- Juan (10/5): - Loved the staff and location. Everything was good.
- Juan (10/5): - Amazing location. Ideal.
- Zhining (10/5): Jason and Ed are super great! Living here in mountain village is so much fun! - The property is cozy and super convenient for ski and other activities in town.
- Claudia (7/5): -
- Casey (9/5): Classic -
- Kudwitt (9/5): Perfect Location - A small breakfast is provided daily. The location is absolutely perfect for a ski trip. It is a 5-minute walk to the base of the mountain and a 15 minute walk to main street. It was very clean. Would highly recommend. The walls are a bit thin, so if you have someone loud in the room next to you it can be loud.
- Hedstrom (9/5): -
- bianca (8/5): Incredible location - The breakfast was simple but really good. The staff was super lovely. The room was really spacious. The best part was the location - a short walk from the base of the mountain and it saved me from driving there daily. There are no elevators so you'll have to carry the luggage up and down to your room. There is no temperature control in the room, you'll have to rely on whatever the main thermostat wants to do. The bathroom was tiny and the shower area had no light on it, just the main bathroom light
- John (10/5): Had a great time - Breakfast was great and very convenient. Staff were extremely friendly and informative Nothing
- Kevin (10/5): Awesome! - Location, Park, Dear, Alta, all reachable by public or private transport.
- Ashley (7/5): -
- Kristina (10/5): Would definitely come back and can recommend to family and friends - Convenient location- 5 minutes walk to the lifts. Very friendly staff. Decent pricing.
- jeffrey (10/5): - Excellent mid-century vibe! Super nice owner (Jason) and staff: Wayne, Kathleen and others! Thanks!
- Ijeoma (9/5): Superb - Really appreciated that they allow you to use showers on our last day after checking out and coming back from snowboarding.
- Justin (8/5): Great location, traditional ski lodge feel, basic comforts but good value for money - Breakfast is simple cereal, coffee and toast, the location is excellent, less than 5 mins walk up hill to ski lift and ski resort , shops, food and bars and less than 5 mins walk downhill to bus stop with 5 mins to Main Street , all buses seem to stop at our stop so very easy and completely free and regular running all day and late into night. Main Street bars , food and live music AMAZING!! To be honest as previous reviews, hotel location is excellent, value for money great, has a traditional ski lodge warm feeling but room was very cold with no heating except a heater the size of my shoe, the towels are so thin and small we asked if heating was broken and was offered extra blankets and another shoe size heater. It did the trick and we would stay again but just knowing what to expect but location and value for money great
- Erwan (9/5): Superb -
- Helmut (9/5): Superb -
- Trace (8/5): Wonderful stay that took me back in time. Would definitely stay here again for a guys trip! - The location is only a couple of minutes walk from the Park City base area. The lodge itself is a throwback! I'm not sure exactly when it was built but it screams 80's, in a good way! It was no frills but very clean and comfortable, and well worth the price. I wished they would do a little bit more with their breakfast offerings, and a hot tub would be an amazing addition. Property is obviously old but is well maintained. That said, great for a guy's trip but if I was travelling with my wife I would search out a more updated property.
- Naomi (9/5): Superb -
- Garry (8/5): They made us feel at home and really great to be so close to skiing and downtown too - Very cozy and retro feel of old time ski trips
Great staff
Nice breakfast
Great location minutes from the resort for skiing Beds were so so
Small room and bath
- Craig (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eric (9/5): Superb -
- Rebecca (9/5): Perfect location, parking available. - The Lodge is in the perfect location. Less than 5 minutes walk to the ski lifts, and 15 minutes walk into Main Street. Honestly it couldn’t have been more perfect for what we wanted. Make sure you book parking in advance. The breakfast was basic but exactly what you want before a day of skiing. The bed was really comfy. We were worried about sound insulation after reading some of the reviews but honesty we had no issues at all and manage to sleep perfectly without ear plugs. I suppose it depends how sensitive you are. Maybe I’m just used to European walls 🤣.
- Allen (8/5): Would recommend/return . Friendly staff. - Location/proximity to the resort and downtown Breakfast items on offer
- Sara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tom (8/5): Love the staffs here. They are the original owner. They are very friendly and accommodating. - Very close to the park city ski lift for the price range. Friendly staffs , and free continental breakfast Room is bit small
- Darrin (8/5): Outstanding - Distance to lifts & value.
- Nisha (10/5): Cozy oasis, close to town, hope to be back! - Hidden gem, super close to base of Park City lift, helpful staff, friendly guests, nice fire in lobby
- Yevhen (3/5): Poor -
- bianca (6/5): - Shuttle bus
- Matthew (8/5): A well-placed, clean and comfortable lodge representing good value. - Breakfast was basic and good. Overall, this is a very good execution of a basic resort in a great location at a very good value.
- Ebrahim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Saurav (9/5): Superb - Great location and has a really authentic character and super helpful staff.
Especially Jason, Wayne and Ed who were super helpful in locating my lost ring.
- Matthew (10/5): - If you are in Park City for SKIING, this is the place to be. Rustic, cheap, hundred yards from the base at Park City. Highly recommend.
- Jolie (10/5): Great rate & proximity to ski resort - Really close to mountain lifts & friendly staff Is outdated.
- Philip (10/5): Great stay close to slopes and town - Proximity and relaxing Room a little chilly
- Ilya (10/5): - Great and very client oriented manager
- A (7/5): Good. - Great location, great breakfast and fresh water. More blankets on the beds for warmth in winter, rooms can get a little stuffy, possible increase air circulation.
- Teresa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cristian (8/5): Very good - Location Old bed and breakfast- really well located
- Liam (1/5): Spend the extra money to stay somewhere else, trust me. - The price and location are the only positives about this place. Sheets and pillow cases were stained, room was dusty and moldy, bathroom was tiny. Also the walls are paper thin get ready to hear from your neighbors a lot. I woke up with what I assume are spider bites all over my arms. "Continental breakfast" is just a loaf of white bread with a toaster and 5 types of cereal. Cheapest accommodations around so what can you expect but if I were to do it again I'd definitely stay somewhere else.
- Timothy (9/5): Superb -
- Bruno (7/5): Good -
- Jonathan (10/5): - Very friendly. Extremely convenient, just a few steps from the lift.
- Thomas (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (9/5): Superb - Location was great and rooms came at a good value. Access to the mountain was practically out the back door and heading in to town was easily walkable.
- Greg (10/5): Ski! - Great hotel for ski trip. If you’re a Karen/Kevin and your ski outfit will grace instagram not the slopes, go somewhere else. This is a wonderful hotel with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms that is easy walking distance to the slopes and downtown park city. It’s run by friendly people who enhance your stay.
- Aaron (10/5): - Great location! Friendly staff!
- Thomas (8/5): Very good -
- Stephen (7/5): Good -
- Pierre (5/5): Buy yourself a portable heater for the room! - Location 5 minute walk to the lifts Room was super cold even with the small portable heater they put in the room.
- Sakshi (9/5): Wonderful stay - owners were friendly and great return on investment. -
- Thayne (10/5): - Wuiet
- Cord (8/5): Very good -
- Christine (10/5): Great place - Proximity to skiing Nothing, liked everything
- Sarah (10/5): Great! - Fantastic location, just a few minutes walk to the ski lift. Room was clean and tidy.
- Liam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (10/5): - Very close to the mountain
- Cameron (10/5): - For what it is, it’s a great property. A bit dated, but great location for a reasonable price. Owners are nice and helpful. Thanks.
- Young (8/5): Very good -
- Alexandre (8/5): Very good -
- Ted (7/5): I will likely return if I go to Park City again to ski. - Quaint, comfortable, nice people run the Lodge. Very convenient access to walk or bus to Park City Main area as well as market and drug store. Breakfast was very minimal. No elevator.
- Darrin (9/5): If you’re a hardcore skier/boarder wanting max mountain time, this is the place to be. - Location! Short walk to Park City Mtn lifts.
Attentiveness of staff. Breakfast is great for a full day of runs down the hill. Short walk to restaurants/bars/stores. Nothing
- Susan (9/5): Superb - LOCATION-3 mins walk to ski resort. Nice continental breakfast. Bathrooms are a bit tight.
- Audrey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional - This was such a great place to stay in Park City. I love hotels that have history and character. The hotel is old but super clean. Great location. Short walk to lifts and to Main Street to get meals. The owners and staff were super friendly and real. Loved my stay. Highly recommend
- Jessica (8/5): Very good -
- Kyle (7/5): pretty much what i expected of the cheapest place in town - staff were friendly and helpful, and the location can't be beat - just far enough away from the bottom of the lift to be out of the chaos. value was excellent for the location. the breakfast was a nice bonus i wasn't expecting, and the coffee was even decent. the walls are paper thin - i could hear every. movement in the room next to me, which thankfully was only talking, snoring, and a 6:30 alarm. if you're doing more than that in your room, your neighbours are hearing it :D
- Michael (9/5): Enjoyed it. I think it’s a nice place for a trip to Park city has a cool vibe. - Great casual vibe and a nostalgic European feel. Great value for the price. Nice, not pretentious place.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - This property was very good value, basically right next to the slope and very cheap. The guys behind the front desk was very welcoming and accommodating for us, always love having a chat. Place is close to nearby shops and food joints It can get cold in the early hours of the morning but not a big issue
- Clinton (5/5): Passable -
- Mackenzie (9/5): Superb -
- marcela (10/5): Close to lift and town and iconic ski lodge - Iconic, quintessential ski lodge so close to Payday lift. Basic breakfast items. Plenty
of Hot water! Love the fireplace in the lobby. Recommend the coffee shop at the library! 10 min walk to grocery store or to down town park city. Very walkable! Overall a really nice basic place. Not many of these around anymore.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cong (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matthew (7/5): Good -
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cynthia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Guillermo (10/5): Excellent - Location Location
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aleksandra (6/5): Great location but very much a budget spot - Location was great. Very short walk to the lift. Room could use a refresh, windows are drafty, room and main lobby area feel cold, coffee was mildly warm / burner didn’t seem to work
- Eugene (2/5): - Our room did not have any heat. When we complained they gave us a tiny electric heater which only helped slightly with the outside temperatures in the 20's and only single pane windows.
- Claire (10/5): - Great hotel, I really enjoyed my stay here. Clean and quiet room, comfortable.
Staff is friendly and helpful.
Great location, 5-10min. Walk to the ski and shopping area.
Little extras I enjoyed: central fireplace is cosy, breakfast area is nice
- Jeff (9/5): Superb -
- N (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrei (8/5): Very good - Location is pretty good, 5min walk to closest ski lift. One of the most economical options at the Park City. No temperature controls in the room. Charge for parking is $30/day.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Erika (9/5): This felt like a really cool old school ski lodge. - The location is perfect. We were walking distance from the Park City lifts. Also, they had a communal fridge and microwave available, which was really convenient! Finally, the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Overall, this place was really great!
- Anthony (9/5): Superb -
- Christophe (6/5): A very well located but very basic lodge in Park C - Very basic lodge and well located ( 10 minutes walking from Payday lift and 10-15 minutes from downtown Park City where lot of restaurants and bar).
Staff is friendly and a simple but good breakfast is served in the morning.
Rooms and bathrooms are VERY basic: beds are quite uncomfortable (especially if you are 6'4), and heating is almost non-existent (extra blankets and small space heaters available at the reception). Fortunately, plenty of hot water at every time of the day.
Our room had a double bed and a twin, with a sofa in the middle. We wished they had room with 2 queens which would have been more comfortable for 2 guys. There is a nice fireplace in the lobby which make it a nice place to relax after skiing (but bring your own snacks and drinks).
A very convenient feature is the possibility to use the bathroom of the dorm to shower and change on the last day after skiing (check-0out is 10 am)
- Vincent (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jorge (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fred (9/5): Superb - Location is easy walking distance to lifts and old downtown. Continental breakfast was a nice touch with cozy atmosphere. N.A.
- Gehang (9/5): Superb -
- Alexandra (10/5): - Excellent location, friendly & professional staff... lovely fireplace in the lobby area. Bed was comfortable and shower pressure was good too! Thanks Jason for a memorable stay!
- Jocelyn (8/5): Met my expectations for the price paid. - The location is great. The snow was adequately cleared from stairs and walkways. No elevator for luggage. No mini fridge or microwave.
- Pedro (8/5): Very good -
