- Peter (10/5): Clean and comfortable - It’s a small Motel on the main drag of Burney, so it is what it is. Room was exceptionally clean, staff was considerate due to a late check in. Beds were very comfortable. Couldn’t ask for more in a roadside motel. Would definitely stay again.
- David (10/5): Wonderful place very very close to Burney Falls - This was absolutely an amazing little find. I definitely will stay here again if I have the opportunity to visit Burney again. From the outside it just looks like a little original vintage motel. The inside of the room was super nice and clean and it just made you feel like you were home. In addition it was quite a wonderful surprise to see the religious text available. Thank you for making my bucket list trip so enjoyable.

- Mark (10/5): Comfortable Motel near Lassen Park - It was a nice comfortable place to stay prior to going to Lassen Volcanic National Park. While not any eating amenities to speak of nearby, there is a store where you can purchase items to heat in the microwave. Staff lady was friendly.

We unfortunately had a room next to someone that never turned their TV off. It was a long night. It was clean, but if I were going to Burney Falls again I would either camp or stay in a larger city and drive up for the day. Burney has so much potential.

- Dolores (8/5): Great location and SO clean! - Perfect place to stay after driving and hiking all day at Burney Falls. It is ver convenient for those of us who aren't campers. The staff was friendly and allowed us to check-in a little early. The room looked like it had been painted recently and got new floors. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

- Caitlin (2/5): Wouldn't recommend if anything doesn't go smoothly - We had a party of 4. I looked for rooms with double beds beds in the area. All only had 1 bed availability. Mt Shasta had a double bed room available for only a little extra money, but it was also an extra 40 mi drive. If we got just 1 bed we'd need to air up an air mattress for the other pair. We agreed that was better than the drive. When we arrived at around 10pm, a nice gentleman was at the desk. He couldn't find my reservation, & called the manager. Though the room the system had for availability was already given, he put us in another. I was just glad he still had a room! We got to the room, opened it, & it had another room with another bed in it as well. Seemed like a nice surprise. Until the next morning. My husband left the door open to go grab something from the vehicle, & who we later figured out was the manager Luann popped in. The first thing she said was, "You unlocked that other door! That door was locked! Did you unlock it?" I told her no, it was open wide when we came in last night. Luann gruffly, meanly said, "Then you need to make it right & pay the difference for the 2nd room!" It was a huge $. I told her I feel like that was asking to pay for their mistake. "You have 4, you should have booked 4!" I explained to her that if a room says it only sleeps 2, you can only book 2, yet she wasn't listening. She kept insisting that I should pay the difference. If she was nicer in her approach, I may have been inclined to pay a little, yet she was really mean.

But was told that due to day we checked in our food options are limited (Sunday). But a quick phone was made to the bowling alley. The room was small, but perfect for what we needed.

Will definitely stay again in the future. Very quiet at night and next to convenient stores. I love that it had a microwave and mini refrigerator. You can also grab complimentary snacks and ice in the front office, that super sweet. Oh and the biggest perk was that they have two room available in one, if you have kids thats a big plus!

- Grace (8/5): Comfy Family Stay - 1 story motel w 1 step to get in. Convenient location near Burney Falls and Lassen. Walking distance to some restaurants and Grocery Outlet. We appreciated that our room was cool in temperature upon checking in even when it was a warm day but perhaps it was because I told them when I would check in. We stayed in the 2 bedroom (king, 2 twin beds) unit. It was fairly quiet except that you can hear the occasional shower/toilet usage from the neighbors. Clean unit. No frills, but has mini fridge and microwave. Comfortable beds.

A little dirt on the floor behind the bathroom door and an odd odor from the air conditioner when running, otherwise clean with some nice updates. A restaurant and grocery stores are very close and just a short drive to Burney Falls. Would stay again.

- Monica (10/5): Great Comfy Motel - We were in the first room closest to the street so we could hear the cars pass by. But it gets pretty quiet after midnight and even when cars did pass I slept peacefully. And I am a light sleeper so it wasn’t bad. The bathroom was huge. The kitchen a good size. I like that the bathroom and Kitchen had doors. And then all the beds in one big room. We loved it. Perfect place to stay for one night to visit Burney Falls, McCloud Falls, & Lassen National Park. Bring your own Shampoo/Conditioner & soap. We requested extra towels and they were in the room upon check in. Friendly Staff. Great Pizza Place 1min down the street.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Charging fee if using credit card - Roomy and good lighting.I’ve been charged for using credit card fee without telling me about it when checking in. This is 1st time ever being charged for using paying credit card stay in motel/hotel. Good thing is I only stayed for one night!

- Dustin (4/5): Not the small town welcome you would think:( - Power went out all morning so we couldn't see anything unless we kept the door open and then we froze bc we had no power to turn the heat on. Couldn't shower bc it was freezing in our room and management and staff didn't think it was something to be concerned about. They gave us a partial refund which was nice but I had to ask for it. I think what was so irritating is never once did anyone apologize, for the inconvenience. I just felt like they didn't care to have my business. When we checked in we weren't given anything like a Wi-Fi password even though they had Wi-Fi and reception in Burney is horrible so hard to communicate with family back home to check in. I try to hard to support these little local businesses but won't do so much anymore bc of our stay in Burney.
- Ernest (8/5): Enjoyed our stay - This is a small local motel like the ones I stayed in during my childhood vacations. As such, I really enjoyed the stay. The bed was quite comfortable. The office personnel were helpful. Loved the small frig with separate freezer in the room. We’d definitely stay there again. However if you want a fancy place, then keep on going.
- Janet (10/5): Burney Falls getaway - It was our first time to Burney Falls. This place had great reviews and a great price. Inside is dated but very clean. Only negative is the ac/heat unit is very loud when it kicks on. Plenty of places to eat nearby. We would definately stay there again.

- Laural (10/5): - It's an older, family run motel, but everything was clean, and worked well. I especially liked that they had a hiker box (which we didn't use) that hikers could take or leave food items that they needed, or didn't need.
