• Raul (10/5): Incredible hotel in the rice fields of Ubud - Probably the best hotel I've ever visited. Incredible room, incredible staff, and beautiful surroundings. I wish we had stayed longer. And the restaurant upstairs is also incredible. We probably ate the best steak of our lives. Yes, it is expensive, but it is worth it. I just can't recommend it enough!
• yanagawa (10/5): - The hotel is located in the middle of rice fields, so it was difficult to get around on the hotel's motorbike. However, we were able to enjoy the natural surroundings of Ubud. The staff were friendly and helpful.
• Aaron (10/5): - This is a small boutique hotel with 4 units. The staff are accommodating and friendly and go out of their way to provide excellent service. I had an early departure at 6 AM for the airport. The staff knew I would not be able to eat breakfast and offered to provide a breakfast box for me to take and I did not even need to ask. On the day of my departure, it was raining. Because cars are not allowed on the road to the resort, staff pick you up from the main road and take you down. My luggage would be out in the open in the scooter; the staff put my luggage into a plastic bag so that it would not get wet. Again, this was done without having to ask. They made arrangements for drivers, tours etc and were patient when he had multiple changes as to what we needed. The hotel is close to center of Ubud where there is shopping and numerous dining options. Yet, it is quiet and peaceful at the hotel and you would not even know you are in town. The breakfast is amazing and delicious and so was dinner. If you are not going out for the day, there is not as much for you to do as there is only a small pool at the hotel. But the room is very nice and relaxing in there would be wonderful. We highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again if we travel to Bali again.

From the moment we were picked up by the driver (Komang, you were so lovely and accomodating, thank you so much for waiting all that extra time for us and doing a second transfer which was also delayed, we hugely appreciated it) we were immediately thoroughly looked after. We have never experienced the levels service we did here - everyone helped immensely and nothing was too much trouble. They even arranged a lovely flower greeting for our anniversary, a much appreciated personal touch. Our room was lovely (sky loft) it was only a shame that we didn't spend too much time there as we were out exploring, but we loved having breakfast on the private roof terrace. We also had an in room massage which was very relaxing. Unfortunately we also didn't get to go in the pool but it looked very peaceful. The food was lovely (breakfast, we were not around for dinner) and we appreciated the detail and arrangements to get everything perfect. Although the surrounding area is very peaceful and natural, we appreciated the complimentary scooter rides into the center of Ubud, we had a jam packed itinerary and it helped keep us on track. The concierge was also at hand to advise and help with our plans and questions. The hotel is small but bespoke and allows the staff to really focus on their guests. We doubt we will ever be looked after the same and we thank everyone for their friendliness and hospitality. We had an amazing stay and wished it was longer.

The pictures that you see on the website is exactly what you will see when you get there. The food at the restaurant was very good, love their breakfast. We had seafood and it was delicious. Overall we enjoyed it very much. Will definitely come back with family next time. This is better than 5 star hotel!

• Marcos (10/5): - 5-star hotel for sure! From arrival to departure, we were treated like VIPs. The staff is super friendly and efficient. They always anticipated our needs. They even had a slice of cake with a candle and a Happy Birthday flower sign for my partner. There’s only 4 or 5 very exclusive villas. Our room was incredible. They cleaned it in the morning and afternoon. The villas are in a quiet and secluded area so no car has access to them. The busy area is a 15-20 minute walk or a 5-minute scooter ride which they are happy to provide anytime at no charge. HIGHLY recommended 5-star hotel.
• Dorothy Hui Xin (10/5): - Really convenient location in central ubud but away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds. You get ferried to and fro from tge rice fields via on demand scooter 24/7 which was a fun experience in itself!
• OLEXIY (10/5): Ticket to paradise - It was an amazing stay in very comfortable and beautiful place surrounded by Juwuk rice fields (early walks are a must!). The location is great, quiet, yet within easy reach to central Ubud (7 min by scooter, 20 min walking).

Bedroom and bathroom was gorgeous and our rooftop deck was great as we had breakfast there overlooking the rice fields each morning. The staff were the best. They couldn’t do enough for us. We loved the scooter rides to town and the restaurant on the premises is as fine as any restaurant you would find in NY. I highly recommend it.

What we didn't expect was the level of personal service and amazing food at the Grille Restaurant on the property. It was a perfect place for us! Enough space, quiet air-conditioning feel very far from Downtown because it's isolated in the middle of race field, but really close to town. All staffs are very kind and well very supportive.

• Barbara (10/5): - Our stay at the Luxe Villas in Ubud was just what we needed to unwind. If you choose to stay away from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud and Bali beaches and instead want to relax in a quiet and beautiful area – opt for the Luxe Villas. It is situated in a no car zone, accessible by scooters only (butlers from the Luxe Villas will assist you with your luggage and personal transportation). It is also an easy walk where you could unwind from the busy city center if you chose so. From the beginning to the end our experience was wonderful. The Grille upstairs offers wonderful service, and all the meals are beautifully and skillfully prepared by the chef and his team. The premises are clean, aesthetics meets the beauty and the function with purpose of relaxation. All the staff from the reception, butlers, and restaurant are extremely helpful and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our stay - thank you everyone at the Luxe Villas – you gave us the best vacation in a long time!

From Paul the owner who greeted us in person, to Ketut, Kadek and Nyoman the concierges, the super funny Dewa the driver and everyone else like the restaurant personnel and room service crew, this place makes you feel like home from the minute you arrive. Next morning when you greet them you feel they have been your friends for a long time, and that´s not something I can say about people in many places I've been around the world. My wife and I came with the idea of eating around town, since we are big foodies, but the food and serviec at the Grill stole our hearts. Perfect breakfast, perfect dinners, amazing chef… What can I say? If you come to Ubud, look no further. This is the place. • Sarah (10/5): Best Hotel in the World - I’ve stayed in hotels in 80 countries and this has been by far my favorite one. It is located in the picturesque rice fields of Ubud though a short walking distance to the hustle and bustle of central Ubud. The staff are the most attentive, and friendly I have encountered. They are always paying attention to the smallest details to make sure your stay with them is perfection. The breakfast and diner served at the hotel is also one of the best I've experienced. I could not have asked for a better stay. I would highly recommend this place.

It is an exceptional place to stay that should be experienced at least once in a lifetime if not once a year. The owners Paul and Grace and their staff do an absolutely wonderful job looking after guests and making them feel at home. It's a luxury 5 star stay in an exotic and peaceful environment offering respite from the madding crowd just a few hundred metres away.

Alle medarbejderne gjorde en forskel og vi følte os virkelig som noget særligt på LUXE Villas Bali. Ejerne Grace & Poul delte glædeligt ud af deres oplevelser og erfaringer omkring attraktioner og spisesteder i Ubud. Restauranten på hotellet var enestående og morgenmaden helt unik, Vi fik bla. “Steak Benedict” som er anguskød med porcheret æg, den kan klart anbefales... Hotellet er et perfekt sted at koble af og komme helt ned i gear, og de kan arrangeret alt for dig. Vi skulle eks. videre fra luxe Villas til Gilli air, hvilket de arrangerede 100% for os som en del af deres service. Vi vil klart komme tilbage til LUXE Villas hvis vi skal besøge bali igen

• Verified traveler (10/5): 還暦祝いの家族旅行 - 田んぼの中の高級ﾎﾃﾙでした。宿泊部屋は全部で数部屋しかないので、他の客とは2階にあるﾚｽﾄﾗﾝで見かける程度。静かな環境で、田んぼの中のｱﾋﾙたちを眺めながら、お茶や食事ができ、とてもﾘﾗｯｸｽできる贅沢な時間を持てました。素敵なｳｪﾙｶﾑﾄﾞﾘﾝｸを頂いた後にも関わらず、15時から17時まではﾊｲﾃｨｰが無料ということなので、それもいただきました。ｲﾝﾃﾘｱも飲み物も食事類ももどれも洗練されていておいしいし、素敵です。ｽﾀｯﾌも少人数なので、2泊3日のうちに顔見知りになります。みなさん、もちろん笑顔が素敵で親切です。ﾎﾃﾙの立地が車が入らない田んぼの中にあるので、最寄（ｳﾌﾞﾄﾞ王宮周辺）の駐車場からは、ｽﾀｯﾌのﾊﾞｲｸで送迎付きです。1kmくらいなので、日中は散歩にちょうどいい。ﾎﾃﾙには電話がないのでﾎﾃﾙとの連絡専用に携帯電話を持たせてくれます。ﾀﾞﾝｽを観て夕食をしたので22時を過ぎたのですが、夕食終了時に電話したらすぐに迎えに来てくれました。洗面所は1か所で広く、ｼﾝｸが2個あり、ｼｬﾜｰとﾊﾞｽﾀﾌﾞは場所が分かれていました。主人と娘と3人で使用するにはとても便利でした。ただ、ｼｬﾜｰはﾎｰｽの向きに注意しないと、ﾄｲﾚ周囲まで水浸しになってしまうので要注意です。部屋は広く、清潔で素晴らしいｲﾝﾃﾘｱでした。ﾊﾞﾘ島ではエコ対策に取り組んでいて、ﾌﾟﾚｽﾁｯｸ製品から紙や竹のｽﾄﾛｰに変わっていたり、ﾌﾟﾗｽﾁｯｸ袋使用の制限や、分別ｺﾞﾐ箱の設置などが実行されていました。ﾎﾃﾙのﾄｲﾚでは、ﾄｲﾚｯﾄﾍﾟｰﾊﾟｰ専用のごみ箱がありました。ｲﾝﾄﾞﾈｼｱでは排泄後の洗浄は当たり前ですが、先進国はﾄｲﾚｯﾄﾊﾟｰﾊﾟｰ社会なので、その使用法をﾁｪｯｸｲﾝの時に説明してもらったらよかったと思いました。うっかりﾄｲﾚｯﾄﾊﾟｰﾊﾟｰを流した時、詰まりそうになりました。もしかしたら、田んぼの中にあるﾎﾃﾙなので、浄化ｼｽﾃﾑ上の問題かもしれません。ただ、水道水はﾄﾞｲﾂの浄化ｼｽﾃﾑを利用しているとのことで、飲料可能でした。ﾊﾞｲｸの後ろでﾊﾞﾘ島の風を浴び、路地を走り抜け、椰子の木と田んぼの中にある異世界。そしてﾊﾞﾘﾆｰｽﾞとの触れ合いなだら、ﾘﾗｯｸｽできる最高のﾎﾃﾙだと思います。また行きたいと思います。
• Bianca (10/5): Loved the Luxe - We loved staying at Luxe. The staff was extremely helpful all the time. They offer scooter rides into town at all hours of the day and brought us in masseuses that were fantastic. The food is also tasty and fresh. The room was wonderful and views are superb.

• A (10/5): - Luxe Villas' pledge: where nature meets elegance in an oasis of serenity... one like no other". Did Luxe live up to its own pledge? Certainly... and beyond too. I have to compliment their staff and massage therapists. Otherwise, there will be injustice. From the moment you step into the villa until your departure, you will be surrounded by TLC (tender, loving, care) and the staff perform their duties with much passions not mere chores. For cowards like us, perhaps the only drawback, is the scooter ride back and forth from/to the villa. Whenever there is an elevated avenue, a downslope, another on-coming vehicle, we thought that we will fall or that our knees will crush against the wall. Well, it is merely our phobia as scooter riding is not our cup of tea. Will we be back? You bet!!!

• Geoff (10/5): Perfect in every way!!! - We had an amazing stay at Luxe. Our room was big and the beautiful four poster bed was ultra comfortable with quality sheets. It was absolute luxury to be able to drink the water straight from the tap. The shower had great pressure and, again, the water was potable. All the amenities are supplied in full sized containers - which is great to find a hotel conscious of plastic rubbish. In fact the whole hotel uses no plastic disposable items. The hotel is surrounded by rice paddies and it’s an easy 1.4 km walk to the main road (near the palace) in Ubud. Otherwise there’s a free 24hrs motorbike shuttle to or from the hotel. Luxe supplies a Nokia mobile phone for guests to call for the motorbike or restaurant. Breakfast was included and was from the menu at Luxe Restaurant with amazing views over the rice fields. Delicious fresh food with great coffee. Afternoon tea was also supplied, which had a couple of sweet and savoury items with coffee. We only stayed for two nights but wished we’d stayed for longer. It is a beautiful relaxing place to visit. It felt like the owners have thought about every aspect to make a comfortable stay - whether it’s relaxing by the pool or walking the ‘green walk’ through the rice fields Paul and the fantastic staff were able to help make our stay at Luxe amazing.

• Danielle (10/5): - The luxe villas are amazing. My mother and i traveled to indonesia for a wedding and treated ourselves to 4 days im bali as a reward. The resort was beautiful and relaxing. It sat in the rice paddys which were quiet and tranquil, yet it was minutes from downtown ubud. The staff was friendly and helpful. They treat you like family, and remember your day trips, likes, dislikes, needs and even your food allergies. The food at the resort was the best food i have ever had. We ate the complimentary breakfast every day, had afternoon tea which is quite a treat, dinner twice on site and room service lunch. The whole resort is a luxurous home away from home.

• Verified traveler (8/5): 靠近烏布巿中心 - 服務一流、職員有禮，但房間比預期有巨大落差（訂房時看圖片以為每間客房帶小小的私人泳池，但其實只有一個很小的公共泳池，小得根本不好意思在那裡泡著），房間的陽台也小得根本不能坐。安排的房間在底層且近大堂入口，看不到什麼景色之餘，很容易被走廊的聲音吵醒）。早餐非常好吃，只是份量比較少，製作時間也比較久。也沒有提前告知有贈送免費下午茶，所以時間安排上錯過了。房間內沒有茶包也沒有熱水器。住頂層房間應該不錯，底層就算了。

• Richard (10/5): Stay here! - What can I say about this place, Ubud can be very busy in the main area. This hotel is in the rice paddies a few minutes away but feels like it could be miles away. Paul (the owner) is an absolute delight and treats each guest like an old friend. He set up various day trips for us all last minute and they were wonderful. The restaurant on site is wonderful and the staff is delightful. I could not recommend this place more.

Staff are very thoughtful and prepared a birthday surprise for my Husband upon noticing his birthday on the passport during check in. Food was amazing - would recommend miso cod fish and steak for dinner. Will definitely stay in this place for my next visit! :)

• Stephanie (10/5): Luxury in Ubud - The Luxe Villas appears to be floating on the rice fields. A beautiful place to relax and unwind. Surrounded by rice fields in Ubud you approach the Luxe Villas by motor bike or on foot. This may not appeal to all but we can assure you it's you will enjoy your short ride on the back of a bike or the leisurely walk. The only sounds you hear are the ducks quacking or the roosters in the morning, no traffic noises. It's a pleasant walk to the main street of Ubud where you can find fantastic restaurants, cafes, bars and shopping. Hosts Paul and Grace along with staff members make you feel very welcome and part of the Luxe family. Breakfast served in Villa or restaurant was wonderful and the restaurant provided an excellent varied menu along with excellent service. We can certainly recommend Luxe Villas for your next holiday in Bali.
• Kathy (10/5): Good location, tidy room, fantastic services - I stayed here for three days in the sky suite. The villa locates in a very good location. It's on a hill and in the middle of the farms. The Stuff can drive ppl to downtown for only 5 mins. The room is large and decoration is lovely. Stuff are very nice and polite. The owner Paul is considerable. I will surely recommend this villa to my friends.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Very nice boutique hotel with great food and staff - The hotel is excellent with very comforting staff and extradinary food (their cafe is rated as Top 1 in Ubud!). The room is clean and nice, with everything inside for quality. The rice field view just outside the room also makes the stay quite unique and relaxing. If anything not that perfect is the location of the hotel, which is outside of the main road so every time needs about 10-15mins of motorcycle transfer to the main road to get access to car/taxi. However, the staff there are very helpful and at your service anytime.
