- Akhil (8/5): - House keeping must step up, lot of cobwebs spotted. Toilet wasn’t clean. Washing machine was loaded with towels.
Very friendly staff at the reception but they need more training to familiarize the facilities available. I was given wrong information for pool and chairlift over the phone, but got the correct info when I went in person. For me personally these aren’t major issues
- Kathia (10/5): - I love everything about staying here!! The front desk are so nice and welcoming!! I really appreciate and recommend this place
- Jocelin (10/5): Liitle get away - I think it needs some wall touch ups and new shower liners , other than that is was a pleasant stay.
- Brian (9/5): Superb - Condo was very nice and spacious.
Beautiful views.
We all had great rooms and plenty of space. Didn't get to spend enough time there.
- Kayla (4/5): Beautiful area but unit m202 needs work - Great location on the mountain The condo that we stayed in m202 had so many things broken in it. The fire place door, the closet doors, 2 window screens were broken, one window in bedroom wouldn’t open and it was 80 degrees in the condo. one of the bunk beds was bungee corded on. The extra sheets were so old and stained we didn’t want to use them. This unit needs some serious tlc. We would have enjoyed our time more if this unit was kept up with and a nicer place to stay. Not worth the money we put out to stay there
- Mohammad (10/5): Best place in Okemo - Everything
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (10/5): - Beautiful, cozy and clean
- Jeffrey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alfred (8/5): exactly what we hoped to get in a ski in ski out location - walking distance to trails, cozy fireplace and plenty of room to stretch out. the furnishings are dated but doesn’t affect the comfort.
- Ewelina (9/5): Superb -
- Mohammad (10/5): Exceptional - mostly everything
- Jodi (10/5): we stayed for a wedding. it was a perfect little getaway! - Clean, warm and inviting. comfortable and homey. nothing
- Raymond (10/5): Wonderful stay in beautiful Vermont - Winterplace at Okemo definitely exceeded my expectations. Our unit was similar to other condo type timeshares. Unit was clean, kept up well, and was filled with fun and games right in the unit. There was a library of DVDs and board games. Full kitchen, fireplace, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, washer, and dryer. My stay was only a short one, just 2 nights, and was my first trip to Vermont, so not much time was spent in the unit other than for sleeping. If I am ever back in the area, which is very possible, I will hopefully be able to stay here. This unit is part of the Jackson Gore lodge, which itself is also very charming. If there was anything negative to say, it would probably be that I would have liked the roads and parking in front of the unit to be paved, and not gravel.
- Robert S. (10/5): Great Week - We had a great week in this unit. It's just a short walk to the lifts, it was clean and well appointed. I would stay in this unit again
- Thomas D. (10/5): Perfect Ski on/Ski off Okemo Getaway - This property was perfect for what my friends and I were looking for. The condo style unit was less than a 5 minute walk to the nearest trail which was especially convenient this season. The pictures in the listing did not match the actual unit we stayed in. However, this was not an issue as the unit we received was more than adequate for our stay and had the same number of beds, baths and amenities listed. Overall, I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a stay on Okemo Mountain.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Okemo Jackson Gore - Got moved from winterplace to Jackson gore. New room was clean and comfortable. Right in the trail.
- JC (6/5): - This was a nice condo on the mountain, but checking in and finding the property in the dark was a challenge. There is no notice ahead of travel or at Okemo to let you know you have to drive over to Jackson Gore for check in. It was pure luck someone was walking through the Okemo base that we learned about check in at Jackson Gore. Process is smooth but you do need to speak with a person.
The condo was not the cleanest - but it appeared to not have been used for some time, so perhaps the dust. The carpet especially did not seem to have been vacuumed in some time and the kitchen counters had dirt on them. Utensils, dishes, appliances, etc all seemed clean but the bathrooms had hair and dirt in the tubs. We only used one of the two bathrooms for that reason. And the pillows provided were only the throw type - you have to dig through the closets and find pillows for the beds and clean cases to put them in.
Finally, navigating the drive around the mountain at night is difficult. Some lighting around the signs to driveways and the many properties on the mountain would go a long way.
- John (10/5): - Very friendly accommodating staff, unit had everything and was clean, great location.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Loved the location although we had to really explore to understand the proximity to the ski trail.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - There was only 1 bar of soap and bottle of shampoo for my 4 night stay
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Absolutely stunning and amazing! Blown away with the new properties at Okemo - hidden gem.
- Martha (10/5): very comfortable condo - The condo was really nice, figuring out how to get our key was a little challenging. You have to go to Jacksons Gore Inn to pick up the key, not the base lodge at Okemo. We were glad we arrived in daylight versus at night to find our way.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nothing about checkin was communicated to us. We got here and had to run all around the buildings to find someone that then told us to go to Jackson gore inn to checkin and then Come back. No one was answering the phone either. When we came back we still couldn’t find it. Had to figure it out after more searching and no help from guest service.
However the accommodations are beautiful. So at least we were rewarded for sticking to it.
- Amy (10/5): Cozy mountain retreat! - The condo at Winterplace was beautiful, spacious and so cozy and comfortable! Very well maintained, equipped with all you would need for overnight or for a week! The ONLY thing we weren’t expecting or informed of was that there wasn’t any air conditioning! We were there in the off season on an unseasonably warm day/night with 84 degree weather, so it was a little warm in the condo. Maybe just mention that in the room description!
- Jeanne H. (8/5): Great! - We loved the views and the hike from the Sunburst six lift.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Recommended - Great place to stay with great views
- Vimal (8/5): - Old condo but worth for the money spent. We were three family total of 10 adults, had a great time.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I am very disappointed with the way we were welcome and checked in , no proper communication with direction to the Unit from main building no internet in the unit when asked, receptionist said that the winter place units do not have WIFI . No pass code was given to the pool at the time of check in , Unit was very old with bad smells ( amenities were okay) .
BTW - I should mention one thing, Michael at the reception was very nice and helpful in directing us to the unit even though he was not the one who checked us in . He arranged us an escort to the unit otherwise we would have lost in the Mountains.
- Ange (2/5): - I have never been more frustrated with a property than this place as our Expedia confirmation stated an after 5pm check in but when we got to the place the office hours were until 3pm so no one was there to check us in and no one answered the help telephone numbers on the confirm or on the office door.
- thomas (8/5): Winterplace at Okemo springtime - Clean roomy unit, check in was a little confusing as it was not marked on the reservation and in a different section of the mountain
