Guest Reviews
- Gayle (8/5): Arrowmont Cabin - The horses We needed to open the windows and they didn't allow us to open them for fresh air in the cabin.
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (7/5): Good - N A Cabin had electric heaters that smelled ba and gas fireplace that smells
- Keldon (10/5): Great Stay for Wedding - Cabin was great the heaters were hard to manage (we’re from Florida so it’s on us!) but everything else was fine. The fan in the bathroom rattles a good bit but other than that it was clean and comfy.
- Kirk (10/5): Quiet get away. - Quiet. Very rural. Nature. Farm, horses, sheep and goats. Wildlife. Peaceful and relaxing. Seems isolated yet not far from town but far enough. Take a horse back tour while you're there. I couldn't stay longer.
- Elizabeth (9/5): Superb - Very quiet, cool, marvelous mt. top trees, beautiful horses came to graze around room. So serene! Rockers on front nice. We used What’s App to communicate when one of us was in Sylvia as no cell phone use on mt. top. Eric, stable manager was great, and very helpful. Front gate needs to have gate stop repaired to hold open gate while you drive through. Step down from bedroom to kitchen a little high so a second step would help for 80 yr olds. One comfortable chair or cushion on dining room chair for longer hours of reading at night. Provide 2 coffee mugs for use in microwave please!
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful remote property with many beautiful trails. Kind and friendly staff.
- Martha (10/5): it's a perfect place for us! - everything!! it was perfect!! not a thing! loved it all!
- Irina (10/5): Perfect accommodations for a long weekend. - I wanted a solo weekend away to relax. I got to start off my stay with a horseback trail ride. The room was perfectly secluded. I was pleasantly surprised by availability of wifi. The staff were so nice! They provided lots of information about the farm and activities nearby. The gravel road to the cabin made me a bit nervous, especially after the rain. However, I didn't have any problems getting around in a Honda Fit.
- Craig (10/5): A beautiful, peaceful experience. - If you’re looking for a clean, no frills place to stay within a truly beautiful area, I encourage you to stay here. This place is peaceful and well-tended. The sky at night when clear is miraculously depicted against the backdrop here. I only wish that I had more time to explore.
- Lillie (8/5): The mountain experience 🙂 - I loved the area and the peace that the cabin rendered. My first camping experience. And it was grand. I will be doing it again. No connection on my phone. The dead spot. No cell towers. Until you got to the bottom of the mountain
- John (9/5): Fun adventure if you are looking for a rustic mountain experience. - Beautiful farm land with the horses. The horse lesson was fantastic. I made a camp fire for the evening and we sat outside. Ceilings are low in the cabin, so tall people feel like they need to bend down were the two rooms meet. It is a rustic cabin so it was part of the experience after all
- David (10/5): quiet cabin getaway - Great rustic cabin for a few days peace and quiet in the mountains. Wireless connection for when you need it, and kitchen for making meals.
- Daryl (10/5): Cozy - I enjoyed the country mountain setting. The evening and morning views were spectacular especially sipping coffee on the front porch in the crisp mountain air. There was wifi and tv that enabled my Programming and connectivety so i could stay in contact with outlanding family. The sleeping conditions were so comfy with lots of warm covers and electrical outlets near by for charging my cell phone, and plugging in a separate fan. I really enjoyed my stay. It was warm, cozy, and peaceful. The dirt road up to the cabin was always clean and clear of any tree debris and not too steep so that any car could easily traverse. Would definitely recommend!
- Ann (10/5): - It was rustic and amazing
- Joann (6/5): Hidden Away - Nancy did a great job updating me on the location and answering my questions about amenities. This property is a top the mountain and took me 20 minutes to drive the continuous switchback paved road to the top.Once on property, the road to the small room would be tough for low lying cars. There was the smell of mildew once I opened the door that disappointed me. The bed was comfortable and the bath/shower area was nice. The arrival in the evening of the horses and goats that roam the property was magical. Not much to do on the property unless you ride. The location is too remote and a tad too far away from Sylva for me.
- Marion (10/5): Beautiful retreat - The accommodations were better than "a home away from home". The owners are very courteous and attentive. The scenery is gorgeous and the location is removed from the distractions associated with the urban scene (noise and hustle).
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This was a unique and quiet place to stay in the beautiful mountains surrounded by forest.
- Peter (8/5): Top of the mountain - Arrowmont is literally at the top of the mountain; great location unless there is ten to twelve inches of snow on the ground. Once it melts, it's great again.
- Suzanne (10/5): Loved the Adventure!!! - Rustic cabin but in good shape and with heaters that worked. The road is a bit rough but
- Richard (10/5): - If you like county, quite, and rural this is the place for you. Very interesting place. Lots of fun stuff near by
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Loved it! Rustic and remote, but clean and comfortable. Loved the trail ride!
- Billy Joe (4/5): Great view is about it - Older cabin, small kitchen, awful smell downstairs in the cabin. The stay at the cabin was not worth the price that we paid. Also booked through Hotels.com at one price and when checking out the owners charged us a different rate. I will not ever go back and would not recommend to any of my family or friends.
