- Heather (8/5): Perfect weekend away in Staithes! - Excellent location right in Staithes village! Think there was a ghost in the little bathroom!
- Jonathan (10/5): Great location - Nice location, nice little old pub super friendly and helpful staff, and great breakfast No negative, was,ny en suit, but super bathroom 5 paces from room just for that room
- Dave (9/5): A hidden gem you must visit. Staithes is good too. - The pub is at the very heart of this large village. Everything is a two minute walk.We loved our stay here. The rooms were super clean and well presented I suspect there has been a recent refurb as everything was immaculate. The breakfast was excellently presented and great quality. We had the full English but other options were available. For the price we paid in this popular location I was very happy with my stay and would recommend it highly. The issue I have is not really with the hotel as they can do nothing about it but a heads up would have been nice and the title āwhat I didnāt likeāis too strong as we absolutely loved Staithes and will visit again.
The tourist area of Staithes is accessed by a narrow road down a very steep hill. At the top of the hill is a very prominent no entry to vehicles sign Next to this is a car park so we parked up paying £8.70 for 24hrs. (Great value)We then walked to the hotel with all of our bags etc. upon departure I was told that vehicles can access the village for 40 mins to unload/load. It would have been nice to know this beforehand. It is a lovely walk down the hill but not when you forget to pack light.
- Lindsey (10/5): Cosy, comfortable, friendly little pub with outstanding food. - Lovely cosy, friendly pub. Very clean and comfortable. Tea,coffee and bottled water in rooms. The food was fabulous! Really great breakfast and the steak pie was amazing!

- tracy (10/5): - Lovely food , comfortable room, great location. The one and only thing was the pillows, they were very flat and need replacing.
- Jayne (10/5): Great location friendly staff - Great location lots of charm and character and friendly staff Nothing
- Natalie (10/5): - A cosy stay in a great location.
Friendly, helpful staff.
Great breakfast, the best full English we've ever had in a B&B.
- Louise (9/5): Nice little pub with good food and friendly staff. We stayed overnight. The room was comfortable and clean and the break - Clean, comfortable, nicely decorated
- Deb080465 (10/5): - Such a live place to stay in beautiful Staithes.
We had a lovely double with en suite, very quiet, slept well.
Everything was very clean, modern bathroom. N/A
- Carroll (8/5): -
- Lynn (5/5): - Staff were super friendly and helpful It was massively overpriced for one person for one night
- Matthew (10/5): - Excellent stay with lovely staff, fantastic food and the best guiness in the area.
- Keith (8/5): Lovely & quaint seaside village place but seriously think about where your going to park your car - We liked the Pub atmosphere when we arrived sun night. We were efficiently shown our room & where breakfast would be. We had evening meal there which is typically large portion Pub Grub. The bed was comfortable. The shower/toilet was very clean but bit cramped due to the nature of the building. Having to park the car at the top of the very steep hill. Yes you can drive down & drop your cases off & one of you has to sort of the ridiculous car park āonlineā booking (why you canāt use contactless card is beyond me) & then walk down cobbled road down (bearable) but next morning going up the hill to get the car to come back down & collect your cases was physically challenging to the point of exhaustion. For pensioners I would not recommend it.

- Kate (9/5): Comfortable stay in the heart of Staithes - The pub is in the heart of Staithes village and was cosy and welcoming on a bitterly cold day. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and we enjoyed our evening meal (Iād recommend the pie). Nothing
- Patricia (8/5): Really enjoyed our stay lovely fishing village - Great situation although dropping off bags can be bit chaotic but that canāt be helped as roads narrow down to harbour
- Judith (8/5): -
- Verena (10/5): Quiet comfy cosy stay - It was quiet comfy good value for money great breakfast and service Nothing to not like
- MsBarb (10/5): Loved the quirky hotel and Staithes is just great. - Breakfast was excellent. Delicious, plenty of selection, plenty of it. Delightfully served. Timed when we wanted it too.
Lovely location for eating and great window view.
Bedroom was extremely comfortable, very clean.
The staff were extremely polite and very helpful in helping carry our luggage up the stairs. The stairs up to the room were just hard for my husband, who is disabled. But it was my own fault for not checking with the hotel before our stay. I should have asked about accessibility. Also parking was a problem and I should have realised having visited Staithes before. So no fault of the hotel.

Hollandaise sauce with breakfast was not the real deal but loved our stay.

- Tim (9/5): great property and would recommend to all. - Helpful friendly staff, well appointed room which was spotless, excellent food in the bar and the included breakfast was superb. Nothing to do with the property but the hill to the village is very steep especially for older people.

The duvet 10.5 tog was a little too warm for us on a hot summer night. We removed the duvet and just used the duvet cover and sheet and were plenty warm enough. It would help if the curtain was kept closed in the afternoon to stop the room heating up.
