- sally (10/5): - Heaps of character and a warm welcome. Amazing bar. It is only open as a B&B now but well worth ordering food to eat in - a 16th century inn all to ourselves!
- Tessa (8/5): - Totally unique property. Quirky bar and breakfast room. Peaceful accommodation in a beautiful setting.
- Judith (10/5): - Delicious breakfast, extensive choice. Very comfortable kingsize bed. Towelling bathrobes, handmade soap for a luxury feel. Spacious rooms. Proper fresh milk in the little fridge in the room for hot drinks. Isolated spot on Dartmoor, surrounded by beautiful countryside.
- Gary (8/5): - A character property with nice views. The room was comfortable & warm. There was thick heavy dressing gowns to relax into... Perfect. Good supply of morning refreshments with fresh milk in the fridge & two bottles of water at know extra charge. The management were very hospitable & the breakfast was very substantial. This is a friendly, homely place to stay.
- letitia (8/5): - Lovely owners, retricted
- Cassian (6/5): - Unfortunately the owners have decided against reopening the bar which is disappointing. Pleasant place to stay for a night or two but would avoid against any lengthly stays as beds are incredibly soft and uncomfortable.
