- Richard (8/5): Great value in Sugarbush - Location. Right at the end of the access road to Sugarbush. Plenty of restuarants nearby. Good value. Mattresses need to be flipped. This is a common problem for almost all hotels, even national chains.

Parking was very good and they were very good at snow removal. The common area was quaint. Not much, it was in line with what we were expecting.

- Sharon (1/5): Do not stay here, room 11 is not what is advertised. - Location Everything, the picture of the room online and on the site are not the same as what the room actually looks like, very misleading. Tiny room tiny toilet space with tiny shower, the room as so hot and musty when we arrived, it triggered an asthma issue, so we had to leave. Did not stay the night. It was awful
- Angela (10/5): - The creek out back was amazing. The state had a burn ban in affect due to SEVERE drought so we couldn't utilize the fire pit areas. For being late in season there were not many options for dining. I just wish we could have spent more time at the lodge chillin outside, the running water from the creek and river were amazing. The new owners seem to be making upgrades, very friendly people.

The Deco restaurant was our favorite, and the Thai place very good. Not the quietest place, so if you are counting on that, it may not be a great fit. (thin walls: other visitor's toilets flushing & bathroom fans, talking, etc.) traffic sounds, wooden sidewalk exaggerated foot clomping sounds close to where we slept If you're a heavy sleeper, you'll be ok. We are light sleepers and it was an issue.

There was no staff on site but communication through text was great. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. There are several fire pits out back alongside a stream.

- Sarah (10/5): - Check in can be done through and app thats sent via text or in person, rooms have keyless entries with a code so made it super convenient. The back area was soooo cute! They have 4 fire pits next to a river with lighting and a bridge with some trails. We reserved 2 rooms and while 1 was perfect the other did have a squeeky bed and toliet flushed wierd. Other than that our stay was perfect and we wished we had more time to spend there.

The rooms are nicely designed, and the fireplace in the lobby is a nice touch when thinking ahead to fall/winter. The highlight of the property is the multiple fire pits and seating areas down along the river. It was beautiful down there, and spending the evening along the river was exactly what I had hoped for. I will be staying again!

If you are in the area or passing through, this hotel is not only adorable, the check in/out was seamless, price point was perfect and the beds were amazing! Plus there is a river outback that is stunning!! If I could give 10 stars I would have!

- DualsportChic (10/5): Favorite place to stay in upper Vermont - right on the Mad River! - Love this place. A longstanding lodge but with new ownership and upgraded rooms. The property sits right across from the Sugarbush entrance road and is easy to find (right on Rte 100). But the best surprise is right behind the lodge - beautiful fire pits right on the Mad River. We had a wonderfully relaxing fire each of the two nights we stayed there and it is the perfect placed to relax, looking into the flames while you hear the rush of the river in the background. The owners are wonderful as well. As a motorcyclist, I am also happy they support Backcountry Discovery Routes as a preferred lodging destination and are within 5 miles of the route!

- Ray (7/5): Good - I had business in Warren to attend to, so the location was very convenient. The no contact check in was easy and efficient. It served its purpose. I was in the area on business, so I having a desk would have benefitted me, but most of its clients would likely be there on vacation. The bed was not the most comfortable.
- Timothy (6/5): - The Warren Lodge's name sounds grand, but it's really just a roadside motel. It goes for a rustic charm but actually just seems to be working for minimal investment. Checkin and checkout are automated, which is efficient but utterly lacking in any sense of welcome or hospitality. No coffeemaker in room, no desk suitable for anyone on a business trip.

- STEPHEN (10/5): - Loved the property! Very clean and nicely maintained. The backyard was beautiful, with a little walking trail and bridge with a creek running underneath. No staff were on site, but they weren't really needed. It was super convenient to get the code for the room when it was time to check-in simply by following the email check-in procedures. There was a common room lodge to get water, tea, coffee, and snacks at any time of the day. You take what you wanted/needed and pay through Venmo. Prices were super reasonable and payment was easy. Would definitely stay here again!

We needed fresh towels and washcloths, text, and someone came to the front desk within 5 minutes and gave them to us. The coffee/tea station in the main lobby was always clean, stocked and choices for snacks were reasonable priced. The lodge is across the street from the bottom of Sugarbush access road which is amazingly convenient. Warren Lodge is centrally located between Waitsfield and Warren restaurants. The walls are very thin and the traffic and next rooms were loud at times. The adironack furniture was cute in decoration but not comfortable.

- SimplyCoastal (2/5): Lipstick on a pig - Avoid at all costs. The website does not accurately depict the current state of the property. After check-in, we realized our TV wasn’t working. I tried to reach somebody via phone, text and in person at the front desk. There is no one to help you. I received a text message back an hour and a half later. During that time, I realized our bedding was soiled and noted the overall condition of the room as being very dirty and smelled. The shower had mold in the seams, the outside of the toilet bowl was not clean and visibly soiled. There is a bottle cap in the sink drain that did not allow it to drain properly. The corners of the room and gaps between floor boards were dirty and dingy. The mini fridge hadn’t been cleaned and stunk. Their housekeeping did come change the sheets that night and provided a Roku so the tv worked however it kept showing a message that the streaming limit was reached. Upon my initial complaints about the linens and tv, they noted that the property was clearly not for me and that I could check out - without a refund. I asked to speak to a manager and I received back a thumbs up emoji. They only communicate via text. Needless to say, we did leave a day early and they’re still refusing to credit me for that night because I didn’t purchase trip protection. Their customer service is terrible, our room was dirty and the property poorly maintained.

- Sarah (10/5): Beautiful place with nice staff - The place is beautiful with river running behind property with several fire pit. Property does sell fire wood so no need to try to look for stores who has them. I would definitely recommend to use the fire pit, the scenery is gorgeous but be careful especially during fall theres lots of dry leaves around the pits that may catch fire. The room is very clean with nice sheets and clean towels and has adequate kitchen equipment to use if you are planning to do light cooking. Theres no staff in sight but they are very quick to respond thru text msgs if you have any requests, I loved Avery who helped us when we needed to change the room we booked. She was very quick to respond and eager to help us. I would definitely use this lodge again for people who worked at the property and the beautiful scenery and the atmosphere.

- Hana (10/5): Cute getaway - This place is super cute and cozy! The place is very clean and had a lot of needed amenities. The staff was super friendly and made the checkin process extremely easy. Such a wonderful find!
- Pace (8/5): A rustic experience, but much better than my beach front hotel the next day! - Location is great. The set up in the lobby is unique. The innkeeper works hard to make sure your needs are met. It was not staffed with a person that we saw. All communication was by text. Texts were quickly answered. It is a rustic cabin, but very clean with all the things that you need. It was a one-night stop on 9-day vacation. I can imagine that it would be fun with a group and using the outdoor firepits. The texts about security and surveillance were a little unnerving. I was afraid of the actual location of the lodge based on the texts.

- Joel (10/5): This is how it should be done - This is simply a great place. Rustic feel, but modern and clean and fun. Picnic area out back along the Mad River with WiFi access was one of the highlights of our week long visit too Vermont.
- Lelymar (8/5): Leaf pipping fall family roadtrip - The room was small, but the space was very well used and super cute! Lovely decorated, it had a queen and twin beds that were very comfortable. It even had a full lenght mirror, refrigerator and closet with additional pillows. Free parking in front of the room was convenient. There was free coffee and tea at the office, and snacks and beverages for purchase. Lodge grounds are very pretty and well maintained, with the Mad River nearby and accessible. The area is quiet and has many places to eat that you can get to in a few minutes. The only issue we had is that we couldn’t open the room with the instructions we were given, but we went back to the office and help was provided inmediately. We definitely recommend it.

- Martina (10/5): Unplanned yet absolutely awesome stay!!!! - The staff (Dana, RJ and lovely housekeeper I forgot her name) all were wonderful, helpful and made us feel right at home. We booked last minute because our campervan broke down several miles down the road. Everyone was so wonderful which helped tremendously while we were trying to deal with broken van. We cant thank the staff enough!!!!! This hotel is situated right on scenic VT rt 100 it has beautiful large back yard with multiple fire places and grills situated on river bank. We will definitely be back some day 👍🙏😜🚐. Nothing!
