• Donna L (10/5): - This was a studio apt with a murphy bed, full kitchen. Property is on the beach and provide chairs on the beach. Soft sand, but as expected the ocean here is pretty chilly even on Sept 1st. The management let us checkin early and were very accomodating. Also there is a nice, heated indoor pool with towels provided.

• Shirley (6/5): We set our expectations too high - Disappointed. We reserved a room for 4 people. We were on the first floor without an ocean view. The ceiling was very stained. And not sound proof...we could hear the people upstairs running around for a while late at night. A double sized futon served as the second double bed. A Murphy bed as the other. The sheets were sandy. We visited the pool which was across the street. There was some muddy looking piles around the indoor pool. Bathroom tiny. Walk to pier was a little over a mile. Paid $340 for one night.

• Brittany (8/5): - It was great overall. We liked that they had beach chairs for guests to use, and the location was right on the beach. We were worried about the Murphy beds, but they were fine. The door to your room is a sliding one, and they are kind of hard to open. Also, I’m glad my mom brought shampoo, conditioner, lotion and etc, because they only have the little thing of conditioning shampoo and two little bars of soap in the room.

• Paige (6/5): - I appreciate the staff staying late to check us in after 9pm. I didn't know we had to unload in one place and park the car in the other which was okay. The room itself was very warn and dated. There were spider webs everywhere and piles of dead ants. A few of the cabinet doors were falling off. The bathroom walls looked like they had black mold at one time. We could also hear every move the upstairs guests made and they were constantly moving the furniture which is understandable to some degree as the murphy bed and futon made it hard to move about the room. It's great for the beach access but I wouldn't stay here again.

• Tawnya (6/5): Our stay at Oceanwalk - We stayed overnight during the off season on a very cold and windy day. The check in was good. Quick and very easy! They even allowed us into our bottom floor room early. But we had an issue. The room was full of ants. I went back to the office (btw, the office, pool AND parking are across the street from the rooms) and told them. They offered an upstairs room as they felt it was less likely to have ants. We took it and it was clean. No Ants!! Then we noticed yard maintenance spraying for ants outside so I feel as if they were addressing the problem. I was also a bit shocked when our small full sized bed was pulled out from the wall but it was doable. The location to the beach is very good!!

• Janice (10/5): - I wanted to be ON the beach. We were on the street on the ocean side, and our unit was maybe 30 feet away from the sand. It was clean, easy free parking, a pool in the event it was too cold or raining. After check-out, the day was another beautiful day and I asked if I could stay parked in their lot and use their beach chairs and was told absolutely it's the best part of the day right now. After check-out, which was at 10 a.m. I stayed until after 1 p.m. The only reason I didn't stay longer was the long ride home to NH.
• Maureen (4/5): - When I booked a “studio double“ I did not expect a teeny tiny room where you literally pull your bed out of the wall. The Murphy bed was a double size. Like an oversized twin. The fact that it was on a frame that you had pulled from the wall, gives you an idea how comfortable it was. 😩 You had to Scooch around it to get to the other side of the room. We both got our toes several times on the pulldown legs. On the plus side, there was a coffee maker

• Rheal (4/5): - This property requires some up dates and improvements. The parking lot is on the other side of the street far from the room. It was very much difficult to unlock/lock the patio door due to too much wear. The property is old and it shows all over but everything else was functioning OK. This location is OK for beach lovers. The inside pool area is OK. The asking price is too high for this location.
• norman (2/5): Unbelievable - False advertising room not even close to the picture on the website!! Unbelievable!! Was like a big closet with a bed that you pull off the wall!! Hit my foot on the bed every day! There should be some kind of a law about how the website shows the room and how the room really looks! They will never see me again!!
• Ruth (8/5): - At first I was shocked at having a Murphy bed in the room then got used to it! Being right on the beach is the biggest asset! People are from all over and are fun to interact with! The warm swimming pool was so comforting after being on the cool windy beach! Families seem to love this place! Grilling was helpful last night —even sat at a nice table to eat outdoors. Fun town to explore!

It was awesome to just roll out of bed in the morning and walk less than 25 steps and be at the beautiful ocean. The lounge chairs were amazing, the staff was friendly and helpful, having the kitchen was great. Loved my stay and can’t wait to visit again!
• Lindsay (10/5): - Wow! I loved staying here in my cute little studio style room which was like 12-15 steps from the beach! I had a Murphy bed that came out of the wall and it was cozy. I had a kitchen though it’s hard to turn down the nearby restaurants and snack stops. It’s a little over a mile to the pier but I live walking and it was an enjoyable walk whether by sidewalk or beach. The property is clean and well kept and they have lounge chairs for their guests on the beach! The staff was always friendly and helpful. I would totally stay here again!

• Robert (10/5): - Right on the beach. Pretty clean rooms, very cozy, but the real draw is obviously being feet from the sand. Stayed here many times and will many more. They made accommodations for a later checkout time (only asked for 45 min) which was nice and let me keep my car parked for the rest of the afternoon.

• Kristine (8/5): - Super cute efficient type room. Great space saving concept with a in the wall type bed but a double bed option was a bit small for two adults. Odd placement for TV as the wall hid viewing access if trying to watch in bed. Clean. Good water pressure. Parking was across the street and the buildings faced each other vertically missing out on ocean view vs. having all rooms horizontally. Property did have easy beach front access and you could hear the ocean. Door lock was easily jammed making it difficult to get in and we suggested a new lock to the staff. Would also suggest a new Mattress in suite 327 as it was pretty lumpy and worn.
• Marlene (8/5): - I did not know I would be sleeping on a murphy pull out bed. That information should be made known. The area was nice, and the bed turned out okay. The wall bed had sharp metal corners that could be a problem.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Wonderful beach access - Loved having such wonderful access to the beach. The room was a little strange with the murphy bed. THe lighting was marginal in practice. Also enjoyed not being in the thick of Old Orchard Beach town but definitely close by.

• Daniel (8/5): Good Outweighs the Bad - Very good price. Nice, safe location. Beautiful views, and easy access to the ocean. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The bad: The bed pulls out from the wall, making getting around it difficult. The tv is located on the same side of the wall as the head of the bed. Meaning you have to lay with your head at the foot of the bed to see the tv. Lastly, the bed folds out such that the head of the bed is about a foot from the wall, making sitting up in bed impossible. Still, when all is said and done, I made the best of it, and would stay there again.

I also liked that it was away from all the crowds. We will definitely be back and I would definitely stay here again.
• William T (8/5): Beachfront Stay - We enjoyed our stay steps from the beach. A good value for the money but it could use some upgrading. The couch/futon needs to go, the mattress was comfortable, the toilet sang to you after every flush (loudly) but overall a nice place to stay very close to beach. The staff were awesome and very accommodating and housekeeping staff super efficient and friendly.

However that being said, the bathroom was renovated as well as the kitchen. Murphy beds weren’t bad. The beach chairs were disgusting. I saw complaints about rats running around and luckily we did not see any. The hotel room was very clean.

• Daniel (8/5): Compact Waterfront Wonder - Nice beach front property, clean, compact, with office and parking across the street. Only two complaints: shower/tub was slow draining and Murphy type bed that pulls down from the wall leaves a space gap in which bed pillows can easily slip down into.

• Jillian (8/5): - We checked in after 9:00 and they waited for our arrival which was nice. The hotel is right on the beach so it was great for the price. The only downfall was although there is no smoking in the rooms, there are ashtrays on the tables outside all of the rooms promoting smoking in the covered porch that leads to each room. There was a group of smokers at the very end on the beach side of the porch on the second floor, and the wind brought the smoke the length of the porch. We couldn’t keep the sliding door open to enjoy the sound of the waves because of the smoke fest happening at the end of the porch. The place is clean and great to have the little kitchenette.

• Yaritza (10/5): - This property was great it has Murphy beds which I have never seen my life before but they are very comfortable, the hotel room was clean and the staff was super nice. One of the issues that we did have however was with the drawers in the room. On our first night there as we're putting our stuff away our clothes in the drawer and we pull out the top drawer, in it falls off its track and gets stuck. We were there three days and for those three days that drawer was open like that. But for the most part everything else was great.
