The smokers had a table outside our door to smoke and there was trash and butts everywhere. I wouldn’t stay there again. The Hiltons are great for dog owners.
- Lynn (6/5): - When we checked in and went to our room, the bed was unmade and the room hadn't been cleaned. We were told that the housekeeper had walked out on them and they didn't know the room hadn't been prepared. Someone came and prepped the room while we waited.

- JoAnne (10/5): - This is an older property- but everything was super clean. The pool was crystal clear. The staff very friendly and helpful. We traveled with our 2 large dogs. They have rooms set aside for those traveling with pets. We were not disappointed - our room was clean and comfortable. Laminate flooring, No carpet which made dealing with the dogs so much easier. There was a very nice field adjacent to the Lodge that is owned by them to let the dogs run and enjoy the river and/or get their wiggles out. : )

- Sadia (10/5): Excellent beds, courteous staff, good size rooms. - My boyfriend and I, along with my dog, stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in May and were very pleased with the lodge staff curtious behavior and in particular comfortable beds. There is a huge green area as part of the lodge so walking and exercising the good was really easy. Would recommend this hotel for sure. There are many several places to eat and drink nearby, but keep in mind many places close a bit on the early side IMO, such as by 8 or 9 pm.

- Susan (4/5): - The check in clerk was one of the nicest and most helpful people I’ve ever received service from. My room, however, was very rundown. There were scratches and marks all over the door. It needed desperately to be painted. The continental breakfast selection was meager, There was no decaf coffee, and no juice. There were pre-packaged patties and op tarts. At least there was instant oatmeal, fresh fruit and donut holes. There was no yogurt.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Dirty room, horrible wifi, no help after 10pm - Stayed there more than once and both times floor were dirty, with visible dirt on floor and sticky and sheets had stains on them. When asked to change sheet the next day, housekeepers were unwilling to do so telling me they don't get paid enough. On top of that, they have very horrible wifi, barely any cell signals, we cannot make any phone calls without steady wifi. So one night i was locked out of the room, i had no cell signals, and the office is completely closed with no one to even answer the phone...it was very frustrating and dangerous, i was out by myself around midnight, cold and could get back in. i don't know any motel or hotel that has no clerk working since 10pm at night until the next morning. It was cold outside and luckily we found a keycard that works in my car and were able to get back in. No wifi either after 10 or 11pm... it's quite ridiculous and dangerous when their hotel phone line doesn't even work. If any emergency, there's no way anyone can get help... office close, no one to answer phone, no cell signal, phone line to call out is not working... its not safe, you cannot get help if your key doesn't wirk or got locked out... Oh, they advertised there free breakfast, not true, half the time office not even open until 9 or 10am.

- Susan (4/5): - Wasn't crazy about this hotel. Our sink in our room was stopped up and on day two of our stay i went to use our bathroom and it started coming up in our sink. Floode our room so we had to grab our stuff and move to another room. The person at the front desk said we would be compensated for our trouble but when we went to check out the next day the man at the front desk said he could not help with that and to call back later to speak with management. When I called back i still was unable to speak with management. Sent email to hotel with still no response. I definitely will not be staying there again. Poor customer service at its best

- Verified traveler (10/5): Close to SMNP - Basic, but clean. We spent 2 nights here as part of a longer trip. Our first real visit to Cherokee (drove through before). Not much to do here unless you like the casinos. We were supposed to attend a concert at Harrahs, but it was cancelled too late to get a refund on the room, so we went anyway. This is very close to the Smokey Mountains National Park and about an hour from Gatlinburg, so it might be a reasonable base for some. Breakfast was minimal - fruit, packaged treats, and trail bars - but we knew that beforehand. Our room was on the third floor and we were pleasantly surprised by the ramp access!

Explained we had pet. Then billed 30.00 pet fee. Told we would then get pet friendly room. Went to room and it had not been cleaned. Went from early checking at 2:00 to room finally ready at 4:00.

- Racy Mare (2/5): - I reserved 3 rooms and ask for atleast one room for an early check in because our 83 yr old grandma is coming and my niece who’s 6mos old. When we got there my husband was walking outside because our dad’s car got left behind and we want to make sure that he won’t pass by the hotel. A guy yeld at my husband asking if he need some help and my husband replied that we are checking in. The clerk then yeld again saying that check in is not until 3pm, which of course we knew about but I got a confirmation from the hotel before hand that it’s fine to have an early check in. It turns out, the guy who’s yelling at my husband was also the front desk clerk. He said he’ll see what he can do. He did help us check in early. Which is good. I helped my family settle in their rooms and I left to check in to the great smokies just right on the other side of the street. Early morning I got a phone call from my mom and sister that my sister’s room 308 have bedbugs and my bro in law got bitten. He found the bedbugs in the room took a picture and killed it. We then showed the pictures to the guy who’s again at the front desk. Then he paused when we showed him the pictures and changed his attitud to being so nice and helpful. He also got us a refund for that one room with bedbugs. I will never stay in this hotel ever again. You should not be yelling to your guests. You should be nice even on your bad days. Customer service is so bad. Until something happened then they’re nice to you. Disappointed
- Janice (2/5): Unhappy - No where in the booking process did I find anywhere to include a pet. The hotel would not honor our reservation because the room was not “pet friendly”. They did put us up for 1 night in a pet friendly room (that was discussing) but the first thing I had to do was find another hotel to stay in for the remaining 3 nights of our vacation. The hotel would not refund the other 3 nights and your virtual agent tells me we were not eligible for refund. We didn’t cancel the reservation. The hotel cancelled us and I feel we are owed a refund by either hotel.com or the hotel
