- Marg (8/5): - There is no air conditioning. I didn't think I'd need it in early October but I was wrong. The property is a little run-down but you could tell that they were trying to keep up with the maintenance. The best part is the stellar view of the lake from your room and balcony. The full-size fridge, drip coffee maker and toaster came in handy, although our toaster only toasted on one side. The cigarette burns in the comforters were a bit off putting but the sheets were very good quality and the beds were comfortable. The night light in the bathroom blowdryer was a nice touch. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Only 2 butter knives and two wine glasses and 3 dining chairs. Also could use newer frying pans. We also noticed that the smoke alarm in room 25 needed to be replaced as it expired in 2019.

Even though it was a room, it felt like a small apartment, with everything we needed to eat simple meals. We had a great balcony which we used a lot. The pool area looked good, but we didn’t go in. We would definitely come back.
- Laszlo (4/5): - We have been staying at this property yearly for a few years. The location is excellent on the lake, the beds are comfortable, the staff is friendly. However, the property needs of some major renewal. Some effort has been made, like new washbasin in our bathroom, but not enough. The window installed AC is so noisy that we have been blessed with cool weather and did not need it. The Inn has definitely seen better days and showing it. As it stands I would be hesitant to recommend it.

Overall, did not feel welcomed because of some miscommunication in the payment process. But other than that, the atmosphere was very much worth it.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Amazing location, good price, horrible beds! - The Inn is placed right on the waterside, so the location is amazing and you can even RENT canoes from them right on the spot for a fair price. The staff are super helpful, always smiling and eager to help. But there are some big problems inside the rooms. The Beds are absolutely terrible. We had severe back pains after our 4 days of sleeping in those bad beds. They make use of Indoor portable air conditioning, so the compressor is inside the room and VERY LOUD. It added to making the night sleep horrible. Finally if you visit in the summer, don't imagine that you will have a wonderful time enjoying their massive property because the mosquitoes and horse flies will be biting hard! They have a very nice pool, and also an awesome dining area outdoor. They don't serve food but you can make your own barbeque, etc.

There were 6 of us staying - 3 adults & 3 kids & there was lots of space for us - 2 queen beds in the bedroom & a single bed plus pull out couch in the livingroom. Our 3 night stay turned into 4 nights due to car trouble & luckily our suite was available so we were able to stay the additional night. There is a full kitchen with a nice dining table & chairs, we brought groceries & snacks, which saved us money on takeout food & we could also eat healthier. All dishes, pots & pans, cutlery, etc were provided. They also have propane bbq’s for guests to use, which we did one night. The view from our balcony was of the lake & was absolutely gorgeous. The weather was perfect while we were there, lots of sunshine but low humidity. There’s a room a/c unit installed in the kitchen area which made it very comfortable. The only real downside was having only 1 bathroom when there were so many of us but we made do! Internet was a little unreliable but was not really a big deal, there was a tv but that didn’t work when the Internet was down. Since we weren’t there to watch tv it wasn’t a big inconvenience. Also, the pool closes at 8pm but we stayed about 15 minutes past 8:00 one evening, as we had gotten back from our adventures a little later that day, and nobody bothered us. Joel checked us in & helped throughout our stay with anything we needed & he was awesome! I recommend this property & we will probably look at staying again next family trip to Muskoka.

Only stayed one night and hydro was still out when we checked out. No mention from owners about hydro...no compensation for a noght in the dark!

- LORI (10/5): The second time did not disappoint. - This was a last-minute getaway. We have stayed here before in the winter and loved it. The grounds were amazing, and the lake was so refreshing to swim in. We sat by the pool but did not opt to go in. There were some very nice people there as well. Management is always very kind and friendly. I would recommend staying here any season of the year.

The sheets and towels had very noticeable stains on them. They were cleaned but the permanent stains were a turn off. Also reccomendation to turn the heat up in the morning if rooms are being rented out that day, our baseboard heaters took about 6-7 hours on a freezing day to heat the room to where we could sleep comfortably, good thing we didnt check in late before bed.
- jonathan (10/5): Amazing stay - The place was amazing. There was a great view from the balcony, there was a kitchentte in our unit for basic meal prep, and a nice clean bathroom for a hot shower. The staff treated us incredibly well and we plan to go back again next year

- Ryan (6/5): - The property is located in a very nice spot at the edge of Gull Lake, with a nice view of the lake. The area is pleasantly quiet. The staff are really friendly. However, the property isn't very clean and you need to ask for some stuff. For example, the bed sheets in our room didn't look clean, but as soon as we asked for clean ones they were supplied. The room overall could also be cleaner; for example, the walls and door and door handles had stains on them and the window blinds weren't cleaned in a while. Some kitech stuff was missing as well. There we was no tea or coffee but there were a coffeemaker and an electric kettle. Some utensils were also missing or dirty. Anyway, we had a pleasant stay given the time of year and the amount charged.

- Diana (4/5): - Review for Pinedale Inn, Gravenhurst I recently stayed at Pinedale Inn in Gravenhurst and, unfortunately, I was disappointed by the experience. My room was not up to standard for cleanliness, with lipstick marks on the towels, brown spots, dust in the corners, and a dirty fridge. The property itself feels like it could use some more upkeep. Given the condition, I would have expected the room to be priced under $100, especially in the off-season; other nearby inns offering much better cleanliness standards were priced at $69 or $79. On a positive note, the view from the property is beautiful, and I appreciated the kitchen, which is convenient if you’re staying a few days and need to cook. The balcony was also a nice feature. However, without access to a kayak or boat, there isn’t much else to do, which makes it hard to justify the cost.

- Sandy (10/5): Pleasantly surprised as this felt like an Airbnb! - We were pleasantly surprised by this property. We thought this was a motel and didn't expect much. The property was very well managed. The suite has a separate bedroom with two beds and a small kitchen and a dining table. It felt like an Airbnb. The suite was very clean. The only issue was the room was quite warm and we couldn't find a way to lower the room temperature. We had to leave the window open to let the cool air in.

- Janice (10/5): - It was such a relaxing evening looking out over the water. The beds were comfortable and cozy. There is a set of steps down to the waterfront with a nice dock to sit and relax at as well. There is also supplies in the kitchen including a coffee maker and a toaster. For an older resort that has been renovated, we loved the location and really enjoyed our stay.

- Emma (8/5): - Overall great location, and very convenient. There’s access to grocery stores and the highway nearby. The view out onto Gull Lake was also very beautiful. The suite itself was convenient, with kitchen amenities and a clean bathroom. Other areas of the room could be improved to add a bit more polish (I.e. fixing broken hooks and adding filler to holes in the wall). Overall good quality for the price.
