- Pam (6/5): Quick overnight stay - First of all, options in McGehee are limited. Given that, this property was fine for a night. It is basic, but had a small frig with a freezer so that I could refreeze my ice packs and food items. I would stay here again.

- JOY (8/5): - The owners have done a good job of updating the look of this motel and the price was good. However, my dog was scared to go in the room, the baseboard tile under the sink was wonky (only an aesthetic concern), I couldn't get the TV to turn on and the bed was a tall bed (I'm short and therefore don't enjoy tall beds). I still gave them a good review though because who knows why my dog was scared, the tile didn't impact my comfort, and I didn't ask for assistance with the TV because I decided to just sleep.
- Telisha (7/5): Good - The $50 dollar service charge for a smoking room that stinks was insane. I understand they get a lot of construction workers who may damage the room but I’ve been coming for the past few months and never had to pay an extra $50 after I’ve already paid for my room
- Alexander (6/5): Ok for low cost - The room was generally adequate for a low costotel. Walls are recently painted, room is large, bed was wide and comfortable, water was hot. Large refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker. Heater worked. All is functional although outdated. Linen had some spots and holes but looked cleanly laundered. Exterior is a bit depressing as is the surrounding town. Grounds present sad grass and patches of broken bricks. Periodic loud noises and waves of industrial smells.

- Melinda (8/5): Nice room, just be prepared. - This is an older hotel, but has definitely been upgraded. I actually stayed in this hotel 50 years ago. The room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. Don’t let the outside scare you off- it looked like they are still working on the upgrades. There were several things I have come to expect in. Hotel room that this one didn’t have. We nicknamed it “The bare necessities hotel”. We got the Queen deluxe room and I guess that was because it did have a refrigerator and a microwave. The refrigerator was actually the biggest I’ve seen in a room and it had a separate freezer. The things it didn’t have that I had expected were a hairdryer, a clock, lamps, USB plugs, a light over the bathroom mirror, and tissues. I wouldn’t tell anyone not to stay here because of the lack of these things, just be prepared.

- Erin (1/5): It was horrible was ready to get out of that room first thing in the morning - The location was good There was thick dust on top of the headboard . My son came to visit and we were told visitors were not allowed. There was a roach that crawled across the wall and I dropped something behind the fridge and when we moved it out to get it the fridge was full of roaches in the back. We also lifted the sheets off for housekeeping as we normally do and there was what appeared to be old blood droplets on the mattress pad 🤮 and there was black mold by the doorway

- melodiusthunkproducm (10/5): Clean and kind - Figuring where to stay while unlocking my vehicle’s mechanical mysteries I thought I'd take a chance on the independently owned Relax Inn. I looked at a King room and was pleased to see the family owned motel twas as clean as any 5 star establishment I’ve stayed in my 6 month travels around Dixie. Full sized fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hot shower, puffy pillows, clean sheets, clean towels, clean bathroom, clean floors, with laundry onsite. About a block away you’ve a good and inexpensive Mexican Restaurant with daily specials as well as a breakfast/lunch Cambodian Bakery with $2.95 breakfast burritos, morning made donuts and a Cambodian Cold Coffee to die for. A young hard working couple owns the Relax Inn alongside another motel about 45 minutes away. They’ve been building their motel business through hard work, grit and kindness. Because the Relax Inn is independent their prices were below anything around town as well as in Pine Bluff 60 miles away. The Relax Inn has been a godsend – if you find yourself this way give the Relax Inn a shot.

I had to leave to go eat breakfast and come back to return. The keys was not happy about that at all cause I had wanted to get on the road and get home at five hours to drive.

- Charles (8/5): A good value in a low-priced motel - I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room that I was given at the price that I paid. Bed was very good and the room was very clean. Yeas it is a 60"s motel; but, the value is very good. A better coffee pot.

- Cynthia (5/5): Passable - Location was convenient. Room was updated. And the same as shown in the photo. The lighting was all recessed. Really nice touch. The problem was, no matter which switch you picked, the light was in your eyes. That's where lamps come into play. I loved the window shade. It was very light proof. What completely ruined my stay was the other guests. The MGMT groups the guests into blocks of rooms, one right next to the other. We had people who at midnight decided to start fighting. Banging on the door, screaming to be let in. Then there was the super loud tow truck that idled for hours at a time. I didn't get much sleep.

- Sydney (1/5): not worth a dime. not clean at all. - absolutely nothing. the pictures online from the “remodel” are a scam and false advertising everything. the poor lady at the front desk would get calls from the owner watching us on the cameras. he would call and butt in on our conversations. the lady at the front desk was trying her hardest but seemed like she had the most difficult boss to work for. the “remodeled” rooms smell musty and like mold. the rooms are not clean and they used recycled furniture to “remodel” nothing is new. there was a stain on the comforter. the walls could not even be painted properly. we did not even stay here and could not get a refund. save your money instead of booking here and drive 20 minutes up the road to days inn in dumas.

I didn't even stay there after all that... and of course, booking.com had it listed as non refundable but I wasn't risking my health staying therr

- Yvonne (8/5): - After reading some of the reviews I was somewhat anxious but was pleasantly surprised. If you just need a place to sleep and a bathroom this fits perfectly. It was clean, a nice firm bed with clean linens, no bugs, quiet and what really impressed me was the very soft water in the shower. I wanted to bring the shower home to Oklahoma because we have to deal with such hard water. This place is nothing fancy but was fine for what we needed. The front door could use some insulation, bathroom door some WD-40 and if you don't have your own shampoo there are little packets. The TV worked well but had a line down it which didn't bother us. The base of the bed is metal so when you sit down on it, It makes a soft "Gong" sound. :) We thought it was coming from outside 'til we figured it out. We just thought it was funny. :D We will probably never go that way again but if we do it would not bother us to stay there again.

- Joe (4/5): - The bathroom door was splintered. The shower/tub's caulking was dirty and rough. There were weeds in all the cracks in the pavement and sidewalks. The TV remote didn't work properly. One nice surprise was that McGehee, AR was the site of a Japanese interment camp during WW II and they have a nice museum in the local train station.
