No me realizaron ningún tipo de descuento ni nada. Publicidad engañosa.

La suite con balcón abierto que nos asignaron es un fiasco. el balcón daba al parqueadero y la el tejado transparente de la lavandería. solicitamos cambio y no fue realizado. el ruido de la planta de climatización de la piscina nos torturo desde la mañana a la noche. el desayuno deja mucho que desear, muy pobre, la atención deficiente, no hay siquiera servilletas, salvo las que envuelven los cubiertos. el costo es muy alto por lo que recibes a cambio.

- Joseph (8/5): - Hotel Campanario De la Villa is an above-average boutique hotel just a two minute walk to the main plaza in Villa de Leyva. The property is generally well maintained and clean to experienced traveler standards. Our room (206) was nicely appointed, with a small balcony facing the very lightly trafficked street, a fireplace and lovely high ceilings throughout. The bathroom is large with natural lighting, and a large acrylic tub/shower combination. The king-size bed was pleasantly firm but compliant and all of the bed linens were in excellent shape. As the neighborhood is so quiet in the evenings - a good night's sleep is very easy to have. Why not 5-stars? Well, the property is not particularly luxurious. And the (included in our rate) breakfast was particularly disappointing in that there's little variety, and that nearly everything needed to be sent back as it was lukewarm. (I understand that early week is slow, but that's no excuse for indifferent food quality). The hotel staff were all friendly although we only spoke Spanish. As a popular tourist destination, we did observe that there always seemed to be someone with some English in the stores and restaurants, which is a pleasant surprise. My best recommendation for this property is that we liked it sufficiently enough to have already planned our return.

- Richard (10/5): Great quality stay on quiet street near city cente - We got a family room since all the area hotels were heavily booked for the holiday weekend and were pleased it was even larger and more roomy than the photos showed. The king bed was super king could sleep 5 easily with a twin bed on the first floor but two very large twins on the second floor. So we we not unhappy not being able to book a second room for our 35 year old son-it was very comfortable for him and us.It worked out well. Great location and good restaurant in heavy restaurant area only 2 blocks from Plaza Mayor. Great staff and beautiful setting. Quiet side street except for Pentacostal Church singing across the street but that was not noticeable. Son loved the pool with bar service as comfortable and conveinent-only closed early at 8PM on nights of big fiesta on the plaza.

The hotel has a lot of charm, with big rooms that are very nice decorated. Minifridge in the room. Our room had a big bathroom with shower and bathtub and good toiletries. Indoor swimmingpool and restaurant with good breakfast and possibility to sit outside. Very clean. Friendly. Recommended. Just 1 negative point, we only stayed for 1 night...

Overall a nice friendly hotel in a good location a few mins walk from the main square. Rooms are large and have some character, with nice high ceilings. Breakfast was simple but very good. Fresh fruit followed by eggs and arepas, with plenty of coffee. Staff were excellent. Only 2 problems. The safe in both rooms wasn't open and both times they took a very long time to open it. This should be checked so it is open before every visit. And second problem is that this lovely hotel is damaged by signs everywhere! It was crazy. I counted 7 signs in our room. And even more by the restaurant doors. Please please get rid of them all. Just give us a sheet of instructions when we check in if you must. But I really don't need a huge sign in my bathroom showing me how to wash my hands or telling me to do it every 4 hours! Apart from that very good. But the signs take away from the relaxed atmosphere.

- Gabylt (10/5): Nice Villa - The hotel is conveniently located 2 blocks away from the main plaza. We got a front facing room which conserved some charm from antique buildings with a closed balcony and vaulted ceiling. The room was very nice sized, the bathroom had both a shower and a tub and lots of natural light. Everything was very clean, although I could do without the shaggy rugs I feel are not as sanitary. The hotel is very spacious and well maintained and has an indoor pool and restaurant. Check-in was quick. Not so positive things to consider: -It is a bit noisy and you can hear everything happening in the inner courtyard. -Complimentary bottle of water would have been nice specially since there is a "do not drink water from the faucet" sign. -While the bed was pretty decent, pillows were TERRIBLE, I felt I was sleeping on a rock and I saw people checking-out with their own pillows, which makes me think it was not just my room.

There is no better way to experience Leyva than to use Hotel Campanairio de la Villa as your home base. Loved it. CC & LL

- katekO8986VJ (2/5): Children’s Hotel - This hotel is beautiful. However we were awoken very early in the morning to children running down the corridors screaming and yelling. This continued for hours with no intervention from the hotel. This is definitely not a place to stay If your looking for quiet stay. Great for young families as there are no guidelines for children.

When I visited the village, I was amazed, this place is wonderful In villa de Leyva there are many restaurants the different kinds, Peruvian cuisine, Spanish cuisine, Italian cuisine and not don`t forget local cuisine. My first day I visited pozos azules, in this places you can visit this place in motorcycle or horse, in the afternoon I visited the house of mud At night I stayed in the main square, where you can drink beers with other tourists and local people My second day I did archeological Tour to places near to Villa de Leyva: "El Fosil" and "El infiernito" Then I visited the hotel marques de villa de Leyva where I did a wine tour My last day I visited the Raquira village in that place you can buy handicrafts at great prices

- P (10/5): The ambiance and design of this hotel was relaxing - Great Hotel Desk service. Any time we needed something we received it right away. They open the doors for you to enter in with your vehicle to a private courtyard. The hotel interior design was unique and interesting. The beds are super comfortable and if you have a fireplace it was fun at night to have the hotel staff come and light it for you. The service in the hotel restaurant for breakfast which was included with our room price was delicious. Even though it was a limited menu; they served fresh squeeze OJ, fresh cut melons or pineapples, eggs cooked to order, bread, butter, jam and coffee. We did not get to use the pool but was clean and looked fun. A quiet location in Villa de Leyva.
- K (10/5): Beautiful Hotel in a beautiful town - We were in Villa for a wedding and absolutely loved the hotel. I was very surprised on how beautiful the hotel was. It was completely renovated, the room was large and modern and the bathroom was beautiful and super clean. The breakfast was delicious and the service was superb. The location was fantastic, walking distance to everything. The hotel had a great pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Bring comfortable shoes as the whole town is made of large stones and are very hard to walk on.

- bachelor (2/5): Good facilites with the worst service - The hotel itself is really characteristic, decorated colonially and elegantly. The location is also perfect, just 3 blocks from main plaza. However, the service is horrible. First, its swimming pool is open at 10 AM and then close at 7 PM. Are you kidding? Most of people coming to Villa de Leyva want to be relax. Such a tough Schedule makes tourists not enjoy the pool. Second, this hotel provides the worst breakfast I experienced. Just some pieces of bread, some tiny pieces of fruit, and gramble egg. That is all. It is absolutely a joke for hospitality industry. Finally, I want to have a room at the second floor, but the staff refused me. She said the rooms in the second floor are dangerous because of sudden storm. I am not sure about that. But the room in the first floor is extremely smelly and dark. I paid around $100 US dollar she gave me the worst room.
