• Perrine (7/5): Parfait pour les backpackers à petit prix - Établissement plutôt moderne, belles chambres. À 10 minutes en grab des centres commerciaux et 15-20 à pied. Le prix vaut le coup, mais ne vous attendez pas à du luxe il y a quelques petits bémols. Le personnel est agréable. Gros bémol sur l’isolation sonore, si vous avez un sommeil léger je ne vous conseille pas, on entends tous les bruits des autres clients du même étage… c’est très difficile de dormir sans boules kiess. Le personnel ne nous a pas guider sur les sorties possibles ou endroits sympas, ils ne connaissent pas on dirait.. dommage. Enfin, une odeur très désagréable d’égout dans la salle de bain qui a embaumé notre chambre tout le séjour.

• Vione (10/5): Very recommended hotel in Manado - Everything in this hotel is exceptionally clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly, promptly fulfilling our requests. Our 8-night stay was incredibly enjoyable. They cleaned the room and bathroom daily and provided toiletries. The breakfast is amazing, with a wide variety of choices. The hotel is conveniently located near shopping centers and restaurants. Thank you so much, Genio Hotel! We will definitely stay here again in the future! Nothing. We like everything in this hotel.

• Misshwa (6/5): Budget hotel - it is budget hotel with standard facilities. I choose this hotel since i travelled solo. Good value. location not so closed to center of the city. You can walk about 10 mins to souvenier (manado) shop. The noise of noisy motorcycle could be heard from the room. Not so clean, i could see the dust on the lamps, but it was acceptable since i wa snot looking for international standard hotel (i don't need swimming pool and Gym).

• Vandie (7/5): Good - Hotel location are good, close to the locals food shops. Staffs were polite The room actually was nice and comfortable, but it was not that cleaned properly. A lot of dust on some corners, small area, and some floors. Its just like its hasn't been cleaned for some days.
• Leila (6/5): Cleanliness is terrible - We had the king bed with partial sea view on the 6th floor. Check in was flawless because they allowed us to store our luggage before 2pm. They took our luggages to the room and gave us the key when we got there late in the evening. The room is spacious with extra day bed by the big window. When we woke up in the AM and let the sun in then we spotted the dirtiness in the room. Big mirror smeared with sticky fingerprints everywhere, under the bed was extremely dusty and dirty, the mini fridge dirty, the bed cover stained and yellowish on the corners. Bathroom, half of toilet tissue roll, warm water only in the sink but no hot water in the shower. Sink was not wiped down. The second day was better, after the cleaned up the room. But still no hot water in the shower. Pros: daily housekeeping and change towels. They offer laundry and iron in bulk so it's alot cheaper. Breakfast was horrible and cold. The room division needs to check the cleanliness and readiness of the room before assign it to guests.

• wynette2023 (2/5): Bad : staff manner, service and cleanliness - We complained about the room. The floor and table were dirty, then they changed us to another room, but still the overall for cleanliness was bad. Also, We complained about the hot water to the staafs, and they responded unpolite.

Hotel are welcome with comfortable and safety atmosphere, the room hotel is clean and large, hotel staff very hospitality and polite is a good service for me and the hotel is near by downtown area. • ainymuhammad (4/5): The hotel need a good pest control - I stayed 3 nights in this hotel the first night I stayed in room 301 and the room was a lot of cockroaches, the second night I asked to move room and I was advised to move to the front room room 301 and it turned out the floor was also a lot of cockroaches, so I was advised to move to room 201 in this room no cockroaches it's just that there are lots of spouts and lots of mosquitoes. for breakfast there are not many variants and the only good thing is the yellow rice, my last breakfast heart is wet rice. please improve the service I chose to stay because there are many reviews from online travel agents who give good reviews of this hotel.

• 282andrik (8/5): Pleasant stay at Manado - Been here for short business trip from my office. I consider this hotel as a budget hotel and it is located in the heart of Manado city. The receptionist is helpful, the room and hotel service is very kind and helpful. This hotel is reachable by online transportation too and most of the driver knows about this hotel. For me personally, the room price is okay for a budget traveller. You can choose to have a breakfast here or without breakfast. The breakfast menu is not vary, but what do you expect from a 3rd star hotel, hehe. One thing i personally didnt like is the smell of the lobby room, hehe. somehow it's kind of similar with the smell of someone's sweat. Changing the room perfume might help this issue hehe.

However the rooms are need refurbishment. Sheets and towel are discolored, the wall starting to get dirty and one electric plug was not working.
• 8168lina (10/5): Cheap but nice hotel - This is my second stay in genio, there is not much change, the room is still clean and nice, the food also delicious, but the rate is cheap, except for the stair to the lobby, a little bit unconvinient if you have a lot of luggages. Make sure you got the bell boy helping with the luggage.

• Resort49797559121 (8/5): My Stay in Genio - I was visiting manado for 5 days and happened to stay at Genio. The staffs are very nice and helpful. The room is spacious (for me who travel alone), and the most important thing is the room clean!. When i come back to Manado Genio will be on my list of place to stay.
• lruby77 (4/5): Clean but poorly managed hotel - Breakfast is good with variety of tasty and hot meals. Shower n toilet is clean. Bed somehow is badly shaped with biog dent in the middle. Please quickly throw away this kind of mattress!!! It could hurt or injured back. And for some reason, in the middle of night there are couples arguing so loud?? In the morning time, children are running around and playing on the floor? Please respect and be considerate with other guests. Cannot be tolerated!

• triyanto_aldi (8/5): Clean, Comfy and the Price is Right - Located in the heart of Manado with such clean and comfy room. Typical budget hotel with a great service. Very worth with the money and the service as well. Very recommended for budget trip or just for transit.
• Xuanyi (6/5): Pillows are smelly - This is a reasonably good hotel for the price and you get the basic air conditioning, ensuite bathroom and a TV. However one thing turned me off completely - the pillows did not seem to be washed at all and had a heavy sweats smell. I could not bear the smell and had to wrap the pillow with a towel in order to mask it. Besides this, the hotel is reasonably ok and you get what you pay for. Breakfast was reasonable but not great.

• Diego (8/5): Non smoking rooms with cigarette smell - The staff was very kind. The location is not so good if you want to do things by walking. The room was OK, but even though it was a non smoking room it had a lot of cigarette smell. Asked for another room and it was the same. They just put a spray that attenuated the smell. But towels and sheets were still smelling.

I had confirmation booking but staff was unable to find my booking. after i show him my conformation, he said that my booked room is not available because someone just checked in. and they said they can give me smaller room if i want.i had no choice, it was almost 7pm. very weak wifi. breakfast is ok. will not return to this hotel again

Hotel just have indonesian style outlet which doesnt fit usa style chargers. This needs to be improved by hotel since many international guest visit them. Everything else is excellent.
