller and also not a confident driver so did not rent a car, and they went above and beyond to ensure I had the best experience. The place is lovely and the food is delicious. You get a very tasty welcome drink on arrival and a lovely little treat bag in the room. If there is anything you want to know, they have all the tips and are more than happy to share their local knowledge with you. The accomodation is also directly opposite one of the most stunning beaches I’ve come across so far, only a short walk and the sunsets are incredible. Overall, just an amazing experience and I know where I’ll be staying each time I visit this beautiful island.
• William Keith (10/5): - By far the best vacation we’ve ever taken. If you want the big, overcrowded resort vibe this isn’t for you. Daddy Joe’s is a small quaint place with extraordinary staff and owner Tiffany tries to fulfill every request. She spent almost 2 hours with us one night just talking. The Gaulding Cay beach is about a 3-5 minute walk directly across the street and down a sandy road. Beach is approximately 1/2 mile long and there were never more than 10 people there. Remember, you’re on Island Time too, there is no rush. Your food may take 30-45 minutes to arrive. Have a beverage. Sandy will take care of you at the restaurant. They have a saying, “Eleuthera, it’s not for everyone.” It is sparsely populated. There are no fast food restaurants. They drive on the left. You can turn down almost any dirt road and end up on a beach. Lastly, the folks that work at Daddy Joe’s and might fine people. We will go back. THANKS TIFFANY!!!

The check-in process was smooth; the food and ambience was nice; the room was clean, well-furnished and fairly spacious. They had generators that worked when the power went off, literally kicked in 5 seconds later. Sandra, LuLu and the owner Tiffany all worked tirelessly to make the weekend a great experience.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Daddy Joes is a family owned motel. Everyone we encountered there were very friendly and helpful. They go the extra step to make your stay wonderful. Tiffany and Robert have a wonderful place. The motel is neat and clean, offers single rooms as well as apts with multiple bdrms, lvng rm and kitchen (w dishes, pans and utensils). There are ceiling fans and AC in the spaces. It is comfortable and attractive . Daddy Joes is not fancy, it is homey which was nice because it felt relaxed and helped set us on "island time". A little side note, they do a full room clean every 7 days but you can switch out towels and get extra soap etc as needed. You are able to have additional services for $15 ea. I read great reviews about the restaurant at Daddy Joes, about great food and great service and all of those reviews were spot on. All of our meals there were VERY good and Saundra is amazing! "Thank you lady!" Daddy Joes is situated across the street from a beach access point. It is a leisurely 5 minute walk to what I think is the most beautiful view on the island. A wonderful beach and perfect turquoise water. Great for snorkeling around it's namesake Gaulding Cay. I could have spent all 7 days there. If you do rent a car, I suggest a Jeep from Robert for the uneven roads. Head to Genes Dock for a water taxi to Spanish Wells. Rent a golf cart and tour it and Russel Island. Such a cute community. Experience The Queens Bath, an amazing natural wonder. Well worth the climb!

We were able to walk to Queen's Bath a half mile from Daddy Joe's which is truly a breathtaking place. She arranged a taxi to and from the airport. The room was very clean and it was quiet. This was the best place and restaurant to stay on the island..location was perfect! We traveled to other parts of the island and we were so glad we stayed at Daddy Joe's due to location, restaurant, cleanliness and overall vibe of the place. Can't wait to go back.....
