Ample options at breakfast, both chinese and western (though coffee machine is very slow!) Location of hotel. There is not much to do in the area. Wifi is too wesk for sustaining vpn. Airco rather loud and weak. Airco in gym area too hot

- Camper41798371885 (6/5): The hotel is average. It is normal Sheraton standard but the service is not exception. Nothing surprising. - The hotel is about average. The service is so so but the staff English level is poor. They can’t order room service for us in English. Only their marketing director welcomed us the first day in English. After that, everyone can’t communicate with us. Second, I am very upset with the mailing service as they don’t accept any other mails beside Sf and JD, they can’t help me to pick up the packets from the lockers and it was told after they did two times for me. We stayed for two weeks, they want to charge us printing for 8 pages. The food in the breakfast was boring, the cheese is stale and expired. They served after days and left over. We don’t complain too much because breakfast and dinner( happy hour ) are free. The room is normal and spacious but the hotel guests are loud and we had few times the neighbors were singing and screaming in the room and corridor( it is China) everyone screams!

- Karthik11179 (6/5): Basic on all aspects - Happened to stay for a night at this property during my recent visit to China. The hotel is large and given its a bit old, the rooms and wash area are massive. So in terms of size, it's great value for money. But apart from that, the hotel and the rooms need a desperate upgrade to be on par with what a business traveller would need. Right from the AC to the Led TV, this hotel needs a makeover. There aren't many 3 start and above properties in this town, so guess that explains the lower benchmark when compared to other sheraton properties.

- 15serges (4/5): 4 star Sheraton - This is a 5 star hotel in the new developped part of Chuzhou in Anhui, but I don't think it is 5 stars worth. Yes off course it has all the Sheraton facilities, as a fitness room, a swimming pool, a club, some restaurants, nice rooms, but still there is.misding something. Being in China English is not the common language, but at least at the reception desk all the staff should be able to speak English, duh No. Although Chinese are very helpfull people, seem leading staff here be very stuborn. So all these little things make me say a 4 star hotel instead of 5.
- Arena_X (4/5): 友好酒店 - Staff service attitude is very kind, the manager on duty reception, on time to check in. During the stay also provides personalized service, which makes the trip quite satisfactory. The hotel has adequate epidemic prevention measures, all staff wear masks, will be cleaned and disinfected in time. Breakfast is very rich, although a little cold, but warm noodles and wonton can choose from, cake is also very good. The waiter is also very warm, actually there are hot bean curd. The whole trip was reassuring.

The dining experience for both breakfast and dinner is very good. A nice mix of fresh fruit options, traditional Asian as well as western options to suit any palette.

Although the Sheraton Lounge wasn't open, we did take advantage of the restaurant (Feast), where the breakfast and dinner selections were excellent (some additional beer choices for dinner may be worth considering, though). The rooms were very comfortable, the swimming pool perfect, and the staff very attentive. There isn't much in the immediate vicinity, but a taxi and short train ride can bring you to Nanjing, which was our main goal. Overall, I fully recommend here.
- arnoldd920 (8/5): Rose amongst Thorns - Chuzhou is one of those growing before your eyes kinda Cities. If The Sheraton was a tree - all sorts of new buildings are sprouting up around it. The staff are really friendly - the room huge and well equiped, clean and lovely. Take a stroll around and imagine the city that will be here in 3 years time. I can see the farms from my window - this part of the city is that new. Tall mostly empty buildings surround us - soon I imagine - they will be completed and full
- marcelo_ru (8/5): Appreciated it! - Rooms are quite nice, very clean and quiet. For breakfast or dinner there are different foods and a big diversity (Chinese and Western)! And the service is very nice too. Only somehow quite far away from Chuzhou Downtown, but you can arrive everything by taxi.
- travelworld1170 (8/5): Beautiful building, developing location – but overall impressive for a small city - Ultimately this place was great for Chuzhou – a city I don’t think has a ton of hotel options (nor really is a size where it needs them). But just a couple things to be aware of when booking: • Facility is really everything you’d expect from a recently constructed Sheraton and very impressive for a very much lower tier city like Chuzhou – very grand lobby, two-story lounge on the ~40th or so story with great views, multiple restaurants etc. The Ctrip listing for the hotel cites a 600 m RMB investment in building the property (and attached areas?). And furthermore it does look like the hotel is being well cared for – things are clean and in good condition. • We were proactively upgraded as Platinum members to a very nice suite – well furnished. When you start thinking you could live in this suite for less than an apartment in a major city rents for… • While I speak Chinese, I would note that the English level I observed at this hotel was among the lowest I’ve ever seen at a Western (Chinese standard) 5-star hotel in China. Even the lounge attendants for example did not appear to have been trained to ask Westerners “What is your room number?”….I watched the attendant ask more than one European person using Chinese…which was a bit of a comedy of errors. There did seem to be at least one manager who spoke decent English floating around as well. • While choosing a hotel in Chuzhou (with an urban population of ~500k) is a bit different than say a larger city….it’s good to be at least aware of the location. The Sheraton is very much in a new development district of massive avenues, some completed residences & the newly relocated government, and a lot of construction projects. It is ~5 km away from the older, and still primary, commercial core of Chuzhou – at this point there are very few shops or restaurants around the hotel area. Conversely it’s a similar distance the other way to the high-speed rail station (from which it’s basically 15 minutes to Nanjing). Overall, this hotel does a great job of bringing a higher standard to Anhui’s ~4th largest city. It’s probably a bit ahead of the market at this point, but enjoy it while you can as the city continues to develop.
- NeilaHannah (10/5): Very nice and cozy - I'm used to stay at least once a month in the Sheraton in Chuzhou city and it's always with a great pleasure. It's modern, rooms are big, clean and well furnished. Staff is very nice and caring with much attention. I never faced big issues, but I have no doubt I'll be satisfied in my requests, especially with the help of famous Thomas!
- BernardoStephano (10/5): Great hotel for business in Chuzhou - I have been staying many times in this hotel since we have a factory in Chuzhou. Its always great to stay with them. The service and the attention is great. And they are always looking forward to help. Have a good Chinese restaurante with private room for many guests. They have a nice indoor pool. The hotel is almost new. So i was amazed that in a city like Chuzhou you could find a hotel like it. And the price is super competitive.
- Jonas_Hj (10/5): Very elegant hotel and friendly staff! - During the past 12 months I have been a frequent guest at this hotel - at the so far 7 different occasions I have enjoyed every visit to the most. Indeed very nice, polite and friendly staff who serves you in English with any question or inquire you might have. The hotel have quite big, elegant and functional rooms and a good location near the railway station. The area around the hotel is under development and I am sure that over time there will be more shops and restaurants close by. Even though the restaurants in the hotel are very good you might want to visit the city center for a change. The friendly staff quickly arrange a taxi for you and you are there in roughly 15 minutes. Remember to pick up the clever hotel business card at the lobby with instructions in Chinese to show to the taxi driver for your return. I bring also my customers to this hotel when visiting our facilities and I can trust they will feel welcomed and comfortably during their stay. My highest recommendations.
- Michiko111 (10/5): Outstanding Hotel - This is an outstanding hotel in all respects. Everyone from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave is polite, smiling and leaving you feeling really welcomed. Spacious room,high standard of cleanliness, great bars & restaurants. The staff were extremely cheerful and helpful. I hope I can visit again soon.
- badmire (6/5): A bit disappointing - The hotel is big, very stylish and pretty but the staff is a bit disappointing. I travel a lot and have stayed at many hotels and I tend to try to over rate them. Today it is mid March and the heat is on so to cool my room I was told to open the window. It took several calls to have someone in English help me to understand even that. On check-in there was one girl working the counter on two guests. Then me and my colleague arrived and about 10 min later other reception staff came to help check us in. There was one guy working the gym, pool and locker room. The spa and showers could be better cleaned to let one know that they have been properly cleaned and sanitized. My room is comfortable and clean. I just hope it cools down before I must shut the window to sleep. The pictures of the entrance and lobby already loaded are accurate. Here are a few of my room. I am just a bit disappointed. I hope the General Manager will take my comments and work with the staff to improve. Thank you.
- dougm615 (8/5): Good hotel close to the train station - Very nice hotel, has some issues. Elevators don't work right, one whole bank does not work at all, the other always stops at a random floor. Very nice rooms and very nice beds. Stayed here a couple of times, always can find an english speaking staff member.
