Guest Reviews
- MemRunner (10/5): Quiet Elegance in A Great Neighborhood - We spent 5 nights in this wonderful hotel. Our first floor room was spacious, with a separate living/dining area, a kitchenette, and a washer and dryer (which we used). The bed was comfortable and the splits worked quite well to keep the temperature comfortable. The property has a doorman, which provides an extra level of security. The house coffee in the morning is quite good, but I do wish there was an option for a full breakfast. However, we found several reasonably priced alternatives in the neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again.
- judithgU1725GB (10/5): Perfect Apartment - Lovely apartment, and the washer and dryer actually work!!! Wonderful location with lots of good places to eat nearby. Staff are very friendly and helpful! We will definitely stay at Casa Mali on our next visit to CDMX!!
- XYZ445 (8/5): Understated, luxury accommodate in Condesa - An excellent, well located and well designed hotel.
- Tuesday_Moon8 (10/5): A Condesa luxury weekend - We just returned from our first trip to Mexico City and we were thrilled with Casa Mali. We booked a 4th floor penthouse suite and it was so roomy!! and the part that excited me the most was the stacked washer / dryer in the kitchenette. Being able to do one's laundry while traveling is such a luxury. The location is great - across the street from the park. And walkable to so many cafe's and restaurants. Also - great to walk in the park in the morning. There was a 24 hour a day doorman which was a nice and safe though honestly I never felt unsafe. The front desk ordered a car for the airport which made it so easy.
We will stay here on our next trip for sure but possibly try to book a room that is not above the busy street because it can be pretty noisy on Friday and Saturday.
The style and design of the lobby and lounge area was so tastefully done...and the artwork on the walls was gorgeous so huge shoutout to the designers.
- C2569EAchristines (10/5): Lovely stay - We had a lovely stay at Casa Mali for 12 nights in a master suite on the top floor. Our room was spacious and we enjoyed opening the terrace doors for fresh air. The washer/dryer functioned perfectly and the hotel even provided detergent pods. It was very quiet and we had no problems sleeping.
Location was great, literally across the street from pretty Parque Mexico and walking distance to many restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries. Very easy location to call an Uber or Didi when going further away.
The daily breakfast was minimal but adequate for some fruit, juice and coffee to get us started.
We would definitely stay here again, without hesitation.
- JgEg41 (10/5): Great place to stay! - Casa Malí is the Perfect place to stay in Mexico City ! Located on a tree lined, quiet street across from a beautiful park in Condesa, the hotel provided us with a large suite with every amenity one could wish for-full kitchen with washer and dryer, large seating area and comfortable bedroom with half bath. The rooms were impeccably clean, and one can always request additional linens if needed. The breakfast items were not numerous but just right for those who only want fruit, yogurt, boiled eggs and toast. Meat and cheese slices are also provided.
- boblY4925CR (10/5): The best of the best hotels in beautiful Condessa: location, rooms, staff, clean all top notch! - By far, this was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at; Casa Malí is in a perfect location adjacent -to a beautiful park with walkways and greenery, and multiple cafes right outside your door. The hotel rooms are spacious; well maintained, and the friendliness of the staff can't beat.
- jeanniedc (6/5): Disappointed - Having read so many 5 circle reviews of this hotel, we expected a great experience. Alas, it did not meet our expectations.
On the positive side, the hotel has a wonderful location in Condesa, and has a beautiful Art Deco interior and exterior. It was very clean, and housekeeping generally did a very good job with daily cleaning. We had a large comfortable suite with a very comfortable bed. The front doorman and the bartender were very nice.
For us, the disappointments were three-fold:
They have an overly strict “eco-friendly” towel policy. Our room came with two bath towels and one hand towel; no washcloths. We asked for (and got) a second hand towel. They replace towels only once a week, and they didn’t even fold the towels we had used every day. Our bath mat got dirty from walking on it, and it was only replaced once. The shower did not work well.
The breakfast was terrible. I hate to have to say that, but I’ve travelled extensively, and this was surely the worst breakfast I’ve ever had in a hotel. The coffee was weak, and one day undrinkable. The pastries were stale or packaged. If we had been on a more relaxed schedule, we could have gone to one of the many cafes in the neighborhood for breakfast, but our days were tightly scheduled, which I’m sure is true for many tourists in CDMX. One day, we had to leave very early for a day trip. It was a weekday when the breakfast should have started at 7:00, but when we got to the lobby at 7:30, there was no food. We were informed (without apology) that it was a festival day, and breakfast would start at 8:00, not 7:00. There had been no signage of that and needless to say, it did not leave a good impression on us.
Finally, and this is a minor point, but at the time of check in, they show you a small tray containing two laundry pods for the washer, one bar of chocolate, and 4 Nespresso pods. They emphasize that this is all you will get during your stay. Not exactly a warm welcome. Indeed, we tried to get extra Nespresso pods one day, and were told we would be charged for them.
I really don’t like writing negative reviews, and I rarely have to since I research all my travel plans in detail, but this was a disappointment.
- simonjp2017 (10/5): Attractive boutique hotel - Very well presented hotel, friendly staff, in a great street opposite a park and with good local restaurants. Clean, well appointed room. On the small side, but with extensive amenities- fitted kitchen and washer/drier. Quiet. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast rather limited but adequate. Recommended.
- Frostad (10/5): Lovely and well located boutique hotel - Fabulous boutique hotel next to the park. A perfect home base for visiting anything in the Roma Note/Condesa area.....most places within walking distance.
Big rooms, lovely amenities and very helpful and attentive staff. My wife and I stayed there with three other couples and had a great time.
- markdV2428JH (10/5): Fabulous hotel in a picturesque neighborhood! - This hotel is quite fabulous. The building is a beautiful representation of the art deco period. The interior is also very chic and feels modern, with the art deco themes throughout. The staff are all very friendly and kind. There is a security guard 24 hours a day and he opens the door each time you arrive and leave.
We stayed in the junior suite, room PH2 on the fourth floor. The room feels like an apartment with a living room, kitchen, washer and dryer, and separate bedroom. It's very clean and modern.
The neighborhood is exquisite. Parque Mexico is across the street and there are lots of dog walkers, runners, and shoppers out and about. All of the buildings in the neighborhood are beautiful and there's lots of cafes and restaurants around.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
- lisasE9930MO (10/5): Fantastic stay - The staff and rooms at Casa Malí Dominion were outstanding. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful but not intrusive. The hotel was in a fabulous location with many bars and restaurants nearby. We took several long walks in the park across the street which was lovely, I highly recommend a stay here,
- Meghan (10/5): - Great boutique hotel in a great neighborhood. Walkable to make great restaurants and coffee shops. The room itself was large and nice. Newly updated. The bed was comfortable. There was a kitchen we didn’t make use of as the food around was inexpensive and very good.
- E2919VSterencec (10/5): Casa Mali Review - The suite was attractive and well-stocked and the hotel staff was very accomodating. The location of the hotel was excellent.
- Footprints229326 (10/5): Perfect Stay - We have just left Casa Mali after spending a week there to celebrate a birthday. The property is just as pictured. The rooms are comfortable, & spacious. We had a junior suite, & it felt like being at someone’s house.
The staff is excellent, attentive & eager to make your stay perfect!
I requested a cake & bottle of champagne to be delivered at our arrival, & it was perfect.
We spent several evenings on the terrace visiting & enjoying the beautiful weather.
We will definitely stay here again!! Oh, and the location could not have been better!!!
- Peter (10/5): - Excellent location.
Walkable to most areas of interest.
Great communities surroundings the hotel.
- Kirsten (10/5): - This property was nicely located outside of a family friendly park and local shops, bars, and restaurants.
- inezh226 (10/5): Must Stay! - The hotel is very unique and beautiful. The suites and penthouse were large and filled with amenities. The front desk staff and doormen were so sweet. The location is perfect to get to nearby hotspots. Thank you Casa Malí!
- F7126ZDlenas (10/5): Phenomenal hotel and location - We had an amazing experience at Casa Malí. The staff were all so wonderful, the rooms are very comfortable and clean, and the location is phenomenal.
- JeffP752 (10/5): Perfect stay in Mexico City - We looked for a nice hotel in the Condesa area of Mexico City. The reviews were good about Casa Mali so we reserved a room for 5 days. When we arrived we were really impressed. The hotel was across the street from Bosque Mexico, a lovely park. There were several restaurants of all sorts near the hotel. The door was answered by a doorman who welcomed us in Spanish (we speak fair spanish). The receptionist spoke to us in English as we spoke to her same. She was very nice and gave us the information on the area and breakfast that was served in the hotel. The room was amazing, like a large 1 bedroom apartment with kitchen, washer and dryer, living room with separate bedroom king bed and his and hers closets. The stay there was great and made our visit to Mexico City even better.
- Trent (10/5): Impressed every time - This is the second time we have stayed at this property and it is still a favorite. The location is perfect, surrounded by restaurants and your front yard is an amazing park.
- Jerry (4/5): - The location is perfect and I'm sure some of the rooms are gorgeous. Unfortunately the only two rooms they would give us were tiny closets looking into an air shaft, or one directly next to the front desk on the noisy street.
The primary reason I rate the hotel poorly is the water bottles. As an "eco-friendly" gesture they provide glass bottles that are supposedly filled with water they filter themselves. There is no way to know when the bottles were filled, or with what, or if the bottles were sanitized. I took a few sips of water from one and it had a horrible moldy taste. I was quite sick the next day and believe it could be that water.
Another problem is the rooms have a strong chemical smell from a cleaning product and it lingered the entire stay.
- Juan (10/5): Condessa luxury - This is the second time I stay at Casa Mali and they never disappoint. As a gold member of Hotels.com I have always received a free bottle of wine, a complimentary drink at the bar and received room upgrades both times, this trip the penthouse floor. The bed is king, linens are of top quality, and I love the pillow menu.
- bpeisne1 (10/5): Exceptional boutique hotel in beautiful neighborhood. - We had a fabulous 4 night stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. Every staff person was kind and attentive. Our bed was very comfortable. It is across the street from a lovely park. We stayed in a suite, which suited our needs well.
- George (10/5): - As others have mentioned. 100mxp spent more per person per
- roginaw446 (10/5): Great location in Condesa - This is a well run hotel! The staff were wonderful, always there to help. The continental breakfast was a perfect start to the day, fresh fruit and juices were the highlights. Our room looked out to the lovely Parque Mexico. Very comfortable bed and a great shower with plenty of hot water. Walking access to a wide variety of restaurants and delicious taco stands. We will definitely return to Casa Mali.
- jamesgD9480TY (10/5): Perfect home base - My wife and I found Casa Mali to be a wonderful spot to visit Mexico City. Beautiful setting facing the park with quiet streets surrounding it, yet close to the bustle of the city with a Metro stop blocks away. Excellent service, great amenities and the neighborhood included several excellent restaurants. Looking for a Mexico City home base, look no further.
- WorldExplorer17418 (10/5): Highly Recommend, Great for Solo Female Travelers! - I highly recommend this hotel. As a single female traveler, I was a bit unsure of the best places to stay in Mexico City. However, this hotel fit everything I needed. The location is perfect, and I felt completely safe walking in this area. The hotel was beautiful, and each of the staff members was extraordinary. Quite literally, every single one of them went out of their way to support me. Without me asking, one of the guys from security even waited outside with me at 5am for quite a while while we waited for my Uber. The other reviews mentioned street noise, which I did hear a little. However, it doesn't last long into the night and likely comes from the restaurants and local bars close by, so it wasn't too much of a bother. I absolutely will be returning when I come back to Mexico City!
- 621jerzyr (10/5): A lovely quiet place in a beautiful neighbourhood - Casa Mali occupies a small building in the quietest and most leafy neighborhood in Mexico City.
It’s a lovely building, beautifully restored Art Deco (ish) gem.
The staff members, clearly proud to work there, are always present, ready to respond to your every need (not that we had many🙂).
Our top floor suite has been recently renovated. Excellent bed, little kitchen with all you need to cook a meal, full size fridge, dryer/washer combo, outdoor patio, sizable bathroom with a shower.
The hotel provides unlimited filtered water to fill the bottles they provide.
To have breakfast ready at 7 am on weekdays was an added perk (coffee, tea, juices, cold, cuts, granola, variety of breads, etc. ).
You can leave the hotel in the morning or late night for a walk around the neighborhood without any concern. It’s a pleasure to mingle with the Mexican crowd, who appear happy, relaxed, and comfortable.
It was our first time in Mexico City. We wish we have not visited sooner.
- Garrett (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay at Mila! It's situated along a lovely park with shops and lots of restaurants within walking distance.
The hotel is really quaint, and we enjoyed the art deco interior. Take advantage of ordering a handcrafted drink in the bar and enjoy it on the rooftop.
Our stay was made comfortable by the attentiveness of the staff, and the amenities. Great place for an extended stay!
- Adriana (10/5): - All around Casa Mali was perfect. Staff was excellent and amenities were also top notch. Close to many restaurants and shopping and across the street from the park. Having the famous churro place "Los Moros" one block away was the best. I would definitely come back to this hotel.
- carolinevagabond (10/5): Excellent boutique hotel - I booked a studio room and thoroughly enjoyed staying there. The room is great for one person (Solo traveler). I loved how the studio felt like a mini apartment with a microwave, stove, sink, refrigerator, washer and dryer. All of the utensil, bowls, pans, coffee, dish detergent, laundry pods are provided. There was also a nice balcony area to sit outside. The doorman is very attentive and prompt when you ring the bell to get in the hotel and he is ready to open the door when you leave the hotel. The hotel is in a lively area with restaurants and adjacent to a beautiful park. Walmart is around the corner if you need groceries or supplies. Very easy to get Ubers around the hotel. Staff was superb! Really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again.
- Jonallie (10/5): - Great location across from Parque Mexico surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Wonderful and helpful staff. Loved that our room had a refrigerator, washer and dryer. Would definitely stay here again.
- franceslitt88 (10/5): Perfect Hotel in Condesa! - What a beautiful hotel! In the heart of Condesa right off of the main park. The bed was so comfortable, everything was pristine. Breakfast was perfect. Can't say enough good things - we will absolutely stay here next time we're in Mexico City!
- Joycelin Lee (10/5): - What a fabulous place to stay! If you are visiting for a week, stay in the Jr Suite as it feels like home. Everyone is kind and it’s small and boutique-like with so many restaurants and coffee shops nearby! Dog walkers everywhere so the park Nextdoor feels like home as well.
- G5503GRlaurap (10/5): Quiet sanctuary in an excellent location - Our stay was amazing! It was a convenient location right outside the park, safe to walk around at night, with plenty of restaurants and bars. The hotel was quiet and had all the amenities we needed. The breakfast was light and healthy with great coffee, fresh fruit and chia seed/almond milk pudding. The rooftop was a great place to have a happy hour drink or relax in the shade. Would absolutely stay here next time we visit!
- Girdhar (10/5): - Amazing hotel. the staff was kind to accommodate us in a temporary room as our flight landed early in the morning the day of check in. the room was excellent and the location was top notch, close to the best restaurants, attractions and parks. perfect for families and highly recommend this hotel.
- pattia391 (10/5): Home away from home - This is my home away from home when I come. They are located across the Parque de Mexico and walking distance from amazing restaurants. The staff is wonderful, professional and always helpful. Very happy stay there and you would be too!!!!!
- R2628IKdebbier (10/5): Great choice’ - We loved our stay at Casa Mali. The location can’t be beat and the suites are spacious and comfortable. Everyone was very friendly and we were very happy overall. I know some people complained about the breakfast but we found it perfectly adequate.
- lkY8902WV (10/5): Luxurious Boutique Hotel - The Casa Mali by Dominion is a luxurious boutique hotel right on the Parque Mexico in the Condesa neighborhood. We stayed in both the Junior Suite and regular room and they both were well equipped with kitchenette, lovely bedding, and plush towels. The Junior Suite had the addition of a living room space with large sofa. The park is conveniently located directly across the street, although there is also a small private roof deck on the 4th floor of the hotel. There are many good restaurants and a couple of upscale markets within a short walk. The breakfast is continental and good enough, but never changes from day to day. The front desk staff and doorman are very helpful.
- Ana Maria (10/5): - From the moment we stepped in, we felt like we arrived home. Every single person in the staff, starting with Pilar (the hotel manager) was welcoming, friendly and super resourceful!
The most amazing gesture was that, knowing we were celebrating a milestone birthday, they surprised with birthday decorations and cake in the room.
We travel frequently, and never have we a more warm and pleasant stay.
Thank you all, and hope to stay with you again soon!
- Robert (10/5): - Nice property! Very clean. I got upgraded to a Master Suite and it was very nice.
- 178zarat (10/5): A real gem! - A real gem of a place. Casa Mali is so full of character and the excellent staff were such a pleasure to be with and great at looking after us.
Yes, as an older building, there were some small quirks, but they were so insignificant compared to the overall fabulous experience, charm of the property and wonderful onsite team.
- sezs2025 (10/5): Super nice boutique hotel in Condesa - Super nice boutique hotel in Condesa. Well located right across a lovely park. Our room was perfect- very clean, good-sized bedroom, living area, a small kitchen, washer/dryer & private porch. Service was very friendly and helpful. We'll stay here again.
- travelercu (8/5): Great location - Review: Casa Mali – Perfect Location but Some Drawbacks
Casa Mali truly has an unbeatable location—right in the heart of Condesa, directly across from the beautiful Parque México. The area is lively, filled with happy people dining out and plenty of dogs enjoying the park. The aparthotel itself is spacious and clean, making for a comfortable stay.
The front desk staff is attentive, especially Edna—if you need recommendations, she’s the one to ask. A great good spot nearby is Metoro, a good restaurant just around the corner.
However, there are a few downsides. The noise level can be high, so light sleepers should be prepared. The breakfast is disappointing, with coffee that tastes like water. Also, they only offer one welcome drink per room, which felt a bit stingy when traveling as a-couple, however that being said ther drinks are not good, so with a free drink at least you realize it’s not worth to pay for one.
Overall, Casa Mali is a great choice for location and comfort, but there’s room for improvement in the details.
- thomashawker (10/5): Excellent hotel, five stars! - The hotel is charming and well appointed. The beds are super comfy, and the staff friendly. You can't beat the location, it is the best, especially if you want to be in the heart of La Condesa.
Next visit to Mexico City, Casa Mali by Dominion will be our first choice.
- arleen reyes (10/5): - Excellent stay, excellent location
- Lauren (10/5): - Amazingly friendly staff and wonderful location!! The dog park across the street was a favourite pastime... Highly walkable and safe neighbourhood. Many great restaurants are close by. It's a beautiful hotel with a great breakfast. Nothing to complain about!
- F8753HQjohna (10/5): Charming and impeccable right on Parque Mexico - Casa Mali is a charming boutique hotel in impeccable condition facing the beautiful Parque Mexico in Mexico City's Condesa neighborhood, which is brimming with cafes and restaurants along its quiet streets. The rooms have various layouts, but are all furnished with a big fridge, mini kitchen, and washer/dryer. The staff are entirely helpful and warm. The breakfast has a limited selection, but all of fine quality, so I was always satisfied. I stayed for one week last year and again this year, and will certainly go back in the future.
- quaids2025 (8/5): Cozy and Convenient Stay - A cozy yet modern stay that balances comfort with style. The ambiance felt inviting, and the staff was attentive without being intrusive. Rooms were well-appointed, though I wished for a bit more space. The location was perfect for exploring local attractions. A solid choice for anyone looking for a blend of relaxation and convenience!
- rosiebD6467EY (10/5): Excellent Hotel!!! - Casa Mali was perfect for 13 of our closest friends celebrating a 60th birthday. The complimentary breakfast was amazing, great cocktail bar, accommodations were fantastic and the friendliest and attentive staff ever. The location was a cross for a great park and La Condesa was a very safe place to go out at night.
- Emily (6/5): - The overall property is lovely and very good location but we would not recommend the deluxe studio here, the room is really very small and is right off the main entrance (where breakfast is served) it’s very noisy you can hear everything, so you are woken up pre 7am by breakfast being set up and hoovering above you, as well as construction next door, something we were not made aware of.
- Escape02235601518 (10/5): Great small hotel - The hotel is great, great location very nice staff, junior suite is the way to go, roomy with a kitchen full size refrigerator coffee maker washer and dryer although the bathroom could be bigger the shower is a nice size. I highly recommend this hotel right on parque Mexico in a nice residential neighborhood yet close to everything
- hatman521 (10/5): Lovely boutique hotel in Condesa - My wife and I just returned from our second stay at Casa Mali within the last few years. It hasn't lost a step since our last visit. It remains a gem of a boutique hotel in a wonderful neighborhood. We spent 5 nights in a junior suite, which was spacious with separate bedroom and living areas (including a kitchen). Our suite was on the first floor facing the park, which was lovely except for some noise during the daytime from the reception area, elevator (which was situated immediately next to the door of our room) and lobby (especially during breakfast). The suite itself was very comfortable, with a king bed and plenty of closet space in the bedroom, a large living room with adjoining kitchen space, and a decent sized bathroom with a nice, large shower with a rainfall showerhead. The neighborhood is also fantastic. Parque Mexico is literally across the street and Condesa and Roma are great areas for just strolling around and checking out all the cafes, bars, shops, and restaurants. We will defintely stay at Casa Mali again when we visit CDMX. A special thanks to the gentleman who works in the front of the hotel and helps with luggage, security, the door, etc. I wish we had gotten his name, as he was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay.
- Henry436th (8/5): location great for local neighborhood experience. - TLDR: Best things about this place: 1/ location 2/ washer dryer . details for why -1 star
PROS:
1/ Location: on the park, can walk around the part, Amsterdam st and more to coffee, restaurants, or just sit and watch people in the park . very cozy neighborhood. We also walk to Roma norte, no problem, and even can do it all the way to the Anthropologian museum.
2/ for longer stay, washer dryer in room was nice
overall clean and quite place.
CONS: for the cost..
1/ Skip breakfast. free... still we skipped it. if you had to pay even $1, you paid too much. go and get a nice coffee + pastry for $6 anywhere else outside.
2/ Customer service: I woke up from a leaky (condensation) AC at midnight, I took a video, I didn't complaint at night just put a bucket thinking it will be temporary (probably since the room was post shower + dryer) and I was right. still, 2 hours of "drip drip drip" noise and me having to find a plastic bucket so not to ruined the floor. I reported when checked out the next day..
they didn't care too much, just showed the guy that will fix it telling me they will (as if I care, I am leaving) and didn't really apologize nor offer compensation. I am not a big "you have to compensate me" person but I found it a bit odd they cared so little. after all it did wake me up, I had to scramble to minimize water damage for them and deal with noise for extra 2 hours ...
- Marc (10/5): - Great hotel with friendly staff in a great location
- moses (10/5): - I can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel!! The location is in such a great area with great restaurants, cafes and convenience stores all within a short walking distance. The rooms were clean, comfy and quiet. We especially appreciated the help we got from the front desk clerk Edna, she was so sweet and accommodating. While we were there we told her we were going to a concert at the stadium and she arranged a car service to pick us up from the venue because she said it can often be a hassle to get an uber at the stadium. I wished we could've stayed longer and we will definitely stay here again when we return to Mexico City. I highly recommend Casa Malí and I can not thank them enough again for how hospitable they were!!
- David (10/5): - What a great place to stay in Mexico City. We arrived quite late (after midnight) and the attentive staff greeted us as we left our Uber. Our room, a Junior Suite King, was very quiet, spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed the coffee and continental breakfast. Staff were simply excellent. We will for sure come back to Casa Malí on our next trip to Mexico City!
- Matt (10/5): - This is a super comfortable place in an amazing neighborhood. If you're there on a weekend, the park is humming with all sorts of stuff to see. Definitely do the mezcal/tequila flights in the lounge.
- Kenneth (10/5): - Quiet, across street from a nice park, clean, easy access to area
- Thomas (10/5): - I loved the stay The staff was great everyone was so helpful and friendly
- Erika (10/5): Highly Recommend Casa Mali - We stayed at Casa Mali for 8 nights as we traveled around to see the sights in Mexico City. The hotel was wonderful all around. The location was perfect - directly across from a beautiful park. The neighborhood was vibrant with good food and drinks accessible everywhere. We had easy access to all of the sights from a very safe and pretty place. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They answered all of our questions and did everything they could to make our stay memorable. If we return to Mexico City, Casa Mail will be top of our list for places to stay.
- Julie-Anne (10/5): - Amazing beautiful boutique hotel with fully equipped kitchen, and laundry machines in every room, in a beautiful area that is very safe, I don’t walk anywhere alone in Mexico City, but in this area I felt comfortable doing so because it so peaceful.
- Martha (10/5): - Fantastic staff. Lovely neighborhood. Great room(ph2). Highly recommend
- Herbert (10/5): - Best area to stay in CDMX. Across from a beautiful park. Best food options and close to everything. Room and hospitality greatly exceeded our expectations.
- Jose (10/5): - Un excelente hotel con un justo balance entre calidad y precio. El personal muy atento
- Rebecca (10/5): Family friendly - Location location location. Beautiful part of Mexico City with a park right across the road. Basic breakfast but good sized accomodation and cleaned daily.
- ANDREA (10/5): - Great property close to everything and I found it to be quiet. Will stay again.
- Edgar (10/5): Great stay, beautiful location - Great location, with lots of restaurants and cafes walking distance and a beautiful park in front. The hotel staff really nice and the hotel beautifully decorated.
- Zoe ANNE (10/5): - Very clean , beautiful location, friendly staff, small boutique hotel.
- SUSAN (10/5): Excellent stay - Fabulous! Beautiful art deco hotel across from the the lovely Parque Mexico. Our junior suite was huge and well designed. Everything was spotless and comfortable.
- Andrea (10/5): - Staff were extremely nice and accommodating. Room was kept clean and amenities were wonderful! Well located and amazing cafes and restaurants nearby. Will be coming back to stay again.
- Zell (10/5): Another Great Stay At Casa Mali - This was our second time staying at Casa Mali, and, once again, it was very nice. We reserved the same type of room as before (a junior suite), and I was hoping that we would be assigned a different junior suite from the one we were in the first time, but that didn't happen. But, it was all fine. The room was clean, spacious, and very nice. The morning breakfast at Casa Mali is very nice and the space makes it easy to meet new people. The staff are very friendly. The location of Casa Mali is part of what makes this place so great. It's right across the street from a lovely local park that is used by many. I do have one minor suggestion for Casa Mali. They provide one pitcher of water for the room that can be refilled at the filtered water machine on the ground floor. It would be nice to have two pitchers in the room to minimize the number of trips downstairs. But that's a very minor inconvenience. All in all though, we love Casa Mali and will most likely stay there the next time we come to Mexico City.
- Randall (10/5): - Fantastic location! Excellent warm and attentive staff! We’ll definitely be back!
- Hope (10/5): - Loved the location. Room was so large, it’s really a small apartment.
- Robert (10/5): - We couldn't be happier with our stay at Casa Mali. Incredibly friendly, helpful staff (shoutout to Edna, who was invaluable when we had a minor travel crisis!), comfortable suite and helpful amenities, cozy rooftop patio area, and adorable downstairs nook for drinking coffee and/or visiting. The convenience to places in La Condesa can't be beat, especially with the great Parque Mexico right across the street. Can't wait to return.
- BARRY (10/5): Casa Mali - Nice suite with living room and kitchen, very friendly and helpful staff. Outstanding location.
- Nathan (10/5): Great Trip - Had a fantastic stay! The staff were all very nice and incredibly accommodating for a couple that spoke Spanish. Location in Condesa, right on the park, is perfect and within walkable distances from many coffee shops and places to eat. Would stay here again.
- Gabriel (8/5): - Good stay. Great location. Use Uber and avoid recommended drivers that have excessive pricing. Replenishing during breakfast needs to be improved
- KINH (10/5): - Very nice hotel. It is located right across from the beautiful Parque Mexico. The hotel is secure 24/7 with a door man opening the door to let you in and out. Staff is professional and helpful. The hotel location is in the nice and trendy Condesa areas surrounded with nice shops, art galleries, beautiful houses, and fine dining establishments.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Staff is excellent, nearby parks are beautiful, many restaurants, bars, and coffee shops nearby.
- gary (10/5): - The property is like it appears in photos. It's relative small, was quiet and civilized. I love the area and the spectacular park.
- Eduardo (10/5): - We stayed in 3 different locations/neighborhoods in Mexico City and Puerto Vallarta and all were excellent. However, Casa Male was our favorite. We received and amazing upgrade, staff was amazing, and it was in a great location. This hotel is definitely on the list of redos.
- Cynthia (10/5): - The hotel was clean, staff was friendly and the location was prime. My only complaint was that the space was tight. I didn’t have anywhere to put my suitcase and there wasn’t a full length mirror. Having said that, they did manage to put a fridge, small dining space and nespresso. Bottom line, if you don’t mind being a little cramped, this is a lovely spot in a beautiful location.
- Jorge (10/5): - A beautiful property in a safe and vibrant neighborhood, with plenty of dining options and across Parque Mexico, allowing for a very peaceful stay in Mexico City.
- giner (8/5): - Property was good, room was nice and big!
- ELIZABETH (10/5): - WOW! I am blown away by the quaintness, friendly staff and condition of Casa Mali. The neighborhood is wonderful with several restaurants within walking distance (don’t miss Maque or Ostreria 109) and there is a beautiful park right across the street. Rooms are very clean, they will store your bags for free and the bed couldn’t have been more comfortable. Will definitely be staying here again!
- Emily (10/5): - I stay here almost every time I go to CDMX, the people who work at Casa Mali are so friendly and kind, the morning breakfast is lovely and the location could not be better. The rooms are spacious, nicely appointed and clean. highly recommend.
- Mark (8/5): - Nice place with fair prices. Except for the cut fruit, the morning breakfast was really underwhelming. A key issue is that the faucet in our room had a very loud screeching sound when turned on (so we couldn't use it when others were sleeping).
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonderful staff! Great rooms and amenities. Location is perfect!
- Emily (10/5): - always a great stay. The people at Casa mali are so kind and helpful!
- Zell (10/5): Perfect accommodations in a perfect location - We loved Casa Mali. This was our first ever visit to Mexico City, and we really lucked out by choosing Casa Mali. The property is in a fantastic location on a street lined with energetic cafes and right across the street from a beautiful park. The property itself is only 4 floors with approximately 5 rooms on each floor, so it's pretty quiet and guests are able to receive more attention. Our room with clean and very large (we stayed in a junior suite). A "cold" breakfast comprised of fruit, breads/pastries, yogurt, oatmeal, meats, cheeses, boiled eggs, juices, and Nespresso coffee was served on the main lobby level each morning. There was always someone at the front desk and there was a hotel doorman. The staff was very friendly and accommodating of my poor attempts at speaking Spanish. My partner and I would definitely stay at Casa Mali again. We highly recommend it.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Casa Mali is a little jewel of a hotel boasting beautiful art deco features throughout. The rooms are clean and quiet, beds are super comfy, the staff helpful and courteous. Breakfast is a nice selection of assorted fruit platter, assorted breads, yogurt, boiled eggs, great coffee. Filtered water in refillable bottles is a bonus. Hotel location could not be better! Had a great time and would most definitely look forward to staying there again.
- John (10/5): - One of the most enjoyable places I've stayed at in over 50 years of international travel. A wonderful location across from a beautiful park, small size (only 20 rooms), and wonderful staff. Our suite was awesome - full kitchen, dining area, and living room - and the breakfast was much more than the typical continental spread served in a great lounge area. One of the cleanest and best appointed places ever! All-in-all a superlative experience and Casa Mali La Condesa will definitely where I stay when I'm next in Mexico City!
- Paula (10/5): Great stay in Roma - Great location in Roma area across from a lovely park and lots of great food options in walking distance. Really pretty room and lots of space. Super comfy bed. Bathroom has a small counter so had to store most items underneath. Despite location, very quite. Breakfast was mediocre so I would go elsewhere to one of the many places around.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location. Clean, secure. Friendly staff
- Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing stay in condesa - great value! - very excellent stay - the rooms were very spacious and property is excellent value for the price. Location is very wonderful by the park and service was great and in room amenities good. The only thing that made it not perfect was you can sometimes hear hallway noise but this is a very small complaint for an overall amazing stay. Would definitely book again
- Monica (10/5): - Great location, super helpful staff. Amenities ok but be aware they charge you for coffee after first day (although breakfast downstairs has free coffee).
Nice neighborhood
A bit noisy at night from other hotel residents but overall a great place and we will definitely be going there again!!
- Donna (10/5): - Safe, quiet, easy access to park for our pup and restaurants for us.
- Mimi (8/5): - breakfast was pretty basic but th property was awesme. clean! location was wonderful and staff super friendly! would def cme back here again!
