Mauricio (8/5): Mejora en el servicio - La vista al mar desde el restaurante, cuenta con una arquitectura linda en la piscina que permite disfrutar la vista del mar y del atardecer Lo primero el aire acondicionado en la habitación es central pero al estar ubicado encima de la cama, hace que todo el aire frio este sobre el huésped y la noche no sea confortable, ya que si se apaga el calor te consume o dejas el frío que no es tan chévere. *De otro lado el acceso al mar es bastante feo, las escaleras son inseguras (de madera), y la playa es sucia, rocosa y no se puede nadar bien ya que aunque ellos lo indican el acceso a nadar es prácticamente nulo. *La zona de la piscina tenía un poco de mal olor * Cuando se está en la zona de sillas en la parte que da al mar el personal del restaurante es ausente, están muy poco pendientes del huésped, es necesario subir para poder solicitar ayuda o alguna bebida ( sería conveniente tener un botón de llamado).

Marco Palmiro (6/5): Für mich gilt: Nie wieder Hotel Poseidon in Manta. - Das einzige wirklich schöne war die Aussicht, vom Baderestaurant aus. Meer Palmiro und direkter Zugang zum Strand mit Möglichkeit im Pazifik zu baden. Das Restaurant war kein eigentliches Restaurant, sondern eine Badebar, in welcher man auch Essen bestellen kann. Das Essen ist teuer, vor allem weil zum angeschrieben Preis noch sehr viele Kommisionen und sonstige Abgaben drauf geschlagen werden. Die Tische in der Badebar wurden sehr oft durch Badetücher und sonstige Utensilien besetzt, so dass die Gäste, die einfach essen wollten keinen Platz mehr hatten. Dies dürfte auf keinen Fall so sein, weil die Badebar der einzige Ort ist von dem aus man das Meer sieht. Es sei dann man habe für teures Geld ein Zimmer mit Meersicht gebucht. Wer ein günstigeres Zimmer gebucht hat, wird in einem Zimmer unter gebracht, das Halbdunkel ist weil die Fenster auf eine Art Schacht gehen und man sieht nur die Schachtmauern. Der Gipfel ist aber, wenn Gäste statt des Liftes die Treppe hoch gehen, dann sehen sie direkt in die Zimmer hinein, die auf diesen Schacht münden. Den ganzen Tag und halbe Nacht wurde Musik abgespielt, mit unglaublich schlechten Lautsprecher, welche nur noch die mittleren Bässe wiedergaben. Die Höhen waren gar nicht mehr zu vernehmen. Also wer eine ruhige Aussicht auf das Meer wollte ist hier sehr schlecht beraten.

El desayuno bastante pobre y sin productos locales, lo único que puedo resaltar es la calidad del pan, lo otro bastante normalito.

Muy cómoda y ventilada, con aire acondicionado que funciona muy bien. Muy buen desayuno con variedad de bocados típicos. Personal de servicio en restaurante y piscina en cantidad insuficiente para época de alta demanda como es Fin de Año. Aunque la piscina es espectacular, esta y sus instalaciones adjuntas (mesas, sillas) son muy pequeñas para el hotel cuando tiene alta ocupación.

The issue is that you can't clearly differentiate between high-quality and low-quality properties because of the way sponsorship affects rankings. This hotel had a 9.3 score, which I trusted. We were traveling through Ecuador and I booked the whole trip in advance using the same approach: filter by high rating, ignore the price, assuming the experience would match. I’m used to staying in 5-star hotels, and I was expecting something in that range. In Manta, there were three hotels around the same price point, and I picked this one because it advertised a "private beach." In reality, that beach felt more like a dump yard than anything private. To be fair, the room itself was decent beachfront view, bed, desk, bathroom, and a sofa. The photos make it look premium, but the infrastructure is clearly old and tired. The crowd? Think spring break energy, even during the week. People making out in the pool, swimming with clothes on. On the weekend, it turned into a chaotic family scene with the same vibe. It was a nightmare. Honestly, I should’ve known when they charged us the full amount over $1000 before we even saw the room. That should’ve been a red flag. Bottom line: if you’re looking for a premium experience, this is not the place. If you’re okay with a very average room and a loud, party-style crowd, then this hotel might be for you. Breakfast was average as well.

Claudia (7/5): - Es un buen hotel, nos recibieron súper tarde y nos ayudaron a cargar las maletas. Se veía ordenado y limpio. Además el ascensor no estaba funcionando y nos hicieron un upgrade de cortesía La habitación no estaba tan limpia, pero como mi estadía era breve no me afectó mucho.

Muentes (10/5): Una estadía tranquila y muy acogedora - Lo que más me gusta del Hotel Poseidón es la tranquilidad que se siente desde que llegas. Las instalaciones son limpias, cómodas y siempre bien cuidadas. El personal es muy amable y la ubicación es perfecta: cerca de todo, pero con la calma ideal para descansar. La vista y la piscina hacen que la estadía sea realmente relajante.

As a whole, it should be updated to maintain its charm. The outside road and entrance as you arrive to this hotel is not appealing. It would be better if they can fix that.

Antonio (10/5): - Me fueron a retirar al aeropuerto totalmente gratis. En el check in me dieron una habitación de mejor categoría y fue grandioso para mí esposa y para mí. La comida en el restaurante fue grandiosa, el desayuno bastante extenso. EL MEJOR HOTEL DE MANTA! el personal me supo asistir con ubicaciones de discotecas y en todo momento fueron súper serviciales

Osmary (10/5): Tienen la mejor vista al mar😍 - Me encantó el hotel, me voy muy feliz , lo que más me gustó fue la increíble vista del restaurante al mar y que en la playita tuve la suerte de poder disfrutar el sábado de dj y fogata al sunset :) Muy agradecida con la chica de la recepción que me permitió entrar temprano gratis a la habitación y al joven que también muy amable me ayudó con late check out de cortesía, sin duda alguna volveré!!
