Guest Reviews
- Allan (8/5): The property was very convenient for us as it was very close to the family we were visiting. - The Host kindly left a lovely hamper containing milk, cereal etc. We were very grateful to the Host for accommodating us for a longer period than previously arranged. We could hear the traffic outside, when we were in bed, which was really noisy.
- Heike (9/5): -
- Micheal (10/5): Would go back again, - Location
Hospitality
Cleanliness No toilet downstairs
- Barnaby (10/5): - Trisha is wonderful - she has made the place really welcoming and well thought through. Excellent communication too.
- Ian (10/5): Stayed here whilst back visiting family! Never knew it was a rental property so was pleasantly surprised. The owner coul - The decor and layout is beautiful Nothing! The property is perfect
- Paula (10/5): - My family had a nice relaxing time staying here while our home was being renovated. we stayed for 3 nites while our electrics and plumbing were being done. There was a lovely welcoming hamper, and the house is beautifully decorated and furnished, the host trisha is friendly and just a message away if needed, I would recommend to any family looking for a comfortable stay. We couldn't fault anything.
- Thomas (9/5): -
- Diane (10/5): Beautiful house - Everything. It was so comfortable and clean.
The treats and host were lovely too Nothing
- Bittu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (10/5): Langs Hall, Leyland.Family stay 4 x adults, 1 baby and the dog. - Easy location to find, parking on site, house had all the amenities you need for a family stay, comfortable beds. Trisha was a great host and the Lancashire welcome basket was a nice touch. Nothing.
- Rowan (8/5): Homely and welcoming - It's a very cute and cosy house, quirky layout and nice furnishings. We appreciated the little touches of homeliness including a welcome hamper. It's on a main road so there was inevitably some road noise at night.
- Jo (10/5): Wish we'd had more time to stay in! - The host was great at communicating with me from the moment I booked, and answering all my questions. The house was lovely and cosy on arrival, clean and tidy, with a welcome hamper included. There was plenty of crockery, pots and pans, soft towels and clean sheets. We loved the quirky decor features too. The only thing that would improve a stay here would be a tiny bit more space for our own stuff - a long towel rail or hooks above the radiator in the bathroom, perhaps a shelf for our toiletries. But really, all three of us loved it here.
- Sean (10/5): Home from home at a very reasonable cost. - I honestly don’t have anything negative to say about this place it’s a Gem and properties like this are very rare, surprised it’s not fully booked all year round.
Thanks for having us, will definitely be looking to stay here again. I have absolutely no complaints
- Jill (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, comfortable and characterful. This property is beautifully presented. A lovely hamper on arrival. Nothing
- Susan (9/5): A real discovery in Leyland - The house was beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped. Trisha also left us a lovely welcome basket with wine, biscuits, fruit, crisps..we couldn't have asked for more. Trisha was also very responsive. There is quite a lot of noise from the road, which the windows don't keep out.
- Sam (10/5): Beautiful stay with family and two dogs. Dont miss out on a very spacious and beautiful house. - The property was beautiful and spacious. The shower was really nice and we felt right at home. There were shops and pubs within walking distance and contact with the host was easy through booking.com Theres a lot of stairs so be prepared and it can get warm in the top twin bed room but there was a very capable fan in the wardrobe that kept me cool all night. The only other thing is the chairs in the kitchen are
Not suitable for chronic pain sufferers like myself but there are plenty of cushions to sit on and the rest of the house was super comfy.
- Sare (10/5): Peaceful Urban Stay that Exceeded Expectations - The attention to detail in every way along with the exquisite decor was wonderful. I like to book homely places and this property is exactly that.
The host left a hamper with lots of goodies, I loved the high end products in the bathroom they were just gorgeous. The home is fully equipped for children of all ages with games and toys. I brought my dogs and it was perfect for them with the garden and they were happy in the big kitchen. The house is spacious and the beds are comfortable. Really exceeded my expectations. I stay in alot of these type of homes and sometimes you arrive tired and there's no salt and pepper or milk. It's really nice to come and have a cuppa straight away and not have to remember to buy condiments when you want to cook but here there was much more than just milk and condiments
For a peaceful urban stay with all you need in the home and close by including top quality take aways, this is the place. We visited Knowlesly Safari Park during our stay. Langs Hall won't disappoint and Trisha the host was responsive and helpful. Thanks for being so thoughtful regarding the needs of your guests. We hope to come again soon!
- Lorraine (10/5): Overall a lovely house the host was very helpful and could answer all our questions. - Very beautiful house, so welcoming would definitely like to book again. Nothing.
- Sarah-jane (10/5): Wonderful property. - This is a beautifully presented house with all necessary facilities. The host is very communicative. Nothing
- Barnaby (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the addition of the Christmas tree as we were staying from Christmas Eve to the day after boxing day
- Darryl (10/5): No words needed. It’s fantastic place to stay - Fantastic day, looking to book it again. Highly recommend Everything it was superb
- Neil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wayne (10/5): Exceptional - the property was as described and ticked all our boxes nothing to complain about i would highly recommend and stay again a very good host who was very helpful nothing
- Graham (9/5): Suited the needs of the stay - Nice and spacious Lack of places to eat out in the evening
- Simon (9/5): Really enjoyed our stay at Lange Hall and would definitely stay again - The property was well presented and you could see how much care is taken is ensuring guests are catered for Beds were uncomfortable on first level
- Angela (9/5): Superb - Location fit our needs perfectly. Lovely decoration, the garden and spacious rooms.
Tisha was a wonderful host keeping in touch prior, during and after our stay. The welcome basket after our long travels was very much appreciated! There wasn't anything I didn't like.
As a note ..we couldn't get the coffee machine to work ..maybe our incompetence!
And the dishwasher wasn't the best. Nothing major!
- Deirdre (10/5): a relaxing home from home close to lots of cities - The beautiful building and decor with a safe enclosed garden for our dog. it had excellent facilities for games books and relaxing in the garden! nothing
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Stephanie (10/5): Definitely book again ! - Great welcome package with something for everybody’s choice fur breakfast! Lovey and warm and very comfortable
- Ashley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emma (10/5): Such a lovely place - It was lovely so beautifully decorated and equipped with everything including t towels, oven gloves and everything you might need plus an amazing welcome hamper! Really was a home from home and lovely place to base our family for the weekend. Owner was extremely helpful as well.
- Hosanna (9/5): Superb - Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely decorated home, we love the fresh flowers, the host prepared wine, honey, grapes for us. It was very nice of her.
We also liked the mini fireplace/ heater in the living room. It was a pity that there are only one bathroom/toilet. So if you’re travelling with a family of 3-5 persons, people would have to take turns to use the bathroom.
