- Mike (6/5): -
- Neil (10/5): - Location and cleanliness Nothing
- Bassam (6/5): Good experience - Management No breakfast
- Christina (8/5): Did the job. Comfortable bed cheapest around we could find. - It was fine. Doors locked, beds where comfortable, was told we could leave early no problem without bothering the staff since we had to leave just before 7 to get to Oshawa. Tv stoped working round 9 30 pm, we dident feel like bothering staff so we just turned it off n went to bed.
Tried to boil some water for the instant coffie left to use. It immediately started smoking like crazy so we unplugged it and decided to drive n get a better one.
Hated the light on the wall vary bright only way to watch tv and not get a head cake was to turn it off. Wish there was a smaller lamp or something would have been better.

- JOEL ALEXANDER (10/5): -
- Brandon (6/5): Barely adequate - The staff were friendly however the inn is in need of some serious updating. Plastered over ceiling from an old leak. Room is dark and dreary due to the paint colour on the walls and the dingy carpet. The bathroom was rough looking as it was banged up and not cleaned to a high standard. The host was very friendly. I think if they updated and cleaned better I would be happy to return
- Anh (3/5): - Good location Bed is not clean. There is yellow stain on the bed. Room has smell
- Kevin (10/5): -
- Kevan (8/5): It was what I wanted - It was peaceful and quite Ok
- Johnathan (5/5): -
- manon (3/5): - propreté
- Kimberley (5/5): The staff were lovely and quick check in. - It was right off the highway. Made it very easy for travelling through Loud, lots of street noise. Lots of light coming in the windows from outside lights. Condom wrapper still under bed.
- Teresa (6/5): -
- Robert (8/5): -
- Scott (2/5): - Room was clean People screaming outside my room fighting and I call office at check out time to tell them I would be out in 10-15 minutes no answer on phone and they came knocking on my door 5 minutes after 11 was but ridiculous for the cost I paid to stay in the dive
- LaPointe (3/5): -
- Chafe (8/5): Comfortable - There was no breakfast available Tea n coffee
- Susie (1/5): -
- Dam N Guy (4/5): -
- Darren (7/5): A good quick stop over stay. - The price was good for the location
- Amanda (5/5): -
- Ibrahim (8/5): -
- Rolf (2/5): - Noisy, smelly, no pillowcases, parking lot was full of garbage and debris, annd so on… and not worth $100/night… maybe $50 ??
- Mike (6/5): - Friendly efficient reception. Room was spotless but very dated. No question it is for the budget minded. The good news was the spotless condition - both the room and the bathroom. The room seemed well equipped but my TV wasn’t working, in fairness I didn’t complain because I had my laptop. The lack of night table lamps or wall sconces left me with one very bright ceiling fixture that was actually mounted on the wall above the TV. With the surface mounted wiring in the room it was clear the cheapest options were taken at every turn. The light was so bright it wasn’t feasible to leave it on. Staring down at the bed from the wall it put a glare on everything. I don’t know how you would watch the TV with the light sitting above it; the glare created just looking at my laptop was bad! I went to bed with the bathroom light, and therefore the fan, on all night. And kept my phone close by for use as a flashlight. The big disappointment was discovering that my Wi-Fi password expired at midnight rather than the usual checkout time. With no TV, and no Internet it became a very dull night.
If The only thing that matters to you are a very low price, and a very clean room You will probably be happy here. If you expect to be able to put a chair in front of the desk, if you want the digital world to work, and you prefer a newer, or firmer mattress then you should probably look elsewhere. I have done well in the past with budget hotels/motels, but this one was a disappointment..
- Diego (10/5): - Good location
- Margaret (6/5): - Need to remove carpets and substitute with wood flooring or another material.
- Eliane (10/5): -
- Madeleine (8/5): - the establishment is old but very clean and comfortable. The only thing is that the washroom is a little tight for a bigger person, but we managed. The staff are very pleasant. We were 4 people and the size of the room was spacious enough to be at ease. Will go back.
- kulvinder (2/5): - this motel is not liveable , i don’t know how that city allows that motel to work there ,
- Amy (10/5): -
- jeremy (8/5): - Clean rooms with great management and friendly staff ,close to most amenities
- Cedric (10/5): -
- Raymond (10/5): - Easy access, good price, clean rooms. What more can u ask for? Totally worth the price.
- Tammy (8/5): Would stay there again - I was looking for someplace along my route outside of Toronto and the hustle and bustle. It is a very tiny motel situated beside a large hotel but shen I got there there were lots of people sitting in Muskoka chairs outside their rooms, which was somehow comforting. It wasn't much to look at but very clean and the bed was amazing.
- keith (8/5): - Warm clean and comfy.
- Pauline (5/5): - Location Room was very dated and smelled awful
- Heather (10/5): - The beds were extremely comfortable.
For the price we paid, we cannot expect, a luxury hotel and I cannot understand travelers reviews that expect a 5 star.
There was no blood stains. We were not murdered, lol :)
The neighbourhood is very safe and quiet, however there is the convenience of restaurants right next door and the highway is close by.
The hotel manager was very nice, even though I clearly woke him up as it was a very late check in.
I would stay there again.
- Dominic (8/5): Très bien - Bon rapport qualité prix Les autres clients
- Cathy (8/5): - I like the fact that this is a family run business. There are no big fancy extras, but a good family business where they treat you well and the facilities are clean and simple.
- John (4/5): - This is more of a month to month or weekly rental. It loks like the owners are trying to fix this dated property up. I would not stay again.
- Danijela (8/5): -
- Michelle (8/5): - Nice hotel for the price. Staff was very friendly.
- Marc (4/5): - Not the best place to stay,
- Bryan (8/5): - I mean I was staying for a baseball tournament not a crazy amount of time spent here only to sleep decent bed clean room felt safe good enough for me
- Miriam (8/5): - Appreciated the availability of staff and the convenience off Hwy 401.
- Richard (8/5): -
- Bruno (6/5): Low price, acceptable - Next to the highway, confortable bed, clean sheets , tv and wifi ok , terrace in front of the room to smoke Siren go on across the street all evening , very old carpet , water leaking in shower
- St-pierre (1/5): Insalubres........
- Miriam (8/5): - The property is on a busy road so noisy. It feels run down but the room is clean and the bed comfortable.
- Jason (8/5): - lots of amenities
- Ihab (2/5): - The bed smells bad.
Niose from other room is loud and clear
- Michel (4/5): - Good for a night sleep, no more.
- Debra (1/5): Bad - Nothing Everything
- Kathleen (2/5): Disappointing - Traffic Noise
- Normand (8/5): - Affordable and clean. Didn’t like noisy
- Gordon (3/5): Not horrible, won’t stay again though or recommend. - Location. Happy enough with small basic room. Room smelt, strongly, of disinfectant. Still smelt it following morning.
No chair for desk.
Power outlets on either side of the bed didn’t work.
TV didn’t work.
- Marc (6/5): - If your spending more then just the night it's the wrong place to stay!
- Liz (6/5): Give it a chance - I liked that I could go outside my door and have a smoke. The room was clean and comfortable. It was quiet even though it was a high traffic area.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Convenient and affordable motel for a one night stay. Close to salmon fishing marinas.
- I9376SRdeniseh (2/5): Worst place I’ve been - This place reminds me of Schitt’s Creek motel .
My husband and I will never be back. It is outdated and a noisy place to stay. Not a good place if you need to get sleep.
- Islam (7/5): okay - was affordable. Pillows were too soft, one more chair needed, towels were black and dirty, TV was not working.
- Richard (6/5): - Budget stay
- Emma (4/5): - The property was alright, but expensive for the quality... Weird smell, but some airfresheners helped! The property owners were nice! Main thing that inspired the two stars is that the cleanliness was not great... Shower was clogged and the carpeted floor was musty... Thankfully, we were only there to sleep!
- Vaidhyanathan (8/5): - Very good ambience. Nice clean property and quiet area. Highly recommended. The price is slightly on higher side but given long weekend its acceptable. Overall great area and nice location.
- Grant (1/5): Horrible, the rooms are very dirty and have bed bugs, this motel is owned by a family of indians - Nothing Everything, rooms have bed bugs
- Ott (3/5): Poor - Location Terrible t.v. no channels..dirty floors. small. Firty bathroom
- Heather (1/5): Bad -
- Verified traveler (4/5): I will not recommended to other people - Accommodation are Overy old ! The TV was not working ! No cable available or for a Veryl Very Short time ! Soap & Shampoo for only one person ! As we where two (2) ! General appearance as for the: - Paint of wall & Ceiling show it was done unprofessionly; - Ceiling was looking as it had leaking before & wasn’t repair professionnely; - The furniture was stain & Very Old ! Also, a homeless person was sleeping outside of our room, and for some time, as he had a bench & a matress, for what it seem a wile ! The only good point, was the "Bathroom" was very cilean.
- Greg (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kevin (10/5): - perfect for the night and the price. A little dated but clean
- Yousafzai (10/5): Overall I had great experience. - The team of management The windows needs to be sound proof because of road.
- Debbie (10/5): - Light outside of our room very bright and didn’t shut off
- June (1/5): tired, no rest, affected my peformance at work - location was good The place is a rooming house with acomatation for truckers, smoking allover, and loud nois all night and early morning
- Gurpal (7/5): Good -
- Oluwole (8/5): Very good -
- Johnston (1/5): Disappointed - The cleanliness of the room This was booked for our bus driver. He said he had prostitutes knocking on his door all night and when he went to complain the owner said just to ignore them. Someone also went onto the bus during the night as the door was opened two times. Not impressed
- Jeremy (8/5): 3 star - Nice place and staff. Decor old needs to upgrade building inside and out. 3 star accommodation. Can hear traffic off street.
- Dane (8/5): - It’s a nice hotel for the price. Not fancy but affordable.
- Hatch (1/5): Bad -
- Cherry (4/5): - Economical
- Corrinna (10/5): - Maybe just some up to date cosmetics. Coat of paint. Fresh carpeting. Other than that, better than expected for such a great price
- Johanne (2/5): - We only had 1 towelin our room, we requested a second one and the person at the desk said "you only have one towel" and I said yes, he then said " I will send someone to make sure you only have one towel" When the person arrived at our room they came in without knocking on the door. This made us feel very uneasy so we put our deadbolt on. Very sketchy place, avoid if you can.
- Tracey (5/5): Passable -
- RoseAnne (6/5): - Tv didn't work
- Davud (8/5): Very good -
- Warren (4/5): Ho Hum - Property is old and outdated just like the bed linen’s. The pillow cases were actual pillow covers. The traffic noise will keep you up all night. I didn’t see any bugs but felt like they were there. I think staying in a bus shelter would’ve been more comfortable.
- Jeff (4/5): - Entry door to the room hard to operate.
6 trys to open it.
The heater in the room kept cutting out.
No wash cloths supplied.
Room not properly cleaned.
- David (8/5): - It is what it is
- Ohiani (1/5): Bad -
- David (3/5): Stayed here mainly due to poor driving conditions that evening but the room was old - Bed was comfortable Entered room and no heat
It took over an hour to heat up the room from 10c to 21c
- 이파니 (1/5): Bad - Nothing. Everything. Absolutely disgusting. TV didn't work. Bed and sheets smelled like B.O. shower faucet flew off the wall when I turned the water on. Heater wouldn't heat more than 16 degrees but it was -10 outside. The blankets and pillow were as thin as paper. Froze all night. Tried to get money back but was refused. Should have slept in my car.
- Ian (10/5): Great stay, good reception, comfy room - Clean, close to everything Nothing—all good
