• Marcela (4/5): Overall, the stay was disappointing due to misleading information about amenities and poor check-in - It was affordable They provide a map of the property that shows amenities such as a laundromat and breakfast service. However, when we asked about them, we were told that neither was actually available, which felt misleading. Additionally, we had to wait about 20 minutes at check-in because no one was available at the front desk.

• Miriam (5/5): Be vary of paid upgrades via Booking.com - Easy to find and located near to an excellent diner. On booking.com I had the option to pay to upgrade to high speed Internet. This was the deciding factor over other m[h]otels locally as I had a job interview via MS teams at 7.30am. However, when I checked in the clerk had no idea what I was talking about: there's just one WiFi and it should be good enough for a video call. When I went back to explain that the WiFi was poor and it was even struggling to download a document, he seemed unapologetic, and offered no solutions. Consequently, I barely slept because I was so stressed about not being able to attend my interview.
• Goettsch (9/5): - Large comfortable rooms and the location is perfect for our travels. Shower is only 5 feet high...I'm 6 foot plus
• Nola (9/5): very nice - all very clean and neat I would prefer to have a bed that is not so high as it is difficult to get onto and off those high beds. Having a step stool in the room would be helpful as well. I prefer a bed that I can sit on and be able to reach down to put my shoes on.
• Dylan (9/5): Great value - A terrific value for the price. Nice thick walls, we didn't hear a thing from any of the other units. Very clean too. Nicest budget hotel we've been in quite some time.

• chrissP294RF (10/5): Good Enough for Me - I got the room I requested and stayed overnight with my disabled German shepherd. The room was very spacious for the both of us. The bed was too soft for me, but others might find it comfortable. There is a BBQ restaurant attached to the motel and that made it convenient for me.

• Katie (8/5): The staff was really nice and we enjoyed our stay. - We didn’t have breakfast. The location was good, it was a little run down but our room was clean. It was better than my husband expected for the price. The pool could use some maintenance but it didn’t stop us from having fun.

• MacPhail (4/5): Won’t stay here again as a single female, Not worth the cheap price. - The price was great but I found out why. Room was clean but I would never stay there alone again. Had some creepy people kept pulling up in a car in front of my door. They seemed drunk or off when I came out to get something from my car and asked if their music was too loud but I was scared to even be out there and didn’t want to make enemy’s so I said no and quickly went back inside. They kept pulling in and out, like every hour or so. They’d leave the loud engine running and lights shining into my window, then one of the women would get out and argue with some guy in a room close by, it sounded like. I was creeped out all night.

• Jodi (9/5): Great location, friendly staff conveniently located to the Greenway and Downtown Idaho Falls. - The room was clean and tidy when we arrived at the motel. The beds were comfy so no complaints there. The location of the motel was close to the greenway where our events were located at which made traveling back and forth easy for us coming from out of town. I would have liked to have an earlier breakfast time since my friends and I would have liked to have eaten before having to go to an event at 8 am. As well as having listed that there are microwaves and a mini fridge listed on Booking.com would have assisted us in bringing food for the evening and/or eating our dinner leftovers.

• Clarrisa (8/5): Good - Room was clean, bed comfortable, had all we needed. Smell of cigarette smoke whenever we opened the door. Just a hint of it in there. We were not bothered by it, but wish it had not been there. No indication of when breakfast was served and we missed it :(

• Bryan (7/5): Overall, it was a comfy bed and good shower, but seemed a tired and dreary place to stay. - It was ok. Liked the jacuzzi and parking close to room. Grumpy staff, dingy aquatic area, tv was pretty sad and we left an expensive pillow there and hotel didn’t call or acknowledge it.

• Edward (1/5): liars, doing the bare minimum, and doing it poorly at that. other than that its your average 2 star - toilet worked, so i guess the bare minimum why even have a place to request special things, reply to the request for the special thing, say yes to the request for the special thing, then when I get there after requesting the special thing a WEEK in advance tell me "we aren't doing the special thing". Until you liars stop lying I will keep leaving 1 star reviews.

• Debra (10/5): It was everything the website said it would be and what a great value - We were eating with family members at their house so we did not partake breakfast I don’t think you can improve. It was wonderful. Will definitely be staying there again.

• Kristyn (8/5): Comfortable, clean, good WiFi, easy to access location. Thanks! - Perfect for my needs. I asked for late checkout and they were accommodating. I came to run the marathon and needed to shower before the drive home. Worked out great. Comfortable, clean, good WiFi, quiet neighbors, good water pressure in the shower, easy to access location. Thanks! Shower head was too low and I’m not that tall. I also needed ice machine closer to me, and I’m not sure that the fridge worked. I wish the bathroom light would work without the loud fan.
• Brent (4/5): First and last time - There wasn’t much to like, easy access off the I15 is about it. Obviously a budget motel and we expected such. On line reviews were very positive as to cleanliness and overall condition. However that did not reflect our experience. Room did not appear to be swept even, let alone floor washed perhaps, taps on sink and shower were so loose I was concerned that they might cause issues when turning taps on/off. And we had to get on the road early, so started out at 430am, so you would think there would be hot water for a shower at that time… nope. Don’t recommend this place, sleeping in your vehicle is about the same.
• ryan (8/5): friendly staff, good rates, plenty of space on a budget - I got this room last minute and was expecting the quality of a motel 6. When I opened the door to my room I was incredibly surprised that it not only had a jacuzzi tub but the layout was big and spacious. It was clean, had a bunch of lighting options and a pretty decent shower as well. The mirror in front of the bed, there was so many mirrors in that room which is kind of a novelty to me from places I typically have stayed to the point it was a little bit too much imo.
• Sharon (8/5): overall it wasn't bad! - it was nice that we got a ground floor room. The ice machine was right across the parking lot. It was nice and quiet, no screaming kids or adults. I had left my diamond stud earrings on the vanity. We stayed August 12th and I called this morning to see if the cleaning lady had turned them in, NOT! I am so upset. You can't trust anyone!! Because of that I will be giving a bad review! The walls of the bathroom needs to be repaired.
• William (1/5): Mice in room is unacceptable at any price - Close to Yellowstone Mice in my room !!! Disgusting to pay for a night with mice. Manager showed no embarrassment for the health hazard . Manager reduced room charge a meager 15% from $230 to $200 claimed that was standard policy - sad unprofessional response indicates no interest in customer satisfaction. Avoid this Motel

This motel is our go to for our very long road trips and we always sleep well and know that the room is clean and the bed is comfortable! This budget friendly motel is our fave as they are what they preach. Will always choose Motel West when we road trip through Idaho Falls. The hot pool closed again but at least the tub and shower and very hot!

• Thomas (7/5): Good, clean, comfortable room and great value. - Overall clean and comfortable room. Great location and easy access. I stayed in this motel back in September and really liked it and that was the reason I chose it again. Great staff. Very friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable but the bed was a bit hard. Also some water temperature variation using the shower was a bit annoying.
