• ReGina (7/5): U win Dexter Inn!!! Thank you - I really liked the front desk ladies . They were polite . And it was a nice clean peaceful (!which I needed super badly. I enjoyed the hot bath the beautiful mirrors in the morning room . I'll be back and it make my 3 rd time visiting here Thank u to everyone here . No Bible in the drawer needed more towels but it was well worth it

• Jeremy (10/5): - I’ve been here the past 3 nights I’ve always felt safe, room was clean, beds were clean. The owners each night let me have outside access due to me traveling by bicycle. I have no complaints, the staff actually went out of their way to help me.

• Amber (2/5): Terrible - First the room we get into the microwave doesn’t work. The 2nd night there we got moved to another room. That room was ok but in neither room did we have hot water. The breakfast was terrible. Only choice in food is waffles, chocolate donuts and cereal. They had no hot water in there either so anyone wanting coffee had to have cold and heat in that microwave. Also we get there and they have a sign up pool closed for season. It didn’t mention that online when I reserved it. I would Not recommend going to this hotel

• Triston (4/5): Dexter inn - Just a ratty little place found cockroaches in the parking lot alot of damaged drywall. Beds were mediocre at best blackest felt like window curtains. Only thing good was the pool water was clean and their was hot water

There were signs posted that said no smoking of any kind but there was a strong pot smell down the hall. The air was off in our room when we got to it. Nothing like walking into a room that is 80 degrees. The floor in the bathroom was dusty. Stains on bedding. Breakfast was not appealing.

Was provided a roll away bed with extra charges but sank in the middle pulled back the mattress and there was a big hole where springs were broken. Floors has dirt and somebodies medication on the floor of the bathroom.

There were all sorts of outlets on the desk for your tech. The fridge was smaller than most other places I have stayed in. It worked but the freezer wasn't big enough for my ice packs (I had a few!)

We had a friend get bit 3 times by a spider that I am assuming was in her bed because she woke up with them. There is a weed shop right next door and when we came back from dinner the hole place smelled like it.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Nasty, shady, outdated, gross - Hotel was very old and outdated. Everything stank of old cigarette smoke and age. The hallways were halfway painted. Black mold in the bathroom, lamp was broken and top light didn't work. Beds were about the size of a twin bed and a half. Looks almost like the downstairs is extended stay, apartment, type rooms, while the 2nd floor serves as the "hotel" part of the building. The only plus was the front desk woman was was friendly. I will never book this place again. I understand its a local hotel, but for $96/ night... never again. Pay the extra $20-$30 per night and get a chain hotel.

• Glen (10/5): - The staff at Dexter Inn is very pleasant my room every evening when I come back was cleaned and made up the floor was taken care of fresh towels, and the smell was wonderful around the whole hotel. I definitely recommend if you’re traveling this is a place to stop.

The refrigerator though worked surprisingly well. It actually got and stayed cold. The lighting in the bathroom area around the mirror wasn't adequate enough.

Somethings were updated but some things still need updating. It was fine for one night. On checkout morning the front desk called before checkout time to ask if we were extending our stay or leaving. I have never been called by the front desk and asked this question before. I could understand if it was really close to checkout time but it wasn’t.

Everything would shut off. Towels had stains.. Refrigerators wouldn’t work. Let just say I’m so happy I didn’t have a blue light.! My room smelled like a dirty ashtray. I can camp for days on end.. but there’s a difference between dirt and filth.!!

We left and went to the Travel Lodge. My brother dented a room also my sister in law said there was hair on their shower wall to. Pulled out a chair to sit on and there were only 3 wheels on it.

• James (7/5): Good, basic stay. - We have stayed here several times. This is a basic room. What we do like is that each time, the room is better than the last time. They have continually strived to be better. A better ADA bathroom would be nice, shower instead of tub, but we understand that’s expensive. The shower head, chair and adaptations let us know they are trying and they are helpful.
