Guest Reviews
- Leslie (5/5): - Cute little town We were bottom floor and the 2 nights we stayed the people above us were very loud late at night and early morning walking across the floor constantly. Not very sound proof. Family's that were together did not stay on the same floor and the kids were constantly knocking on the door beside us. Pool was not up and running. The reason why we booked there because of our young one.
- Gerold (9/5): -
- Marie (7/5): Overall the stay was good. - Breakfast was fine. Location good. Toilet was quite low for me as i have some mobility issues.
Could have more waste bins and glasses should be wrapped for health reasons.
- Sarah (10/5): -
- CORY (8/5): After a long drive it was easy and convenient to stay - Was quiet even though close to the highway The property was nice, nothing to complain about
- Sandy (4/5): Wasn’t what I expected - The motel main office was not clean had to dial the phone to get service. No place to hang towels. No coffee in room. Had coffee pot asked for coffee and was told to use subway coupon good for 8:30. Was leaving at 5:30
- Patrick (8/5): - Paid on line and then when I got there I had to pay again. They said booking.com dose not pay them so really paid for two nights but only stayed one.
- Matias (8/5): -
- Ranjit (1/5): -
- Gordon (1/5): got an email stating after 10pm checkin were not permitted for online booking & our dog not allowed -
- Quilt (7/5): -
- Karen (6/5): -
- Simon (9/5): thank you for a pleasant night in cache creek - nice little Hotel in Cache creek. breakfast in the subway next to the hotel, very nice Lady manages both
- Eleanor273 (6/5): Fair - A bit on the older side, tap came off in sink, bed was a bit too soft and very firm pillows.
Cleaning staff left Tim Hortons cup from previous guests
- PETER (6/5): - no coffee pot. Advertised pool was empty
- Maureen (7/5): -
- Sandra (2/5): -
- Eike (10/5): -
- Karen (5/5): - Friendly staff, location Old motel needs work!
A lot of debris lying around property,
Slechte WiFi.
- Samantha Smalleyes (1/5): - We didn’t stay because they were charging my kids each child has to pay
- Judy (4/5): - I would dearly like a refund on this property. We stayed for half an hour and decided to hit the road! No swimming pool not an immaculate room. The bathroom was clean, however but the rest of the room was not.
- Robert (6/5): - Recently renovated rooms, but lacking little things: no hooks or shelves in the bathroom so clothes had to go on the toilet seat. No shelves in the shower so soap and shampoo etc had to go on the floor (inconvenient to bend down all the time) There was also no trash bin in the bathroom.
Parking lot still needs a lot of work.
The free breakfast at the hotel was a subway sandwich next door. Their Keurig coffee maker at the subway was broken and it took the poor girl working there (by the way, this Subway worker also did the front desk at the hotel! I hope she gets paid very very well - she worked her butt off) had to sit there turning the machine on and off constantly while to get my wife a coffee. I felt bad for the other people in line for breakfast.
All in all, it was just an okay stay. Not great yet, but okay. Lots of wrinkles to work out.
Give that subway/front desk girl a raise!
- Tim (10/5): - Nice hotel, clean & affordable. The girl at the office was really friendly, even going as far as coming outside to help guide me as I squeezed my truck and trailer through their smaller, tight parking lot - Thank You!
Two things that were a negative for me:
- The room was nicely renovated, but the carpet was replaced with hard wood flooring. Not very comfortable to walk on with your shoes off, especially when you're coming out of the shower with bare feet.
- Breakfast is provided at a Subway restaurant that's on the property, but it doesn't open until 8am. Anyone traveling for work, or even tourists that want to hit the road early, miss out on the breakfast.
Other than that, this was a nice, pleasant experience and I would highly recommend! If you have a long trailer though, you may need to park close by and walk in.
- Chelsea (10/5): - My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay! The room was very clean and well put together. The only thing that I can see as a possible safety issue is going from the hallways to the bedrooms as there’s an inch lip. Tripped many times and scrapped my heel but didn’t break any skin! Would stay again!
- Dianne (10/5): -
- Garrett (10/5): - Staff were helpful and acomadative
- Eric (4/5): - The TV did not power on. Also the internet would not connect. By the time I realized this, the office was closed for the night.
- Anthony (6/5): - Room was surprisingly bigger than I expected it to be. It was however missing a few things. There was no coffee pot in the room. It could have used some better black out curtains for the early morning sun. And there was no clock in the room. Other than that was a nice stay.
- Denver (10/5): -
- Jim (8/5): - Pool was closed
no hangers
Light controls not at the bed
Breakfast was minimal (OK) but not available till 8 AM
- Esther (6/5): -
- Patrick (6/5): - .
- Tracy (2/5): Pool advertised not open. Bathroom ridiculously small, toilet seat not fastened - Breakfast at subway not anything on menu for our family
- Robert (10/5): -
- Chantal (10/5): -
- Gurinder (2/5): - In expedia show that breakfast available but not available
- Michelle (8/5): - Overall it was good. The receptionist was very friendly and the room looked newly renovated and very clean. The ac unit was temperature controlled so it would kick on and off through the night. You could hear the person above us walking around throughout the night. Disappointed that the pool wasn’t working as it didn’t show that in the add for the Inn.
- Kristina (6/5): Ok accomdation with some shortcomings - Modern and nice bathroom/washroom. Were the sheets really changed after the previous guest? Out of toilet paper and the reception closed.
- Harrum (1/5): Bad -
- Gisela (2/5): - The property was full of old garbage. The first room was so dirty and the toliet was very smelly . Second room was not much better. Floors / walls were dirty and bed/ mattress had ill fitting sheets . Furniture was old . Just disgusting .
- Sabrina (2/5): False advertising on the Internet - False advertising pool empty when it said it was full no bathtub when it said we would have one no coffee maker in the room the floor left our feet black the sheets are very old you could see through them and the stairs were weak and not safe the restaurant was subway. Booking.com showed that the hotel was good and when we got there it was a huge disappointment. We won't ever be going back.
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional -
- K2895OFtroys (4/5): Not as advertised... pay extra for children even under 9. - Upon arriving we found out the advertised pool isn't open, no gym or fitness equipment available either. Checked into our room and it wasn't fully cleaned. No Toilet paper. They gave us an industrial roll of large toilet paper (light tissue paper style) but it was for a dispenser that we couldn't open without a dispenser key. So we had to use a large roll and set it on the tub or floor. Included breakfast was Subway which doesn't open until 8 am. So if you want to get on the road before 8, you will not get the included breakfast.
- Daniel (6/5): - Overall not a bad experience. The hotel is dated but it looks like there are ongoing renovations. It was quiet and centrally located. The owners were friendly and helpful.
- Bruce (2/5): Very poor - No pool as per web. The lady at desk was nice.
- floyd (10/5): - First time would return. Comfortable bed , great shower, renovated, personable staff, all around excellent
- Ikram (9/5): Excellent experience - The Staff was very respectful and humble
- Diana (1/5): Bad -
- Kym (4/5): No comment - Nothing Nothing
- Marc (2/5): - Pool had no water in it. Rooms were supposed to be fully renovated but were not. Pillows had stains on them. Overall the property is old and run down. The breakfast included was a subway breakfast sandwhich
- Adrienne (4/5): - The power kept going off all night and they asked what I had plugged in, which was only a charger. The Subway attached closed an hour early than advertised and they helped me with dinner but expressed they were not happy about it. My kids said they didn’t want to eat there again because it felt awkward.
- Avtar (6/5): Pleasant -
- christineoE8998KY (2/5): Extremely dirty…. - We are not hard to please people first of all. Bathrooms were recently done and was advertised as a full Reno. Kitchen didn’t have cupboards a walls were super splattered from whatever was cooked. Bedding was dirty and looked slept on/stained. Couch and upholstered chairs have the greasiest dirt I’ve ever seen on the arms and need to be thrown out. Could get past all of this if the toilet didn’t have black stains in it and my pillow wasn’t so brown with drool stains I couldn’t sleep on it. We were tired so we stayed and fingers crossed no bugs! Front desk lady was lovely tho!
- Jocelyn (5/5): Cache Creek Inn - The lady at the front desk was very nice and informative. The shower in our room had great pressure. Lots of cable channels to browse. When we arrived, the room we were given had not been cleaned yet. The front desk was very quick to give us a new clean room, but it was noticeably smaller in size.
There is no coffee maker available in the rooms. We were given a coupon for complimentary coffee and breakfast at the attached Subway, however, it was not valid until 8 am. We are early risers and had to travel to the Tim Hortons for coffee and return to our room.
- KISHORE KUAMR (4/5): - Old building. Nothing more other than
- Ashok (5/5): Pricey location for no comfort and poor stay - Not a good property. The location and rooms are below average at the price. There are cheaper and better options available nearby. The room location. Cleanliness. Services. Nothing was good about the place. I’m glad I was just staying for the night.
- Middleton (7/5): Good - Updated clean rooms. The staff are super friendly too. Was advertised that pool would be open during our stay on booking.com, but when we arrived it most definitely was not open and looks like it hasn't been for a very long time.
- Milan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Paul (8/5): Very good - Newly renovated bathroom and new flooring. It was cold in the room.
- Ronald (7/5): Good - Good location . Pool not available. They were working to restore after a flood.
- Kathleen (6/5): - There, was no microwave, coffee pot or swimming pool. The room was clean and quiet.
- Utkarsh (10/5): Little cozy easy stay - Close to amenities, great mountain views, good parking, nice friendly staff, and subway breakfast included..
- Kathy (10/5): - It was ok. Lacked ammenities like coffee pot and such.
- Maxwell (4/5): - The room was recently renovated and the beds weree clean, however... there is no pool, no ice machine, the stairs are seriously dangerous and the "continental breakfast" was a breakfast sandwich and a coffee at Subway. (okay for me... but my kid doesn't drink coffee or coca-cola in the morning and when I asked for a orange juice they said no)
Not exactly what I was expecting, had I known the amenities were non existent I would've saved some money and stayed at a simpler motel in the area with the expectation that I would have to plan for breakfast, buy ice etc...
If they invested a bit more into the place it could be nice. Fix the pool!!! Offer a coffee bar? Ice machine? Fix the stairs before someone gets hurt.
- Christine (8/5): Good room ad is misleading - Room was newly refinished, new floors, bathroom etc. Room was great. Posting is misleading, post says bar, restaurant on site. The restaurant is a subway and no bar, could get a nice meal down the road but we would have preferred to just walk to a good restaurant
- Richard (10/5): - Room was just renovated. Property was still under reno. The quality of work done was excellent. Staff was friendly.
- Nigel (4/5): Disappointing - The hotel was still under refurbishment from a flood a few years ago. The inclusive breakfast was from the nearby Subway and so a bit stodgy.
- Shantelle (4/5): Disappointing -
- Laura (7/5): Good - Clean and fresh and comfortable beds. It was very newly renovated though partly finished I know it was in construction and not finished yet but there were a few things needing to be added yet. Mostly finishing touches like towel storage maybe usb charging places for phone etc.
- Sheeba (7/5): Good - Staff was very helpful and friendly There were renovations happening, so things weren't as clean as they usually are at a motel
- Lukes (9/5): Superb - We really appreciate that they turned the AC on before we got there, the beds were comfy, the room was nice, the bathroom and shower are really nice! We also appreciated the breakfast and later check out time. The ac only reaches half the room. You can't really feel it in the 2nd bed - still better than not having it, though! The curtains on the window are pretty much see-through. Black out curtains would be really great. For the light and for the heat. Other than that, it's a bit crazy in the parking lot, but we know they are renovating. I think it'll look really great when their done. Can't wait to come back and swim in the pool!
- Sarah (9/5): Superb -
- Crystal (3/5): Crap. Won't be back for this price. This is an $88 motels at best - This place is under renovation. Only the top floor is open. The room was ok. Very noisy. An alarm/compressor in the fridge kept going off. The a/c was impossible to sleep with, so loud. But the room was cool, which was nice in the 39 degree weather. The subway breakfast was a joke. There was no bread, no egg, so the kids had a old stale bun with ham and a few veg, we had the last egg on crunchy flatbread that didn't fold and tasted like an old cracker. Breakfast was horrible. Nothing was ready and they had no inventory at 830.
- Shawn (10/5): Perfect - Everything was perfect
- Robert (10/5): - A little problem on check in which was quickly resolved to our satisfaction
- Alfred (7/5): Sufficient -
- Zoe (4/5): - New renovations are simple but nice. Bathroom is nice with walk in shower but floor is super slippery even when dry. Stairs to second floor are unsafe. Limited rooms due to unfinished renovations from flood recovery.
- Rick (6/5): - My room renovations not completed.
New shower stall was dangerously slippery with no grab handle or shelf in the shower to hang on to.
- Donna (8/5): It was good. Staff was very good. -
- Vince (8/5): - All good except under construction.
- Lisa (7/5): Overpriced despite being refurbished as building work still happening. No clear indication of where to check in. Very he - It was nice to be in a newly refurbished room. Unfortunately the fridge didn’t work but we were given access to another one.
The floor was dirty.
- Alan (4/5): - In dis-repair after a major flood over one year ago; no ice; parking area cluttered with work containers and furnishings; highway work blocks entrance; many better options in town
- Ken (7/5): Good -
- Gloria (1/5): CLOSED - The property was CLOSED!! It was CLOSED!! Was flooded and doing renos! No alternate options. Had to find another hotel good thing it was a weekday and there was still a vacancy elsewhere
- Jack (3/5): When we came back from trip found an email letting us know motel was under repairs for flood damage - Location was easy to find, but from the road you had a hard time to tell it was open, it was under construction. No, breakfast or voucher for breakfast available. Shower was new, mirror over sink, just laying there loose, closing the bathroom door made it sound like it was bouncing around. No security lock on door, put chair in front of door to at least feel it was safe. Should have been completely shut down until renovated!!!!!
- Patsy (4/5): I can’t rate when they just had a flood so it was just great to have a bed to sleep in,when no rooms let in town, and it -
- Lynn (2/5): - This property was flooded out 6 weeks ago and had to close operations. I heard this from a neighboring hotel.
Hopefully I was not charged. If I was, I will be complaining.
- Karina (1/5): Bad -
- Karen (6/5): Helpful - Lady who checked us in was very nice and helpful when it cane to getting parked we were pulling a long trailer. The room was dated but clean free breakfast didn’t start till 8:30am we were in the road by 8 so that wasn’t good not sure we would stay there again
- Dorothy (4/5): - The room was very shabby, torn lampshades, flimsy curtains that didn’t block light. Walls marked up and chipped paint. Towels were dingy. No tissues, toiletries were skimpy. No proper secure door locks. An old rickety chain for safety. Overall compared to the hotel I stayed at in 100 mile for the same price it was terrible.
- dorothyrichmond49 (4/5): Disappointed. Could have gotten much better value. Would not recommend. - It's very shabby and poorly kept. Very strong odor of freshener. The walls are marked up,stains on the ceiling. Lampshades ripped. Towels are dingy. The TV didn't work properly. I stayed at Super8 in 100 mile for the same price and I gave them an excellent review.
- Donald (7/5): Good -
- Linda (2/5): Very poor - Location Door didn't lock from the inside. Floor was cold.
- Michelle (2/5): It was cold and uncomfortable - New beds and bedding, the bed was very uncomfortable and the bedding old and ragged
- Karen (5/5): Smells awful :( - I was disgusted by the unrelenting smell of "subway" the entire night. Who one earth puts a guest room above a fast food place? So gross I'd never go back The smell of subway overwhelming my room the entire stay was disgusting
- Darrell (4/5): Disappointing - Quiet Coffee but no coffee machine, Styrofoam cups, no dead bolt on the doors, unfinished bathroom, cheap towels, no hair dryer, toiletries were low quality, no extra bedding.
- bhavneetb2022 (10/5): Great place to stay with less money - Great, room was very clean, AC was working, Food was good. This is a place I would recommend staying. The bed was comfortable. Almost all of the hotels were full so we stayed here. Stayed 2 nights so got a good experience.
- Philip (2/5): DONT STAY HERE! FIND SOMEPLACE ELSE, OR SLEEP IN YOUR CAR! - We’ll just say the place has a gym (of sorts), a splash pool and the breakfast is supplied via Subway (same owner), it is quiet, but run down I booked this place on the basis of ratings from Booking.com! I don’t know how this place could be given 4 🧿 on your site! It’s in URGENT need of large scale renovations and updates. The door hardly closed, the furniture was dilapidated, windows dirty, the ensuite ceiling had been repaired but not finished…. The list goes on,,,, and on!
To cap it off, the price was way, way above what the room was worth!
