• Cary (7/5): Easy check-in - Late night check in was a saviour for me due to late evening arrival at airport. Nothing in particular, it suited my needs as an overnight stay. Shower could be better.

Oder sie waren einfach zu faul und wollten nichts wissen weil die Netflix Serie gerade spannender war :-)

• Michael (2/5): No beverage service,no ice, no snacks, they directed us to a nearby restaurant for dinner, CLOSED - I don’t know if ownership has changed but we have stayed here before and for the price it was acceptable It started at check in.after a very long day of travel and medical test we arrived to check in only to find they were having trouble with their cc machine. They were totally UNRESPONSIVE in any other means but paying them cash! After 10-15 minutes of arguing we finally paid them almost all the cash we had.bed was like sleeping on concrete, no cups or glasses in room. No instructions in room on TV remote ( we had to call the desk),

It's in walking distance to the ferry for caye caulker and San Pedro. They had a community refrigerator and microwave in kitchen. Staff were nice and helpful. Limited places that offer delivery for food.

• Cem (7/5): Fit to purpose for short term stay in Belize City - Price effective considering the high prices in Belize City. Beds were comfortable. AC was ok. Bathroom was clean and convenient. Can take the bus in front to get to the City. Has parking space for customers. Has water dispenser in the kitchen in reception area. Location is quite far from the City. Even to get a cab was difficult. Rooms had spider webs on the ceilings, just clean on the floor area. Quite many mosquitoes.

• Sandra (8/5): - It was a last minute booking for the night since our flight was delayed. The water in the shower never got hot. But it was better than expected.
• Elizabeth (8/5): - This is the second time I've stayed at the Easy Inn and will likely not be the last. While it is a no frills place, it is always clean and safe, which is all one really needs. If you are there with a big group, sometimes the hot water may not keep up with the use and you may end up with a cooler shower; this happened the first time I was there, but this past time was no issue. The water pressure isn't great, but it gets the job done. The ladies at the front desk are wonderful! They'll call a cab if need be, and gave me some good recommendations of places to get food. While the area around the Easy Inn is not walkable, especially at night time, there is a night security guard. There is a gas station right across the street that has coffee and meat pies in the morning, and snacks and cold beer for later on. Each room has a TV and AC which is really nice. The walls are kind of thin, so if you have rowdy neighbors, you may be able to hear them; travel with ear plugs. Honestly, the noise that kept me up was the rattle of the door due to the wind, so I just put the chair against it and it solved the problem. There are nicer hotels in the area, as well as hotels that are closer to food and shops. However, when comparing the Easy Inn with other places, for the cost, this is the absolute best. It is clean, it is safe, and it is consistent.

• Ella (6/5): Pretty lacklustre hotel. Costly for what you get. - It had beds and a shower. They let us put our food in the fridge and use the kitchen. Very lacklustre dated room, light bulbs not working, Staff on the front desk seemed to have a poor and unhelpful attitude. Disinterested in helping us with storing our bags or giving directions. Told us they would book a taxi for the next day and failed to do so. Downstairs smelled a bit musty and damp.

Upon check in the lady at the front desk wanted to charge us the wrong price, which was 200 Belize dollar higher than the confirmed amount by Booking.com, which we could show proof of. When we asked her to explain, she said it was commission, which should not be charged to the guest. All she said beside this is that it's the price the manager writes down, so we asked to speak to the manager, then all she had to say was that the manager is not there and busy. This cannot be called service. All of a sudden she did manage to call the manager and the manager confirmed we had the correct amount. We received no apology. When we asked for an invoice she couldn't give it to us, as only the manager can do this, the same unavailable person. All in all would definitely not recommend staying in this hotel. Service is incredibly bad.

The photos are misleading. The room I chose had 2 separate beds in the photo but when we arrived they asked for an extra 10 dollars for 2 separate beds. They didn't give us the possibility to choose one bed option either saying booking's commission not included. The staff were very rude and ignorant. They asked for extra money for checking out at 11.30 which is written on booking, it was supposed to be 11. They didn't let us in the room until exactly 3 despite the hotel being empty The place is far from the city and everything.

The room was already available and they don’t allow me to get to the room at less I paid extra. Really uncomfortable and no manners at all.

• FellowTraveler156017 (2/5): Would definitely avoid a stay here and way overpriced for what they offer - The hotel is very old but the rooms were relatively clean. There is no coffee or water in the rooms and unavailable on site. Had an issue getting hot water but that could be because of the age. The hotel did post some awards from hotel associations but nothing new since 2014 My biggest complaint is the rudeness of the staff completely unnecessary for visitors to their establishment We asked for a few extra minutes after the 11AM checkout because our taxi was on its way and were told we had to pay very rudely. Okay that’s the rules so we were packing up and ready to leave before the 11AM checkout. Guess what a knock at the door from the rude front desk lady making sure we were not going to be a minute late. Anyway stay at your own risk.
