- Gabriel (9/5): -
- Rozilynne (10/5): Very comfortable - The owners are very sweet
- Timothy (8/5): - I didn't know there was a breakfast Only charging a deposit for a pet vs charging.
- Theodore (7/5): -
- marc (7/5): - Totally adequate for a one night stay on a solo road trip. Not a luxury resort. Just a simple motel in a very small town. Good for the price.
- Smith (10/5): - Good presentation. Ample choices,
- julia (9/5): -
- Dakota (7/5): - Great deal safe atmosphere as well
- Andrew (7/5): -
- Justin (6/5): Nice place to stop and rest. - Good location, staff and was quiet. Breakfast was good. Bathroom was updated. Check in and out was very quick. Heater did not work in the room, there were more stains on the floor than i liked.
- Jennifer (3/5): - Rooms weren't clean
- Nehaluddin (9/5): -
- Jeffery (6/5): If the need arises I'll be back - The construction that was occurring down the hall and in the room above me early in the morning was not pleasant. Otherwise, my stay was benefited by the choice of motel during my stay in the Mt. Shasta area
- Lars (5/5): - Breakfast was fine, though it would have suited us had it been available a little earlier.
Have not stayed here before, it is right on the freeway and therefore quite noisy. The rooms on the other side of the building might be quieter. So if you stay here try asking for an even room number. It is cheap and therefore cheap.
- Harry (1/5): Wife says I can never pick out the hotel again - Close to fwy. Had Fox News Breakfast was lousy. Went to McDonalds to eat. Very dirty
- Karee (6/5): Over all it was okay. - Had a place to eat. Bed was hard.
- Joseph (8/5): A quick overnight stay and it worked for my needs -
- Jon (7/5): Good accommodations, good staff, good night sleep! - I was on the road and didn’t eat breakfast.
- Brooks (8/5): Would stay again for the value and decent breakfast - Was very easy to find and was cozy The housekeeping could be better
- Burns (8/5): -
- IDEAL to Heal (7/5): We had a nice stay - It was close to my Shasta It wasn’t my style but the people were nice
- Darrin (5/5): Decent budget place, but don't expect much. - Breakfast was better than most continental breakfasts. Not very clean, and the room was freezing cold when we checked in. Took a while to warm up.
- Fermín García (10/5): -
- Doug (3/5): Spend the extra money and stay elsewhere. - Continental breakfast was fine Owners need to invest in property. Much damage to room with poor repair work. Stained carpet and sheets, not sues if even washed.Felt dirty overall, back of property was sketchy and this was where we were told to park when the front was safer.
- Mariah (7/5): -
- Alexis (6/5): A little outdated - Clean room comfortable beds, early check-in compared to other hotels in area Tiny bathroom, the room itself a little outdated for the price. The room we were in had a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee machine but only one appliance can be plugged in at a time
- Crystal (9/5): - Everything was great Bed was so hard and pillows were so flat
- Aleta (8/5): -
- Vadim (3/5): -
- Narong (10/5): -
- James (5/5): Being a retired trucker I could have dealt with it but, wasn’t a great experience for my wife. - Close to the highway, bedding was clean;had a nice tv. Bathroom. Some of the worst caulking job I’ve ever had seen. Especially with the tub. The outlet covers on the wall were filthy as well.
- אסתי (1/5): -
- Kelly (7/5): A good basic room for a travel stop - Location great
Needs juice at breakfast
Inexpensive, decent motel.
Half price of the corporate places
We will stay again Needs juice at breakfast
- russell (8/5): -
- Darlene (7/5): It served the purpose and was less than $100 - The bed was clean and very comfortable. Room walls and ceiling by air conditioner unit were very discolored and had cobwebs. The tub near the door on the floor was dirty. We had to go to the office to get a hair dryer.
- Robert (8/5): The Sis Q Inn is a fine stopover in the budget price range. - Right off I-5, with nearby fast food. Shower has Excellent water pressure. The bed was a little uncomfortable - the Inn could use some updating and I would start with the mattresses.
- Hans (7/5): Enjoyed our stay. Would stay there again - The owner was very cordial. She provided us with a very quiet room as we had requested. She had fresh picked delicious apricots for us at the check in desk.
Great location near hwy 5 also not far from a historic brewery. Motel showed signs o a decaying era of old motels
- Ankit (4/5): Not worth the money - 1. Quiet room
2. Good location - near many eateries 1. They did not provide drinking water and when asked, they just said we do not have. I had to go outside to buy a bottle then.
2. The breakfast was not really good. The Milk smelled really bad.
3. Seemed really old room.
- Robert (6/5): - The motel and furniture is quite old, however it was clean. Unfortunately, the toilet did not flush properly, which caused waste to sit in there for the whole of my short stay. It’s a cheap place to stay for a night, but I wouldn’t recommend any extended stay here.
- Victor (4/5): - Just needed a few hours on a long road trip. As soon as I walked in…😬. Their staff let them down. I will say the check in staff was extremely pleasant to be serviced by. Thank you so much!🙏 She really sets an expectation for your stay.
- Starsky Rainbow (7/5): -
- Lorraine (10/5): Safe - Location and hospitality
- Robert (7/5): -
- Amundson (2/5): Gross - Everything dirty, fingernails on floor, blood Sta in ns on shower curtain, air conditioner so caked with dust barely worked
- Lauren (10/5): Pet friendly and affordable! - This place is pet friendly which is great! The shower was nice and had good water pressure and there was a big tv with cable or app options. The room could use some upgrades such as bedding and furnishings to make it more worth it but still good for the price.
- Sandra (4/5): - Bathrooms were not clean and breakfast was not as expected in comparison with other motels of comparable cost. Exterior of property was not taken care of.
- Suzanne (1/5): Sink pipe was broken water went everywhere what a mess - Plum tree Dirty
- John (8/5): -
- Roger (8/5): - Sis Q Inn seems to be a mom-and-pop owner operated older motel property. They maintain it as best as they can but carpets in the hall have stains, some electrical outlets are getting tired and don't hold plugs etc. However the rooms are kept clean, and it is a good value for the price. I will stay there again.
- Robert (10/5): - This is a family business and you can tell they love it there. The water was hot and the room was the right temperature. It is true that a little bit is older, but for the price point it was perfect.
- Samuel (3/5): - The breakfast was as expected, simple but was good. It was typical, boiled eggs, toast, danish and fruit. The coffee was not very good. The room was overpriced, the place is old and needs to be updated. Other than that, it was quiet and the shower nice and clean and looked updated. The place is very archaic and outdated with dirty looking carpet.
- Laurel (6/5): - Remote did not work properly. Carpet in the rooms were old and stained. I had two separate stays, both rooms alike. It appears that construction is going on to improve the motel.
- Reanna (6/5): - The place was okay it had a wet spot on the floor. But other then that it was alright.
- Saravanan (2/5): Pathetic place and not worth for the money paid - Proximity to highway Dirty and poorly maintained. AC wasn’t working. Refrigerator wasn’t working.
- Stephen (10/5): - For an inexpensive motel, everything works well. If you don’t need an updated chain hotel, this wil serve you well.
- michael (9/5): Would definitely recommend the Sis Q inn - Very nostalgic style motel, fresh plums growing out front(the small ones are amazingly delicious), staff was friendly, cost was affordable, large parking for Jeep wrangler with a trailer out back. Not necessarily a did not like, but a hot breakfast would have been perfect, the variety of offerings at breakfast were satisfying enough you won’t be hungry afterwards.
- Arsola (7/5): -
- Prafulla (10/5): - Cleanliness
- Nicholas (2/5): - Not very clean especially for the price
- Theourkingdom (7/5): Good -
- Cobb (10/5): We would definitely stay here again! - Staff was very friendly and helpful
- Christie (8/5): - This is an older motel. Surface cleanliness in our room was fine. Carpets in hallway, especially, and in room are very stained and dirty. Doors are filthy outside the room. A little soap and water and paint and new flooring, not carpet, would bring this place back. Breakfast was fine. Fresh plums and cherries in lobby. Plants around property are nicely maintained. Room was quiet and staff was friendly.
- Alex (6/5): Just a place to sleep - Nothing to brag about Couldn’t sign into Wi-Fi, tv was not user friendly.
- Ramsey-warner (7/5): The place is convenient, but I will start looking at other options - Breakfast choices were ok- not expecting any hot foods (eggs, sausage, etc), but another protein option would've been good. Location of the hotel? Good- it's very convenient on the route we travel The floors needed vacuuming- wasn't done at all during our stay. They need regular size toilets- the "squatty potties", as I call them, are only good for kids, not adults
- Barbara (5/5): overnight - a place to rest for the next day of travel - staff friendly & accommodating bed - hard
- Kim (5/5): Passable - Low cost, good coffee, was quiet, able to give me room with no one above us. The carpet needs to be replaced. The mattress needs replacing. There were no extra pillows. Stingy on the soap/no lotion, better to have no bedspread rather than that one.
- Christine (1/5): Bad - The worst place I have ever been in. Roaches every where, dirt smeared all over the walls, mold in the bathroom. Turn around and walked out. Can't belive booking offers this place.
- Susan (8/5): Well priced place to spend the night - The place suited my needs, just needed a clean and safe place to sleep while on a road trip. It’s older and a little run down but it was clean, safe and near some eating and gas, etc establishments. Breakfast was coffee and snacks things. They accepted my dog, altho charged me $20. I’d stay there again.
- Mary (10/5): This motel is cute, clean and comfortable. - This motel is a little retro, but cute, clean and comfy. It was also close to where I usually stop and weed California so it was very convenient. Cannot think of anything.
- Jessie (6/5): - Nice hotel, a little worn. It was an okay place to stay for the evening.
- Rebecca (6/5): Adequate for an overnight stay when one is tired and ready to stop driving. - It was just run down. Of course the photos made it look nicer than it was. The A/C was ancient and even on low the fan sounded like a train going through room. It’s right next to the freeway but luckily the A/C fan drowned out all noise.
- Joseph (4/5): - Not a pleasant stay.
- Lkhagvadolgor (2/5): - It was really dirty room.
- Harminder (6/5): - Was old building and floor was very dirty
- Rachellee (4/5): Disappointing -
- Christine (6/5): - We had family reunion at Mt Shasta so we only needed place to sleep. It was comfortable and clean. It’s a very old place but good quiet location
- Cea (1/5): Stay away! - Nothing this place is a s**y hole. They should be ashamed ashamed charging people to stay there. Every
- Gregory (8/5): - The property was very good as an older, independently-owned and ran motel.
The provided breakfast included cereal, bagels, fruit, and hard-boiled eggs -- it provided exactly what I need first thing in the morning.
A serious disadvantage is its proximity to I-5. I-5 runs less that 100 meters away from the building. Road noise is constant if you are on the I-5 side of the building. I specifically reserved a room on the far side of the building but the manager had given that room away before I checked in.
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bairley (9/5): Superb - Availability, quiet.
- Grimes (8/5): Very good - Clean & comfy. We were very pleased.
- Vijju (7/5): Good -
- ELIZABETH (10/5): Quiet and comfortable - I loved this little Inn!
It has personality, lovely grounds and great front desk friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again!
The bathroom was clean, the shower was great. It had a microwave and coffee maker, bring your own coffee though!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Sadly very old - Great front staff and pretty outside property, stunning flowers!! Then you get to the hotel, which is old and run down. The bed had a giant plastic sheet(fully understood) but sleeping on it was loud and uncomfortable. Not really clean and had I not been traveling with a dog, not sure how safe I would have felt. Lots of men around, maybe truck drivers, as lots of trucks are in the neighborhood. Just every time I went out my door, there was a man around. Not horrible, not good. Lots of others said it reminded them of a grandparent's house. NOT my grandparents! Stuff is old.
- Abdelaal (10/5): Exceptional - Best place ever. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. I love that place . Thank you for being very friendly and for your hospitality. I like it as it is . No complain
- Beth (8/5): - Beautiful gardens blooming when I was there in June
- Andrew (4/5): I would like to have some refunds - The three Little lizards as I walked into the front hallway Well, for starters the first night I sleep with a sleep app machine and the power went out at 3 AM in the morning till 7:30 AM. I didn't sleep good due to lack of electricity and when I left the room I couldn't come back inside. Also, the TV didn't work or the phone.
- Dawn Elizabeth (10/5): - Nice clean place. Needs updating, it shows its age, but room was clean and staff was nice.
- Jaisimha (6/5): Decent stay, not great. - Good location, decent room. Coffee machine but nothing to make coffee (coffee powder, sugar etc.)
Bathroom could be cleaner.
- Kelsie (4/5): - There’s old…and then there’s dirty..I can handle old. But there’s no excuse for a hotel to be this dirty. It’s just gross. Also the breakfast was a joke. Wrinkled month-old apples or unripe green bananas anyone?
- Karen (8/5): - The grounds and rooms are dated and in need of repairs which they are improving. It was clean and had a nice BBQ area. They have a small continental breakfast in the morning. It’s a good choice for overnight travel or a weekend. We had a room with three queens and a hide a bed. One queen and the hide a bed are in a separate bedroom. It was perfect for our family of six and a toddler with a fridge and a microwave.
- Xia (10/5): - Good
- Felipe (8/5): Very good -
- Wynona (5/5): Passable - I don't know if guess the view of mountain Waited in lobby for 10 minutes ringing bell finally had to call phone number..owner finally came out in bathrobe and hair in a towel..3 in the afternoon..I was shocked by that. My husband felt very uncomfortable
- David (10/5): - Older property, but real friendly staff.
- Lauren (8/5): - For a motel this place was great. Plenty of parking. Clean. Traditional style furniture which felt like Grandma's house but it was literally a cute little spot with a great view of the mountains. They also had a breakfast with lots of choices with fruit and cereal coffee and even a little Danish and some hard boiled eggs. I would definitely come back again. And the prices were good. I have four photos that I could add but for some reason the photo area is broken and it has been for over a year I've requested to be able to add photos but hotels.com does not seem to fix it via the app
- T (10/5): Tom & Mari - The entire Staff was very Nice people....plenty of Hot water, Nice A/C , Microwave & Fridge....bbq area was awesome! Nice big t.v. bathroom didn't lock, no coffee in the room for the coffee pot. Remote for t.v. did not work very good....no ice scoop.
