- Austin (1/5): Absolutely atrocious customer service, and accommodation. Don’t waste your time/money - Nothing it was a scam No shower heads in both rooms, tvs been punched out so that didn’t work. Water is constantly running in a room. Tried to get a refund after unpacking into two different rooms both without working shower heads
- Patricia (10/5): Ok - Close to Walmart in Brookeshire’s No breakfast
- Patricia (10/5): Love the front desk great people - Country setting nice people Non-applicable
- Patricia (10/5): Quiet - Country setting close to Walmart in Brookshire’s NA
- Patricia (10/5): Miserable - Beautiful country problems with the Wi-Fi. There was no shampoo in the room. There’s no breakfast no swimming pool no shampoo in the room no Wi-Fi
- Patricia (10/5): It was a really great stay until that man started playing that boombox with the lights around his window and he’s always - Beautiful serene, quiet, walking distance from Walmart or Brookshire’s The short little man drinking and playing his boombox really loud, his lights around his window
- Patricia (10/5): Overall, I had a good stay - Beautiful piece of property love the owner and the people that run the front desk Suma the help with all your needs The only thing that was annoying was there was a man that doesn’t wear a shirt he’s kind of short and he plays his boombox really really loud and he has lights around his window. I’m not wanting to complain, but he was drunk with no shirt on and his music was very loud.
- Patricia (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful, quiet, serene country setting close to Walmart in Brookshire’s Walmart in Brookshire right here place for the pets if you have them people very nice and courteous
- Dakota (7/5): -
- Margie (2/5): - Would not recommend!
- Dan (4/5): - Everything was dirty, mud all over exterior door, mud all over bathroom door. Walls were badly cracked some repaired some not. Room smelled of mildew.
Plus-well lighted parking lot
- Charlsie (2/5): - Absolutely disgusting. We checked in about 3, and went to put our bags in our room. Upon entering the room it seemed decent, it didn’t smell funny and it was could, but it had strobing colored LED lights around the top? We were able to turn them off, but I thought it odd. I went into the bathroom and immediately noticed what looked like pee or something all over the bathroom wall and a huge crack with a hole in the shower wall. I went down to the front desk and mentioned it didn’t look like our room had been cleaned and that there was a hole in the shower. They said they would send service to clean, and that the hole was fine, we could still use the shower. We left to go to a double header baseball game and did not return until midnight. When we returned, our room had not been cleaned, I went down to the front desk, but the lobby was locked. I knocked for about 10 minutes, but nobody came. In the morning I went early to tell them our room still hadn’t been cleaned, and the gentleman just shrugged his shoulders and said “I told them to clean it” … I said well they didn’t, and he just sat there and repeated himself. I decided to check out the “continental breakfast” and found it consisted of your choice of stale FrootLoops or staler Frosted Flakes. So I thought probably better we don’t eat here anyway and asked for a cup for the coffee, he pulled out a 4 oz plastic cup which started melting as soon as the coffee filled the cup. The linens and towels were stained and grimy.
- John (6/5): - The room itself was tolerable, but the shower had no toiletries or slip mat. The parking area looked like a jackhammer went wild and left a ton of potholes and loose gravel. One of the regular residents decided to break out his big speaker system outside and entertain the entire motel area with his dance music. It was OK for myself - cheap but clean is good enough for me. I am very glad I didn’t bring my family on this trip.
- Lynn (10/5): - our room was very clean. the check in was with a very polite yound man and when we told him that the TV was not working he said he will fix it. When we got back to the room later that night we found out the TV was still not working correctly. We called down to the desk and the yound man made a point to come up and work on it until he fix it. that is the type of service that we like and will tell other people about the place.
- Jimmy (6/5): - Outdated and a little run down but the room was clean with no issues and the staff was friendly. Did not have any issues.
- Jacqulyn (2/5): - The staff didn't understand English service was terrible, not able to get in the lobby to get coffee doors was locked, serval times and had to pound on the door and windows to get in. Had to ask for towels. Even though we reserved for 2 Adults we were given one cup small plastic for coffee in the room and one face towel
Never again will we stay there
- Christopher (8/5): - Very nice for the price and the staff was very accommodating.
- Mario (3/5): - Dirty sheets
Had to plug in tv Dirty sheets
Had to plug in tv
- William (1/5): Bad - At least the bed was comfortable. Description of included amenities did not match what I experienced. A/C was probably partially broken and loud at night. Bathroom light did not work and there was obvious untreated water damage on the walls. Never staying here again.
- David (5/5): The room was neat and housekeeping did a very good job. Overall, the hotel has improved over the past few years, but is - We stayed in the newer section of the property this visit and the rooms were much better than the older part of the property, but the water pressure was terrible! It took 10 minutes to rinse the shampoo out of my hair The water pressure was way too low. Someone stayed Friday night with a horse trailer and no one ever cleaned up the mess all weekend, so we had to smell urine and feces all weekend.
- Misty (1/5): No towels, - The room was nice on inside The staff, the service the drugs, had to go to Walmart to buy towels just to get a shower for the funeral I was there to attend, went and ask for towel still could not get it was an awful experience
- Jon (3/5): Poor - Location Lack of smoke detector. Just wires hanging out. Slippery shower. I about fell down
- Katelyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Llano (1/5): I Couldn’t And Didn’t stay or Use Room Very Terrible Experience My Lawyer Suggested Get on all Social Media and Let Ever - There was A Creepy Worker in a Room with a Boom Box and Lights on Door Drinking and standing outside Door 2 Doors Down from where the Room He showed Us 🤬 When I booked Room on Booking.com I called Rodeway and Requested a Bottom Floor Handicapped Room The Clerk said No PROBLEM THEN WHEN I CHECKED IN AND PAID FOR ROOM HE GAVE ME A KEY TO ROOM 234 I told Him I was Handicapped And Needed a Bottom Floor They don’t have an Elevator He said He didn’t have one but gave Us a Key to Room 134 Real Close to Worker Playing Music Loud on Boom.Box I tried to Cancel Room but He said Call Booking.com We ended up Driving Home 117 Miles to Outside Blanco After 2 Hrs and 3 Booking.com Agents I got the Agent to Cancel Room He said He Would Email Road way But They Needed to Refund Money So We Payed for a Room that We couldn’t Use Because I’m HANDICAPPED

- Robert (7/5): Good -
- Jayden (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sommer (7/5): Good -
- Hunter (8/5): Very good -
- Carol (10/5): - Friendly staff and VERY clean!!!!
- Lorene (8/5): Very good - Location was good. Best that is in the area. Needed to be kept cleaner. Breakfast ends at 9 on Saturday. He did let us get a cup of coffee as the coffee maker was missing a part so I couldn’t make coffee in room.
- Melissa (8/5): Very good -
- Andy (6/5): - Average property. THe first room we checked in , seem to have water leakage on floor. Luckily they exchange another room for me
- Jessica (8/5): - Great location
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Bed was comfortable. The property definitely could use a facelift. Breakfast was sparse, 2 kinds of cereal or waffles. Milk or coffee, juice machine was out of order.
- Tyler (2/5): - We had multiple quarter sized crickets in our room, as well as little bugs all in the bathroom. The bathroom has mold on the side walls and all above the shower. We asked for a refund and they were not willing to help us in any form. I would never recommend this property to anyone. Stay away.
- Julia (2/5): - Though my expectations were not high, this experience does rate in the top 2 of the worst motels I have stayed at in the last 40years. Now, please, dont get me wrong, if someone wants enough cracks in the walls and shower area that the humidity level remains 100% (clothes left on the counters are wet each morning) and the visit of friendly and not so friendly critters (spiders, earwigs, crickets, grasshoppers and roaches) then this is your place. In fact, had we not deemed it more unsafe to make the wee hours, post TAMU game, drive home than it would be to stay the 2nd night we would have driven.
Words of advice to future visitors, one, if left without option and you must, for your own safety, stay here, wear socks at all times, the floors are so wet and dirty, it is a fall risk and health risk otherwise. Second, don't leave specialty monogrammed towels in the room. The dirty ones used for drying things off will remain but the cute one will disappear (hmmm) wonder how that happens. Third, a towel placed under the door does help with the insects that visit from that direction, the shower area visitors, I couldnt rectify that one. Fourth, if you plan to partake in the "breakfast" offered, bring your own milk for the cereal (actually just go to Whataburger or McDonald's, they are close and the apps have good deals. Lastly, when showering think opposite day. Hot is Cold and Cold is Hot, you'll thank me later.
Thank you for the time you took to read this
- Jasmine (8/5): Hidden Gem. - The saying don’t judge a book by its cover fits this so well! The rooms were really nice clean and up to date. The staff was great and welcoming with any small issues that had came up. Lots of outside bugs like crickets but is to be expected with location.
- Ellen (2/5): Very poor - Price Holes in the towels, the bathroom door wouldn't close, tv channels were minimal, the mattress was on a metal pedestal, and made clanking noises with every move. The 8.3 rating is clearly false.
- Jose A (10/5): Great stay - Our stay was pleasant no complaints.
- Belinda (10/5): - No comment at this time.
- Kim (2/5): - I would love an email to send pictures of the room I was in. There was no hot water. The smoke alarm was on the dresser. Mold around the shower if we could have taken a shower we wouldn’t have. The floor was disgusting when walking from front door to the bed. I fully expect a refund on this room.
- Stephen (8/5): - had to wait 15 minutes for check in clerk. and 10 minutes to check out. stay and room were very good
- Joyce (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ponzio (4/5): Disappointing -
- Theron (10/5): - No hot water
- Melinda (5/5): do able - reserved a king bed, he booked us with 2 double beds
- LEONARD (10/5): - Had a good night's sleep.
- Ann (2/5): - Too many bad things to mention. I will NEVER stay here again.
- TIFFANY (2/5): - It took 3 assigned rooms later to get a half decent room. This property is very outdated even with the so called re-patching they have done. The first room I was given was very filthy with nasty dirt and debris in the bathtub. The second room I was given had not been cleaned from the last guest, modelo beer cans were every where as, the third room was simply ok, there was a stain on the wall that looked like a roach. The chair was old and dusty. The cleaning lady left our room door open, for anyone to have access, luckily we had only just went to the corner store and back. This city has no good place to stay. I recommend driving to the next city for decency. The front desk guy was new, but was trying his very best, and was very nice through all of the mishaps, and so was I even though I was displeased. If I hadn't previously paid for this room, I definitely would not have suffered the many attempts to find an ok room for the night. The first night I didn't even stay there.
- Isaiah (6/5): - This hotel is a great choice if staying in Caldwell. However if they changed the shower curtains it would make a huge difference. I took my lab top to do some work but the WiFi is horrible . If they were to fix these two things it would quickly be a 4-5 star place .
- Isaiah (8/5): - There is a market with in walking distance that has all you need as far as food is concerned . An awesome Mexican restraint less than a mile away and other places to choose from for food. Very convenient location if your working in nearby towns.
- Ted (6/5): Weak WiFi but comfortable stay - The room smelled clean, the beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately the WiFi was super spotty and weak. The a/c worked great. We didn't use the TV much because it also had trouble loading channels. I was hoping there would be a blow dryer in the room but there wasn't. Overall, it was spacious & clean. We were comfortable.
- Sanijel (8/5): Very good -
- Morales (7/5): Good - Large shower The lighting
- Wendy (6/5): - Stayed one night for a wedding close by. Was clean and ready for an early check in.
- Rudy (8/5): - Good stay, cost was a value. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.
- Jose (10/5): Good choice! - Very clean
- Verified traveler (6/5): - We checked in fine, got the key, opened the door to find other people in the room. Went back to office got another room after a wait.
- Melissa (4/5): Disappointing -
- William (2/5): - I did not check in as once we arrived on property it felt very unsafe. There were people loitering around the hotel and it all looked incredibly dirty
- Charles (8/5): - .
- Anthony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sandra (6/5): The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. - No Breakfast. Location Wes close to the Venue No hair dryer or Ironing board.
- Lauren (4/5): Small town. Npt alot of options. - The door was hard to close. The refrigerator was frozen over. The tv had to be reconfigured every time it was turned off.raning if you didn't know "the trick" thete was no tv and remote wouldn't work. The staff was friendly
- Christopher (10/5): I was in town for a family reunion. I enjoyed my stay but the check out crime at 11 am is too early. I felt rushed. - The location and price. The checkout time
- Brandy (10/5): - Nice, remodeled hotel. Best I have seen in this town. However, bed is hard but will stay again.
- David (10/5): - There was a younger brother who was totally attuned to helping make my stay comfortable. His older brother was not, but the young one did go out of his way to fix things so it was a nice stay. I also found the interiors very relaxing and clean. It was next to a Grocery store and a Walmart so nice access.
- Terry (5/5): Ok but not again. - Quiet Dirty, sink wouldn't drain, locked us out of ice
room before we checked out. Had problems with
the key not working well.
- Schubert (2/5): Never again - That I was able to get a room when I needed it, and I got a few hours of sleep. It was dirty as if it hadn't been swept or mopped in ages. I couldn't walk barefoot because it felt dirty. The management was indifferent, and downright belligerent about getting me out the next morning, so "housekeeping" could "clean" the room.
- Heidi (1/5): It was a horrible experience and one of the very worst places that I have ever stayed. - There was nothing that I liked about this motel. The employee at the desk was pleasant and was responsive in trying to correct some of the issues we experienced. The facilities were relatively clean and there was new flooring, but the rest of the room and grounds needed serious work. The wi-fi was horrible. I was not able to access the internet and after the employee rebooted the router, it was only slightly better. It kept freezing. My husband was not able to complete any of his work on his laptop. We had a coffee maker but no coffee. The curtains did not block out the light that was right outside the window. The pillows were very uncomfortable. At around 10 pm a group started playing loud music and having a party. The employee asked them to stop and they did comply. It appeared that some questionable activities were going on in the second building of the hotel that was off to the side. Then, at around 7am, two men were right outside our door drinking and talking very loudly. This facility obviously attracts some undesirables. It was also way overpriced for what we received. AVOID staying here!
- Manuel (5/5): The beds were soft - low blue lights and large shower The bugs surrounding the building outdoors and indoors
- Yaohua (8/5): A great stay during Aggie events - We stayed there because we were not able to find a room in Bryan/College station during the graduate ceremony weekends. This hotel/town is 20 mins drive away from their main campus. It is quiet and clean. My husband and I got a really good night sleep over there. We will definitely consider this place next time we visit our girls on campus.
- Evan (8/5): - Very friendly staff.
- Dana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jeremy (8/5): Decent room - Overall the room was nice and clean. The room looked to be newly remodeled. Only issue with the bathroom was lack of shampoo/conditioner and no soap shelf in the shower. There were bugs in the room, but they were all dead.
- Jeremy (10/5): - Very nice room, especially for the price, lots of nice upgrades. Staff was very friendly. Grocery and department stores were within walking distance. The only noticeable improvement that may need to be made is resurfacing the parking lot. We would definitely stay there again.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Jimma (8/5): - Recently remodeled, immaculately clean. Pleasant check in at 4pm. Parking lot needs resurfacing.
- Noah (5/5): Passable - good location there were Pubic hairs on bed that were not ours we noticed this after we woke up there is no hair dryer in room
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- David (5/5): good location bad parking lot smelled like moth balls - location and staff old and smelled like moth balls in room
- Anonymous (8/5): The door to the room didn’t want to close. The deadbolt wouldn’t lock because of shifts to the building. There was a not - The property was convenient. The parking lot had quite a few pot holes. The door weather stripping was gone, not attractive, not efficient for heat / cooling or safe. It took awhile to get the cable TV working it was hooked up wrong and the internet password didn’t work.
- Gloria (8/5): Very good -
- Olivia (6/5): Disappointed, but it was for one night only. - Front of hotel looked like it was being remodeled? Breakfast was supposed to be included and when we arrived at the hotel front office door at 9 a m the door was locked and nobody to be found. Disappointed. Our room was adequate and clean.
- Dustin (4/5): - We showed up late at night to check-in, and the lobby was locked. There was a sign that said to ring the bell and also listed two phone numbers to call. After ringing the bell and realizing it did not make any noise, I figured out it was not actually connected to anything. I called the two numbers for 30 min or so before we resorted to aimlessly wandering around. At this point my buddy realized the room nearest the front lobby had a gate over the door, so we banged on the window hoping someone was in there sleeping that worked with the hotel. So eventually we got in the room, but when we only had four hours to sleep before we had to get going again, it was a pretty irritating experience.
Otherwise, shower was good. Towels were fairly gross. Weird 80s strip club glow lighting which was more amusing than anything.
- Coleman (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matt (10/5): Better than expected roadside motel - so when booking a cheap roadside motel, you are basically rolling the dice. anyone who has done this a lot knows. this one was a winner. updated and clean. the amenities were the bare minimum, you could tell they were trying to meet some outside standard as inexpensively as possible, but who cares? The room was spotless and the modern. Perfect for a quick sleep on the way to somewhere else Parking lot was rough! Again, not a big deal, but looking at it we were just hoping the room wasn't like it...
- Anonymous (8/5): would stay here again!! - refurbished rooms.
