• Byron (8/5): Functional, Inexpensive lodging if all you need is a bed and a bathroom - imo, that is all you need. - Super easy to virtual check-in, there is no reception - was formerly a hostel. The communal eating space on the 3rd floor was enough (not for cooking) but just for breakfast foods, fruit, yogurt, snacks, and the hot water heater for coffee/tea whenever. I found the bed comfy enough. Close to the mercado, and an easy 10-12 min walk to the commercial centre of the city. The price is amazing and unheard-of in today's economy (went in May, before peak tourist season). Wi-fi was reliable. When first using the code to get in the door, there are no sounds or haptics, so it's hard to tell if you are hitting the right buttons - just takes some getting used to and some confidence - was not really a negative or an issue at all.

• Patricia (10/5): A lovely hotel - My booking from another Go by Lince property was upgraded to this 4 star hotel. It was very comfortable in every way and the variety of food for breakfast was excellent. The location is not pretty as it is in an urban area. It is a downhill walk to the marina but going back uphill is not so easy.

Difficile la comunicazione con la reception, problematiche anche all'ultimo secondo con latenza nella risposta. Stanza per nulla insonorizzata e struttura senza la possibilità di lasciare le valigie anche dopo l'orario di check out.

• Lesia (3/5): Terrible service, I do not advise. - Good bed. The hotel has very late check in. No personal inside. My code for entering hotel and room was wrong. Management does not read messages in chat. My room was occasionally opened by master key of cleaning staff but no one send me a right code. I cannot leave hotel from 4 pm till check out in the morning, because if doors will close I have no code to enter again. Wasn’t able to have a dinner or buy a water at least, because I was alone in the room. There wasn't any plain water to drink in the room. Personnel do not able even help you to call a taxi to the airport in the morning. Most terrible service for all my 15 years of traveling.

• Michel (8/5): Lince hotel is goed verzorgd en op loopafstand centrum - We hadden een upgrade naar het Lince hotel. Incl ontbijt en dagelijks werd de kamer schoon gemaakt/ bedden opgemaakt. 20 min lopen naar het centrum. Beetje zoeken soms naar een parkeerplek, wel gratis overigens.

Como quase em todos os hotéis este não é excepção e com alguma facilidade se ouve a pessoas nas outras habitações, principalmente a utilização da casa de banho.

• Clémence (7/5): bien - Accès à l’hôtel et à la chambre simple et pratique, ce qui est appréciable. L’établissement est idéalement situé en plein centre-ville, permettant de tout faire à pied. Au mois d’avril, le stationnement a été facile à trouver.Les locaux communs et la chambre étaient propres. Les rideaux occultants fonctionnent très bien. La chambre côté parking offre une vue dégagée et, surtout, aucun bruit, ce qui est très appréciable. Il y a également beaucoup de rangements pour les affaires et les vêtements. La salle de cuisine commune est propre et agréable. En revanche, quelques points sont à améliorer : un pommeau de douche légèrement défectueux et une télévision tordue, impossible à redresser par moi-même. Par ailleurs, au vu des photos et des commentaires, je pensais qu’un petit déjeuner était proposé, ce qui n’était finalement pas le cas. J’ai contacté l’hôtel via Booking sans obtenir de réponse. Cela mériterait d’être précisé plus clairement pour éviter toute confusion. Enfin, si la salle commune est destinée à se préparer des repas, il serait appréciable d’y trouver des plaques chauffantes en complément du micro-ondes.

Check-in and check-out was very easy. The location was really convenient as the town centre was a very short walk away. The water in the shower was not very warm. It wasn't uncomfortable but it could definitely be hotter The pillows could be bigger for the size of the bed.

• Natalia Celac (5/5): Good central location, but noisy and unhygienic issues - The good thing was the location, in the center of Ponta Delgada. Overall it was clean, just with some issues. However, our room was next to several air conditioning units. While it was quiet over the weekend, they became quite noisy during the week, making it hard to keep the window open. The shower drain was slow, causing water to accumulate in the cabin, which felt unhygienic. Also, some of the towels seemed not properly washed and had stains.
