• Cassandra (8/5): - I think that if you stay in the middle location, it is probably best. We were at the “first” resort area which is really far from the outdoor pool, grille, and cafe. It is inconvenient getting in and out of the car for these options… I don’t understand why there isn’t a walk path between all three areas. If I had known, I would have said something. The activities are a perk, but make sure you enroll way ahead of time as they fill up. The cafe by the grille was delicious and the staff were great. The room itself was nice and spacious, although entering the bottom loft, from the entrance all the way down the staircase to the loft entrance, stinks! Not sure what the smell is but it is not pleasant.

• Linh (10/5): - We had the pleasure of working with Emily, the front desk/reservation department. She was so hospitable and supportive. We got a room thinking our view out towards the lake was gonna be perfect but unfortunately a tree fell and blocked our view. I left a message to reservation and Emily left a voicemail and got us a new room with perfect view of the lake. Communicative, responsive, and professional. We couldn’t thank her enough. I would like to thank the housekeeping staff also, for helping get our room cleaned and ready on time!
• Lori (6/5): The unit was dirty. Needs furniture upgrades. For $700/night this place is not worth it. We were disappointed as we - Good location The 19A unit was dirty. Floors were dirty, flies in the unit, cupboards didnt close all the way, the water/ice maker on outside of fridge kept leaking on the floor. Carpets are dirty with stains on furniture and furniture is banged up and tired. Muddy footprints as soon as we opened the door. Would’ve asked to be moved but all units were full. Had to ask for a spatula which was dropped off later. Michelle at the front desk is not friendly…patronizing, short, and acts as though you are wasting her time. Overheard her tell a family that there wasn’t breakfast that morning even though it’s advertised as serving breakfast. She was extremely rude to this family. She needs some customer service training!! So disappointed in this stay. Will likely not return or recommend. So expensive for what you get. I’d actually like some compensation for the dirty unit.

Ribeye steaks (2 stars) were ok in person at the Bluefin Grille, pickup a local cut of steak and grill it yourself on the grills at the property! Everything else about the property was great. Very cozy. Will be returning to the Surfside location in the future!

We had 4 porches/decks with chairs to relax in. Space for computer work, space to rest, cook, stretch out, dine, breakfast seating too, easy, quiet. Plenty of parking, and the grounds were nice. We had everything we would need to cook if had chosen to. *next trip, we will stay longer, cook in and enjoy the decks more!
• Destin (10/5): North Shore Birthday Trip - I absolutely loved this resort and I cannot wait to visit again. I wasn't able to make it there my first booked night due to weather and they were kind enough to not charge me for that night. The room had tons of natural light and gorgeous views of Lake Superior. The lady that was working at the Guest Services desk was very kind and gave good tips on the sights to see in the area. The location was great - lots of good hiking trails and waterfalls nearby. The food and service at the Bluefin Grille were also excellent. This place is a nice slice of paradise on the North Shore!
