The facilities were of a high standard including walk in wet room. The breakfast was lovely and the owners were really helpful. The bus timings might not suit everyone so worth a check.

Our room and ensuite were spotless. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty and cooked to perfection. The honesty bar and lounge was a nice touch too. Nothing really. We had a ground floor room and could hear the occupants of the room above moving about around 6.30am. But this didn't overly bother us.

The host, Jayne, was absolutely excellent – warm and welcoming without ever being overbearing. She has a real attention to detail, and it shows in every aspect of the stay. From thoughtful suggestions on things to do in the area, to the small touches that made us feel completely looked after, nothing was overlooked. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Each night we returned to find full service: fresh towels, replenished tea, coffee, and cookies – those little touches that make such a difference. Breakfast each morning was outstanding, with a delicious cooked option alongside a fresh fruit salad and cereals etc. The host is clearly a perfectionist in the best possible way, ensuring guests feel both comfortable and cared for. It’s rare to find a place where the small things are done so well, and it really elevated our experience. Highly recommended – you won’t regret staying here!

We felt very spoiled! The room was fantastic too with modern and well equipped en-suite shower room and plenty of storage space. Strongly recommended!

The room had its own shower room and toilet a bit on the small side but fine for us. The property was in a lovely location. The breakfast room was comfortable and inviting, with a good selection of fresh fruit, cereal and jams. The cooked breakfast was delicious with multiple choices available. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome, like a home from home. We had to leave!

Friendly welcome from host Jayne on arrival and were looked after by Jayne & Terry throughout our stay with nothing too much trouble. House well presented with attractive decor and delightful pictures etc. . We had specifically booked the room with disability access/facilities for my wife and we were more than happy with this. Good range of breakfast options available in delightful room - and helpful advice on local restaurants and attractions available as required. Particularly applaud the environment-friendly strategy Nothing really - high attention to detail by hosts and a well-appointed house/home (would perhaps have liked option of a firmer pillow - just a personal preference)

Had great sleep in very comfortable bed. Although located on a main road, the property is very quiet - no road noise. Also, no single use plastics - very environmentally friendly. Jane and Terry are welcoming, helpful and friendly. Got some good surf advice from Terry. Lovely breakfast room and very enjoyable breakfast. A small self-service bar provides a large range of alcohol and soft drinks with 'honesty jar'. There isn't anything not to like. All details are taken care of to the highest level. Wonderful home.

- Peter (10/5): Wonderful B&B, Wonderfully Run. - A wonderful B&B, run well by Jayne and family. Our room was a little small, but pleasantly decorated and well equipped. Everything (including wifi) worked, and bed comfy. Breakfasts were exceptional. Entire property elegant, clean and tidy. Location was good as a starting point for exploring north Devon (which is lovely). However, would need a car or local buses - not easy to walk anywhere from property.
