• Julie (10/5): Don’t think we could have booked a better hotel! - This hotel couldn’t be better located - right on the beach in a beautiful peaceful location! It is about a kilometre walk along the beach or road to the bustling little town of Potos with plenty of little shops and eating places. There are two excellent restaurants on the beach within close proximity and a taverna on the main road. The fantastic pool at the front overlooks the sea and has amazing sunsets. The room was basic but in great condition and we were very comfortable. The friendly service of every member of staff, particularly Dimitra on reception, was outstanding. The breakfast was excellent. Can’t praise this hotel highly enough and have already recommended it to friends.

• Arthur (10/5): Lovely Hotel with friendly staff - Kamari Beach Hotel was a great place for our short stay in Thassos. Breakfast was excellent with great views of the beach. We found the rooms to be clean, sheets were crisp and our balcony was large with nice views. The only suggestion is that management makes a small investment in the rooms eg. add a few extra power points, larger televisions and lighting improvements. It was great to have a large swimming pool which was clean, although we would have liked to have had a few more lounge chairs around the pool. Overall, Kamari Hotel is a lovely hotel with friendly staff and I recommend it to anybody who wants a relaxing time in a really good location.
• MICHELE JOANNA (8/5): Buen hotel en la playa - Lo mejor : hotel directamente a pie de la playa, buen desayuno con vistas de la terraza espectaculares (playa y montaña), recepciónista muy amable, cama confortable. El restaurante cerca "Seabreeze" es super bueno. Lo único que no me gustó mucho es que no tiene privacidad desde las terrazas de las habitaciones (se ve todos los vecinos...) Pero todo lo demás muy bien!

• Nananina (6/5): - Easy access to the beach, nice pool area. The rooms are a bit weird. The bathrooms have a glass portion of the wall and are not very well lit (shower part especially). Room was a decent size, however again the issue with lights. The main light for the whole room is fluorescent - red, green, yellow, blue. Overall not a bad hotel, but I don't think I would stay there again.
• Peter (4/5): teleurstellend - Helaas aan het eind van het seizoen lijkt er niets meer te gebeuren in het hotel is men zich aan het voorbereiden op de winter, zodoende werd er vreemd opgekeken toen wij ons kwamen melden bij de receptie voor een kamer welke wij geboekt hadden via de app met onze zuurverdiende extra gratis nacht. naar wat heen en weer gebel door de receptioniste in een kamer gestopt welke nog toonbaar was, op de kamer zelf was niets op aan te merken deze was prima in orde en had waarschijnlijk recent een update gehad met ook een paar heerlijke bedden. na een wat verhitte autotocht hadden we wel zin in een lekkere koele duik in het zwembad maar.. helaas hier was waarschijnlijk een aantal weken niets aan gebeurd op schoonmaakgebied en helemaal groen uitgeslagen van de alg! volgende ochtend ons ontbijt genuttigd in de koude regenachtige buitenlucht omdat het blijkbaar te veel moeite was om binnen een aantal zitjes te creeren. dus al met al een teleurstellende ervaring in dit horrorhotel!
• Verified traveler (8/5): - It was a shame this is a great location the beach is perfect for swimming which we had to do as unfortunately our amazing pool turned green for the last 4 days we were there. Some of the staff were abrupt and the boss as they called him had some stupid rules. It is a nice hotel but could offer so much more they couldn’t even offer you a sandwich. But it is a very nice hotel and peaceful relaxing area. A short walk away from restaurants and further along a good selection of bars and more restaurants in Potos 😃

• Ioanna (6/5): . - Μέτριο ξενοδοχείο..το δωμάτιο είχε σκόνη παντού , το πάτωμα βρώμικο, τα παράθυρα δεν έχουν σίτες και πατζούρια. Στο χώρο του πρωινού κυκλοφορούν μύγες πάνω στα τρόφιμα.

• ZUMRUT (10/5): - My husband and I stayed in this hotel for a week one summer, and next summer my mother and my sister joined us. The hotel has very good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, two pools, one pool bar, a restaurant (which would only make pizza and pasta), free parking, free wi-fi (which would work better in and around the lobby), free chairs and umbrellas for hotel guests, sandy beach and sandy sea. (When we were there two summers, there was no jellyfish or stones in the sea.). Many thanks! ευχαριστώ πολύ!

• Maria (2/5): Μάλλον δεν γνωρίζουν τι θα πει καθαριότητα!!!! - Η κατάσταση του ξενοδοχείου είναι τραγική. Έχει μια μοκέτα που δεν έχει καθαριστεί από τότε που άνοιξε το κατάλυμα! Τα δωμάτια ανακαινισμένα αλλά με βρώμικα σεντόνια και πετσέτες! Ζητήσαμε σεντόνια γιατί ήταν βρώμικα και η ρεσεψιονίστ αγενέστατα δεν μας έδωσε. Γενικά γ εντύπωση που δίνει το κατάλυμα μόνο θετική δεν είναι. Δεν το συνιστώ σε κανέναν! Ηχομόνωση κακή! Ο διάδρομος σκοτεινός. Πρωινό ικανοποιητικό. Η σχέση ποιότητας τιμής δεν ανταποκρίνεται! Χρειάζονται πολλές βελτιώσεις. Για 4 βραδιά δεν μας άλλαξαν ούτε σεντόνια ούτε πετσέτες.

• Oguz (6/5): Hotel Kamari Beach 15 Temmuz 2018 - Otelin yeri güzel, kendi plajı olması çok iyi. Tuvalet ile oda arasında bir cam ve panjurlu perde var, kapısı cam ve perde yok. Bu kısım sıkıntılı. Çocuk yatağı çok konforsuz. Personel güler yüzlü ve yardımsever. Otel temiz. Genel olarak Thassos çok güzel, yeşil ama biraz pahalı. Gidilecek yerleri önceden internetten araştırıp öyle gitmek lazım.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - The rooms are very interestingly designed, we were told by the son of the owners, who is an Architect working in London. Friendly staff, nice swimming pools. The beach is fantastic as is is relatively quite (Potos town being the other end of the bay), the sea is warm & clear, the waters being shallow for an incredibly long way out with just sand underneath. The rocks to the left allow for snorkeling or fishing. The only minor negative points was that they are not geared up for food, so the breakfast was OK, but for lunch you can only get a toasted sandwich. This is offset by wonderful restaurants just 2 mins walk up the beach, the best calamari I have ever had! The beach service is almost non-existent, so if you want a drink you need to walk to the swimming pool bar - not a big deal, but just off perfection.

• Fadi (6/5): Pas top. - Hôtel très cher par rapport à l'offre. Chambre au 2eme étage sans ascenseur !!! Personne pour monter les bagages. Petit déjeuner médiocre, pas beaucoup de choix et pas toujours bon. Salle de bain mal éclairée (pas de lumière dans la douche) et petite, pas d'intimité (une partie de la salle de bain est vitrée avec pleine vue sur les toilettes). Éclairage à 90% en ruban led multicolore, pas suffisant pour éclairer la chambre. Petit parking toujours plein. Minibar vide mais ils arrivent quand même à vous facturer des boissons par erreur, de plus, le paiement de la chambre à été fait sans autorisation alors qu'on voulait payer à la fin. Belles piscines et proche de la plage. J'ai payé un 5* à Kavala beaucoup moins cher et j'en avais pour mon argent.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Clean and quiet - The hotel is clean and very quiet, hotel staff-friendly and helpful. The pool is clean and inviting, fresh breakfast, enough to choose from. The hotel beach isn't the best, some rocks, pebbles mix with the sand but it's still Ok. Nice breeze all the time(during the and of May). The hotel is a good choice for people with young children or teenagers.Potos has many places to eat and shop. The roads in Thassos might be a bit challenge for people from USA.

• Catalina (10/5): Great hotel! - Is not close to the beach, is ON the beach! It's a great place, with great stuff and very good breakfast. The pool is awsome and they serve drinks on the beach too. Is close to Potos (aprox.2km) and Pefkari (where you have watersports, scuba, atv and scooter rentals). The rooms are spacious and clean, you have parking space, garden tables to relax at. It might take a while to accomodate with the bathroom glass door and wall, but is in the pictures so you know what you are choosing :) They don't have a restaurant, but you can go next to them for a great meal at lunch or dinner (there are 3 restaurant at about 100m from them). Ayrica araba ile geldiğimizden otopark bizim icin önemliydi .Bu konuda en sıkıntısiz yer.
• Verified traveler (2/5): It is not a hotel at least not three star. - When we booked the hotel we did not get any notice that during our stay they will charge us extra for beach towels. we asked the hotel if they could give us towels for free since we paid for 4 nights and we were to leave the hotel after 3 night stay but they refused instantly. we could not sleep during the first night. Next to our balcony some people were talking and laughing loudly whole night. At 8 AM In the morning we woke up to a sound of a vacuum cleaner. Later they told us that it was normal since the cleaning service in the hotel was from 8 o'clock in the morning. We felt dead tired and sleep deprived that day. There were no slippers in the room and booking info did not mention anything about it. The breakfast was terrible we went out to find an alternative but everything was closed in the morning. we suffered from mosquito bites and there were no protection means available in the hotel to keep those bloodsuckers away. The room walls and bed head had stains of mosquito blood shed and we added several more after killing some. If I ever go to Thasos i will never stay in this hotel again.
• Dee (10/5): Great location if you are looking for quiet - Hotel is located at the tip of a cove, away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Yet with in a 15-20min walk away from the restaurants,bars, and shops. We had a fantastic time spending our honeymoon here. It was so quiet at all times, even the bar wouldnt play loud music. The hotel has ton of hang out space so you never have to fight for a beach chair or cabana. The beach in this area is not as nice as other parts of the island. It is not dirty or anything, it is just the quality of the sand, it has black sand some parts giving water a darker color. Hotel serves a very basic breakfast, from my understanding they dont have a kitchen. i am a foodie and i thought they could improve the quality of olives and feta cheese being served. Otherwise everything else was good. Rooms are not so big but enough space. Nice bathrooms, no bathtub, standing shower. The only thing that was missingwas the light in the shower. I needed that shaving my legs!
• Cemile (8/5): Çok güzel - Yeşillikler içinde bir hotel. Odalar temiz. Her gün temizlik yapılıyor.Havuz güzel görünüyordu ama biz hiç girmedik çünkü deniz çok güzel. Hem temiz, hem de sığ.Yeri de güzel. Lokantalar yürüme mesafesinde. Potos un merkezi ise araba ile 5 dakika. Genel olarak memnun kaldık.Herkese tavsiye ederim ama özellikle çocuğu olanlar çok rahat ederler
• R Lawrence (4/5): Surface clean/nice but look deeper and its grim! - The swimming pool stains your skin and swimming atire, the pool bar seats are loose and they hurt your bottom. The swimming pool also is very dirty at the bottom, the hotel only seem to clean the top of the water, the jaczucci looked grim. The location is a 25 minute walk, up and down heels from Potos. 2 star!!
• Dogan Yavuz (8/5): Denize sıfır tatil.. - Otelin yeri oldukça güzel. Önünden rahatça denize giriliyor. Ancak odalar internet sitesindeki gibi değil, çift kişilik yatak oldukça küçüktü. Hizmet fena sayılmaz. Temiz bir oteldi. Denize bu kadar sıfır bir otelin doğrudan denize bakan bir odası olmaması ilginç. Biz bahçe katını tercih ettik, memnun kaldık. Personel de iyiydi. Ancak kahvaltının acilen geliştirilmesi lazım. Otel'in bulunduğu Potos'un denizi Ada'nın en güzel denizi değil ancak yine de tertemiz, berrak, hızlı derinleşmeyen bir deniz. Bu arada otelin oldukça büyük bir havuzu ve çim alanı da var.
• Yavuz (2/5): Berbat bir otel - Otel çok kötü hizmet hiç yok resepsiyonda ki bayanın suratsızlıği ilgisizliğı odalar Türk aile yapısına hiç uygun değil ve çok pahalı bir daha asla tercih etmem kaldığımız en kötü Otel çok üzgünüm
• Gogo (6/5): Die Lage ist gut. - Alles in allem ok. Allerdings für den Preis doch nicht ganz was es verspricht. Hotel ist schon was älter, allerdings wurde dieses renoviert. Moderne und Altbacken treffen aufeinander. Badezimmer/Toilette wird nur mit einer Glastür zum Zimmer geteilt, sehr ungünstig.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Nice hotel close to the beach - Nearly only guests from Bulgary, Romania, Russia. Nice beach but most horrible guests - driving at the beach and loud music playing. Breakfast was ok but not more.
• Tanja (6/5): Tolle Lage direkt am Strand - Uns hat die Lage des Hotels sehr gut gefallen. Frühstück im Freien auf der schönen Terasse war toll. Nach einem Wechsel des Zimmers (was nicht ganz einfach war), hat uns auch dieses sehr gut gefallen. Einziges Manko: Aus dem Waschbeckenabfluss und dem Klo hat es so stark müffelig gerochen, dass man es bereits beim Reinkommen ins Zimmer bemerkt hat. Oberflächlich war aber alles blitzblank sauber.

• Svetlana (8/5): My Kamari beach experience - It was my first time on the island, and i must say i enjoyed it. The hotel location was perfect the beach was great and the water was fantastic. About the hotel. When i saw it for the first time i was impresed. The part with the pool and the garden are quite beautiful. The room however was't the best thing i've seen.The bed was small for two people. The bathroom was strange it was very dark and you basically can't see much. The cleaning crew were annoying , knocking at my door before 9am and waking me up! They were asking me when i was going to leave the room and when i told them that i don't know, they said "ok but when?!?!". I was like what is going on here?... The beakfast wasn't any good. Think abouth the cheepest things you can buy in the store and there it is , this is going to be your breakfast. Around the pool there are tabels where people can grab something to eat and drink. Of course this is if there is someone to take your order. I had to wait for more then 20 min. the first time i went there, and at the end i decided to go to the reception and ask them how can i order something. Over all i had good time, cause of the location of the place and the people i was with.
• Evgenia (10/5): Super Hotel - Der Aufenthalt einfach super, nettes Personal das Frühstück war super der Strand traumhaft. Das Hotel ist sauber, und wir hatten auch ein Zimmer mit Blick aufs Meer einfach super, kommen gern wieder.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Very nice beach right in front of the hotel. - We enjoyed staying. The only improvement suggestion is storing space. This can be improved by adding couple of shelfs and hanger in the bathroom.
